I tend to try and pick the color that takes up the most (blank) space instead of the words unless there's just a transparent or white background. Haha. Anyways, I appreciate the feedback!
Popular Post InfinateEternity
Hi, all! Congrats on all the progress and successes so far! I wanted to make sure I got an update in before the end of the month, and have 3 colors on the board (Orange, Purple & Black). The updated image of my rainbow is in the spoiler at the bottom of this post. Kaleidoscope Challenge Progress: 3/16 (A very light) Purple Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet I needed a game that features snacks for my entry in the Bingo Bonanza Challenge. And, this worked. It's a short visual novel about a candy shop owner/alchemist who embarks on a quest to gather the ingredients for - and make - her family's version of "the ultimate sweet" treat, with the help of a candy golem, her friends, and her rival. A full read of the story without skipping takes less than 40 minutes. So, there's really not much to say about it. It was cute for what it was, even if the characters did come across as one-note most of the time, and the overall story a bit meh/bland. Orange The Legend of Dragoon The Legend of Dragoon, on the other hand, was a wonderful touch of JRPG nostalgia that has a mature story. Even though it starts with you trying to save the protagonist's kidnapped childhood best friend, the narrative develops into a dragon-filled fantasy tale full of religious allegory (which includes commentary on racism & classism, plus a touch of politics). Furthermore, there's an exploration on the meaning of family, and human relationships. The game also features some voice acting, a great OST, and rhythm-based gameplay. I would definitely recommend it, if you haven't played it yet! (Read my full thoughts: HERE) Black Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory I truly enjoy rhythm games. And, Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory was no exception. The set list is massive, featuring 150 songs from all of the Kingdom Hearts games. And, the light RPG elements that were included (having enemies as the notes, using spells, and having level ups) were nicely done. It captures the spirit of the series while fully embracing the rhythm game mechanics. The journey to the plat can get a bit grindy between having to defeat 100,000 enemies & completing all the songs on all available difficulties (they don't stack). But, if you don't restart songs when you run into trouble, the end-game grind for enemies won't be that bad. And there are strategies to make even the most difficult trophies in the game manageable. Story-wise, this game is full of spoilers for all of the other Kingdom Hearts games, as abridged cutscenes recounted the major plot points of every previous entry. After you get through those, new story elements are added, making this narrative both a giant flashback AND one that furthered the overarching plot of the series. So, if you're a newcomer to Kingdom Hearts, it would be best to play this game last, in my opinion, unless what I've described won't bother you. Popular Post Sylvanticore
Another game completed. Gas Station Simulator, I thought about going into Orange for the logo but thought Tan might be better because of the hue behind it and surrounding the building.
Popular Post D4T-V4UL7_HUN7R_
End of January update: Completed 3 more games Nascar Heat 5- Just driving around in a bunch of circles, almost the same exact game as heat 4. Still better than the latest nascar releases though. Truck and Logistics Simulator- Chill game where you just drive around and do deliveries. Loading up the cargo onto the trucks was my favorite part. Reminds me of the delivery missions that used to be in the farming simulator games (which for some reason they removed). Red Dead Redemption- This is one of the first games I ever 100%d back in the xbox 360 days. It was nice to play it again after all these years. The Undead Nightmare DLC is still one of my favorites. Loved all 65~ hours I put into this.
Popular Post cstanci
UPDATE NUMBER....THREE! Finished The Ascent (and the DLC actually). The DLC, in my opinion, was MUCH more fun than the base game. But I really enjoyed everything! Not usually my type of game and it took a LOT of mixing and matching weapons/armor/augments but once you got the hang of the system - it was a blast! Some of the bosses were pretty dang hard too - looking at you, you stupid spider robot who wrecked me 15+ times before I got the best of him. Right now I am working on Jurassic Pinball (which kind of stinks but I can also use it for the Platinum Every Genre Challenge) and Gigantosaurus (another game that is....meh). Anywayyyyyyyyyyy - here is the updated card:

Oof. i didnt put Rogue explorer in my list last year for this exact reason. Light Blue looks more predominant to me somehow, so maybe turn the image upside down so it fits into Light Blue maybe? 😆
Popular Post Limitedsphere
Update # 3 I got two more done. Tinykin for purple. It was a blast! The game got added to PS extra and I didn't know anything about it. But if you enjoy light platformers with a Pikmin twist it's an easy recommendation. The game is short and sweet and surprisingly well made. It's slick, fast and responsive. It really made me happy that a game of this quality landed on my PS5 suddenly. Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault for light blue. It was the last game in the Ratchet and Clank series I needed to have a platinum in all games. And there's a good reason I kept it as the last game. It isn't very good. It's from the random period of PS3 games where everything needed to be multiplayer so they spun off the series to make a Tower Defense MOBA. It isn't total trash but it certainly isn't what the series does best.
Popular Post Dezorak
Bringing you an entry on my real rainbow i give you Minecraft.... was pretty easy thanks to things such as servers to get the achievements that are impossible on singleplayer (things like diamonds or snipe a skelly) and also playing the game since 2012 XD.... the 100 days achievement was a random one that i felt would have been good if i was playing the game normally but as i focused on trophies more then building a giant house i was left with a lot of afk time.... oh well was interesting to get at the very least :D. (now back to ark i got some bosses that i need to prepare for lol)
Popular Post Breakingthegreen
Hello again friends, I had a free day on Tuesday and thought I could complete a short game within the day, I didn't manage this, but I did get it completed a few days after. It's my 5th game, it's black and it's The Plane Effect. I thought this'd be easy, then I read that there's missable trophies and no chapter select... So I pulled up a guide where someone said in passing that the UK government loves to shove tubes of Pringles into peoples butts... 10/10 guide, I do recommend. The game is a hodgepodge of puzzles, stealth and platforming. Puzzles are about 75% of the game and in my opinion they aren't very good, a majority of the puzzles are just your basic lock and key affair, you find a robot missing a computer chip, there's a computer on a rope, and a knife that can cut the rope... this is one of the last puzzles and probably one you'll have worked out before you got to this part of the paragraph. The bigger problem with the puzzles however is that they are just in too big of a room and you'll struggle to find all the pieces unless you're on guide mode (which having played it, I would recommend.) The stealth segments aren't too thrilling either, because your character moves so slow and with such floaty controls, you are likely to meander yourself into harms way and will often feel unfair. The platforming is very... not good, it's delayed and a lot of the courses are isometric, and I want to apologise to my DT teacher because I still can't eyeball 30 degrees, as my character falls into the bottomless pits. The story in the game is very minimilist, I was aware of what was going on in the main character's story, but the world itself is a completely disjointed mess if it was meant to be taken literally, I legitimately couldn't tell you if it was authoritarian or post apocalypse, to be frank I'm not even sure that it's either of them. All I know was that there was a giant worm in the city and my brain short circuited. It sounds like I hate it, but I thought it was okay. The music and the style sold the nature of corporate despair that character went through, and I thought it was enough to see the game through to the end. Popular Post cstanci
UPDATE NUMBER...4? Yeah, four. Knocked out Gigantosaurus for LIGHT GREEN. (Let the little nephew play and when he quickly got bored - I just grinded out the trophies.) Not much to say about the game - the camera is TERRIBLE. And then I knocked out Unpacking for PINK. Really REALLY enjoyed it. Told a really good story just through unpacking and placing items - a feat I am genuinely shocked the designers pulled off. Big fan. Here is the updated card: Going to start on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy now and that is probably going under MAROON.
Popular Post Dezorak
bringing another (mainly as it was cheap and saw many playing it last year) capture donut county..... to sum it up its hole.io just with a nice little story. not the longest game which was perfect for me to kill some time between ark and waiting for it to get dark for my horror night stream tonight and can say i happily enjoyed the chill pacing, and enjoyable story.
Popular Post Caju_94
My first update! This was my progress for January 2024: These were all games I had to platinum since years ago, since I am now motivated to raise my completion rate and tackle my backlog of already started games. 5 games in one month. That is very, very good.
Popular Post lady-reze
For green, I played ReTurn. I was really struggling trying to find a green so I hope this works! If not, let me know. 🙂 ReTurn is a Japanese inspired horror RPG game, and I am a big fan of this genre so I was excited to play this game. I have heard nothing about this game and couldn't find any guides for it, so I went into this very blind. Overall, not sure how to feel about this game.. I found the puzzles fun, but everything else about this game fell flat for me. The game is pretty short (about 2-3 hours) and I felt very confused by the story this game was trying to tell. A lot of stuff happens in the game, but none of it is really explained. The characters felt very one dimensional.. Any time something remotely interesting came up about a character, said character would get killed off before it could ever be expanded on. The ending is so rushed to the point it made me a bit salty lol. I sat there saying "that's it? really?" as the credits began rolling. There's no option to skip through text and the sprint mechanism isn't introduced until the second half of the game which made the second playthrough a bit tedious. So.. unfortunately it's not a game I'd recommend. 😅
Popular Post Biscoito18
1st Card🌈 Updating my card with: - TEKKEN 8 for blue. TEKKEN 8 feels like a great return to the serie's roots and, at the same time, it's so modern that it makes recent competitors look last gen. Truly a masterpiece that revived my love for the franchise; - Spirit of the North: Enhanced Edition for light blue. I ended up hating this game. The beautiful landscapes and calming music constantly conflict with frustrating mechanics, unnecessarily long animations, poorly tested timed objectives (the large area with geysers at the end of chapter 5 in particular) and terrible ideas, like the entire chapter 7. In the end, it was neither relaxing nor challenging, just annoying. Popular Post ProfSeajay7
I'm rush posting this as I have to go to church in 9 minutes. I'll come back and try to edit the details later. Anyways, finally got first February update! LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is going into Blue because the Hoth part is blue-ish. I am just glad to be done with this title as it's got too much content. 25 planets with huge hub worlds and over 1600 collectibles and challenges. If I ever play this again, it'll be with my nieces in co-op and it'll be the Nintendo Switch version WITHOUT trophies. I also just platinumed Adventures of Mana a few minutes ago and the official lists state it will work for Tan, so I put it there. I know the title speaks for itself but if any of you played any of the Mana games for trophies, then you need to know that this is a HD enhanced version of the original Final Fantasy Adventure on the Game Boy. With Visions of Mana announced, I decided to revisit the series. However, the level grind to Level 99 took me a long time, especially since I only played this game during my bi-daily walks. But it's a great game nonetheless, one of the few version exclusives that is a hidden gem. The Colors, Duke! The Colors! Red: Crime Secrets: Crimson Lily (PS5) Pink: Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror Light Blue: Ape Escape (PS4) Deep Purple: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (PS Vita) Grey: TOEM Blue: LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (PS4) Tan: Adventures of Mana Edited February 4 by ProfSeajay7
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Color #3, text copied over from the bingo event Quote I "proudly" present the worst game I probably played for this years bingo card - Lords of the Fallen, a game with online features. The very first game that I used the new rating system in the PSN Store for and it got a solid one star vote from me. And now, please follow me while I paint you a picture about my expierence with the game: First of all, the good stuff - it was fun in coop and I played the full game start to finish with a friend, but every game is better in coop. Maybe 3 bosses are actually fun to fight and had a cool looking design, keep in mind that we're talking about a game that released a month after Lies of P, a game that gave me some trust back in non FromSoftware souls games, but they blew it. All but, maybe, 8 bosses are used as regular enemies in the level afterwards anyways, the first boss after the tutorial is the best one, it's downhill from there. There's no chance you're solving half of the quests or the secret ending in the game without looking them up, they're confusing, NPCs don't drop a hint about the next location or what they want from you, the just move and that's that, but if you open a door or make to much progress somewhere else they might just refuse to talk to, or accept the item you're supposed to bring them, it's fun. Worst quest of them all - a NPC called Kukajin. You have to summon her to boss fights troughout the game and pay her afterwards for her help, that's not the part that sucks though. In Lords of the Fallen you can't summon NPCs or even see the summon signs unless you already died once to the boss, so if you don't look it up you have to die to every single boss just to see if there might be the NPC you need. The secret umbral ending ist the most jump backwards through eight flaming hoops while handcuffed and in chains I ever did, and the reward for all of that is a shitty reskinned boss fight from earlier and a secret area in the game that keeps crashing if you move more than 10m in two minutes. And that's not even a joke, in Mother's Lull you have to pull yourself to 4 different platform to reach the ending, if you do that too fast, the game crashes... every single time. Took me 15 minutes with crashes to travel maybe 100 meters. And finally the inventory - you have to farm every single piece of armor and every weapon in the game, it sucked, it's disrespecting my time as a player and it's no fun farming random pilgrims in the very first area of the game because they have three different capes. The bad part is - there's limited space in the inventory, 1337 slots to be exact for everything, spells, runes, consumables, everything. There's over 550 weapons and armor in the game, nearly half the inventory, of course you gonna get duplicates. But you can sell stuff, great isn't it? WRONG!!! Do you know that fairly new thing we can use to sort names, it's called the alphabet and works pretty good if you ask me. The game is using weight as it's sorting system and there's no button or setting to change that. And every time you sell an item, it reorders the inventory and if you happen to have duplicates with stuff that happens to have the same weight, they're mixed , so selling stuff turned into this annoying check if it really is a dupicate or the last of item XY you own. The cursor also keeps jumping to the bottom right item on screen, so don't spam selling or you might get fucked. Sorry for the rant, I had to. Please stay away from the game if you value your time and do something fun like stubbing your toe on a table instead. As always I'm also using this game as my Light Blue completion for the kaleidoscope challenge, just copying this text over
Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
As telegraphed, Medievil Resurrection for deep purple and game #4! This game surprised me in a lot of ways. The game had a lot of good humor (Sir Dan and his mummering is so funny), and the voice acting for a PSP game is so spot on. There was a lot of points I would just crack up laughing whether it was talking with the Heroes in the Hall of Heroes or talking with Death who just seemed so fed up with his job because of all the death going around. It really felt like a good, classic 3D platformer collectathon so if you are into that sort of thing, definitely give this a whirl. It definitely made me want to give the other games in the series a try... especially the remake.
Popular Post Redblaziken8
Really happy to add MGS2 as my white! This game is fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed the story and the gameplay holds up so well 23 years after its release. Can't wait to go and play MGS3 now. The VR missions were really tough, mostly just the MGS1 Snake missions but I had a lot of fun with them in general and the challenge was nice. The last trophy I had was for getting all the dog tags on Extreme. Extreme is no joke, a lot of the bosses took me a couple of hours, and I didn't cheese Vamp with the nikita or punch strat 🤣. Even though most of the bosses took me a couple of hours I loved perfecting/near perfecting the fights, and each cutscene afterwards did feel like a reward after getting through something tricky. Now on to MediEvil I think for something a bit relaxing after a really tough but incredibly satisfying platinum. Popular Post Dezorak
well its Sunday so that means its time to show you the results of my shovelware sunday stream (or shite shovelware the name dont really matter lol) first hentai vs evil (what else could i play for my 30th lol) - surprisingly not the worst game ever. although i think that maybe due to me comparing it with other shovelware games we played but ya the shooting felt alright but can tell its 100% assets that they bought and added into the game (also no hentai how clickbait of them) next is that nik and kit - a under 2 min game that you spam so fast many of those 30 second times on psn are accurate :D.... perfect for my theme but case of how did it ever get a plat trophy to begin with (and how does it have so many sequels) foxyland - this one actually had potential can tell they put some effort in it with artstyle but the trophies themselves are obviously only there for those wanting a quick plat.... case of here if they actually made a full and proper game it would be decent for anyone who liked old 8bit style platformers. (now for the question does completing the same game twice count if it wasn't an auto pop as turns out hentai vs evil had a ps4 AND ps5 version somehow lol)

Having said that, I think that particular card needs some actual games on it, as it's pushing into that "you need to cool it" territory - so I'd hold off on adding any more to that one until there's some thing more substantial to add 👍
