GhastlySoulsc
15 minutes ago, InfinateEternity said: Hi! I took a look at your profile, and it looks brand new. And, it looks like you're potentially aiming for a 100% profile. Given those factors, all of the suggestions below should be on PS Plus Extra in the EU or already on your profile, or be free in some way, since I don't really know what you have access to. I tried to also go with games that are on the easier side, too. Hopefully, one of these will work for you. If not, that's completely okay! 1) Gotham Knights - It looks like you haven't finished the story yet, which means it should be eligible for this event, per the OP. 2) Astro's Playroom - This should be available for free for all PS5 owners. 3) Death Stranding: Director's Cut (PS Plus Extra) 4) Lake (PS Plus Extra) 5) Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (PS Plus Extra) Thank you for the recommendations! I made this account with the intention of going for a 100% account indeed! I will either use Gotham Knights, since I am working on it now or another of your recommendations then!
Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Sticking in my first couple of completions for 2024! Box: "Anthropomorphised Animals" Game: "A Short Hike" A great little game - a short, easy-breezy, feel-good affair, that feels like going on a nice holiday, and put me in mind of a sort of combination of TOEM, The Touryst, Chicory, and Proteus! It's simple and sweet, but funny and charming, doesn't wear out it's welcome, and has some surprisingly satisfying flying/climbing controls! Every inhabitant of the island is an anthropomorphic animal - the protagonist - Claire - and her Aunt May are birds, but the island is filled with frogs, racoons, squirrels and all manner of critters and creatures - all walking on two legs and talking on cell phones/jogging/painting etc. Box: "Developed in a Foreign Country" Game: "Carto" An unusual combo of Lite Adventure game and geometric puzzler, where the player can shift sections of a map around, to shuffle the real world around them - and discover more of it, with a view to solving puzzles as they move from biome to biome as Carto - the young, ostensibly mute but very endearing and lovable young girl, looking for a way to reunite with her cartographer Grandmother after falling from her airship. (You heard me.) Developed by a small team called Sunhead Studios in Taiwan, so a good fit for this box, I think! I already got the platinum and now I'm finishing the free DLC which actually feels like a whole new game. Very rich in content and some very challenging time trials. I didn't expect this level of quality in a game from an almost forgotten franchise that first appeared in comic books and gained fame as cartoons decades ago. I still love the theme song dubbed in my native language. The perfect choice for O-1: Based on a Non-Gaming IP;
Popular Post GhastlySoulsc
I just finished Thunder Ray, which has no platinum trophy. Popular Post Yen-Pop
Off to a great start with G3 Isometric View with The Wild at Heart, a really fun, cute game that blends all the fun and charm of Pikmin, Knights on Bikes, Don't Starve, and an eldritch horror trying to destroy people. If you have PS Plus Extra or above I definitely recommend this while it's available. Then again I definitely have a type - cutesy games with survival horror elements. Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Just qouting my post from the kaleidoscope challenge, got my first square done Quote I'm starting the year off with and since white is just a combination of every other color, I'm using it as my red game of course FF12 is the first and only game of the final fantasy franchise I've played so far, although I'm planning to play FF16 next. I really like the game, I had a blast. The speed up feature is great for grinding out all the RNG that's in the game, the only negative I have about it. I think a lot of people don't like that the strategie happens in the menu, setting up all the gambits and not during actual gameplay, but to each their own. This also marks my bingo square "originally released without trophies" - just saying that because I'm quoting this over later

Popular Post Baker
My first completion of 2024: Final Fantasy V. I’m considering this a cult favorite. Great game. Probably the best pixel remaster I played with just FFIII left. Quick question about what counts as a completion. Specifically for Modern Warfare III (PS5) which is as we all know a DLC. Would that count for this event?

DrBloodmoney
@Squirlruler Question for you mate - I noticed that, if I’m not mistaken, the “Side Scrolling OR Bullet Hell” box from previous years has been modified, and now reads “Side Scrolling, Bullet Hell”. Are we to infer that that one now requires a game that is “Side Scrolling AND Bullet Hell”?

It may have been displaying weird this time and I changed the wording, but any box with multiple options is always "or".

Popular Post BeesTrophies
Count me in! My goal is to do better than I did last year which was one sad line 😅 Here is my card along with my first two entries.... Game You Think You Will Dislike --- The Callisto Protocol. Popular Post stuthesheep
Going to try and be slightly more pro-active with this than I was last year, mainly so I don't have to be updating four or five games at the same time. We'll see how long this New Year's resolution lasts. First one of the year marked off is I4 with Omno, as recommended by @kingofbattle8174 in the Attack on Completion 2023 thread. I second this recommendation, an enjoyable puzzle platformer that's well worth 4-6 hours of your time.
