Any games that have had film, tv or other adaptations will count. Examples would be The Last of Us with the tv show, Assassin’s Creed has had a film, novels and a comic book, Tomb Raider has had films and comic books. Games based on other media don’t count, like The Walking Dead and Sam and Max were comic books first, so they wouldn’t work.

Popular Post Heather342
Second slot on my bingo card 🎉 With Online Features -> Blazblue Cross Tag Battle This was a relatively easy fighting game to complete. The tag battle mechanic was pretty enjoyable as well. I mainly stuck with my Persona 4 Arena favourites for the battles though. The online lobbies are a ghost town unfortunately, so had to recruit the hubby to get those online and ranked wins 😅 Edited January 25 by Heather342 Reposting image

Popular Post stuthesheep
Marking off a couple of linked games here. First is G3 with A Plague Tale: Innocence - I reckon two games (as it stands now) counts as a series - and following that up with the sequel, marking off I2 with A Plague Tale: Requiem, both set in medieval France, despite the slightly jarring use of English accents in the second game, which threw me off for a good couple of hours. Really enjoyed both games despite that minor gripe, been a while since I've been that emotionally invested in a story and thoroughly recommend both games - unless you're not a big fan of rats, in which case you might end up having a rough time. Spoiler I2 (HIstorical) - A Plague Tale: Requiem 23/1 G3 (New Series) - A Plague Tale: Innocence 15/1 I4 (Recommended) - Omno 4/1

Popular Post amd8675309
Ok, this sounds fun! The only one I am not sure about is 05: "For another psnp event" since this is my only event planned for this year--I am open to ideas for events that are not too intense. (I did Platinum Every Genre before and it was lots of fun but quite involved with 43 categories or something.)

(I did Platinum Every Genre before and it was lots of fun but quite involved with 43 categories or something.) Hi! Here are a couple of ideas for low-key events (imo) if you need them: Kaleidoscope Challenge (You only need to complete 7 colors for a badge (based on last year), and the games & DLC allowed are very inclusive. You may complete this naturally as you work on your bingo card) Attack on Completion (This does have an optional scoring system & there are a few rules for allowed games. But, otherwise, it's just a group of people supporting each other as we work to improve our profiles' completion percentages at least 5% over the course of the year. The sign up deadline is February 1st. So, if you're interested, keep that in mind.) If either of these don't work, there are a few more events available on the site, and likely others that will be available during the course of the year. For example, while not confirmed, it is highly likely that there will be a 2024 event for International Trophy Hunting Day which is usually a short event, and very low-pressure. Either way, I hope you're able to find something that works for you!

Popular Post Treilio
B3 - Spawned an expanded universe: Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures 2 B5 - Has no platinum trophy: Blast Factor I2 - One word title: Stacking I5 - By an independent developer: Omno O3 - Free to play: The Light in the Darkness Pac-Man has had 2 animated tv shows and this game is actually based on one of them. The game is a 3d platformer where Pac-Man can gain different powers when eating power berries, such as changing to a fire Pac-Man that can shoot fireballs and hover in the air, or a rubber Pac-Man where you become more bouncier and can wall jump. I would say it's an improvement over the first game, but it's still not anything special. The game has some serious frame rate problems on some levels, it can feel like you are playing on slow motion sometimes. Blast Factor is a twin stick shooter made by Bluepoint Games. The game did not leave a very good first impression for me. When I first launched the game I tried going to the instructions in the game, but when I pressed it, the game tried to load a web page that gave me an error. After that I started a new game and got confused because I couldn't move or do anything. The problem was that my controller was on port 2 instead of 1, pretty confusing when I was able to navigate the main menu with the same controller earlier. Pretty soon I faced an enemy that I had no idea how to kill and stopped for the day. So yeah, I had to google how to play the game. Other than shooting, you can press L2 or R2 to do a repulse that slows time and pushes enemies back, or a wave by tilting your controller to left or right, that pushes enemies to that direction. Both abilities can be used infinitely, they just have a short time cooldown. Some enemies can only be killed after using these abilities, but some on the other hand can become more agressive if you use the wrong ability against them. The wave's tilting controls are not very reliable, sometimes the wave can go to the opposite direction you were tilting, or the game does not even register your tilt and you get nothing at all. If you could do the wave from L1 and R2, the game would be improved greatly. Now it's a game that I cannot really recommend. Stacking is a puzzle adventure game where you play as a Russian stacking doll. You solve puzzles by stacking to dolls that have different abilities, and all puzzles have multiple solutions to them. If you ever get stuck on a puzzle, you can then use the game's hint system with no penalty, other than having to wait a couple of seconds to get a new hint. The game's cutscenes are presented with a silent movie syle. If you want to buy the game, you have to first download the demo from PlayStation Store and then you can buy it from there. It costs 14,95€ for the game and 4,95€ for the DLC. It's a nice little game 👍 Omno is a puzzle 3d platformer with some influence from Journey. It has a nice artstyle and the game has no enemies, it's a very chill game. One thing that I would probably change is making the jump a little higher, now it feels a little too short to my liking. Still a pretty good game though. The Light in the Darkness tells a story of a family of Jews in France during the Holocaust. Nice little free game that made me quite emotional during the ending.
Popular Post ExHaseo
One more down this week. O5 - That Takes"Forever" to Beat - Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition - This is definitely a long boi, especially by today's standards. Even somewhat speedrunning it, it still took me 30 hours to beat. I have pretty controversial opinions on the series after Vesperia, and that ties a lot into what I think of the game, so I wont really talk much about it. I'm really glad the expanded version of this game did finally end up coming to the west with this definitive edition though. Mostly just have shorter indie games to play for a bit, but I'm also going to start slowly making my way through Digimon Survive. I bought it a while ago, and even though I really liked the story, I also really don't like tactics games. I mainly bought it because I thought it was mostly VN, but there's way more battles than I expected. I do want to experience the story though, so I'm going to try taking it in in smaller chunks. Popular Post DrBloodmoney
One more entry down! Box: "Side Scrolling or Bullet Hell" Game: "Laika: Aged Through Blood" A really cool, really well made Metroidvania, with Trials/ Joe Danger style controls. In the same way that Yoku's Island Express combined the traditional Metroidvania with Pinball mechanics, Laika: Aged Through Blood combines it with Trials-style bike controls - and mixes in a bunch of extremely fast, extremely deadly shooting mechanics with slow-motion aiming. The combat is deadly as fuck - you die in one hit, (or one bad landing, or one bike flip), and so do the enemies, in a very Hotline-Miami sort of way, and the combat feels like a 2D version of Rollerdrome. It moves really well, is super well designed, has an excellent (and EXTREMELY bleak) story, some great art, and genuinely some of the best music I've heard in a game in a while! Highly recommended for any fan of Metrodvanias, Trials, Hotline Miami, Rollerdrome, foxes, ultra-violence, dirt bikes, Mad Max, extreme sadness, nausea-inducingly brutal descriptions of torture... ...and lengthly discussions of menstrual blood. (you heard me.) Feels like it fits both Side-Scrolling, AND Bullet Hell at times - but while it isn't always a traditional Bullet Hell, it is always side-scrolling, so fits the box nicely!
