.. I'm not the one for saying cheesy stuff but this anime/game has taught me a lot if u have people that's important to you so important that you'd do anything for them then spend time with them, be there for them cause time doesn't wait for nobody even if you have a time machine time will never stop time is steadily moving.. Like I said I'm not the one for cheesy stuff but I really thank this anime/game for making me realize that hell even more so than I did before I watched the anime or played the game, this game gets a 10/10 from me and without a doubt is the best visual novel to date!

#125 - God of War: Ghost of Sparta

 

 

 

That's the 5th God of War game done with. I'd consider this one to be the worst one so far, too many rooms that lock you in one after another. The levels weren't all that interesting either this time around. Personally it was also the most difficult of the 5, even though the last boss fight was a joke. The challenges of the Gods on the other hand were the easiest of all. 1 or 2 took a few tries , the rest was a breeze. Still it's a reasonably good game.

#96 - Ratchet & Clank on PS4 (30th plat of 2016) - 34.48% UNCOMMON

 

Had a lot of fun playing this remake of the classic game.  I need a third play through to get the groovitron related trophy but I did not mind.  I do wish you could have skipped the clank puzzles as having to play these a third time was a little annoying but thankfully they do not take long.

 

Overall 8/10 enjoyment with a 2/10 for difficultly and I do hope to see ratchet and clank on the PS4 again in the not too distant future.

#133: Sonic Generations

All Trophies Collected!

One of the best Sonic newer Sonic games on PS3. It gives hope that Sega still knows how to make good Sonic games. Sorry I didn't like Unleashed. But this game is just great taking levels from best and making them feel new again. I has lots of fun going through Sonic's best level, well maybe not Crisis City, that level was a pain to S Rank. I expected much more of this game, is not a bad game but i think it could be much better. It is an easy platinum, the highest difficulty is not difficult at all and the the only thing you have to do is repeat chapters to do what you need or pick up collectibles. My platinum number 10 will be something special for me, but I dont know what game yet.

The soundtrack in this game is excellent. It's not as much of a grind as people made it out to be. You just need to play on All Night and get perfect a few times and you'll be done in under 2 hours.

Another backlog game completed. The Little Big Planet series are great for people who are playing for a good co-op experience and fun with friends. This game in particular in my opinion was the hardest of all 4 Little Big Planet games by far. Not because it's a difficult game itself, but the reason for this platinum to be a 5/10 it's because of the trophies  Dive in 25 and 1440 Minutes of Create, where they patched both trophies, making it VERY time cosuming. So be aware of those two trophies if you ever go for the platinum

And after going for LBP 2, this one was by far the easiest Little Big Planet game of all times  No time consuming or difficult trophies whatsover, don't need to depend on people to get online trophies and had no problem acing the campaign levels and completing the challenges. But to be fair, this game was the most fun to play of all games. Definitely a shame to be done with the series

A Symphony of Horror Trophies

There's something twisted about a horror game giving you 'wood'...

 

First things first: thank you, zadorvp, for reminding me to play this game (repeatedly...). This one's for you, buddy   

About Until Dawn itself...I think it really deserves all the praise it has gotten. As a cinematic experience, that is.

As a game it does have a slight problem with controls. But since it's mostly QTE's and making choices, those "Heavy Rain" movements are forgivable.

UD is basically a compilation of 80's horror movies (which are all awesome). Even the trophy descriptions are from old and new horror classics.

My biggest fear before starting the title was the characters. Stereotypical teens stuck in a cabin? This was going to suck...

BUT lo and behold, every person turned out to be a cool one and someone to root for. Well, Jessica and Emily did have their share of bii-aatch moments   

I ended up liking Mike the most. He behaved a lot like Nathan Drake, minus the voice actor. Matt could've been used more, he was the "Hawkeye" of the bunch.

Then there's Peter Stormare. As great as he was (as always), I kind of wanted to see the true horror icon Bruce Campbell in that role.

And since UD is a love letter/semi-parody/nod to old scary flicks, they might as well could have made the whole thing set in the 80's as well.

That's just my opinion, though. Maybe there could be a sequel with all my wishes coming true, you never know   

For fans of interactive journeys (Heavy Rain, Beyond Souls etc...) and jump scares, Until Dawn hits the home run. Just get ready for a Fright Night

Alright.. to start with.. If you want to enjoy and underestand this game the right way.. then you SHOULD watch the show first.. i would recommend the first 4 seasons because there are many names..places..cities and events that are related to the series as well as minor spoilers . As a huge fan of the show..this was a must play. it was another great telltale game as always and im sure i did well with my choices and ending cuz i had some experience from the show. however i played the ps3 version and episode 6 was pretty fucked up.. infinite loading times and sound bugs and eventually a freeze that i had to restart my ps3. neverthless it was a great game to a great series. waiting for S2 !!

glad to see someone actually understanding what the premise of the game was: a parody/homage/satire of every horror movie. most people complains about the jumpscares, annoying teenagers, the clichés, etc when that was all made on purpose to make the game feel like an interactive horror movie experience.

 

although what you said about matt is another cliché: in horror movies the black guy -in this case matt- and the dumb sexy blonde girl -in this case jessica- always dies first or if they survive -which is rare- they become pointless characters/have little screen time.

 

so yeah, having matt and jess with not much screen time and making their scenes in the mine practically pointless for the whole plot is just another of the thousands of horror movies clichés that supermassive games masterfully put all together in one game.

Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD

 

 

It started out fun and did enjoy Avelines Story. Once I was trying to do some of the clean up I started running into numerous glitches and it started to take from the game. I even thought my 100% sync trophy glitched on me. I had to replay the last mission to get that and the plat to pop.

 

the countdown to 200 starts. Not sure how long it will take. Starting at the end of August I am starting online courses so my game time may take a hit.

Medal Of Honor: Warfighter - For Honor, For Country

 

Yeey, I now have all plats in the Medal Of Honor series !

But boy what a ride, especially the multiplayer. Bugs, glitches, lag, freezes and disconnects ? This game has it all. Luckily the trophies aren't too hard, still managed to clock the online trophies at 33 hours.

New rarest platinum trophy with a 1.92% rarity !

I really enjoyed the game. The five different characters gave this game a nice diversity in play styles. My favorites were Cornelius and Velvet as I like their fast movements. The different, intertwining stories gave this game a nice variety and it was fun to follow the whole story and how everything turns out. Especially the stories around Ingway and Velvet were nice to follow. The gameplay itself was similar to Muramasa Rebirth and so definitely enjoyable for me. A great aspect was the fact that the collectibles were easy to find due to the ingame hints. With the exceptions of two or three (e.g. those above the ladder-ones) I was able to find all Phozons right off the bat. Sadly I can't add anything else besides: I want a Pooka!
