Popular Post Dantes_994
MARVEL'S SPIDER MAN Be GreaterCollect all Trophies FUN: 10/10 DIFFCULTY: 4/10 Spider man has been my all time favorite super hero ever sicne I saw Toby on the big screen back in 2001. Nothing has changed 21 years later and this game has been an absolute joy to play through. It respects the charaters while also paying omage to the past, something that has been a very difficult thing to do these days it seems. I also played through the whole game while wearing the Amazing Spider Man costume as, while I adore Toby, Andrew will always be my favorite spider man. From start to finish I felt as I was spider man himself, I loved the turmoil that he was going through as he was always someone that showed me that you can be good despite the bad that is happenign around you and, well, that ending just drove that point through. And don't even get me started on the voice acting! I am a huge fan of Yuri ever since I heard him voice Sasuke in naruto when I was a kid and now I can't imagine anyone else voicing him ever again. Miles was also a great addition to the team and I loved how well they implemented not only him, but so many other characters into the game. From MJ to the villains, everyone just felt so... Spider Man like. Like they were ripped straight out of the movies and the comics. And, though I preffer Gwen to MJ, just as I did in the older movies, this MJ is so easy to fall in love with. Honestly I could go on forever about every single character, that is how good all of them are. I bought the ps4 version as I didn't want my Peter to look like Hom Toland as he is the Spider Man I dislike the most. I mean he isn't bad but he isn't great in my opinion either. Plus, this is a new universe, let this Peter have an identity of his own. While I probably won't be picking up the Miles Morales game I am super excited for the next one! And I hope the quality of the game does not falter in any way. Actually, if there is one sentance with which I would describe the experience I had with this game as well as the emotion it left, it would be "Trying to be better." P.s. This is platinum no.16 for me woho Onto the dlc! Black cat awaits ?

Popular Post nestamar5
Super Neptunia RPG A True Hero Trophy Rarity: 32.12% This is proof you played Super Neptunia RPG thoroughly. You're a true hero! Super Neptunia RPG is unlike any other game in the Neptunia franchise. It is a 2D RPG with light platforming elements. Most of the game and story take place in the platforming sections, especially if you're ending battle quickly, rather than visual novel style cutscenes. The art style is absolutely fantastic, I love how it goes for a more fantasy styled setting and looks like it was drawn by hand in comparison to the usual style of the Nep games. It reminds me a lot of Child of Light. As for the gameplay, you maneuver across platforms and if you run into or attack an enemy, you transition to the battle screen much like in Child of Light. You can change formations between party members which will change whatever stat boost/abilities the party will have and pressing one of the face buttons will make whichever character currently assigned to that button to do an action you've assigned to them. The combat system is a little too limited for my liking and requires more set up in the menu in between battles if you want to see everything, you'll only have use of up to 16 skills (not including passive skills and bonuses) to use in a battle. I honestly would've preferred if the battle system was more like early Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest much like the end credits sequence in most Neptunia games. This game has lot of problems ranging from bugs and glitches to just bad game design. The menu is extremely slow to pull up and navigate. Although I eventually got used to it, waiting for the cursor to move was pretty annoying especially when I was just trying to get in and out of the menu. Sometimes when I would complete a quest the game would temporarily freeze, I almost reset the game a few times because of this. Objects in the foreground obscure platforms. Both objects in the background and foreground can be easily mistaken for platforms you can land on causing you to redo that area. Sometimes the battles would get boring. Once you get Blanc's formation rank high enough and place her in front, you'll be auto healing whatever damage the enemy can do to you in seconds including the final boss. I combined this with Neptune's Protagonist Slash and a couple of magic attacks from Noire and Vert and that was game. Even enemies with ridiculous amounts of health were just punching bags because they couldn't outpace my auto healing. Luckily, there's a speed up button that makes battles go by really fast, but you could also argue that a feature like a fast forward button shouldn't be needed if the game is fun. The story is where I got the most of my enjoyment though, and it's what kept me going through this game. The four goddesses have lost their memories and the world revolves around 2D gaming. An organization called Bombyx Mori forces its citizens to pay taxes with 2D games. If the games don't meet their standards, the citizens are sent to the Trial Grounds. I found a lot of the new characters incredibly charming and the story well paced, there's only a couple scenes where I felt they were going on for a little too long. In my opinion, this is one of the better stories in the Neptunia franchise.

Popular Post Mipsy
#14: Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online (PS4) ** Played on a PS5 via PS4 BC ** There will always be more Nep-Nep to Nep. That's basically been a guarantee since Hyperdimension Neptunia busted loose from the destined dustbin of one-and-done anime B-graders to morph into a 12-year-running franchise encapsulating figurines, crossovers, manga, anime - and of course, over a dozen VG entries under the sun. (And that's not counting remakes!) How *did* this referential universe of Gamindustri stick it out through a decade and beyond, when so many others wilt and fade? Cyberdimension Neptunia makes a fairly comprehensive example as to how, and why: a host of charming ladies ranging from goddesses to one-off gags bursting with banter and fun, a wide and extensive homage to / parody of the Console Wars and VG (especially Japanese) culture overall, just enough meat on the dish to satisfy its more ardent players - and, well, can't forget: a trim budget worthy of a ball of thread. Seriously, ain't nobody can copypaste in a sneaky way like Idea Factory~ Ah, IF notwithstanding, Tamsoft took over production for titles like Action U and Cyber Nep, the latter of which tackles that occasional .hack / SAO beast: the faux-MMO. That is to say, a singleplayer RPG designed to simulate the trappings of massive multiplayer, without the waves of other human players to match. I think it deffo exceeds the older .hacks in playable punch and verve, though even as a higher-tier Neptunia, situation must be observed: We're not talking production values or complexity through the roof - ah, mind, with Neptune around, the roof of one's console itself could be at risk. The game pledges 4 Goddesses Online, not an intact 4th wall. Let's dive in. Console Wars have been old hat in Gamindustri, quite unlike reality, for a few games now. What better time for the four CPUs of this console-driven realm to all jack into the latest MMO in their world? Joining them will be the four CPU Candidates, the younger sisters of mk2 infamy, as well as a wide assortment of companions both veteran and new. Whilst not a realm of RL fatalities, like The World or Aincrad, Alsgard of 4GO faces its own peril when a bringer of malware seeps in unnoticed, threatening to unravel 4GO before it can even escape its closed beta, and potentially crumble its parent company as well as the public's trust in the health of the MMO market - well, all that, plus, the CPUs want to have fun playing their video game together, and someone or something imperils that fun! Adequate reason to chase a threat down and (I kid you not) "Nep it up!" ("Nep" wrung a verb out of a noun long before modern companies ran with the trend.) And so, the core cast of 8 join forces and classes to clear the game's plot, as well as thwart a viable plot against. All this plot, and we haven't even touched (upon?) any fanservice! ? Of which abides plenty, as befits the tapped Senran Kagura team. Happily, Tamsoft keeps things neatly brisk - the main plot itself, the humorous side scenes, the RPG action and progression, even the characters' movement - and that celerity, IMO, most strongly cements Cyber Nep's sturdier foundation. Rather than plop a heap of material upon rickety legs or data shambles, Cyber Nep revs its motor from the opening. That may well serve to mask over its inevitable deficiencies, but it also kept me well engaged, akin to something like an Ys or a Sonic - kinetic motion spins that trick for many of us, mmhm. Seriously, comparing clips to the PS2 .hacks, and even contemporary SAO video game releases, 4GO moves *fast* and *slick*. Any of the gals can quickly rack up basic combo attacks, pull off a decent array of MMO skills whether physical or magic, flip to the side to evade, leap, and generally keep herself moving - fast, and slick. The game's speed works heavily in its favor, 'cause as a B-grader, cracks will show, and they will nag if not adroitly attended. Side quests never extend beyond basic fetch-or-slay, and every single posting must be completed to obtain Platinum - heck, much of the time, even to advance the plot. "Poise" as a concept hardly exists; foes will merrily chew through a teammate's HP if even one exposes herself to a combination move. This being a faux-MMO, revival comes scarce, and hella costly for the vast majority of your time. Nothing is dropped or lost upon a total party wipe, at least. Tamsoft's character models don't quite do justice to the Neptunia cast, in my opinion. With audio, I appreciate the upgrade in compositional diversity over the average Neptunia soundtrack, although a fair number of tracks (courtesy largely from the multi-talented Yuki Sugiura, in his Neptunia debut) feel..."appropriate", and little beyond. :c Interestingly for HDN, the gentler tunes - the snappy menu themes, the lovely town theme for Wishuel, the downbeat and warmhearted convo BGM - shine much more brightly than anything uptempo. The sound effects tend to overlap too quickly to get fully appreciated, what with the party of 4 smacking & blasting everything around everywhere, but the voice acting excels perhaps above any other Neptunia effort, in both recorded languages. On the native side, each seiyuu sounds wonderfully comfortable in their roles by now; no complaints of substance can I bridge there. As for English, Carrie Keranen's dual roles aside, the dub turned in an above-average performance for sure. I'll be expelled from Neptunia fandom for this upcoming viewpoint, but Erica Mendez sounds *so* refreshing and endearing as Noire that I'm more than content having Erin Fitzgerald abandoned that role. The game's new pair of rivals will sound immediately familiar to the Genshin Impact crowd, in a case of retroactive recognition; they're voiced by Beidou (Allegra Clark) and Keqing (Kayli Mills): not quite 100% identically, yet identifiable at a blush. Then we have Melissa Fahn again tying it all together as the inimitable, perky, 4th-wall sledgehammer protagonist Neptune. If I may be so bold, she delivers her strongest Neptune performance of any Nepped dub before or since. She was a joy and a treasure, and I absolutely cherish her enthusiastic merriment. Power on, Neptune, and don't allow pesky factors like medium awareness or budgetary restrictions stop you from emceeing a rollicking grand time. Trophies are decent for this one, and that's good, 'cause it's a faux MMO - meaning, it could have demanded 200+ hours of sojourn. Nah, Cyber Nep hurls most of its trophies into the main entree. Blessedly, nothing's missable, and in my evaluation, nothing requires a soul-crushing grind, either. It may take some postgame time to hammer out the game's "over" haul of quests, but you shouldn't need to invest more than a smattering of "when will it be over" hours. Have faith: the CPUs showed mercy this time. No Lily Ranks to max, no colosseum to grind for and topple - honestly, the trophy guide suggests 20-25 hours for a full experience, and even adding some meandering around and a few bouts of photogenic ops, I didn't exceed that range too high. ^.^ (Truthfully, this platty post probably babbles too much for such a snappy, concise RPG.) One unhelpful oddity did recur 6 times during my playthrough: the in-game camera froze - as in, freezes in place, quits following the playables. Considering that the characters must traverse the game's zones to access items, mobs, and bosses, a stationary camera frustrates the task, and the player, immediately. Of note, it was *not* just me - my dear friend @Honor_Hand also began his playthrough of Cyber Nep, a few days ago, and has also encountered the glitch: the camera just...stops, stops moving, stops tracking the party, and locks into position. A quick teleport back to town solves this hangup, but notably, one must either reach a teleporter device or keep a stock of warp scrolls on hand to defeat it. On my console, the freeze tended to occur at two transitions: from cutscene back into the level geometry, or from a map's warp station to its exit point. Be wary of this, should you play this game. It's not a jolly bug. x.o Zassy's PS4-on-PS5 BC Report: Loading times noticeably shrink from PS4 to PS5, particularly that loading animation before the title screen. The framerate keeps afloat at all times, although the game's weird motion tracker kicks in anyway - unnecessarily - if the player swoops the camera with an unusual arc. If anything, the warp stations actually activate a trifle too quickly, on PS5. More than once, I attempted to step through a portal, only to "warp back" to my original location. To avert that, simply march into the center of the portal. Never skirt its edges. I'm a happy Nepper to have Nepped up Cyberdimension, and am pleased pretty well that it stands above most of its brethren - or here, sistren. Nepping is not for everybody, but amongst the stockpile of HDN sapphires, Cyber 4GO sparkles for sure. :> Nep it up, I say! - and keep your imouto as distant from Vert as believably possible. Popular Post CaptainChurrr
Platinum Trophy #129 Dirt 5 (PS4) This game was pretty fun at the start but quickly became repetitive. Most races feel the same. And some trophies were very boring. I don't have the DLC which, the last time I checked, was pricey. Platinum Trophy #130 Ratchet & Clank (PS4) This was a pretty fun game, the platinum is straightforward & easy but I think there is a bug on the trophy Super Trader. I'm not sure why it bugged on me and others but I had to start again after having 33/33 and 100% duplicates. When I played the game again, I got all RYNO cards then finished the duplicates on the next run and the trophy popped. Platinum Trophy #131 Nexomon (PS4) I really enjoyed this game. If you love Pokemon, this is a great pickup. Also has an easy Platinum Trophy as well, just be sure to check the guide as there is a missable trophy.
Popular Post reaperveteran86
Platinum #260 Super Neptunia RPG A True Hero - 33,12% Not a Top Nep, but no eggplant either. It has its positives (beautiful artstyle, story, gameplay that is similar to Valkyrie Profile) that get dragged down by the negatives (perforrmance issues, it runs like a slideshow at times, side quest design). Platinum #261 Greak: Memories of Azur Guardian of the Winds - 12,31% Stunning metroidvania with up to 3 characters to control at the same time and orchestral soundtrack. I would definitely buy a sequel to this game (if they do one).

Popular Post Pistol_WhippedXG
Platinum #2 Sniper Elite 3 Finally, after 6 years, 11 months and 2 weeks, Sniper Elite 3 is complete! This game was meant to be my first platinum, but I gave up after not being able to find a reliable coop partner and went back to Xbox for a while. Luckily with the help of this website, I finally found someone to finish this game with! Shoutout to LazerShadez_ who not only did the coop with me, but went above and beyond and helped me with the multiplayer ribbons and challenge missions he already had done. The game itself is a fairly easy platinum imo, nothing stands out as very challenging. The worst of it is probably just following a guide for the numerous collectibles in every mission. Authentic difficulty would likely be difficult by yourself, but there's a glitch in coop that makes it much easier. I believe the glitch steps are listed in the guide on here, but it re-enables your mini-map and simplifies the sniping mechanics to that of Normal difficulty. You can still die very quickly though as the glitch doesn't affect your health. Overall I'd say the game is worth your time if you enjoy stealth games and can find a coop partner. Just be warned that you need 3 people to get one of the multiplayer ribbons for that trophy. Also the Ultimate Edition doesn't even come with all the dlc, so you'll have to buy the Hunt the Grey Wolf dlc if you want 100%.
