Popular Post Megahiro10
#136: Tunic Difficulty: 3/10 Fun: 6/10 Time: 12 hours Zelda-like? NUH UH. That's what I expected but it was not a zelda like and that kinda disappointed me. Nonetheless quite the enjoyable experience. I really like the puzzle part of this game and the exploration but really dislike the combat. The trophy collection is quite simple, story trophies of course. A lot of collectibles too. Nothing is really missable but two trophies. One of them is that you die. The other to not use the coins. The rest you can get postgame. The most unique thing about the game is the manual. I heard a lot of people hating this game and after playing it, I don't get what there's to hate. You have the ability to switch each girl's class via dress spheres you find on your journey even in the middle of a fight. If you just focus on the story and non of the side quests, the game can be beaten pretty fast, however there is a trophy that requires you to see 100% of the story which there is some leeway as there's 110% worth of story to see so if you don't get it first time around and you're really close, there are story choices you can make to see the other scenes. I wish Square would use this battle system again, it was nearly perfect! There's a new part of the story called last mission which ditches the traditional turn based combat and becomes a rogue like. Even if you're bad at it, you can cheese it by getting certain equipment and level up the samurai dress sphere a lot. I did do a playthrough of both the aforementioned games though. At the end of ToD, Ratchet defeats the villain Tachyon, but Clank is kidnapped by a mysterious race of robots called the Zoni. Most of ACiT is spent finding Clank, as well as stopping returning villain Dr. Nefarious from ripping apart the universe by misusing the Great Clock. The gameplay of ACiT is great. It's a noticeable step up from ToD, which was hilariously unbalanced at times. In that game, only a few weapons ended up being useable by the last few levels (Alpha Disruptor, Negotiator) and if you got hit by even the tiniest projectile, you would lose 40% of your health, even with the best armour. The final boss in ToD is insanely tanky, unless you exclusively use the Alpha Disruptor, and then he's insanely easy. ACiT however makes basically every weapon feel useful, which is a lot more fun and encourages using them all. Enemies do fair amounts of damage too, you no longer lose the majority of your health in one hit, even on Hard. ACiT's plat is probably the second easiest in the series out of the ones I've played (easiest is Rift Apart, with its participation award trophy list). Most trophies are simply story related. Besides that, you just need to do some basic completion stuff (side missions, collectibles), and then a single playthrough of Challenge Mode/NG+ which you can breeze through in a few hours. You also need to beat the game on Hard, but Hard in this game is easier than past games in the series (which have no difficulties). No skill points needed, and you only need to level up one weapon to level 5. The hardest trophy is probably for getting 10000 points in this minigame in an arcade cabinet, which still isn't that bad and only took me a few tries. At least this platinum still feels earned, unlike Rift Apart. Overall, ACiT is another great R&C game, and now I've only got 3 plats left in the series. I'll probably play some other stuff first though. I can't think of many JRPGs that execute turn-based combat in quite the way that it does. For starters, all characters share one large pool for health and special attacks as their success and failure is all tied to the large mech tank they are operating. A trademark of the Fuga games is the "Soul Cannon", an OP attack that will perma-kill one of the 12 main characters when used, and Fuga 2 ratchets up that anxiety by randomly throwing someone in the Soul Cannon when your HP hits under half in boss fights, giving you a countdown of 20 turns before someone is gone forever. There is also a new diluted version of this attack that will temporary knock out an ally for a stronger attack at the cost of your team's XP gains. Still not something an average player would ever want to use, but the option is there. The social sim elements are pretty shallow, but still satisfying, as better relationships give you advantages in battle. The protagonists are all pleasant and cute enough that you care about them despite many RPGs executing this feature better. It took me around 45-50 hours to plat this, and I never grew tired of the gameplay loop. While the Fuga games probably don't deserve to be in anyone's Top Ten lists, if you like JRPGs, you don't want to sleep on these. These games are a passion project from CyberConnect2, the developers of several fan favorite franchises like .hack, Naruto Ninja Storm, DBZ Kakarot, the Demon Slayer games, and the JJBA games, and while they lack the built-in fanbase, Fuga stands on its own as a worthwhile franchise that deserves to be supported and praised, and I'll be there day 1 when Fuga 3 drops. Playing this game, getting to know his characters and story and all the things you can do at the moment of release probably was awesome and so new for the players, I can understand why is one of the most beloved games of the 2000 era. Playing this game right now it felt also magic. It was like going back to those old days when games were simple and straight to the point. Gameplay and combat are really fun once you get the hang of things and the story is amazing and gets your attention with all the famous characters thrown into the mix. Platinum was time-consuming but not tedious. If you love the series and want to have something special or at least 1 plat from the series this one will be the one to go for it. I like the game and want to know more from the saga so I made the jump to the next installment as soon as I ended this game. It is a straight continuation of the story of KH1. And again..... I LOVE IT! The main thing in this game is the gameplay/combat system it was changed from an action combat/hack and slash game to a card system combat. Big change but man it is fun and something different for someone expecting to the same gameplay as my case coming directly from KH1. Story and game length was shorter (BUT REALLY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS HAPPENING IN KH2). Not gonna lie getting the platinum in this one was a bit tedious you have to GRIND A LOT so be aware if you want to get all the 100% in the series. Still is doable and not impossible, I did worse grinds in my gaming story. Game Enjoyment: 7|10 Platinum Enjoyment: 5|10 Platinum Difficulty IMO: 2|10 Would you recommend this game for hunting: Check the gameplay first and be ready for some grinding. I have been debating a lot with myself about what I want my 100th platinum to be, at first I thought about making it Final Fantasy VI, but I still had to do Final Fantasy V and I was not in the mood for it. I also thought about making it a LEGO game, but that didn't feel special enough. I also thought about inFamous 2 because that was supposed to be my first platinum, but I was not in the mood for it. But while playing it I thought, Persona 3 Reload is the perfect 100th platinum for me. I love Persona, and I was having a fantastic time with Persona 3 Reload. But of course because I was only at 93 platinums when I started the game, I had to take it very slow for the game, but here we are. Persona 3 Reload's platinum has been achieved and it will always be a part of my trophy milestones. Just like previous times it is time to talk about my individual points: The story was beautiful, I do feel like I can't talk a lot about it because of spoilers, but the idea of the end of the world was really well done and when I reached the ending, I had not a lot of words I could say. I think that all that came out of my mouth at that time was "What a game". The combat was fantastic, of course it's pretty much the same as the Persona 5 Royal combat, but it had its differences that made it different enough. The Shadows idea wasn't too interesting, but that maybe because I loved that you could see what they were in Royal, if you were fighting Pixie, you would see Pixie, but in this game when you're trying to get Pixie, you see a random Shadow design. It's a minor complaint but it was there. And I do know that P5 is a modern Persona game, so it would make sense that it would improve on stuff like that. The bosses were great, the ones that I would fight while climbing Tartaros weren't too interesting (aside from the Monad Door ones) but the ones on the full moons days were fantastic, they all had their own thing that made them unique and I am all for it. The final boss was really easy, but it was a lot of fun, I seriously enjoyed it. Tartarus itself wasn't too amazing, it wasn't bad, but the whole randomised dungeon stuff didn't really do it for me. I did like the designs of some of the sections especially the final ones, but for me the weakest part of the game was Tartarus. I loved the Social Links, they all had something that made them unique, I loved folling their stories from the beginning to the end, some had a happy ending, others a sad ending but they all had a fulfilling ending and that's what I'm all for. The party was also a lot of fun, they were all flawed and that's why they were great. When I think of an Atlus game, I think of the music, the music of this game was great, I did get a bit bored of the Tartarus music, but the battle themes were great, the themes of each semester was really cool, the boss themes were awesome and that final boss theme was amazing. I have been listening non stop to that final boss theme. And I feel like that's all I wanted to say about the game, I am so looking forward to the next Persona project, whenever that may be. Obviously there's the upcoming DLC which I still need to pre-order but I am just really happy with this Persona game. And here's the platinum screenshot, it sucks, I was hoping for a beautiful screenshot. But it is what it is: Glad you enjoyed it
Popular Post Burritoprime
- Platinum 284 - Lost Sphear - Tales of Memories and the Moon - I liked this game much more that I thought I would, I'm a JRPG lover so maybe I am a bit biased here, I heard a lot of people saying that the game resemble Chrono Trigger a bit and I can see the resemblance in the battle system but it reminded me much more of Arc the Lad, specially the first 3 for PS1, and God knows how much love that franchise and wish they would release a new one or at the very least an HD collection, Lost Sphear does a good job in evoking the nostalgia feel and I genuinely like the characters and story, I got entertained until the end, but not everything was pleasant, while I enjoyed the goofy writing some dialogues were just bad, really bad, the characters feign ignorance for plot reasons, sometimes they don't react to the stuff happening, one of the main characters have a very dark turn and changes everything he was, that and a very dark past, but when he returns the characters are like "oh OK, moving on then" (......) bruh, but my main complain was some of the bosses, this may be a skill issue on my part of course but main bosses are supposed to be a trial, a harder challenge, not an obstacle, one boss opens up with an unblockable breath, similar to the Malboro Bad Breath in Final Fantasy in which it causes a myriad of negative status effects and almost immediately blows up everyone with an explosion for a lot of damage...and that was at the beginning, another one opens up with a high damaging attack on everyone which has a high chance of inflicting instant death followed by a shield he puts up that negates physical and magical attacks....if they were extra super bosses it's okay since these are made to be merciless, but having main bosses be this cheap is really annoying, anyway, despite all that I had a good time with the game, wouldn't play it again but would recommend at a discount.
Popular Post Viscera1900
#471 - Unicorn Overlord Almighty Unicorn "Obtained all trophies." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Completion time: 34 hours, 56 minutes / 1 week, 1 day (PSNP) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This was fairly enjoyable experience. I rarely play tactical RPG games, so I was unsure if I'm going to like this game. Unicorn Overlord is very colorful game with beautiful art style and has very fun tactical/strategy RPG gameplay. There are so many characters in this game, but most of them get so little screen time overall. The story is bit lackluster/generic and predictable, but it has its charm. Trophy wise it's fairly easy list to complete. Nothing too difficult here or time consuming here. It's your standard RPG trophy list; complete the story, post game game contents and upgrade stuffs and collectibles. These ladies are deciding which animal to hit next with that big hammer... Fancy attack name.... BUT IT DID NOT DO ANY DAMAGE! USELESS! Unicorn meat is delicious...🤤
Popular Post hyousai
Just got the Platinum for Another Crab’s Treasure. Had quite a bit of fun with it, and the difficulty wasn’t too bad compared to some in the genre. The hammer technique is pretty OP. My endgame build was mostly just using a medium hammer with the helmet as a shell. Stats were almost entirely ATK/RES. For stowaways, I had Sinker++ to quickly fill the knockdown bar, a Lamprey to drain health, and a Cockle to buff hammer damage. Didn’t bother much with parrying by the end, just normal block and swing. I intended for my last trophy to pop picking up the last shell, a disco ball. Unfortunately it counted the shell you put on after the final boss, so that popped early. Thus my last trophy was me shooting a giant laser crab in the face with a gun.

Popular Post kkulifay
PS5 Time for Platinum + 100% DLC: 93 hours I don’t play Borderlands for the storyline, especially Borderlands 3 because that was definitely the game’s most glaring flaw. However, similar to how I approach Doom, I play these types of games merely for my insatiable lust for over the top, stimulating “brain food”. The gameplay on the PS5 set at 120 fps was butterly smooth. It performed exceptionally well, with no bugs/glitches, crashes, etc. I would’ve completed this a month earlier but I’m currently obsessed with Fallout 76 at this moment. The plat and DLC trophies were all very easy, especially with a Moze+ Iron Cub build. I had an insane amount of splash damage, basically unlimited ammo, and lightening fast action recovery time. I was a running nuke by the time I maxed my level at 72.

Popular Post Aceterix
#339ish Excellent game, very reminiscent of fallout but with less bugs, I've heard the load times are infuriating but on ps5 that didn't seem to be a problem, story is good fun and some great choices to make... slightly petered out in the final third but not enough to detract from it being really good. Dlc's were interesting, I slightly favoured the first one which was more murder mystery like and had some great characters. I expect everyone had played it, but if not then give it a go.... immediately.
Popular Post ZooBlazer
#94 - Alan Wake Remastered The game is very dated, mostly with the mechanics. Those battles always throw horde enemies that spawn too. Just laying the backdrop to illustrate that there’s A LOT going on simultaneously. Anyway, on 120 fps it’s a spectacle and a jubilee of explosions and flames with iron cub (Moze’s sidekick) going berserk! Extremely entertaining. Popular Post ChilledBrandon
#47 - Geometric Sniper (PS5) This game was a treat. I only bought it for very cheap so I wasn't expecting anything too crazy from it. It ended up keeping me entertained for hours and I was motivated enough to go for the Platinum. The art style and concept were simple but it worked really well with this kind of game. It was fun to play through it and find the various targets. The bonus mode where it turns in to a hidden object game was really fun to complete as well and I actually spent quite a bit of time doing those. I'm not the best at finding objects so I found that mode quite challenging but rewarding. I'd definitely recommend this if you ever see it on sale, you will almost certainly get your money's worth out of it. The game itself isn't too difficult, but there was a few levels that took me a few tries to get right. Overall it's a fun platinum to get and makes you fully experience everything.

Popular Post MidnightDragon
#122 Maneater This is a self-described shark RPG game where you take on the role as a man-eating shark from birth to adulthood on a path of vengeance. You'll eat fish, whales, seals, turtles, and, of course, humans on your journey. Along the way, you'll unlock new abilities. It is a bit of a collectathon, but I've definitely seen worse. Overall the game is mindless fun that doesn't drag out for too long. It's a fun way to live out your Jaws fantasy for sure. I would highly recommend it. Popular Post disaster500
#113 - Immortals of Aveum - 12.19% Personal Difficulty - 4/10 Time Played - 23 hours Immortals of Aveum is basically an FPS where you shoot magic instead of guns. You play as Jak, a nobody in the slums of Seren, when it is invaded by soldiers from an opposing nation, Rasharn. They kill Jak's best friend, and the resulting rage greatly powers Jak's magic and he becomes a Triarch, a rare mage who can use all 3 schools of magic. Fueled by revenge, he joins the local Army in hopes to kill Sandrakk and end the war. I liked the story. It's no masterpiece in storytelling, but the game's full of fun characters, interesting ideas and some twists. The villain is presented as a generic bad guy at the beginning, but as you learn more through the game, there's some moral ambiguity for both him and your own faction, which is always more interesting imo. As mentioned earlier, the game is a magic FPS. You use three schools of magic are Red, Green and Blue, with each having their own weapons and abilities. Red is generally close range, with some shotgun/explosive types of weapons. Green is rapid fire, filling the SMG/assault rifle archetype. Blue is about precision, and are more like rifles/sniper rifles. It's fun shooting these about with the crazy particle effects they give off. My personal favourite weapons were a Green spell that's basically a minigun, and Blue spell that's a throwable javelin, which when combined with many critical damage boosts was oneshotting minibosses in the postgame. There's also some other abilities like a dash (albeit not a good one, I wish it didn't delete your momentum), a shield and some more exotic ones you unlock throughout the game. Combine these with various equippable stuff to alter stats and the three skill trees, you have quite a lot of customisation for whatever playstyle you'd like to play. Trophy list is pretty standard. Make sure to play on Hard difficulty, and be aware of the several missable miscellaneous trophies. After you beat the game, it's mainly cleanup for the Golden Chests and Shroudfanes, most of which you lacked the abilites to unlock them on your first run through the areas. The hardest part was probably a few bossfights, but there was nothing too difficult. I stayed on Hard mode after the beating the main story, and even the postgame Shroudfanes weren't too bad. The game recently got an update adding FSR 3 frame generation. I'm glad I waited for it, apart from a handful of areas I was at a very high framerate the entire game. I would definitely like to see this technology in other games, it's great if you have a 120hz VRR display. Overall, a fun game. I think it's mediocre reputation is probably undeserved. IIRC, the game released in 2023 in the middle of other major releases, which probably didn't help its case. I'd recommend giving it a shot. The first chapter sucks, after that it picks up and becomes very fun.
