Kishnabe
#56 WRC 4 Vita Just like WRC 3, a very easy platinum. Far more grindy than WRC 3. Last season is 78 races while WRC 3 was around 6. 4 Seasons vs 2 seasons of WRC 3. WRC3 you needed to win every event, however here you can relax 1 or 2 stages. Better Visuals than WRC 3. Terrible loading time....I would prefer WRC 3 shody graphics over waiting 1min between each race....and sometimes absurd 5min to load my save. Can't wait for WRC 5.
Popular Post PsychicVibe
Plat #25 Metal Gear Solid 2 Totally brutal. Great, classic game.......but took me 5 weeks of play to earn plat. 5 total playthroughs... Brutal boss fights on extreme level...... and over 500 VR missions of which some are very demanding. Lots of sneaking and peeking. On to MGS3. Edited August 8, 2015 by PsychicVibe
Griffon234
Plat #32 Shovel Knight Fantastic game, with plenty of hours of fun on end, but doing things like the 1 hour 30 mins run can get really frustrating having to start the level again due to pointless deaths for frustrating levels like the Stranded Ship, and NG+ without dying was extremely painful to do. Overall a good game
Popular Post NotAFoxAnymore
Platinum #10 - Steins;Gate (PS Vita) Wow...this game. This was my first visual novel (unless you count the Phoenix Wright games) and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I'd already seen the anime so the plot points weren't as dramatic as they could've been for me, but of course that's just due to personal experience. The only thing that bothered me at all is that a mail glitched on me or something and wouldn't unlock, but this didn't cause a major issue and it all worked out in the end. There's not much I can comment on besides the story as there is no real gameplay as such. But the story is amazing. It handles beautifully one of the things I love most from plots - being able to be funny and lighthearted whilst also being serious and dramatic. Steins;Gate does this and does both well. I just can't recommend this any higher. You should play this game, and if you don't like reading, then you should watch the anime. Also not only was this my 10th platinum, but also my 600th post Yay milestones! Edited August 8, 2015 by Akira-chan
Popular Post erickt123
#42 - Diablo III: Reaper of Souls (PS3) So after twelve years of the original release of Diablo II, Diablo III was officially released for PC on May 15, 2012 and the reception it meets is not necessarily positive as fans were highly disappointed in the game. Two years later, the expansion pack, Reaper of Souls was released which not only added an Act V to continue the main story, but also added a new game mode called Adventure Mode, which allows players to explore anywhere in all Acts to complete Bounties and be rewarded with loot and XP. When Reaper of Souls was released, Diablo III has became a much better than it originally was as well as becoming the game it should of been when the game first launched. As for the console versions of the game, while the original Diablo III was first released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 3, 2013, the expansion pack, Reaper of Souls, never touched the systems until August 19, 2014. Being titled Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition, not only would console players (PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and Xbox One) gain access to the expansion pack, but they also get to experience the original Diablo III at a more updated stance. For what the Ultimate Evil Edition is worth, there's a lot of bang for your buck to be had in this game! Introduction aside, my experience with the Ultimate Evil Edition has been very fun. I had a great time leveling up my character as I find fight against many enemies to gain loot in order to make my character more stronger. What I like the most about this game is a sense of progression, you can see your character actually developing as you play the game when you keep discovering different builds and ways to play as well as seeing how valuable some of the items can be to your aid. My favorite class has to be the Demon Hunter, as his play-style suit me the most, though I also love to play as the Crusader and Witch Doctor. After completing Act V, Adventure Mode extended playtime by an extensive amount as I personally feel that Bounties made sure the game feels fresh enough to keep playing and ensure that the feeling of doing the same objectives over and over again isn't present most of the time. I have to admit, the story is quite boring and dull, now, I'm not sure what had happened in the story with the previous Diablo games, but if this is considered a rate M for Mature game, then the story sounds like a High School play that comes off as barely interesting or laughable for that matter. Voice acting isn't much better, as at times, the game tries to be dramatic or serious when it comes to dialogue, but they sometimes don't correlate well with certain events of the game's story. But since I'm more interested in gameplay, this didn't necessarily bothered me too much, but it would of been nice to have a better story. Considering the genre of this game is of course, an RPG, I was expecting some major amounts of grinding that would result in attempting to 100% this game much less interesting. Needless to say, it was the case, but even more than what I was expecting. Completing the game's story itself is not much of a problem, go through five Acts, kills bosses, go through dungeons, kill stuff, collect gold, simple stuff. However, after getting to Level 70 by doing some Bounties and Rifts, this is where the grind officially starts. You see, the two Platinum Blockers of this game are Dream Team and Batting 500, which includes having to get all 6 classes to Level 70 and completing 500 Bounties. So while many others would use Apprentice Mode to make Dream Team not so daunting of a trophy, since I don't have many friends who own the Ultimate Evil Edition or have much time to play it (That's another story for another day, or probably never), I have to level up all the classes to Level 70 all by myself, it took around on average 30 hours to level up each character to Level 70. I couldn't imagine how much faster I could of done this trophy faster if I had actually used Apprentice Mode, but then I would be filled with frustration if I knew. As completing 500 Bounties, I would say skip the Rifts after getting their respective trophies so that the Bounties are your main focus. After obtaining the Dream Team trophy, I pretty much finished the remaining amount of Bounties I need to complete (I believe 50 left when I got the Dream Team trophy). I guess the only trophy left to mention is the Above & Beyond (Hardcore) trophy, which is to get one Hardcore class to Level 70, and if you die in Hardcore mode, it's permanent and you'll have to start fresh with a new character. However, if you pick a class like say the Crusader (Who can considered the Easy mode of all classes), then getting to Level 70 isn't half bad, and by then, you probably already have killed Diablo and Malthael in Hardcore anyways. I have no idea why I decided to do a Hardcore playthrough after doing six Softcore playthroughs as all 6 classes, but I suppose there's no reason to question myself just now. As for my experience by my 4th playthrough (As a Monk), I pretty got bored of this game and wanted to play pretty much any game at that point (Which is why I played World at War back in July to refresh myself for absolute boredom), but it was the Summer so I pretty much had to persist because their may not be another time where I could complete this game any faster. In the end, 2 months of my life has been spent just playing this one game, and without any further words to state, I was just exhausted and I really want to another game, because now, I felt as if I done everything I could do in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition (Such a long name). To rate my overall experience in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Ultimate Evil Edition, I would give it the following ratings: Difficulty (Softcore): 3/10 (There may be some struggle, but in the end, this is a pretty easy game) Difficulty (Hardcore): 4/10 (Only one life may seem threatening, but the Crusader Class negates the fear of dying in this game) Enjoyment (First Playthrough): 9/10 (Really fun and enjoyable RPG game) Enjoyment (Second and Third Playthrough): 7/10 (Still fun, but the grind is starting to get to my nerves) Enjoyment (Fourth-Sixth Playthrough): 4/10 (I would want to play another game at this point, it's becoming boring) Enjoyment (Seventh Playthrough on Hardcore): 2/10 (What was I thinking, even more so, why am I spending the Summer for this one game?!) Grind: 10/10 (This was all by myself with no assistance from anyone. I wonder how much shorter the grind would of been if I has someone to help me using Apprentice Mode...) Finally, I may complete some other games I had in mine as well as getting some games I missed out on such as Fallout 3 (How did I let this game slip by on my radar, I will never know), though unfortunately for me, two months of my time could of been spent on games I could of had the chance to play if this game wasn't my the game that prevented me from doing so. Perhaps I should take this game as precaution if I were to buy another RPG game, especially when it comes to grinding. Popular Post usrmd
Should have had this done months ago, but the insanity play through put me off for a while. I enjoyed this plat more than the first Mass Effect, as it's a tad less tricky.. but just like the first, I'm not sure I'd have been able to get a few without the guides.
Popular Post aquartertothree
#57/58/59: Sound Shapes (PS3/Vita/PS4) Difficulty: 4.5/10 Enjoyment: Death mode - 2/10 Everything else - 8/10 Not going to lie, the completion percentages had me fooled/underestimating this. Death mode was pretty rough. It was more or less a matter of patience since everything was randomized but it was really frustrating to get bad note spots for extended periods of time. I might pick up the DLC for extra trophies sometime since it's so cheap. Edited August 8, 2015 by haveabloodmuffin

Popular Post SirDave1988
#44 - God Of War : Chains Of Olympus (PS3) Above and Beyond Collect all of the trophies So, that's 5 out of the 6 God Of War platinums obtained and I'm glad I've saved the PSP HD re-releases for last as they are the easiest of the lot and it's a nice way to wrap up the story and the series. Considering this was originally a PSP game, it holds up surprisingly well on consoles. It plays as well as any of the main numbered series of games. Obviously, the graphics don't hold up so well to entries like GOW 3 and Ascension, but they do the job OK. In terms of difficulty, I actually started this game on Hard which is something I usually never do, but I heard this game was easier compared to the other GOW's, and to save multiple playthroughs, I thought what the hell, let's go for it and save for a few frustrating parts, it's wasn't too bad. Same with the challenge rooms, they were tough, but it makes it all the more satisfying when you beat them. Looking forward to Ghost Of Sparta now, which I've heard is the better of the two in this particular HD collection and then the GOW series will be completed.

Popular Post Tcjmcd
#23 - Sound Shapes (PS4) Difficultly: N/A (Although skill does come into play, the biggest factor in this game is LUCK) Enjoyment: N/A (It's hard to give an exact figure, which will be explained further below) Notes: Okay, wow. So yeah, just played through this (more like, painfully pulled myself through this mess) because it was one of the free games on PS+ (if you're reading this in the future, this is one of August's titles). Essentially, it starts off as this cool, fun, unique, adorable little platformer that quickly becomes one of the most annoying, cheap, unforgiving games I've ever played on PS4 (I'd go as far to say that it was worst than Dark Souls, at least in that game, it was based purely on Skill). Death Mode... more like, 'we're cheap fuckers' mode was literally placed in to annoy the hell out of people, especially those (me and thousands and thousands of others) that enjoy to hunt and collect trophies. Death mode (which in my mind sounded like it would be a repeat of the campaign, except you only had 1 life per level) is like these little mini-games, you have a situation, a set number of notes to collect and of course, the worst enemy of all, A FUCKING TIMER. Again, skill is required but you'll need more luck than skill my friends, you'll be repeating each of the scenarios until the placement of notes is in your favour. Pros: -Loads of Silver Trophies -Unique design -Fun Campaign -If you have the PS3 & Vita handy, you'll be able to auto-pop them platinum's should you chose to (trust me, you won't want to do it all again... ever). Cons: -Requires LOTS of luck, not skill. -The developers ran out of creativity and implemented one of the cheapest modes ever. -Short (It can be completed [the campaign] in less than 2hrs. TLDR; Don't play this game if you lack luck, honestly.
Popular Post Jennifayrie
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt #97 Yaaaay! After Installing patch 1.08 and already having every Gwent Card to hand, I sold a pair of old boots and the trophy was miiiine I absolutely loved this game! Although playing on Death March straight out the gate infuriated me quite often until I was past level 11ish but STILL no complaints, so much fun, I think I actually got quite addicted to it, and Gwent! Kind of want a gwent app on my phone Can't wait for the DLC c:
SoapMacTavish222
#152 Far Cry Classic. Overall a pretty decent game. It doesn't hold a candle to part 3 or part 4 but it also came out back in 2004 and games have come a long way since then. It was worth the $14.99 I paid for it.

Popular Post Terra Leonhart
#83 Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Despair's Last Reward Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 It's been 7 months since my last platinum. About time i got into this series. I promised myself before played this i would play Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, since it's the same developers. I was playing this while i was overseas, figured better time than any tho play this game. The characters are memorable and some you'll feel bad for as you play it more (won't tell which characters) espcially on ch2 & ch4. Trials were fun actually i loved that you got play as detective and remembering what evidence and what truth bullets you had use on the contracdictions. My favorite characters in the game were Kyoko Kirigiri, Makoto Naegi, Junko Enoshima and Aoi Asahina (as you can tell by my avatar). I'll try to play the second one ASAP.

Popular Post Gregorymany
#118 Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault The Collector After the failed attempt of changing the core gameplay of the ratchet & clank games (with All 4 one), to a more cooperative gameplay, they changed again with a more base-defense approach with full frontal assault. And again it was unsuccessful in my opinion. Don´t get me wrong, the game was not that bad, but it was far away from what i was expecting from a R&C game. Basically the focus of the game is playing online 1vs1, or 2vs2, trying to destroy the enemy base, while trying to defend yours, the problem is that even if you can get some fun playing after a while it gets boring because there is no sense of progression in the online after the match, and since almost anyone plays it, you will have a hard time trying to find someone to play it. The story is very short (only 5 chapters) and it´s not well elaborated. Still you can have some fun on the platinum, but it will not last for too long.

Its one of my favorites. #17 Was on the ps3, the day before. Same game that killed my last ps3. Dragon Age; Inquisition. I realize they are backwards.
