Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#156 Final Fantasy VII Like for a lot of people this was a huge childhood game for me as well. I remember getting it from my moms sister for a birthday or something. I had never heard of Final Fantasy. I couldn't beat the first boss and I was kinda 'meh' about the game because I was a massive noob and had never played an RPG before. I borrowed it for a friend and like two weeks later I went to his place and he showed me how to play the game. Once I actually understood what was doing on and learned how to use potions I was instantly hooked. Gotta remember I was 7-8 years old and didn't understand any english so all of these things were not so simple! Later I remember getting stuck before Cosmo Canyon because I couldn't find where to go... I didn't realize you could use the car to cross rivers. So I borrowed my memory card for a school mate so he could help me out. After that it was pretty smooth and I finished the game without much trouble. So here we are 17 years later. It's still a very impressive game. Final Fantasy IX has taken the spot as my favorite FF game, but this will always be the most important as it got me into the series and RPG games. The platinum was fun to get and I rememberd most of the stuff from my previous playthroughs years ago. I never beat the Weapons before so it was pretty fun to do this time! One more thing, I still can't stand the music in Gold Saucer...

SoapMacTavish222
#174 Wolfenstein: The New Order for PS3. I had already finished it on PS4 and enjoyed it then. So I was like "eh screw it, I might as well get it for PS3 for the platinum." It definitely looked terrible on PS3, the animation and coloring would just randomly glitch out and all the colors would run together.
Spider5786
Just got platinum number 7 which was Until Dawn, which I really enjoyed, I've also got platinum's for AC Syndicate and Game of Thrones since my last post on here.
Popular Post slash
#55 - Assassin's Creed Syndicate Master Assassin - Earn every other trophy. another year, another assassin's creed. at least it works out of the box, right? the series almost went to a point of no return for me after the atrocity that was unity. but after some solid reviews and a great black friday deal, i decided to take try syndicate out. while it still has the typical AC problems, i overall enjoyed the romp through london. the city is absolutely beautiful, and really makes me want to visit london more and more. there was definite care and love put into the design of london and it really shows. i also found the story to be much more fascinating, with jacob and evie frye both having their separate agendas but ultimately coming together in a singular cause. while i found it interesting that ubi decided to include 2 protagonists (that totally wasn't a response after the PR nightmare from last year /sarcasm), i found it disappointing that they don't play any differently. one just happens to male, the other female. sure jacob has a strength focused skill tree while evie is more stealth based, you can have evie be as vicious in combat and jacob stealthy as you like. i wish there were more missions that you had to use both in order to complete it, instead of just jacob and evie specific ones. it would've made a far more interesting assassin's creed game overall, something that the series still desperately needs. the mission that you do get to do so though...pretty epic. one of the more memorable AC moments for me. it's too bad that present day stuff was so minimal though..... all in all, it's assassin's creed. you know what you're getting into. but the addition of a grappling hook for faster movement, the sprawling city of london, and the clearly obvious direction that the story is moving towards one of the biggest events in world history (at least i hope so....if the time anomaly is any indication!), assassin's creed has my attention again.

Popular Post Myu
#27 Code:Realize Awesome visual novel with a great story and very sweet characters. In every VN, there is always this character that I hate with a passion (I'm looking at you, Okita). Here, it's quite the opposite! All the protagonists are very lovable, even the heroine who is far from the classic obnoxious no-brain type. Favorite character : Impey!

Popular Post Memowlery
FINAL FANTASY XIII-2Master of TimeMastered the timeline and obtained every trophy available. Of all my platinum trophies I'm probably most proud of this one here! I bought this game soon after its release since I was recommended to buy and play it, but I never got interested to it. Along these few years I tried to play it multiple times, but it never interested me more than about an hour. Until almost a year ago when I gave this game yet another chance. I finally beat the boss I always got stuck to and lost interest because of it, and after that I just couldn't stop playing. In the end I fell in love with Final Fantasy games. And after that happened I thought that just because of that I'd really like to platinum this game because it slowly but surely made me fall in love with this game series, but I got a bit scared of the trophies, since to me who hadn't played JRPG games before and because of that having lots of troubles with the bosses, they sounded very difficult. Finally made it though and the trophies weren't that hard after all. I spent almost 80 hours playing this game and it was all worth it. Edited December 28, 2015 by mempsis
Popular Post NotAFoxAnymore
Platinum #18 - Battlefield 4 (PS4) Already got the platinum for this on PS3, so you can find my full thoughts on the game here. The plat was much faster this time around since the online trophies auto-unlock when transferring your stats. (If I'd have completed all the DLC on the PS3 version, I would've been on the fastest achievers list ) Although, I enjoyed this a little less that on the PS3 tbh...mainly because for some reason there's considerably more grenade spam on the campaign for some reason, I felt like I was playing World at War sometimes But also because it deleted my save file after I was 3 missions in. But yeah, if you didn't read my PS3 thoughts then the tl;dr is amazing multiplayer but broken story mode. I don't use the term broken often in regards to games but fuck, if this isn't then I dunno what is. Popular Post minh2t
My 41th Platinum: VOLUME Never heard of this game before I saw it on sale on the PS store, then learning it was an easy platinum there was no reason not to get it. Turns out the game somewhat feels a lot like Metal Gear Solid's VR training. Over the 100 levels, the game introduce a lot of different gadgets and new game mechanics to keep it interesting. I think there's even a level creator where you you can make your own and post them online. It's the type of puzzle game where you don't need a guide to play, all the puzzles are simple enough to figure out on the go. Overall, great game I definitely recommend if you like short puzzles with as a bonus an easy and short platinum.

Popular Post SoapMacTavish222
#175 Man Vs Wild. Okay so I have played some pretty terrible games over the years. But I think this one takes the cake for only one reason. The last 5 minutes of the game was the most frustrating piece of shit I have ever encountered. You are riding a horse and you have to jump onto a moving train, while balancing and keeping your horse's speed matching the train. It is the most glitchy part in the whole game. I spent an hour and a half just on that part. On top of that, there is a trophy called "born survivor" where you cannot die once the entire game. Well I did the research ahead of time and found out this trophy likes to glitch, so I followed all the advice for it, quitting the game anytime I died. When I did finally get the horse part, shocker, the trophy did not pop, so I had to redo the entire game. I would not recommend this steaming turd of a game to anyone.
Popular Post Mr Incredible
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power. I have mixed feelings about this one. The Good Trine 3 looks amazing in all the levels just like the previous games before it. The ending left the the story open for a trine 4 More voice acting and a level devoted to cake and its truthyness The Bad. Only 8 story chapters and a hand full of short puzzle/ combat levels. No upgrades to be more bad ass. What you start with is that you get. Very few enemies or boss battles of any sort.

Popular Post Lilseb93
#30 - Final Fantasy 7 Difficulty: 3/10 with cheats, 5/10 without cheats. Most of the trophies require grinding and for you to fill certain requirements. The hardest part of this platinum is making sure you don't miss any of the requirements for some of the trophies. Save often. Otherwise you may have to completely start over. If you use cheats, especially the one that speeds up the game, it becomes even easier. If you farm the pots you will get to level 99 and the money trophy in no time. The hardest trophies are beating the weapons, especially Ruby. If you are high enough where you can survive his attacks and use the unlimited health cheat, then they are laughably easy. If you don't use cheats, good luck and make sure to be prepared for the fights. Enjoyment: 9/10 This still remains my top 5 favorite game of all time. It was awesome being able to experience the game again in a long time to get me prepared for the remake.
Popular Post PliskinCobra
Trophy #2000: Bloodborne "May you find your worth in the waking world" A super intense (with a lot of frustrating) ride. I'm glad that this Hunter's Dream is over, making this my 2000th trophy. Now taking a bit of break playing other game before going to challenge The Old Hunters.
