Xcom has been making me cry all day (although I feel that every death teaches me a bit more, not many games can do that), and I have been watching a lot of lets plays and this seems like a fun thing to do. I was looking at my squad and I had exactly 9 players above rookie level, so I thought it would be fun to assign you all a player. The results after drawing your names from a hat and assigning to my current 9 players are as follows: Name - Class - Rank - Current nickname A BRAWL3R - Heavy - Major (Missions 12 Kills 26) - Sledge SALT YIE - Sniper - Major (Missions 12 Kills 21) - Godfather EFF DEEGEE - Sniper - Captain (Missions 10 Kills 18) - Drifter W TRU9 - Heavy - Captain (Missions 8 Kills 25) - Road Block FERAL 611 - Sniper - Captain (Missions 6 Kills 8) - Ranger DR BLOODMONEY - Heavy (Missions 1 Kills 6) - Chilong PESE 97 - Assault (Missions 4 Kills 5) - nonickname JIAHO 24 - Support (Missions 1 Kills 2) - nonickname THE COUCHSTER - Support - (Missions 1 Kills 1) - nonickname Please know that if I have offended anybody with this bit of a fun, that I will change the name of your character straight away (and I apologize ) If not and you would like to change your nickname, then let me know and I will update your details. This would be so much better on PS4, as I could upload your epic victories, as it is you are going to have to trust my updates. My goto team at the moment seems to be saltye,effdeegee,ferall611, and a-brawl3r. Dead Weight Posted February 26, 2016 Share Posted February 26, 2016 completed the 10th level in Trine 2 CS. I like the miscellaneous trophies in the game that use the character's abilities together. I think this mission is going to be the decider of whether I have developed my squad properly. Saltyie Posted February 26, 2016 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Glad to see my name was applied to the best class in the game Reading Delboy's updates makes me want to replay Enemy Unknown, buy Enemy Within, and get a PC that can handle XCOM 2! After completing EU on the 360, and getting to the endgame on PS3, I really do think it's one of my top games of all time. I never saw any coverage on Enemy Within, I gather it's an expansion released as a full game? Welcome to the wonderful world of the PS Vita, where you either complain about the lack of games, or complain about the people who complain about the lack of games. As for RAINBOW MOON (there I mentioned it this time ) I've made it to a town in the desert, and am once again fetching random items for some random person and grinding up levels. I've finally got the passive skill granting immunity to poison on my two front-line soldiers, which significantly cuts the amount of times I have to travel back to the healer. Dozeru's defensive ability has now become so godly that he's practically immortal, taking a maximum of 2 damage for every hit he takes when his HP is around the 250 mark. (and this is including enemies that are of a higher level) Also I've encountered an odd situation where if I pause the game and exit the app, I can't access the internet, but if I leave the game unpaused and leave the app I can connect just fine. delboy_rules Posted February 27, 2016 Share Posted February 27, 2016 Finally got past the troubling Exalt mission on Enemy Within, with no casualties, although effdeegee and saltyie (my 2 snipers) were both gravely wounded and out for 14 days. I have completed a few other missions including another Exalt mission where shock horror the couchster managed to get a kill (tossing a grenade at an Exalt operative who was trying to limp away!), earning himself a promotion in the process. @saltyie - I agree the mech suits are pretty cool, but on my first playthrough I couldn't quite get the loadout right on them, to be the bullet sponges I am sure they could be. Of more interest are my 2 new genetically modified soldiers - feral611 and effdeegg, who have now been enhanced with mimetic skin (a modification I didn't use on my first playthrough). This allows the soldier to enter camouflage mode (providing that no enemies can see you when you enter it) and go scouting for enemies, not triggering a reaction from them. It should allow them to quietly collect Meld (needed to enhance your soldiers) while making sure I am not walking into a trap. I am now stuck on an alien terror attack on Germany (very difficult level) which I need to complete for panic management (cool name for a band) and only have one of my gene mods available (effdeegee) but as with all things xcom I will get there it just takes time. 4 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Couch Posted February 28, 2016 Share Posted February 28, 2016 Haven't had the time to post until now. Busy with house, school and vidga gaming to respond lol. Played a few more hours this weekend of Diablo III. I'm at the point where it started to get fun. Enemies are getting tougher, New spells are fun to use, the story is picking up and just when I'm getting into it, I'll need to put it on the shelf for the next two weeks. I'll be playing Far Cry primal for the C2 invitational and Hardware Rivals for the Casino competition. I'll definitely be going back to this after though. Due to recent promotions, now with the ability to carry 3 medkits, so maybe more healing than killing (.....maybe). I'm in no position to talk, seeing as how I haven't been playing/updating Frozen Synapse Prime much. I still feel 23/30 trophies is a pretty good start though. 23/30 is a great start. I think I have 4 trophies after playing about 6 hours.
