Popular Post Finozzi1696
Update (August 17): a new graphic comparison trailer has been released, comparing the graphics of both the PS3 and PS4 versions: Thanks to snakebit10 for the heads-up! ----------- Update (June 30): an official trailer has been released today, confirming the collection: Apparently BioShock 2's multiplayer will not be present on this remaster. Thanks to snakebit10 and Oowa for the information! ----------- Old thread: http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/02/21/bioshock-collection-rated-in-brazil/ Last September, South African retailer Raru listed a BioShock collection set for current-gen consoles only to end up taking the listing down when it made the news. We dismissed it as a rumor at the time but if a recent entry on the Brazilian rating board is anything to go by, “BioShock: The Collection” is actually a thing and it’s coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.As of this writing, the listing still appears on the rating board’s website but 2K has yet to provide an official statement. It’s also unclear when the collection is set to release. Edited August 18, 2016 by Finozzi1696
Popular Post TheYuriG
That's not your usual rating board, that's the Ministry of Justice of our country (you can see the mark on top left corner). They don't fuck around, the thing is real this time. Whoever was looking forward to this, you can start celebrating. Who don't give a shit, move along, move along, nothing to see here. FlareXV
Yuri is right, when Brazil says it true then you know its true. Who don't give a shit, move along, move along, nothing to see here. No way, Ronald. I need to tell everyone about my opinions on this because I'm a special snowflake and my opinions are so important.
FinalMiracle13
I wonder if it'll have all the DLC & all the games I'd so buy that
FlareXV
I wonder if it'll have all the DLC & all the games I'd so buy that No doubt the collection will be the complete version of the games so yes, the DLC will be there. They will probably mash the DLC trophies into the base game trophies list.
D-Tron
No doubt the collection will be the complete version of the games so yes, the DLC will be there. They will probably mash the DLC trophies into the base game trophies list. There have been quite a few remastered games where the DLC from the base game remains as DLC trophies for the remastered version. Latest example I can think of is Gravity Rush. Only example I can think of off the top of my head where the DLC was mashed into the base trophy list is probably DmC Devil May Cry.
PREDRAG-K
Yes please. Bioshock is the best game of the last gen, in my opinion.
ab4h4r4k1
In Brazil, the correct rating of a collectors edition game nowadays should be "not recommended to anyone who earns less than 2 minimum wages per month". I swear, some game's prices are kind of absurd this year...
LetsTurnJu-On
This'll be cool, only played a few hours of 1 when I was young, didn't really get into it. But I played Infinite from plus and it was good. I might pick it up, depending on the price.
Juzota
Sounds good. Just platinumed Infinite, but haven't played the first two at all. Hopefully they get rid off of the multiplayer like Bluepoint did with Uncharted Collection. Edited February 21, 2016 by Juzota
NotAFoxAnymore
I have the first game but have never played it, will probably get this instead despite knowing how every game ends
parkerdip
This is one collection I would definitely consider getting since I never got round to owning any of the games before
Hemiak
I've got all three plats on ps3 so I won't make this purchase, but I would strongly recommend it to anyone who hasn't played these games before.
delboy_rules
I don't usually play remasters as a rule (lifes too short), but the thought of bioshock on PS4 might just make me change my mind (or at least go back and finish Infinite). harsly
I've been wanting to get the Bioshock games for a long time now, and last September when I saw the news from the South African retailer about the collection I decided to hold off just a little longer, just in case it was true. So this makes me very happy.
StrickenBiged
Played all these on 360, but would definitely play again. Never 100% GS'ed them either, so getting all the plats, etc, would be a good reason to go back and experience the games a second time. Not too bothered about Bioshock 2 though. I could take or leave that. Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite though, they're essential games and definitely worthy of a re-release.
Parker
All three BioShock games in full HD running at 60fps would be an easy day one purchase for me. Parker
StrickenBiged
The collection has also been listed on the Taiwanese ratings board: Go here: http://www.gamerating.org.twand type "Bioshock" into the box. You'll see it's also been listed for XBO and PC. (Use Google Translate to change to page to your language if necessary.) Looks like its happening. I like the box art, a lot. It ties the games together nicely, even if that is a little spoilery. Remains to be seen how much work will have been done on this re-release. Hopefully it will be a remaster, similar to the treatment Uncharted received, rather than a more straight-forward port. Lol @ the "plot" being "violence, alcohol, improper speech".
parkerdip
This is a collection I would definitely get as its one I missed out on last gen. Even though I know the ending of Bioshock 1 you can't hide from spoilers forever. EDIT: Just realised I already posted in this thread and can't remember doing it Edited March 17, 2016 by parkerdip
Sofa King
I don't think my mom will let me play games with "improper speech".
Jack_Reacher94
Played the 1st previously and love it. Played infinite but was really confused by the ending. If it does come out I will definitely get it just so I can play bioshock 1 again and hopefully by playing 2 and playing through infinite again I will understand the ending Also maybe with them doing this collection, it might mean a new entry into the series say for next year? Fingers crossed
D-Tron
I don't think my mom will let me play games with "improper speech". Not to mention that, with Alchohol and Violence, It's the entire game's plot.
snakebit10
The collection has now been rated by the ESRB, http://www.esrb.org/ratings/search.aspx?from=home&titleOrPublisher=BioShock%3A%20The%20Collection&platformsCriteria=Windows%20PC%2C%20PlayStation%204%2C%20Xbox%20One I wish they would just go ahead and announce it to make it official. StrickenBiged
I wish they would just go ahead and annoince it to make it official. Screw that, just release the damn thing already. I'm ready to jump back in! My guess is they may be waiting for a dry spell in a month or two, when U4, DS3, DOOM, possibly Dishonored 2 (that's still up as "Spring 2016", right?) and all the rest have come and gone. Releasing in the next couple of months would be sales suicide.
