JokerJoe14
Why is the camera needed? Isn't it just a screen with an accelerometer and gyroscope? To track your head movements by way of the LEDs along the front
Paige-ID
Not for me - If you have a life outside videogames you can't put yourself in a position where you can't hear/ see the real world as you play. I'm sorry that you think people that can multitask/shoe-horn this into their schedule have no life. I, for one, would disagree with you on that statement. It's all about how you prefer to allocate your time.
JokerJoe14
And there is still no SAO for Morpheus planned http://www.vrmmo-project.jp/sp/The Official Website of the IBM sponsored VR MMO project - Sword Art Online: The Beginning Its real... And so it begins! Goodbye real world So if I die in game, does that mean I die in real life? Seriously though, if this were ever on PSVR I would be SO down for it. TheVader66
Well, this IS main, because it requires PS4 =D A device that requires another device so it can be used, is not a main platform device. Also weird that I didn't get a notification of you replying to my comment. Edited March 17, 2016 by TheVader66

Good to know. ^^ Looks quite unpolished atm, but its only the alpha as the article states, so that's okay I guess. Now I really wish this becomes a thing on PSVR. Well, we don't know if it's a disc or just a code =D But yea, you seem to be right. It seems to be the way. I expected VR to have its internal storage to be honest. Guess they will use PS4 to its full =D
starcrunch061
after everything oculus, vive, you still think that VR will bomb, you are out of touch with gaming, VR is not a thing to bomb, is the future, and if it won't start with psvr it will start with someone else, but it is coming either way It may be the future, but that doesn't mean that this iteration will succeed. You're kidding right? HTC Vive was twice the price and sold like 15k units in 10 minutes. Obviously the PSVR is a lot more limited, since you're bound to the playstation environment but I can imagine that at this price, it'll sell like hotcakes. Personally i'm loving the price. So what? That says nothing to sustained selling power, which is the real goal here.
xZoneHunter
So what? That says nothing to sustained selling power, which is the real goal here. So given the fact that the PSVR pre-orders are basically sold out everywhere at the moment doesn't say anything at all?
