Weeblympics #5: Monster Hunter World

Considering what MH is about (farming), I still think this game would be better without trophies. Took me about 400 hours to get the plat.

Getting all crowns were the most annoying trophies. Sorry, don't feel like writing more right now.

I noticed that Monster Hunter World isn't on my games list pretty sure i posted about adding it to my list instead of RER2 (because it got over 5%) even before MHW was out

I checked the spreadsheet and it's on your game list there with a percentage completion of 77% (which I assume will be from when the list was last updated)

Can I add MHW to my list, even though I finished it? I recall as long as the game came out after the event started, it was okay, but forgot.

hmmm.. I would like to know as well... I forgot to include Dissidia NT in my list and I am currently at 98% in it and maybe Akiba's Beat as well?

It's always best to check the spreadsheet as multiple people are able to update that for you and it's the most up to date source of the lists.  

 

Hertz has been really busy with real life stuff so the images on the first page may not be fully up to date, although he has tried to get everyone updated on a monthly basis.  I'm sure if you @ tag him with your request, the front page will be updated the next time he is online

I have Lost Song in my download list but I need to take a break from SAO. and oh, I will definitely not watch SAO Alt GGO... well.. unless they put Saorin and Kayano Ai(oh wait, she'll be Alice so nvm I guess).

 

More SnK's grindfest I guess for now (is there an option to mute one character's voice on that game?) and looks like I need to return to Disgaea 4 as well

Hmmm.. I really dunno if I will buy and play AoT2 at this point. I had fun in this game but the grind killed it + I dunno if I still wany more Eren.

 

Speaking of which, is it worth to watch the second season of AoT now? Or should I wait for the 3rd season? I remembered that I stopped watching the 2nd season when Eren was the focus of the anime again

 

And lastly, best girl is obviously... Armin

It's worth to watch the 2nd season. It was still pretty decent and it'll make you warmed up for the 3rd season in the summer.

Probably just missed it, no biggie just let me know and I can add things later if I missed something.

 

In general if you started the game after the event started (and the game counts for the event) I'll have no issues adding it to peoples' lists. It's a community event not a competition so I'm not looking to punish people for overlooking a game or something like that.

Really enjoyed this one as well, playing with the party boys is always a lot of fun. Doing the majority in 4 player as well made it much quicker in terms of grinding also which was good. Will certainly do AoT 2 at some point, but not rushing to start that grind just yet.

 

In terms of weeblympics games I've been plodding through EDF 2 on vita and will start either Deception IV, DmC 4 or Rabi Ribi after I finish Nier Automata. (I'm not good at deciding what's next.  )

Weeblympics #4 : Exist Archive

 

An enjoyable turn based RPG with a wide variety of classes within the melee fighters and typical elemental magic-users.

Multiple endings and a 4th wall crashing post-game section made this a pleasurable grind rather than a pointless one.  

Vita users be warned that it can be crash happy with the main character as Grim Reaper class which is really necessary for boss speed runs.

I really liked this game, and as far as the trophies go, it's a big pain because everything is luck related.. Still it got much easier than I was thinking when I noticed that we can save-scam to get what we want by using the auto-save/reload to know what cards show up next and to set up the conditions for most trophies.. And ya, I only learned about it yesterday..

This was my first ever Yakuza game, and my first Plat on the board for the glorious Weeblympics.

This game tested my patience from the beginning, and to hear that final trophy unlock sound was music to my weary ears.
