Hello everybody!

 

Not so much trophy progress due to playing a lot of FIFA FUT lately....will be on business travel next week so progress will be small anyway.

 

Resident Evil - Revelations 2 - PSVita

Kind of stuck with this game, hardly have the motivation to start it up and finish it. Main reason is the count down mode, having limited time to get through the levels is kind of stressful. Think I will try to finish count down mode on episode 3 and than first move on and actually finish the game (playing episode 4) before going back and doing the remainder of count down/invisible mode.

 

The Medium - PS5

Restarted the game and messed up again ?. Decided to finish it first and replay it to the point of getting the Phantom trophy (not to alert the enemy). Super nice game, disturbing story. Happy that I played it! Blooper team will also be the studio that will make a remake of Silent Hill 2.....looking forward to that!

maybe its time for the ultrare rare trophies that i have from my games like gta vice city ps2 version and devil may cry 5 and 4 i have not unlocked those ultra rare trophies yet because i found them at first to difficult and thats why i did start alot of games but its just like a boomerang in my face now i restart all of my games games like persona 5 not ultra rare but on psn it is ultra rare wich is weird though but i think to continue on my other account my primair ps4 is activated i have disc version games and digital games for to play so i have over 200 games standing but i going to finish the most of them

I have officially reached and surpassed my completion goal this October. The DLC event going on right now is 100% responsible for all the improvement I have made on my profile in the last two months. This gave me a push to finally do NG+ runs for Far Cry 5 and Ghost of Tsushima; start the intimidating multiplayer mode of GoT; 100% Cuphead, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and L.A. Noire; as well as clean-up miscellaneous games for a total of 28 DLC packs completed. I am going to continue to bust out more DLC, but I am also planning on starting a couple of new games in November. Hopefully, the cushion of 1%+ will allow me to take it easy with this challenge and make a dent in the backlog in the next two months.

i have made progress 17.52 thanks to this event i have now the dedicatio  to finish and unlocking the platinum trophie from my games maybe next year i wil finish more games and the two last months also therefore i had no dedication to finish games only the story mode but now with dedication and skill i finally getting better at gaming so all the advice i got fro you guys have definitely worked i stil play for fun but now with dedication to unlocking the platinum trophie from the games maybe i can reach my goal somewhere next year there are two months left so i going to increase my completion percentage to 25 and above

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Still haven't tackled the score attacks but did play the endurance and endurance co-op dlc modes with @papert0wng1rl. They were really fun and the random generation of the map each time made for some interesting experiences.

Spent the majority of my time re-playing this fantastic game in October. Its been over 10 years since I originally completed it on x360 and its still awesome!

I was doing pretty good and was close to 72% but started playing Overwatch 2 and not sure if by a mistake or didn't realize it, started the PS5 version so it started a brand new trophy list. I'm strongly against boosting MP trophies if the servers are still active so will probably never finish the PS4 nor PS5 list since there are heroes I don't like to play. This tanked me back a lot. Also started Century: Age of Ashes. Not that bad but another game I will very likely never 100%.

 

Finished The Medium and got a few trophies from already started games previously (Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, Helldivers, Moving Out) so made it to 71.58%. That makes it a 0.24% increase from September.

 

I plan to start a few new games and keep playing Overwatch 2 so have no high hopes I will be able to reach the set goal but at least the 5% I should be able to get to (need 0.73% for that).

Made barely any progress as I wasn't expecting it to take me all month to platinum Horizon Zero Dawn when I started it, the map was bigger than I was expecting with a ton of stuff to do (took me 55 hours to get the plat and have now only just started the dlc), thought the story and characters were a bit weak but the world is impressive and I'm looking forward to playing Forbidden West when I eventually decide to get a PS5

 

I'm also fully committed/addicted to trying to get the platinum for Tetris Effect which is where the rest of my time this month went, by far the biggest hurdle is trying to get under 1m 10s in Sprint mode, I started the month with my best time at 1m 18s and after 50 to 60 hours I'm down to 1m 12s (I'm now at 140 hours total game time with about 120 of it being just Sprint), really hope I can get it done by the end of this month because hitting 5% is very unlikely if I'm grinding this for the rest of the year

i restarted assasins creed 2 yesterday but 1 got 1 question i have usb and ps plus i want to back up my gamesave but what should i us ps plus cloud ore the usb and i have also started elden ring maybe with gamefaqs i can platinum the game because i use a walktrough guide

PS4 you can use both. I would say use cloud for automatic uploads and use the USB for manually ones. That way you have the best of both worlds.

Hi all long time no post.

 

Been a crazy last few months, between person issues, work and just needing to take a break it took a while for me to start gaming again.  So I think moving forward I am going to do monthly updates instead of weekly.  For October I managed to make some more progress in trails of cold steel 4, I think I am close to halfway.  I happened to catch some boosting sessions for Army of 2 4oth day before the servers closed.  So I was able to clean up the MP trophies, I still have a single player trophy of kill 6666 enemies, such a grind.  I also managed to find someone with a Nat 1 connection on mercs 2 so I could connect to them and get the last 2 trophies I needed in co-op for the plat, though I haven't sync'd them to the server yet so they won't appear here.

 

I am making some progress in reaching the goal, which i think might still be possible for me, if I get my lazy butt in gear here.  Though if I don't I only have myself to blame.

 

 

Great Job to everyone so far, I have been checking in from time to time but keeping low key.

October ended up being a pretty great month for me. On the 1st day of the month I platinumed Up and then I finished off BioShock Infinite's DLC's for 100% completion in it, that's what I call a good start. The next game on my hit list was LEGO Dimensions, it was unlock any other LEGO game I had played and while I wasn't the biggest fan of it, it was decent. Took about 2 weeks for me to get through and platinum it, plus do 2 of the DLC packs. If the opportunity presents itself, I'd like to 100% it. After Dimensions I was quite eager to play something in the vein of Halloween so I bought inFamous: Festival of Blood, it was a quick and short game that was pretty good, after all, it's always fun playing as a vampire. Next up was a game that I knew would be a time sink which is of some concern as I am trying to reach that 5% overall completion increase but it is also the my best bet to do so, Fallout: New Vegas.

 

Fallout 3 was my first Fallout game and I looked forward to doing New Vegas a lot, but I wasn't able to get the game until well after the Ultimate Edition came out. When I finally did get to it I got frustrated with it a couple hours in due to lost progress and put it down until this year. This time I was able to really dig into it and revel in the apocalyptic wasteland many of us know and love. For 2 weeks I was making terrific  progress, near the tail end of that time, I went to Walmart and happened to find a PS5 sitting on the shelf, just waiting for me to buy it, so naturally I obliged. Luckily, it was a Friday night so I was able to play Astro's Playroom for an hour or so and just revel with my new console before going to bed. I woke up Saturday and played through all of Astro's Playroom for my first of many PS5 platinums. After that I went back to my PS3 and managed to get several more trophies in New Vegas, bringing my total to 40/76. I had decided to work on some of the DLC's next before finishing the campaign then tragedy struck. My PS3 stopped reading my game discs again... That night I looked up a Youtube video on how to clean the lenses - an hour and a half later of disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling, it still didn't work.  I'm looking to see if any local electronics stores would be able to fix it so fingers crossed as I'd really like to finish off New Vegas this year if possible.

 

That tragedy aside, I had 1 day left in the month and I was set on earning at least 1 trophy for each of my consoles so I played the prologue mission of The Elder Scrolls Online, which I had to Google where the hell to go to start the dang thing. o_O But, I got it done, giving me 137 trophies for the month. This month had it's ups and downs but it ended with me knocking on the door to that 5% completion increase.

 

While I'm here, here is how my 1st week of November went.

I spent 2-3 hours working The Elder Scrolls Online to get the Ultra Rare Trophy, Indecent Exposure (Have stolen clothing from all your armor slots repossessed at the same time by a guard.), it was unreal how long it took to find a belt to steal. Like really!? It's a belt, why are these so rare! The rest of the week I didn't play much as I was still sulking over my PS3, but this weekend I managed to force myself through a speedrun of Resident Evil 7 by following one of Optinooby's excellent guides. It netted me 4 trophies and I am now pounding at the door of 5% completion with a mere 0.01% away from this goal! Have good week folks!

So close to making back the minus....

 

Not much progress story-wise in Inquisition, most of the early part of the week after my cowardly turning down of the difficulty to advance the storyline has been spent finally getting to grips with the combat, skill trees and whatnot - something I should have done a lot earlier than 20 hours in. Polished off a few of the numerous sidequests as well, so feeling slightly more confident about the rest of the game but still a long way to go, I'm sure there'll be plenty of hurdles on the way.

 

To break things up a bit, and because of the server closure at the end of the month, I started Onrush. Great fun - although it took a lot longer than it should have to get out of the racing mindset and into a causing carnage and destruction one. Decent progress trophy-wise, although by not looking at the challenge requirements earlier than I did I've probably given myself more work than I needed to - my lack of planning and preparation when it comes to trophy winning is developing into a running theme. Still, when you're a jeep and you get to ram motorcyclists into walls, that's much more fun than coming up with a popping trophies plan. Trophy list shouldn't be a problem to finish off in the next week or so, although by the looks of some of the requirements needed I may need to rely on co-op help for a couple. We'll see how the next few days go. Well worth a shot if you picked it up on Plus btw.

Got a $25 PSN card as a gift so I picked up Dragonball: The Breakers. Then I used what was left to nab a few Ratalaika games from the current sale. So my % dipped some more from starting DBTB, but then the quick plats boosted me back up. Still playing Deathverse as well even though I know I'll never get that 100 wins trophy. But most of my game time has been spent leveling up guns in Modern Warfare II. Mostly playing Invasion with the "bad" guns and then jumping into regular MP to use the good ones that get unlocked. I'll finish off the campaign and co-op missions eventually, but for now I'm enjoying the gun grind.

A bit of slow progress last couple of weeks, my fault for getting carried away with Season and Event stuff in Destiny 2, managed to get the event title ‘Ghost Writer’ whilst it was around but did eat into playtime considerably.

 

Alongside I managed to spend a bunch of evenings and mornings on Persona 5, which I finally finish a playthrough of!!! What a great JRPG - it’s a slog due to not being action packed so just be prepared to spend near 100 hours if you read everything to get the true ending. I swear I though it was over and I had like 20 hours more ?. I’ve decided to park the game for a future platinum, want to get Final Fantasy X done before it and need a long break before returning.

 

So where next? I’ve decided Bloodborne will be my 50th plat, so going to shoot for Borderlands 2 now and expect Final Fantasy XIV to be either 48 or 49 depending on how quick Borderlands 2 is. Hoping I may actually reach 85% by end of the year if I can focus a little now.
