That said, I also very much doubt the lists will be separated on PS5. EDIT: nvm, the online came a month later but was still part of the list at launch. Still not the most compelling evidence aside from the fact that Rockstar just want to squeeze their base for every penny. They're simply saying it because, for example, Killzone Shadow Falls one online DLC had a separate DLC list whereas RDR2's Online only application shares the list. It's not wild. As long as I can auto-pop them by transporting my save and my online character, that is good enough for me. Honestly I just hope there are new trophies.I know a lot of people don't want that but honestly, GTA online is fun but after so many hour in it it doesn't feel too rewarding on its own. This^ Whilst it's not unheard of for lists to change to change after being uploaded, this game is out in 24hrs so there's absolutely no chance of the list suddenly splitting in two and becoming separate entities for the SP and MP modes. I am even wondering if that's against the policy from sony publishing the games. Should each purchase with entire game offer a full list of platinum trophy list? Sure OL is free now, what about three months later? People who buy story only won't be able to achieve the platinum? There are people like me who never play OL. Looks like I will skip this time. The trophy list rule book (which was never very clear) went out the window years ago so it's essentially a free-for-all now and devs can do virtually whatever they want (except time limited trophies attached to seasonal modes), regardless of what trophy hunters may think or want. Two lists would give the freedom to keep adding trophies to GTA Online as long as updates are released. Even including trophies for previous updates (especially big ones as The Contract or the Cayo Perico and the Diamond Casino heists) in order to engage players with previous content. I guess it was to hard for them to separate and maybe add at least some new trophies. Now came out that youre forced to buy the SP part to play director mode and editor because the online standalone doesn't support them. Nice "standalone". So what if someone likes to make clips with online characters only and perhaps save more space for clips removing the SP part? R* clearly didn't think about this.
