On my second list I just finished Life is Strange: True Colors. I didn't think it was as good as the first game but it was still enjoyable enough. There was also a guide for Trackmania published which rates it at 9 or 10. It would be nice to use it as a 10 somehow but I don't think it matters that much. The addition of those two games earns me 5 more badges: Mad Skillz, Murica, One Trick Pony, PS5 Master, and Masochist. I'll earn Series Conqueror and Overachiever once I finish Ryza 2. On my third list I finished Puppeteer which is a game I never would have played if I hadn't needed a PS3 game that also was an award winner. The game has a lot of charm as it's set as a stage play and the characters know they're actors. That's definitely the high point of the game as the gameplay is pretty simple and is comparable to LittleBigPlanet. Shoutouts to the award winning guide here too. The game has a lot of collectables and the guide is immensely helpful in getting them all. Remake since it was a cult classic on the PS2 which I never got to play back then. Unfortunately the game didn't live up to the expectations. I believe the game even said it would be offensive to new audiences since the original's humor was from a time before last month, but I wasn't offended in the slightest nor did I laugh even once, which is a loss on both ends. I guess @Rebourne07 means that you either should have an psn account which is younger then 3 years, or if you have a profile with over 90% completion it would be hard to even find a game which is incomplete on your profile and you will get the badge after your first List completion. I was going to opt out of the optional badges and focus only on fulfilling the main challenge as I didn’t want the badge challenges “steering” too much on which games to play, but I guess there’s no harm in earning them if they happen to fall under the games that I’ve chosen. If you have an interest in this game and jump scares are your thing, then wait until you experience the Alien come crashing down from the vents like its own version of the Kool-Aid man lmao. The game as a whole is comparable to Outlast 2…the first-person view mode, the horror, darkness, tension, stealth heavy and violent death animations. There is a “permadeath” related trophy to it, but is a more watered down version because of game save exploits that can be taken advantage of and not actually having to do it in one sitting, unlike Outlast 2. Gameplay wise A:I has an edge over O2 (and other similar horror walking simulators) since there is an actual combat system that involves killing/destroying enemies. I find A:I to be a fantastic addition to the Aliens franchise alongside its well-received films. In the past I always avoided using guides and even now I tend to only use a guide after my first play-through of a game. But after reading some guides for Demon Souls and completing it during my PS3 clean-up last year the style has clicked. I find them less frustrating than I did in the past and generally see them now as harsh but fair.
