Popular Post Thedah
Third game in tier 1 done! Senko no Ronde 2. It's a fighting game combined with shmup elements. Pretty interesting game. Hardest part of the platinum trophy is to clear Story Mode on default settings. There were 3 fights where I had trouble with. 2 fights where you have to survive on the highest difficulty until timeout while damaging the CPU until they are at zero health but without killing them. And 1 fight against the final boss. Since there's so little information about this game it took me awhile to figure out a strategy to clear the stages. I somehow got the fastest 100% time to clear as well.

Popular Post Together_Comic
Tetris Effect is done. This one has been a bit of a white whale for me. After being stuck with one mode left for the SS rank for over 3 years, I finally put aside my 7-1 stacking and learned 6-2. That made enough of a difference to get me over that final second barrier. 4 more to go for this tier.

Popular Post Koro249
Tier 1 Update: 2 new games to add to my Tier 1. MX vs ATV All Out: not much to say here, as others pointed out before, there is no real reason for this to be ultra rare. There is also nothing like a story, you just have to do like 200 races and can do them on the lowest difficulty so it just becomes a silly little grind. I guess you can say that the bikes control well? I haven't really played many other games of this type but it was nice being able to control the bike and the driver separately to allow for some precise moves. You also have to collect 100 sprockets in some smaller open world areas. That was quite fun as they were usually high up in the air and easy to see, so the challenge was in finding the right angle to jump up and claim them in mid-air. I also really disliked the dubstep soundtrack but hey, to each their own.Enjoyment: 5/10, Challenge: 2/10Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City: The next installment in my quest to finish every Resident Evil trophy list, and for once - an ultra rare one! The game received very bad critics when it came out because it was nothing like the other Resident Evil games and has pretty much no meaningful story/ character development. But personally, I think if you look at it as its own game and disregard some of the downsides, it can be a fun coop shooter, where you mow down hordes of zombies - which is what they intended with this game anyway. That being said, the story is really short (~5 hours) and the DLC are in large parts just the same story missions but with other enemy placements and this time you start at the end and make your way to the start ?. Looking at the Ultra Rare part, you have to get S+ ranks (requirements for kills, deaths, time and collectibles) on all 7 missions on the highest difficulty. For me personally, this hit the sweet spot from a challenge perspective, as you had to stay focused throughout the entire mission but you wouldn't fail so much that it became frustrating. I did however have to deal with a lot of PS3 jank, dying for reasons outside of my control or having entire groups of zombies not spawn in at all. The worst part was meeting the S+ requirements in missions 6 and 7, but getting only an S rank regardless a couple times. Anyway, not as terrible as they make it out to be and my first PS3 platinum!! Enjoyment: 6.5/10, Challenge: 5/10 Edited February 19, 2023 by Koro249
Popular Post Walt the Dog
Brain Challenge: 100% (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/313-brain-challenge/Wdog-999) Considering the rarest trophy in this stands at a whopping 0.28% (tied for second rarest on my profile), this was far easier than I expected going into it. I knew most of it could be trivialized with a camera, but even the few parts that aren't cheeseable that way (mainly Bouncing Ball and Encase) took me a couple tries at most. Really, the main issue with this was just dealing with the fact that I had to support my phone with my pinky the whole time to one-hand it and have my other hand on the controller, meaning I could only play for so long at a time before my pinky started giving out. The online grind is definitely a different story as it really is a 200+ hour experience, though thankfully it can at least be turboed. Main reason it took this long for me to finally get to it is because due to needing the start button to start matches, I needed either a turbo controller that could turbo that button or a CronusMax/Zen to create a macro for the task of alternating between that and cross. While I had the Cronus Zen for the job since a while ago, I never bothered actually opening it up to try it out until now. While I had to fiddle a bit with learning how to make the script to automate the task, it was a pretty simple setup once I did figure it out and from there, getting the three online grinds done was merely a waiting game of about a week for Card Game, a day for Time Attack, and a couple days for Snatch Game. Only real issues from that point were just dealing with the occasional disconnect from the two PS3s getting antsy about being connected for days on end (an issue I knew about from doing the Eva pachinko where I'd sign in to PSN on the PS3 only to notice a few days later that it signed out for no apparent reason) and also a particularly nasty glitch I had right towards the end of the Snatch Game grind where the game refused to believe that one of my consoles was connected to PSN at all, which was a pain to fix. In any case, not really sure how I'm gonna manage to top a 0.12% completion any time soon, especially when I'm not exactly a pursuer of hard 100%s.

Two URs from that alone, one of which is likely to haunt your Rarest Trophies section for the forseeable future, and you're looking at maybe 6-8 hours to get it done at worst (very rough estimate, hard to judge when I had to play this in hour-or-less-long spurts due to pinky pain ). You can do the two hardest minigames (Bouncing Ball and Encase) pretty much from the start since the former is the starter Focus game and the latter is the DLC Focus game, so you can pretty much start with the worst part and see from there if you can get that done to justify the rest of the single player. Popular Post DrunkenEngineer
First game down for my Tier 1! And a bounty to boot ? The Evil Within Dopey melodramatic survival horror storyline with sort of rubbery controls, but outstanding environments and monster designs save the day. AKUMU mode is really more annoying than anything; there are so many speedrun guides available that this mode is more of a exercise in perseverance rather than pure skill. Very fun game though, and I enjoyed the 3 playthroughs needed to 100% the game. The DLCs were something else, they definitely didn't feel tacked on. The final DLC, where you play as one of the major bosses, was especially cool. This is a bit of a long one, clocking in around 45 hours if you use guides. Speaking of which, check out Jigzaw_Killer on YouTube for all the good tips and tricks! Edited February 20, 2023 by DrunkenEngineer
Popular Post HaserPL
#Update Payday 2 (PS3) is done, and another bounty is off my list. I really liked this one, despite the roughness of the version. So much so that my team decided to make a proper trophy guide for the PS3 version, as the one that's currently on the site is missing a lot of things that would have helped us to finish the game a lot faster. @Copanele by the way, Dead Nation is worth 10 points according to the Most Wanted list, not 5.

Popular Post kraven_15
Injustice - 0.28% - 100% completed Ninja Gaiden SIgma 2 - 1.87% - 91% completed Unreal Tournament 3 - 2.37% - 42% completed Yakuza Kiwami - 3.30% - 0% completed XCom 2 - 0.37% - 1% completed First one down for the year is Injustice: Gods Among Us on PS3. I quite enjoyed this game. Aside from the monster grind to level 100 (which thankfully can be turbo controllered), the majority of the game is quite reasonable. The main blockers for the platinum are the 3 stars for all Star Lab missions and complete all Battle modes. And even among these there are only a handful that are excessively difficult. The MAX battle, for example, requires you to beat 10 characters in a row without dying on the hardest difficulty. It's absolutely ruthless and there are a few characters that can certainly ruin your run. For me they were Catwoman, Flash... mainly these two actually. Others like Lex and Doomsday can be annoying, but not like Flash and Catwoman. Anyway, I was pretty lucky on the run I finished it. I highly recommend the Solomon Grundy combo, it's very helpful but don't be under some misconception that knowing it will allow you to cheese this mode because you will still get destroyed many, many times. I can personally attest to this Anyway, great fun. A worthy Ultra rare for sure
Popular Post dieselmanchild
Tier 1 SteamWorld Dig - (0.95%) The Evil Within - (3.97%) - BOUNTY! WipeOut Omega Collection Tennis World Tour 2 Trine 2: A Complete Story ===== #311 - The Evil Within ===== The evil has been purged! ?? I started dipping my toes into the survival horror genre a couple years ago with some of the old school Resident Evil games, and since then survival horror has become one of my favourite genres of games to play. The platinum journeys are always fun and challenging. The Evil Within had been on my radar (and in my backlog) for some time now, and I was really looking forward to checking it out. I was aware of its reputation, and the connection to “the father of survival horror” Shinji Mikami, as well as it’s inspiration/connection to Resident Evil 4, a game that I played last year for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed. I was also aware of its reputation for being quite a difficult game. When I saw it on the Q1 Bounty list, I knew the time had come and that I needed to have that platinum in my collection! I’m really glad I ended up getting around to this one because it ended up being one of the best survival horror experiences I’ve had to date. The game excels in that old school survival horror way of making the player feel powerless and up against hopeless odds. It delivers a brutal and punishing experience. Movement is slow and kind of clunky, resources are extremely scarce, and death and danger lurks around every corner. The atmosphere and various set pieces and environments were all really well done, creating a dark, brooding setting and coating it all with a thick layer of dread. The story was also quite interesting to me. It’s very vague and dreamlike and plods along with that typical Japanese flavoured wackiness where you never really know what the hell is going on at any given time. But the DLCs where you play as Kidman ended up being a welcome addition as they explained so many things about the story and answered a lot of questions I had. In terms of trophies, The Evil Within offers a decent challenge. This game is infamous for it’s “Akumu” mode, the highest difficulty setting where you die in one hit to absolutely anything in the game - enemies, traps, environmental hazards etc - and this was certainly a big challenge! But I found my first Survival difficulty/No Upgrades run to be almost as challenging, and it ended up being great training for Akumu. On Akumu you can at least upgrade your weapons and stamina. On my Survival run, I actually fully ran out of ammunition by Ch.12 and was hanging on for dear life at that point, having to be extremely strategic and literally make every single bullet and resource count because they were so scare. It was tough, but awesome! To cap it all off, I did the 5-hour speed run trophy with the extremely overpowered Brass Knuckles melee weapon (the reward for beating Akumu), and running through the game as fast as I could, punching everything to death in 1 hit was such a damn fun way to end the game after the gruelling challenges prior to that. I’m thankful this game was included in the UR Cleanup this year and happy to claim my first bounty! Popular Post tony_snake_24
Another one down: I finished the PS5 version of Rumbleverse in record time. It took less than 2 hours as I boosted almost everything, but it could have been even less if I had boosted an additional two trophies. There's not much to say that I didn't say already in my post for the PS4 version, but I would recommend actually playing the game for the trophies if it were not shutting down in 2 days and 17 hours. Also, while grabbing the picture I realized the game doesn't have UR trophies anymore, but since it was written in the tier 1 before, when it did, it will count. And finally, I decided to go for the NA stack of Dreadnought a while back, which is unusual for me since I normally do platform stacks, not regions. You need to do the hardest trophy again, some misc. trophies too and 1 more of everything else. I'm only missing the 1000 matches, at 500 now. Popular Post Walt the Dog
Real Farm (PS4): 100% (https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/6759-real-farm/Wdog-999) This was... an experience to say the least. Incredibly easy plat since it's basically just filling in plots using farming attachments for several hours alongside some miscellaneous stuff that a guide can make simple enough to understand, but the jank definitely colors the experience. Heading up most of the jank is the godawful physics for the attachments which, as one Steam reviewer so elegantly put it, feel like they're attached with a bunch of rubber dildos. This leads to some incredible instances of your attachments just flying up into the air without a care in the world or swinging wildly from the back of your tractor like they're constructed of bouncy balls instead of solid metal. Considering how incredibly monotonous the platinum is, part of me could almost appreciate the horrid physics as I'd occasionally get a laugh out of say, my tractor spinning wildly out of control because a folding attachment got hooked on a tree or the water tanks deciding to randomly teleport around my tractor because a tiny rock looked at it funny. The handling on the Q-Bike (basically a quad and the least expensive vehicle in the game for general moving about) was also a sight to behold as turning too much would make it do more than a 180 on a dime and you could very easily go flying because you took a mild hill too fast or you brushed up against a wall. Unfortunately, the glitches are not limited to shitty driving as there's also issues like jobs being impossible because there's not enough land to treat to fill up the bar all of the way, the shitty driving making way for your vehicle flipping over at which point it's FUBAR because there's no way to flip it back up, and even a rather nasty glitch where FPS drops can cause your save to corrupt unless you close the game before it can save (thankfully only dealt with this once and I knew to exit beforehand). Nothing that makes the game unbearable by any means (except maybe that corrupt save glitch if you don't know how to avoid it), but it's certainly annoying and to an extent, I can understand why this is UR considering the average person would probably bail the moment they realized the game is effectively a glorified coloring book where you paint rectangles shiny and/or brown. Also as a treat, a sampling of the godawful physics...
