Popular Post OzaXD
#13 Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Quick little update to round off the year! I currently did not have any difficult FPS games on my profile so I thought it was about time I add one to the pile, so the notorious Wolfenstein 2 was a no-brainer. While I am not new to the genre as I was primarily a PC player prior to picking up my PS5, I have next to no experience playing FPS on console. I knew the initial learning curve was going to be rough so I paced myself a bit by starting the prior 2 Wolfenstein releases before New Colossus. It's safe to say after completion of all 3 games I still suck... Thankfully due to a collective effort on this game over the past 5+ years from multiple users, the once was behemoth of mein leben has been broken down into some EXTREMELY easy to execute strategies making the game more of a carefully planned marathon than having to execute multiple difficult sections. The game is still quite punishing especially if something goes wrong but after a few attempts of main leben you learn the more inconsistent sections and are able to practice them in a separate save file. Sadly the most difficult and inconsistent part for me was the final boss fight which I actually lost an attempt to a few days prior to completion due to an enemy grenade I didn't see or hear which was quite heartbreaking. Completing a mein leben run is also required for each DLC although luckily for all of the 3 DLC's they are broken up into 3 different "episodes" and you only need to complete episode 3 of each DLC for the trophy, making 2/3 of them extremely easy to do. A pretty slow 2023 for me in terms of completions but I'm happy with a few of the more difficult games I knocked off this year. I recently picked up a PS3 so it's likely my first few UR completions of 2024 will be catching up on some older games I never had the chance to play! Best of luck in 2024 everyone! ❤️ Tier 3: Spoiler Tier 2 (complete): Spoiler Tier 1 (complete): Spoiler Edited December 30, 2023 by OzaXD
Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Tiers 6 and 7 - Complete! Strafe (0.72%) - After enjoying Ziggurat earlier this year, I thought I'd give Strafe, this old-school inspired FPS-roguelike a spin, but the results were... kind of a mixed bag. In shooters of old, you were often made to feel like a juggernaut that could shred to pieces anything that stood in your way. In Strafe, even when you're armed to the teeth, you tend to feel weak and defenseless. If you find yourself surrounded by enemies, it's not exactly the time to jam out to heavy metal tunes as you rip and tear. You'll probably just die. Strafe is a game where playing it annoyingly safe is a must. Funnel pursuing enemies into bottlenecks, snipe from long distances, and save scum after every floor. It all feels at odds with the spirit of the genre and I often wished I could just fire away with reckless abandon. The game features a number of intimidating trophies with requirements like "beat the game in under 40 minutes" or "beat the game without a primary weapon", but nearly all of these can be earned without much difficulty once you've built a teleporter that can take you from the beginning of the game straight to the final zone. Several other trophies encourage a deep dive into the game's cryptic side with a number of obscure easter eggs that require a guide (I'll link the most helpful one here). By the game's end, I felt little in the way of pride and more like a rat that crawled its way out of hell through happenstance. Sonic Unleashed (2.12%) - 3D Sonic never fails to make me feel like a kid again. All at once, I'm in front of the CRT with the big yellow spot we accidentally made with magnets and arguing with my brother over who's turn it is to play. Where Sonic Unleashed shines, quite fittingly, is in its "Daytime" stages. While Adventure 1, 2 and Sonic Heroes helped lay the groundwork, Unleashed charges ahead with all the refinements that makes 3D Sonic so addictive. You race through stages at blistering speeds, blast enemies enemies away with flashy homing attacks, and amass a never-ending hoard of rings. Now, the reason most people hate Unleashed is because of the "Nighttime" stages featuring Werehog (Sonic as a werewolf). At night, Sonic is slower and clunkier, so the game shifts towards something more akin to a puzzle/brawler hybrid. You can get away with mashing to get through almost every combat encounter and the puzzles never amount to much more than lever pulling or key collecting. It feels a little like playing one of those off brand movie tie-in platformer games. The trophy list ramps the difficulty of these seemingly tame offerings up considerably though with its inclusion of "Hot Dog Stand Missions." These missions involve deathless runs through 10-20 minute Werehog levels, tight speedruns of the Daytime levels (the times were difficult enough that I often had to watch videos to learn more optimal routing), and an assortment of other objectives. It's much harder than you'd expect for a Sonic game, but also really dang fun. Wait until you see the horrors of Eggmanland... Quantum Conundrum (0.24%) - It isn't often that I get to feel "smart" while playing a puzzle game. Where games like the Witness or the Talos Principle scramble my two brain cells into a hopelessly sorry soup, Quantum Conundrum felt like a reassuring group hug. Each level in Quantum Conundrum involves a bit of first-person dimension hopping. You have four dimensions, introduced gradually, that affect the weight of objects, the gravity of certain rooms, or the rate at which time passes. You'll get used to things like surfing furniture, picking up impossibly heavy objects, and nimbly leaping around a host of things trying to kill you. The reason some of this game's trophies are so rare has to do with a series of optional goals in each level where you either need to be incredibly fast or minimize the number of times you switch dimensions. Some of the time-based goal are ridiculously tight (especially in area 1) to the extent that you'll wonder if legitimate speedrunners were involved in figuring out the perfect times to challenge players with. The goals based around dimension shifts similarly challenge you to optimize your routing or even skip sections altogether. I had a ton of fun completing these challenges for the base game, but the DLC maps were a different beast entirely with levels that often feel needlessly obtuse and hastily put together. If you miss games like Portal and want something similar to soothe the soul (a lead developer on Portal directed the game!), check it out! Mamorukun Curse! (2.30%) - I'm going to ramble a bit here because I played this entire game incorrectly and feel like letting off some steam. Mamorukun Curse is a brutal PS3-era shmup with cutesy characters, diabolical enemy placement, and bullets that do the whole "hell" thing. Crucial to this story, Mamorukun Curse's gimmick is the "curse shot" which can wipe all bullets from the screen, drain the health from enemies, and power you up with a temporary overcharge in firepower. The most important use of the "curse shot", as you might imagine, is clearing away enemy bullets. How I chose to play the game, from start to finish, involved tapping the curse shot button once in an empty area of the screen to clear the screen of bullets and then waiting through a brief cooldown period to use it again. By tapping the curse shot button you also leave behind a little cursed circle that you can step into if you want to power yourself up (helpful in a pinch though it extends the length of the cooldown). However, as the PST guide points out, "A good technique that should be mastered early is charging the curse shot just long enough so it won't stay on the floor and then firing it in a direction away from any larger enemies. This will clear the screen of all bullets without triggering a cooldown on the shot." While I knew you could charge the shot for greater effect when cursing enemies, I never knew you could use it to avoid triggering the cooldown until I organically stumbled onto this fact while grinding out the last of my million candy pieces (a requirement for another trophy). So, how did I play the game then without this crucial bit of info? Well, I pause-buffered my ass off during every single cooldown, that's what. Like my experience with Astebreed earlier this year, I took advantage of a genre-specific exploit to cheese my way to the platinum and it's unfortunately hard to feel any satisfaction as a result. To dig a little more into the game's trophies, you're asked to: complete story mode, complete seven 1CCs in arcade mode (one with each character), complete a 1CC on arcade mode's hardest difficulty, complete a perfect hitless run of arcade mode (any character), and, finally, complete all of the Netherworld Adventures which are essentially much harder remixed versions of the same stages you've seen in the arcade and story modes. It was smooth sailing through story mode and the 1CCs until I reached the Netherworld Adventures where the game began to wipe the floor with me and pushed me into resorting to my aforementioned pause-buffering tactics. Weighed down by my curse shot misconceptions, pause-buffering felt essential to weaving through all the enemy bullets in some of the hardest Netherworld events like "God of Death's Requiem", "Evil Spirits of Nature", and "The Atonement of Sheep" (especially brutal). My struggles aside, Mamorukun Curse is an excellent game. Each stage is colorful and creative, bosses are menacingly complex and full of surprises, the music is cheery and fun, the story's serviceable, and the challenge stands tall among some of the most notorious PSN shmups out there. If you're thinking about playing the game, take my experience as a cautionary tale and take the time to learn how to properly use the curse shot! Thank you to @Fleks_Mhteam for recommending this one awhile back! Retro/Grade (0.33%) - Retro/Grade is a game about undoing your accidental destruction of the space time continuum to the beat of some funky electronic tracks. As the developers describe it, it's more or less "a shmup in reverse." Instead of firing at enemies from left to right like in a traditional shmup, you have to position your ship in such a way that you "catch" the bullets your past (future?) self fired while avoiding the similarly reversed enemy fire. It can be disorienting at first, but you grow accustomed to the chaos with time. A video of the game can give you the gist better than I can, but the star of the show where this event is concerned, the trophy list, pulls no punches. You're expected to earn the "Astro Admiral" ranking on all 10 songs on all 5 difficulties which essentially involves a full combo with no damage, misfires, or rewinds. Some of these tracks on the hardest difficulty, X-treme, are nightmarish. I spent hours practicing levels 7, 4, 2, and 1 (since you're going back in time, level 7 comes before 4, and so on with 1 as the final level). There's a challenge mode that mixes up the action with some fun, gimmicky additions to the gameplay, but the core challenge lies with your pursuit of the "Astro Admiral" rankings. Unlike the other games in this list. the physical dexterity required to 100% Retro/Grade is quite high because both your left and right thumbs are going to have to be capable of tapping at high speeds all while remaining in sync with each other. Every motion of the ship requires a tap of the dpad (either up or down) and every bullet you "catch" involves a tap of . At high speeds, it's easy to get overwhelmed and longer play sessions can literally leave your fingers numb (mine were anyway). If you're looking for a serious test of your rhythm prowess, consider checking this one out! Redout 2 (0.46%) - Perhaps the toughest game in my 7th Tier, Redout 2 is a monstrous anti-gravity racer in the same vein as Wipeout and F-Zero. The game's career mode spans 300+ events across 36 reversable tracks and features a handful of events that require hours of practice to overcome. Specifically, there are three brutal time trials near the end of the game that will have you spiraling in the nearest corner of your residence. I'll link a video of what I found to be the hardest event if you'd like to judge the difficulty of the game for yourself (courtesy of YouTuber Tairach). These three outliers aside, you're required to earn every cosmetic and bonus trophy in the game which more-or-less requires a first place/gold medal finish on every event in the career mode. Interestingly, the game's "qualifier" events, even on the lowest difficulty, are almost impossible to complete with a 1st place qualification when you first encounter them because you won't have the ship parts necessary to compete with the AI. As such, you'll have to complete the game first to unlock the necessary ship parts before you return to try your hand at these brutal times. At launch, the "Fashion Racer" trophy was unobtainable because it required you to earn the cosmetics in DLC that had not yet been released. As of posting, "Fashion Racer" might be fixed, but "Redout Grandmaster" has become buggy in its place. To earn the "Redout Grandmaster" trophy, you now need to get a 3rd place/bronze medal finish in every event in the base game and both DLC packs. To reiterate, the paid DLC is required for the platinum. Despite the paid hurdle to the platinum, Redout 2, to me, is the best anti-gravity racer I've played since 2003's F-Zero GX. The sense of speed is exhilarating, the controls feel fine-tuned to perfection (I love that they took inspiration from F-Zero for the side-to-side strafing), and the difficulty of the game's trophy list easily competes with some of the toughest the genre has to offer. Huge thanks to @Destructor-8 for boosting the game's multiplayer trophies with me! Binarystar Infinity (2.94%) - Described by the developers as a "1-bit shoot em' up", Binarystar Infinity is a short and sweet shmup with eight bite-sized levels complete with boss battles and a simple selection of powerups to choose from. To earn 100% of the trophies, you need to rack up 900,000 points in Arcade mode (or any other mode, but I'm unsure if this would be easier elsewhere) as well as beat each level without dying. There may be some bugginess around the deathless trophies because I needed to redo two levels that I was positive I'd already cleared deathless before these trophies popped. Now, you may be about to read some total misinformation, but you might need to get a deathless run of all eight levels in one sitting to earn these trophies. Bugginess aside, if you're looking for a quick and easy UR completion, you could do a lot worse than Binarystar Infinity. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Director's Cut (0.81%) - Several years ago, in the long-forgotten depths of some crusty PSNP thread, I came across a comment that listed Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams as one of several platformers that was "more difficult than Super Meat Boy." In the years since, I've stayed away, convinced I'd need to work up enough determination to commit to the challenge. After finding that determination all these years later, it turns out that, whoever they were, they were full of s***. This game is nowhere near as difficult as SMB. Don't get me wrong, it's still a challenge, but it's not even in the same ballpark as other difficult platformers. Moment to moment gameplay involves a sort of dimension hopping between these two sisters as they work their way through 30+ levels. With each dimension shift, the level aesthetics, the player's move set, and even the music all change. The level design is creative, the music rocks, secrets are well hidden (easy enough to find without a guide, hard enough to make you feel clever), and, while many complain of the gameplay feeling clunky, I thought the controls were tight and responsive. To 100% the game, you need to earn 5 stars on every level (beat the level without dying x number of times + collect a high percentage of the level's secret collectibles), beat each level without dying, beat a generous time attack time, and beat a score attack requirement with enemies that give you an infinite source of points. Twisted Dreams is a great gateway platformer into the more difficult stuff and an awesome game in its own right. Consider giving it a go! KickBeat (0.42%) - Earlier, I talked about Retro/Grade and how it seemed to require a lot of physical dexterity from the player. KickBeat deviates from the traditional rhythm game mold as it doesn't require nearly as much speed or dexterity. Instead, it attempts to drown you in obfuscation. To explain what I mean, let me first describe the gameplay. I want you to picture a large ring. You stand in the center of the ring while enemies anxiously pace the ring's perimeter. When an enemy reaches one of four points along the ring's perimeter, they will launch a foot straight towards your face (usually to the beat of the music, but not exclusively). You're expected to parry each incoming attack, but, as more enemies fill the ring, you quickly get overwhelmed. You get pummeled with kick after kick until you're assaulted with the game over screen. On lower difficulties, you have the luxury of visual assistance. You may get full on button prompts or at least a courtesy glow atop the enemy that next plans to attack. But on Master difficulty, you've got nothing but your intuition in determining which enemy is going to strike next. If you persist long enough to develop that intuition, if you take each kick to the face in stride and say "is that all you've got!", then you'll feel like an utter badass when you finally achieve mastery in KickBeat. The game's hardest challenges involve earning 5 stars (not a full combo) on every song on Master difficulty and surviving 18 songs in Survival Mode. Survival Mode is set to Master difficulty by default and requires 45+ minutes of near-perfect play. Contrary to the trophy guide's unrealistic time and difficulty estimates, I spent 30+ hours getting my ass handed to me before I earned the 100%. Good luck if you plan on tackling this beast of a game. Stealth Inc. (0.32%) - And finally, my TOTY, my Turd of the Year: Stealth Inc. I've not known misery in 2023 quite as intimately as I have when playing this steaming pile of stealthy garbage. It lured me in with the expectation of frantic platforming amid a sea of lasers, enemy spotlights, and angry machines. But what I actually got was a bunch of block pushing puzzles. Because nothing says "tactical espionage action" quite like pushing blocks around am I right? Imagine if Otacon called you over the Codec and said, "Hey Snake, see that block on the other side of the room? Try pushing it onto that switch... by doing so, enough of the floor will be covered in darkness to allow you to safely... [Call End]." Ultimately, my dissatisfaction with Stealth Inc stems from my own misconceptions over what the game would offer. I didn't even know Stealth Inc was classified as a puzzle game until it was too late. I didn't know I'd have to watch YouTube videos for every single collectible because collectible locations are hidden in places that are almost impossible to spot organically and would otherwise require an obscene amount of luck to find. I didn't know I'd have to further watch S rank videos for almost every level because I couldn't be bothered to solve an umpteenth block puzzle. When I'm on my deathbed, I'll rue the day I forced myself to finish Stealth Inc. - I know this update has already gone on forever, but I just wanted to quickly mention that I finally earned my 2,000th UR trophy back in September! Outside of a few lingering "bucket list" platinums, this was my last trophy-related goal for the foreseeable future. Here's to a more relaxed 2024!

I really wanted to complete Tier 4 before the end of the year, but I didn’t have any games in my backlog that could be completed in less than a week’s time. I reached out to a few people looking for something short that I could complete quickly, and after some neat suggestions (several of which I purchased for next year) I finally settled on Aaru’s Awakening. It’s an interesting little hand drawn 2D platformer that is deceptively tricky in its extremely simple mechanics. There’s only 2 functions in the game, a jump/dash button, and the ability to aim/shoot a little projectile across the screen and teleport directly to where it lands, but the way these moves are used and chained together are quite clever and made for some fun and tricky platforming. I was pleasantly surprised to notice that purchasing this game came with both a PS3 & PS4 stack so I ended up doing them both for the hell of it and for those extra UR trophies. Shout out to @ExistentialSolid for the recommendation, and huge congratulations on reaching your 2000 Ultra Rare milestone! That’s a hell of an accomplishment. 👏👏 Congratulations to everyone who participated in UR Cleanup 2023 and for @Copanele for hosting the event and running the thread! You guys continue to amaze with all the tough plats and awe inspiring gaming achievements you bagged this year and I’m really looking forward to see what everyone does for 2024. I’m also looking forward to stepping my game up and seeing if I can add an extra Tier or two before the end of next year. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas & has a safe and happy New Years!! 🎅🌲🥳🥳🍺🍺👍
Popular Post MrHealthy
Lego 2K Drive I wasn't thinking I would get tier 4 done but I managed to dig in and clear a couple more games to close it out. Which means I managed to match last years 20 completions. I am pretty proud of that as silly as that is. Lego 2K Drive is a slightly above average arcade / kart / open world racer. The race events where by far the best part of the game and I had a lot of fun with them, though the open world tracks were not as good as the couple of bespoke tracks. Physics could get a little wonky on jumps sometimes with me going sailing super high, but it didn't have to much of an impact. Surprisingly I also found the slowest speed class to be the hardest in the game. Though even then no race took more than a couple tries to complete. The open world collectibles were super annoying to collect with no in game way to track which ones you have, just the number you have. The weeds were annoying to cut down. The challenges ranged from super easy to stupidly difficult (the drift challenges in particular). I definitely feel it would have been a better game if it was more focused on the racing and dumped the open world aspects. The biggest thing that makes this an ultra rare plat is that after doing everything else, all the races, all the challenges, all the collectibles and other misc trophies you will be absolutely not close to the 6K drive trophy (driving 6000 miles). You can do the faster method of manually driving that distance in like another 15-20 hours, or you can do the AFK method that adds significantly more hours. I opted for the AFK method and my PS4 was left on for like 4 straight days to get it done. It is honestly an incredibly dumb trophy. Momonga Pinball Adventures Once I had the Lego 2K Drive plat I took a dive into my backlog to see if I had anything else I could complete in 1-2 days. This looked very reasonable and it was. The hardest part is completing every stage with 3 stars and completing all the challenges. For people with no pinball experience this might be tricky but it's nowhere near as difficult as other pinball games. It's moderate overall with a few challenges that have some strict time limits and a little RNG. This game also has a stupid grind in it with needing to play 500 stages overall. With 9 normal stages that you will need to play at minimum 5 times, and 3 bonus stages you need to play at least once you won't be anywhere close to 500 plays. Thankfully one of the bonus levels can be finished in a couple seconds so it's pretty easy to just restart it over and over getting the grind done in 1-2 hours. Popular Post Abraniell
Tier 3 completed at last and the final of the year. Had to make a few changes to my original Tier 3 list due to some games I wanted on my collection closing servers so had to go for them asap at the end it was worth it and I threw an extra UR in there just for funs. Tier 3 - Flame Over at 0.82% rarity This game was a fun roguelike that was really quick and easy, nothing much to say about this one there is a glitch in were you can accumulate all of the upgrades you want to make those "harder" runs extremely trivial and easy I manage to first try every single gold trophy here with the glitch so it's a fun little weekend sub1% plat to add to your collection, nothing really memorable though. - Battlefield Bad Company at 0.92% rarity Alright so this was a massive grind that requiered a shit ton of players, coordination and alt accounts to get done in a reasonable amount of time. Thankfully there was a group of veterans boosters helping on this game pretty much during the whole year or since the server shutdown was announce. There was one group for the weekdays and the other main one which primarily boosted on the weekends so with a combination of the two and some free time I manage to get the plat done in roughly 2 weeks time. I can't even imagine how long would have this take me without the help of all of those hosts and groups that knew the game top to bottom to make the platinum journey as efficient as it can possibly be I imagine It would have take me months to finish just the multiplayer portion with a regular boosting group or legit. Big s/o to Shlomo_Sheckles for being a beast host and making so many other hunters finish this beast of a grind. The campaing on the other hand was a nice surprise for me it had its fun moments and I found some of the characters pretty funny imo. Overall the game takes a while to see the plat roughly 150 hours but it was a fun ride for me and really worth it since its now forever unobtainable. - Windbound at 0.63% rarity This is another nice little Indie roguelike game that reminded me a lot to some of the latest Zelda games on the switch but of course not that polished after all this is an Indie game so you get what you expect from it. I found the platinum really enjoyable and relaxing at times and it has some really cool sailing and crafting mechanics and nice music from time to time. The plat however can be a bit of a pain if you go for it legit specially due to how glitchy some of the trophies can be so you can find yourself doing the same thing on a run over and over and not meeting the requirements by the end of the run or just the trophies simply not unlocking by the end so it can be a bit of a bs game at time. Thankfully there is a major glitch that turns most of the gold trophies into a complete joke and you can actually get most if not all of them in just 1 run if you know how to perform the wall climb at the end of each chapter efficiently. - Absolver at 0.64% rarity So I had this game on my backlog for over a year now and I decided it to finally finish it. Originally when I started playing this I thought the game was really solid it had some nice combat mechanics and I thought it was hard enough to keep me engaged and on my toes. But I found the unlocking all of the moves really grindy at that moment so I decided to wait till I got myself a 2nd ps4 to go for it so that's exactly what I did this year I boosted everything by myself in just a couple of days and got myself a sub1% in a really cool indie hidden gem if you haven't heard about this game I stronlgy recommend you give it a try it's really unique. - Gran Turismo Sport at 0.96% rarity Ok... so this was the biggest grind of the year for me and that's saying a lot since I actually did multiple 200+ hour plats this year. Every single thing from the start of the game feels like a stupid grind down your mouth from the Circuit experiences to the massive online grind to the mind numbing idiotic excessive amount of XP you need for level 50... However in the games defense the actual driving which is the most important thing in a game like this was incredibly good so no matter how long the task was it never felt like a drag to me due to simply how good the game really is. The multiplayer portion was fun for me but I do believe that its currently the worst and most toxic time to go for it and if you are starting from scratch atm I believe its going to be impossible to finish on time as the level 50 trophy saves your progress online. Overall it takes a long while to the finish but it a really good game and the focus on the online makes it really fun and challenging. - Lumo at 0.84% rarity This was a really good surprise for me the game is a love letter to old retro adventure games and it combines that with some really cool puzzles and hidden areas. If you go into the game blind you might miss a lot of the content the game has so I do recommend that you go for it along with a video guide to make sure you don't miss anything and that you get everything done in the most efficient way possible. Yet another hidden gem classic here and the plat is really quick and easy if you make use of another glitch that allows you to have pretty much infinite lives during your Old School run. It was a nice bonus game to add to the list so yeah don't miss out on this one if you haven't played it. And with that I finish this years Tiers I have seen a lot of progress on my backlog since I started on this event mid year so yeah most likely I'll join in for next years event as well. Happy new years everybody cheers! Edited December 31, 2023 by Abraniell

Popular Post postofficebuddy
Not my best performance last year. I experienced a bit of general gaming burnout about halfway through the year and took a few month break. This year should be much better though. I’m finally on the verge of popping the RDR2 plat in the next few days. Might I say, what a game. Thanks so much for continuing to put such amazing effort into this challenge @Copanele
Popular Post Honor_Hand
Thanks for tallying up the points, @Copanele. Much appreciated. Man, I only completed 3 games for the UR event last year. At least two of them were from the Most Wanted list, but damn, that's probably my worst performance so far. xxD This year is gonna be different. I know it!
Popular Post Platinum_Vice
BADGES 👊 In this world of deep uncertainty, injustice, and turmoil, trophy hunters cling to one desperate hope. They seek a profound object; heartily coveted and deeply valuable. These sacred items are a boon for trophy hunters on their quests to complete the hardest of games. Hunters cry out: "One day I'll complete Crypt of the Necrodancer. One day... when I get a Round Tuit." Fortunately, a trove of Round Tuits have recently been discovered. They are presented to only the most diligent hunters among us. Congratulations. Han_the_Dragon
@Copanele Thanks for hosting the event! @Platinum_Vice Those badges look quite nice! Actually after seeing those badges, and since in a way this is an open ended event, I will join the 2024 one too! Initially was thinking in not joining, since UR plats haven't been a focus for me in a while, but there's nothing to lose by joining and doing nothing (Well, I already got an UR plat this year, so, doing nothing isn't possible too..)
Popular Post maisie666
Hammerwatch 2 - 1.22% Quick claim a month after release taking me to 20 games. Game was very unstable with hundreds of crashes and dozens of hours lost to corrupted saves. I loved the first 2, and waited years for this sequel and for the most part it was disappointing. The trophy list isnt very interesting, and i needed 9 full playthroughs to finish it up. Mainly because i lost 2 runs right at the end to corruption, and also because some of the classes are not really viable at harder difficulties. Art is beautiful, exploration is great and the game plays fine when it does. And time wasting mechanics. Also one of the worst quest rewards i ve ever seen. Needs a lot of work to get this game in shape. Spoiler No spoiler

poetic_justice_
@Copanele@Platinum_Vice Thank you both! This was fun. I am so happy I finished 5 UR games in 2023 and reached Tier 2! The group motivated me, so thanks to everyone who participated. 2024 will be more about enjoyment than UR, but I will still look for the 2024 thread. @Platinum_Vice What do the crosshairs on the Round Tuits mean? Some people have them and others don't. Anyone - It's been a year since I changed my signature and I totally forgot how I added the 2022 UR badge to my signature. I would like to add this 2023 UR badge. Is there a way to see the badge code so I can copy/paste the code into the signature? Thanks in advance. I've only ever accessed the signature bar from a PC. On your Forum Profile, find the Account Settings button near to where you can update your Cover Photo. In Account Settings, there's a tab for Signature. If you right click on your badge in this post (or long-press it in a phone) you can open the image in a new tab.
