Arcesius
So, Dead Cells dropped a new DLC again.. ? I just earned most of the new trophies and will get the last 2 later today, but despite me not yet having a Tier 2 list, I want to announce Dead Cells as one of my entries. If any DLC trophy is still UR a month from today, I would like to count it @Copanele I'm assuming the 1 month rule applies here? In the rules only platinums are mentioned, nothing about new DLC.. Yes, the 1 month rule applies here. I modified from "platinum" to "trophy" in the main page This game is trying to be a contender to Cities Skyline from what I see...
DrunkenEngineer
I’m going to say “ditto” to Arcesius; I’ll be swapping in Dead Cells DLC for one of my tier 1 games if it’s still UR in the future.
Popular Post Arcesius
And so, a new List comes together and a first completion is done thanks to an unexpected, unwelcomed 10€ DLC release one year after the last DLCs, and almost 6 years after the game's release: Dead Cells I already wrote plenty about Dead Cells back in the day, when the game came out. I won't spend more time talking about this one, people know it, it's a great game, but it should stop receiving DLCs... They really don't add much of value to the game. While most of the DLCs released one year ago were free, this one dropped for 10€, which in my opinion is a bit too much, given that it only has 2 new biomes, 3 new bosses (well, 2 with one having 2 phases) and a couple of new weapons... meh. 3 runs are required at least to complete all trophies (at least due to the blueprint drops), but it doesn't take too long. As for the rest of the list... It will change for sure ? The only other game on the list I'm sure I'll finish for Tier 2 is OlliOlli World... We'll see about the others! But for now, unless yet another DLC drops unexpecteadly, it's time for Wo Long! Edited March 7, 2023 by Arcesius

Popular Post tony_snake_24
I finally finished Dreadnought (x2) yesterday, and with that, my Tier 1 is done The game is a PVP/PVE 2017 f2p game in which you pilot and fight in space ships. It is shutting down very soon on the 19th, and there is not enough time to start it from scratch now. The ships, maps, and music are pretty cool. There are 5 classes of ships: - Dreadnoughts. Giving name to the game, these are the biggest ships with lots of HP and good damage, they are the tank class. - Destroyers. Medium ship with balanced offense and defense. - Corvettes. Small ships that only deal damage up close, but a lot of it. They are weak in HP but small and fast, so they are hard to hit. Much better when the AI uses them than when you do. - Tactical Cruisers. They are mostly the healers. Very annoying to fight when they keep healing themselves or two of them outheal the damage you do to other ships. - Artillery Cruisers. Small HP pool but deadly from the distance. The concept of a "Sniper Spaceship" is something I found quite interesting. I don't want to go too deep here but there are a lot of different offensive and defensive skills that make the overall gameplay satisfying. Apart from some miscellaneous and game mode trophies, the main objectives of the trophy list are completing wave 10 in Havoc (survival mode) and playing 1000 games. Wave 10 is not easy, the safest strategy (3 dreadnoughts and a healer, plus taking cover all the time) can take up to 2 hours for an attempt and you could randomly get disconnected, having to start over. For the 1000 matches you can actively play on said Havoc mode and suicide in wave 1, which would get you the trophy in 70 hours, or you could afk for hundreds of hours. A mixture of both is recommended. I did exactly 800 matches playing the game or afk, and the rest suiciding for a couple days. Dreadnought was pretty fun, I do not regret going for it, and twice, at that. But, 1000 games is too much. I had everything done with slightly above 100 games except some EXP grind and the 1000 matches, of course. The game is a partial autopop for the stack. Some trophies you need to do again, like the hardest one, wave 10 in Havoc, and the miscellaneous ones, but a lot of them just require 1 more of X requirement (1 more kill, 1 more win, 1 more game, etc.). Tier 1: - Medal of Honor (3.36%) (100%) - Rumbleverse (PS4) (2.1%) (100%) - Rumbleverse (PS5) (3.55%) (100%) - Dreadnought (EU) (0.84%) (100%) - Dreadnought (NA) (0.66%) (100%) My Tier 2 will be a mixture of games that are shutting down or have online trophies, and games I already started and need to clean up. In the future, I would like to go for bounties and play some more impressive games like The Evil Within, Wolfenstein 2, or Devil May Cry V, but currently, I'm just trying to get most of my online games done and increase my completion rate, and whatever games have UR trophies, I post them here. As always, it's great to read all of your amazing progress. I do read every comment! Popular Post Prometheous101
5TH and final game of my tier 1. Unturned NA stack. 3/10, 18 hours 11 minutes 0.60% plat and 21 URs Did EU stack last year ,got slowest achiever on it ... and I still hold it. I have wanted to do the NA stack speedrun for a while now.@UnboundedCash99 and I decided to do Unturned. Tnx for the boost btw. Shorter boost with some minor problems due to me forgetting a few information pieces and no guides available . Everything else I had done in singleplayer with cheats. Using a machine gun with infinite ammo on literally everything. Plat mostly consists of doing the campaign which is just "bring me x item" which I just spawned with the cheat system. There are 10-ish survival missions which are easy with the cheats. The only problem is zombies have horrible path finding and get stuck in weird places. Mission doesn't end until all are dead. I also managed to set up a turbo for the 1000 player kills trophy. 5 Hours of that was a nice rest. Overall,it wasn't a bad plat , even with the latge amount of repetitive tasks. This years fastest achiever on NA stack Last years slowest achiever on EU stack 1. The Jackbox Party Pack 4 EU STACK 1.09% 2. Hawken - 0.72% 3. Dreadnought EU STACK - 0.78% 4. Popular Post MrHealthy
I am officially giving up on Nex Machina for now, its got too many special effects for me, I am awful at it and I wanted to do it or Dead Nation and well.... Dead Nation [Vita] https://psnprofiles.com/trophies/2561-dead-nation/mrhealthy The first few times I tried this over the years it didn't click with me. But seeing @Squirlruler make great progress on it in the Attack on Completion thread motivated me to try again. This time it clicked. I ended up doing an extra playthrough over the minimum because I found grim difficulty way to hard without better armour so I ran through on braindead to get the best armour first. Morbid difficulty was challenging and kinda stressful but by far the hardest part of the game is the DLC trophy for getting to round 10 in endless mode. That trophy was 50% luck 50% skill with so many ways the game can screw you from crashing, to glitching, to giving you nothing but the hardest enemy spawns. Its soul crushing to lose on round 7, 8 or 9 and have to start again. I ending up doing the co-op trophies with Squirlruler and we smashed them out in a single session which was great. I actually managed to beat them to the plat which was surprising as I was not expecting to do as well as I did overall. This game does have one really stupid trophy though, Genocidiary, which requires you to kill 53,000 zombies. You might have 30k by the time you are done with everything else. I thankfully found a way to abuse the server syncing to just continually submit the same ~1900 kills using a save backup which sped up the process. Not a huge grind but does require 100 podiums, which i managed to pop with only another 5 races needed for completion Now onto Tier 2 below, and as im always working on multiple games ive already made decent progress on. Popular Post blu3st4rdust305
Quick turn around for second completion on Tier 1. Team Sonic Racing is not nearly as tough as the general conversation around it seems to make it seem. I tend to agree with the guide in saying this game is on the easier side, though I took a bit longer than expected. Some grand prix events do end up going belly up due to the chaos of the races, but it you familiarize yourself with the tracks and get comfortable with the drift/boost mechanics, it is not that tough. Your team mates tend to follow your lead. If you are in first for the majority of the race, your team mates will not be far off the mark. I found the the ring challenges to be more difficult due to the precision of the drift on the lines for the coins. Also annoying was trying to find the ghost data on the leaderboards for one trophy. The developers should really have added a Friends tab to the leaderboards. The game is a fine kart racer. I had not really spent a great deal of time with a kart racer since Mario Kart Wii many years ago. I had a good time with it. The tracks are a little disorienting and hazardous, which made them fun to learn and challenging to track all of the moving pieces. Glad I decided to take the chance and play this one. Now I have CTR on my radar for a tougher, likely better game. Also, have my eye on Wipeout Omega Collection, having fond memories of Extreme G and F Zero. Any words of encouragement for either of those after TSR? Besides NFS Unbound, now I have every 100% in every NFS game, stacks excluded. This is one of the game series that has been with me since I was a kid, so I couldn't give up on this shit. If it wasn't for my "going after a whole series" fetish, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOTHERED WITH THIS AT ALL. Seriously, this was fucking insane at times. As much as I love driving games, requiring such precision in an online-only game, with so slickly driving system, is not something I'm gonna miss. Damn, when I wanted to secure online trophies in DIRT RALLY 1 & 2, I only had to practice for a couple of hours until I was good enough to do the online trophies, but this mode took me a few weeks of serious grinding and studying world record videos for strats I could use. This week I'm gonna finish CarX as well, and work on Catherine Full Body, but I will make another update after I'm done with at least one more game, no need to do another one just for a grindy plat with no skill required.

Popular Post ExistentialSolid
Tier 3 - Complete!Astebreed (3.04%): Have you ever been convinced that a particular genre just isn't for you, not out of a general distaste for the subject matter or gameplay, but because you've been so hopelessly spoiled by the victory screen that you're unwilling to play by the rules? Astebreed is an effortlessly stylish indie shoot-em-up that isn't afraid to overwhelm the player with torrential bullet showers and laser rain. Astebreed's difficulty, however, as with most other shumps, can be trivialized by pause-buffering. Weaving through an endless storm of bullets feels almost mundane when you can control the pace of the action frame-by-frame. The sad thing is that you definitely don't need to pause-buffer to succeed in Astebreed; most bullets are destructible if you repeatedly flail your sword around by holding onto R2 for each chapter's duration. You can essentially play the entire game on all three difficulties (barring two tricky bosses and an infuriating "original" mode playthrough for trophies) by keeping your fingers held onto fire (R1) and sword (R2) and aimlessly spinning the right analog stick to lock onto any stragglers. Red lasers are one of your only real threats since your sword can't destroy them, but if you pause-buffer whenever you see red on the screen, you'll be practically invincible. Now don't get me wrong, Astebreed is a solid shmup (even if style has won the battle over substance) with a near-perfect length, a serviceable story, and addicting gameplay. I just can't play it, or other shmups, without resisting the temptation to pause-buffer. Crawl (0.72%): For someone that doesn't like roguelikes, I've sure been playing a lot of them this year... is something wrong with me? I'm happy to make an exception for Crawl though because it is, without exaggeration, the best roguelike I've ever played. The premise is genius: you're in the depths of a dungeon fighting for your life, but your friend's ghosts (up to three friends or bots) are inhabiting the bodies of the monsters standing in your way. If you die, the player that killed you returns to life as a human while you become a ghost trying to reclaim your humanity. Every encounter is dripping with desperation on both sides as you and your friends tear each other apart to either stay human or become human. Whoever makes it to the end of the dungeon goes up against one of three bosses whose body parts are controlled by your ghostly friends. If you have no friends, (honestly, same) that's fine because the AI bots do a great job of capturing the same sort of desperation you'd feel from a human player. Most of the trophies demand bots anyway, so you're not missing out on too much if you play this game entirely solo. The journey to the platinum is hard and fairly time-consuming, but you'll probably be enjoying yourself too much to care. Whether you enjoy roguelikes or not, consider checking it out! Keep in mind though that it's local-multiplayer only if you were hoping to play it with friends!Lovely Planet (0.00% - 1 unobtainable): Imagine you're a kid again - the world is vibrant and you're excited to be alive. You and your best friend are in the backyard trying to pull off a trick shot. Your friend sends you running off straight ahead with a goofy grin on his face and a Nerf gun you both bought with your allowance. As you start getting further away, he tosses a ball as high as he can into the air. You have to turn around, shoot the ball with your Nerf gun before it lands, then hit a bullseye on two targets your other best friend with two missing teeth is holding up. Lovely Planet sorta feels like what would happen if time stopped and you and your best friend could set up trick shots ad infinitum. Levels in this minimalist FPS, much like trick shots in real life, often require a sickening amount of practice to pull off. You're basically expected to transform into John Wick and blast every bit of fodder out of the sky with impeccable speed and accuracy (at least if you want three stars). It's easy to get overwhelmed and feel hopeless - I spent over 4 hours practicing 5-14 alone and wanted to cry until I got lucky enough to string it all together. The game's hard as hell and has one unobtainable, but if you want to go to FPS school, apply here!John Wick Hex (1.46%): Speaking of John Wick, it's time to check in on an interesting little licensed strategy game featuring the man himself. Most games... of this sort... aren't afraid to bombard the player with tutorial popups and cripple me with choice paralysis, but John Wick Hex eases up on some of the trappings of traditional strategy games by limiting the player to one massively overpowered unit (John Wick) and giving you just enough information to get a handle on what's going on. The learning curve is steep in the first few chapters, but brief. If you can survive chapter 2, you can most definitely survive the rest of the game. Unfortunately, luck played a frustratingly heavy role in my experience as enemy spawns are randomized to some extent with each reset and I faced situations that felt nearly impossible to navigate as a result. The trophies demand that you beat each chapter under a certain par time, with no bandages to heal, while using a number of gun types, and while maintaining a certain degree of accuracy. Thankfully, you don't need to meet all four requirements in one go to earn the platinum, but you can still expect heavy resistance and a ton of trial-and-error (especially if you're like me and not very good at strategy games). Since my last update, I've managed to get my hands on a PS5! I've got some catching up to do on all the great games I've been missing out on, so my next update may not be for awhile, but here's my tentative Tier 4! Was on pace to have at least a close second place time-wise if not a close first except while I was turboing away the remaining fitness points/exercises in my sleep, this apparently happened... Considering I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning to finish off the 14 fitness goals so I could end the 100% quickly enough on the turbo grind, I was rather annoyed to wake up to this instead of my last two trophies. Thankfully, it was just an issue with the game, so I was able to XMB out and restart the game pretty quickly rather than having to do any console resetting or god forbid, a database rebuild, but my shot at a good time was pretty much done after this. Oh well, still three more UR trophies and my Tier 2 done.

Popular Post Cruscah
I'm a COD guy, but the amount of fun that I had playing BFV was enough to make me pre-order BF2042. Well... never again. To be fair, the game is not as bad as people make it out to be, it's actually fun at times, it's just a little bit buggy. You can abuse portal modes to progress against bots, which makes most of the trophies easy and just time consuming, the main issue and the reason why I had not completed the game until now is Hazard Zone. HZ is a mixture of a Battle Royale and something like Escape from Tarkov, the game mode is decent and was the most fun that I had playing this game, the problem is that it's dead since launch. Matchmaking being limited to your region and no option to change the servers is one of the things that I hate the most in online games, for god's sake let me play with 200 ping if I want to, I was only able to find matches now that the game is on PS+ and I had to go for the PS4 version first because almost no one is playing HZ on the PS5 version in South America.
