Popular Post Squirlruler
Update #17! Diablo 4 (20 -> 52%) : I'm currently in T3 with my necro at level 57. Been trying to get glyphs for the paragon board. I wanted the "blood-drinker" one. It was my penultimate drop lmao. I have run one nightmare dungeon and it went pretty well. I haven't gotten an upgrade in a couple levels and I can def feel it. Feels bad man. Oh well. The grind continues lol Another small update. Been sinking all my time into D4. Solid 7/10 at the moment. There are some big things that they can improve to easily raise the QoL. We will see if they do.

Soundtrack is excellant. Stranded Deep- Bene meaning to give this a go since it was given for a free during the Covid times. I've not relaly played any survival type games before, so this was somethign a bit differant for me. The plan is to try and get this finished before Thursday, then its FF16 time Edited June 19, 2023 by Shadowlord87
Popular Post da-Noob123
Weekly Update Time! Call of Duty Ghosts 91 > 99% Pretty stoked to be almost at the finish line with this one. I finished all of the Completionist trophies and helped several people along the way with some of the miscellaneous trophies and I came so flipping close to 100%! My final trophy, Timing is Everything was in my grasps, the 3 boss enemies had spawned and the bar that needs to charge was almost full then tragedy struck... the host got disconnected from the CoD servers. ? Hopefully this week I can finally put this game to bed. Batman Arkham City 85 > 86% Started working on Nightwing's challenge maps. Finished all if the ranked maps and have 5/13 campaign challenges completed. They haven't been too bad but Nightwing has a couple of really annoying challenges for his predator maps. Be nice if I can finish this game by the end of this month too! Pretty stoked for being so close to a mere 15 incomplete games, a far cry from the 40+ I was at before joining this event for the first time last year. Only downside is I have not earned many trophies this month as I have been mainly focusing on cleaning these 2 games up so far this month. Extinction mode is fun with everyone on mic but each game is crazy long - like Killzone 2 custom MP match long o_O and the DLC trophies for City take a lot of time too.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 25. 6/19/2023 Starting PCG 57.68% Previous Week 59.50% Current PCG 59.53% Goal = 64% Games - Diablo IV 52% 70% Just Diablo again. Getting close to level 80 and xp is getting scarce. Still planning on hitting 100, but it's going to take a while. I also started a druid on hardcore to go for the level 50 trophy. It feels really slow compared to running around with a rogue. I'll remember that other games exist at some point. Have a good week!
Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Hello all! I am back from my holiday. Popular Post Redblaziken8
Update 22: Starting PCG: 58.08% Current PCG: 64.76% My completion percentage has both increased and decreased in the past couple of weeks, since I've wanted to add Yakuza 0 to my list in prep for it being my 100th platinum, and I added Metal Gear Solid 2 after getting into the MGS games recently. These games are so worth the dip in completion though, so I'll take the hit. Outside of adding a couple of new games though, I've made some good progress in the games already on my list. Resogun > 100% I just had the challenges and feats left in this for the 100%. It wasn't too bad and was fun to go back to this game. Really nice 100% to finally have after thinking I might not get it with two trophies being unobtainable for around a year. I'd definitely recommend this one, play it in co-op with a friend, or family member and you've got a game that has a seamless co-op experience. Plus it'll make some of the trophies a lot easier! Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty > 10% Here's one of the first new games I've added to my list recently. Yeah I could just wait for the collection to come out on PS5, but after finishing the first game for the first time on PS1, I really wanted to move on to the next game. I'll be carrying on with this next when I see my SO, since he watched me play the first game through to the end. I've really enjoyed what I've played so far and it's such a step up from the previous game with its controls. It's so seamless too considering it first released on a PS2. It's really nice to get into stealth games more actually, and I'll definitely be adding the rest of the MGS games along with other stealth games I've got my eye on. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light > 71% I've actually started to enjoy this game again which is really good news. Myself and my partner finished the main story, so we just have to go back through the levels to get all the relics, weapons etc for the last gold trophy in the game. Looking forward to seeing what improvements they made to these top down games with the second entry in the franchise after this one. Battlefield 3 > 100% A game I added to my list when I was 13, and finally got back to finishing this year. The last grind to level 45 was a bit of a pain, and incredibly tedious. But I met a lot of really nice boosters along the way and I did enjoy my time with the single player and the co-op missions in this game. The trophies are pretty straightforward, there's just a lot of DLC and quite a bit of grind involved. Glad this one is done! Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition > 100% I've been wanting to get back to this one for ages, and have been intending to for months. So I finally got round to it. Really loved this game, same as I did the first time I played it. But the multiplayer trophies put me off going for the platinum at the time. I did those in August, so getting back to it for the single player was really nice. This game is great and I really like how they portray Lara in this one, as she goes from an adventurer that's not sure of herself, to being more confident in herself as she progresses through the game. Only thing I'd like more of in this game is more tombs to actually raid... the ones that are in the game are too short and easy to figure out, but that seems improved in Rise of the Tomb Raider which I've also started... Rise of the Tomb Raider > 25% So I've been loving this one so far, and it's my favourite in the series reboot. I'm really enjoying this game so far, and I'm looking forward to trying out all the DLC that I didn't do, as well as getting the 100% in this game. My old save file is sitting at 75% completion, but I wanted to experience the game in full so I'm doing the 100% completion on Survivor difficulty. Yakuza 0 > 3% Finally added this to my list, it's one of my favourite games ever and I'm super excited to finally be going for the platinum in this, but I'll be leaving it for my 100th platinum. Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
Back from holiday. Unfortunately I needed to catch-up a lot workwise (and still am). So a small update to start with... The Bard's Tale Remastered - PSVita - PSVita - 0% => 90% I took my Vita with me on holiday. Decided to play this game which I bought years ago physically. I still have a large Vita library with games I never touched....And since I played so much Skyrim before my holiday, I wanted to stay in the RPG corner. This is a remaster of a game from , I think, 2004. Nowadays, this script of this game wouldn't make it through censorship. Typically a game created by men for men. Nevertheless, it has some really funny dialogues. I had a really good time with it. Played it on highest level (Old Skole) but for some odd reason that trophy didn't unlock. So I played it a second time, just to get that last trophy before platinum. Again; no trophy. I am pretty sure I selected the correct difficulty level..... I will revisit the game later as for now I don't fancy a 3rd run... No progress: Skyrim + DLC (0/3) - PS3 - 41% => 64% Gravity Rush + DLC (2/3) - PSVita - 77% => 96% The Division + DLC (1/3) - PS4 - 84% Strange Brigade + DLC (3/4) - PS4 - 99% FifA20 - PS4 - 51% Current Status Plans for next week: I saw that Thymesia is part of the Plus Extra catalogue. I probably will start that game and see if I have time & energy left to do a 3rd run in Bard's Tale. The whole giant rat in the basement still brings a smile to my face when I think about it. Beyond your issue with the difficulty trophy not popping, would you recommend getting it. I am always tempted to get it when I see it on sale.

Popular Post serrated-banner9
the late update from last week i'm only getting to now because i want to to play some Atari flashback classics for some reason Completion at start of week: 26.23% Completion at end of week: 29.34% (+ 3.11%) Gravity Duck (0% - 100%) Marsi's adventures (0% - 100%) InkSplosion (0% - 31%) Hakosan (0% - 100%) 36 Fragments of Midnight (0% - 45%) Access Denied (0% - 100%) lesson learned: never underestimate the power of EZPZ to raise %, especially on smaller profiles like me. all of these were 39p or under so i brought them because why the heck not and plus they look fun ok, let's start with Gravity duck, at the milestone spot of plat 10 which i choose because i discovered this game and my first plat (Jack n' Jill dx) though this video by Outside Xtra. Spoiler at it's core, Gravity duck is a 2d platformer with a cool little twist, the twist being that Gravity reverses with every jump leading to cool levels. Marsi's Adventures is a game published by Xitilon, and is short but sweet, it's easy trophy wise (just complete all 15 levels), but it's impressive for a small studio InkSplosion is meh, i'm probanly bad at it since it's a EZPZ but i can't get to 50,000 points let alone 100,000, on the backlog! Hakosan is a cool puzzle, but you can just view the solutions with a button (i think it was R1), which defeats the purpose of the game (not to mention that there is a trophy for using a hint/ seeing the solution) 36 fragments of midnight is one of those games that makes me say "hey, this is kinda cool and fun" fun enough to keep me playing but not fun enough to keep me coming back, i will probably complete sometime later when my brain randomly urges me to play it again Finally, Access Denied is a neat little puzzle game, and yes i used the guide by @RatalaikaGames, because i am bad at puzzle games. if you like puzzles i suggest you check it out, unless you don't want any plats above 90%

Popular Post stuthesheep
This Week F1 2016 91% -> 100% Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales 0% -> 100% Uncharted: The Lost Legacy 0% -> 8% After 6.5 years F1 2016 has been successfully completed, mainly thanks to the wonderful @Psy-Tychist patiently waiting near the finish line over and over to let me beat him. Glad to have that off the list now. Moved onto Miles Morales after that, generally fun for the most part and even easier than the main game. Slightly irritating having to play through a NG+ without any difficulty stipulations, not to mention having to sit through the numerous unskippable cutscenes again, all felt like unnecessary padding for a trophy. I ended up just sticking it on Super Easy and getting through it as quickly as possible, I wasn't enthused enough with the game to try and challenge myself on the NG+ any more than I had to. Also started The Lost Legacy. Only a couple hours into a blind Normal playthrough it and it doesn't seem to be too problematic so far. However, as there's only two story-related trophies - with the rest being collectibles and miscellaneous combat ones - it might take a bit longer to finish than I originally thought, particularly with having to do my collectibles run on Crushing difficulty and the assorted guide-folllowing that'll come with that. So long as there's nothing like the UC2 train boss later in TLL I can't see it being too tough based on what I've seen so far. Famous last words etc etc.

Lost Legacy wasn't too bad on Crushing that I recall, at least compared to the 4th game (without tweaks). Though like the Last of Us part 2, Lost Legacy has one really large "open world" area that I found annoying. Think I used a speedrun glitch tactic to skip most of that area on Crushing.

I've finally gotten my unearned trophies back below where I started the year - I've nearly gotten the hole filled in that I created by starting too many VR games all at once. Games I've been playing: Alan Wake (PS5) 77% --> 100% plat #125 attained! all DLC completed! Got this to pop as my plat 125 milestone just like I'd intended. I had just as much fun this time around with this game as I did when it first came out a decade ago. I was super happy for the excuse to play it again. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't experienced it yet. The platinum experience is pretty painless due to chapter select being available for collectibles and the Nightmare difficulty being a good challenge while not aggravating. Now I'm more hyped than ever for the second one coming out later this year! I am pretty disappointed in the fact that there won't be a physical version to put on my shelf though - I'm kind of a physical disc sort of person. Hopefully Limited Run or someone makes it happen eventually. I've got my sights set on playing Control sometime in the near future since they share the same universe and Alan Wake is referenced in one of Control's DLC I believe. It Takes Two (PS4) 48% --> 65% Had the rare opportunity to sit down and play a game with my wife. Made it through another section or two and picked up a few trophies. Hopefully we can find more time soon and finish this game this year. I think it's been almost a year since we started this, so slow going but we will get there eventually. Tacoma (PS4) 0% --> 100% plat #126 attained! I had a free afternoon and felt like playing something that wouldn't take too long. I've wanted to play this game for a while - it has the sort of story setup that I love with some sort of mystery to unravel. Landing on PS Plus Extra recently gave me the excuse to finally play it. I really quite enjoyed solving the mystery of where the missing space station crew went. Voice acting was good and I liked the way you got to view past events and slowly piece together the events that had occurred on the space station. I'd say it's worth the 2-3 hours it takes to experience it. Kayak VR: Mirage (PSVR2) 44% --> 77% I actually manage quite a bit of time with this one. I'm super excited that I think I'm making great headway getting used to the VR and not getting so nauseous with this game anymore. (storm level notwithstanding - bobbing up and down on big waves in the ocean during a storm gets me in a cold sweat and needing to take a break within minutes) I've gotten all but the most difficult trophies out of the way. I'm currently working on getting a silver medal on an Antarctica course. I've tried 3-4 times and still need to shave nearly 45 seconds off of my best time. It's a game where I will need to not just practice to get better at the game, but I need to physically get more fit to manage the times as this game is a serious workout when trying for the faster times on some of the longer courses. Part of my problem currently is that my arms are BURNING ~75% through the course and I can't keep them moving fast enough. It will take some consistent training I think. Also, I've logged only about 18 km so far total in the game. Gonna be a grind to get to the 100 km required for a trophy. Jurassic World Aftermath Collection (PSVR2) 40% --> 100% plat #127 attained! Finally got back to this one after only playing ~30 minutes on the day I got my VR. I actually quite liked it! The plat was totally painless and I really enjoyed sneaking around trying not to get eaten by raptors. My wife had a lot of fun hearing me yelp every time one would come around the corner and catch me by surprise. I felt like it was one of the better VR experiences I have had. Some simple but fun puzzles and really immersive setting. Though really simple, the puzzles needed to be since the whole time you are working on them you are listening to hear if there is a raptor coming and deciding when you need to abandon the puzzle to go hide until it goes a way. Tense stuff and I loved it. The dark levels where you just have a flashlight and are creeping around basement areas were a particular highlight for me. I felt like the cell-shaded aesthetic worked well. I would definitely recommend this one to someone trying to find a cool game to play in VR. The Gardens Between (PS5) 0% --> 100% plat #128 attained! I played through this one just this evening. I'm leaving to go camping in the morning and won't play anything for a week. I didn't want to be in the middle of something larger when I left and have to re-learn things so I looked around for something I could start and finish in the few hours I had. I've had my eye on checking this one out for a while so once again, it being on PS Plus Extra was great timing. It's a really great little puzzle game with a minimal story, but one that probably a lot of people can relate to and I thought it was great for what it was. The puzzle mechanics revolve around moving time forward and backwards and manipulating some things that operate outside of the overall time flow. Nothing too hard, but some satisfying puzzle solving nonetheless. It's short (1-2 hours tops for plat) and sweet and was a great way to spend an afternoon. What's Next? Gonna be gone camping for a week (wish me luck to not get eaten by a bear!) so nothing soon. When I get back I plan on: - keep working on Kayak VR. - Continue one of the remaining VR games I already started. I have 2 collectible trophies to mop up in Dyschronia. I need to get that done before the game gets too hazy in my memory. After that, maybe it's time to finish Horizon: Call of the Mountain next? - Start Control while the Alan Wake-verse is still fresh in my memory - There's a little indie game on PS Plus called Minit that has piqued my interest. I think it's short so I may play through it soon. Have a good week everyone and happy gaming! I should be able to get the last 2 trophies I need this week. I downloaded some of the new PS Plus games and had planned to start playing them last week, but then F1M ate up all my time. I knocked out some cheap plats to act as a buffer for when I do start those games, but now I'll probably wait until after the 1st. Take care!

Popular Post theSpirae
Update number 6 June Starting 72.03% End of January 71.82% (-0.21%) - Trophy rarity 39.37% End of February 72.62% (+0.59% / +1.34%) - Trophy rarity 39.14% End of March 72.55% (+0.52% / -0.07% month on month) - Trophy rarity 39.00% End of April 73.03% (+1.00% / +0.48% month on month) - Trophy rarity 38.63% End of May 73.66% (+1.63% / +0.63% month on month) - Trophy rarity 38.82% End of June 73.86% (+1.86% / +0.20% month on month) - Trophy rarity 38.59% June was a short gaming month. I spent two weeks traveling so had only two weeks to game. I played only one game: Tom Clancy's The Division 2 - Warlords of New York. I remember playing beta and then I tried the free trial+free weekends a few times but could never get into it. Saw the full edition with the DLC on sale for $9 and figured why not. Let's just say I poured 120 hours into it within 2 weeks. I'd give it a solid 6/10 and will continue playing it (already got 100%). It made me realize how slow increasing the completion ratio is by adding new games. I got 61 trophies from the game, spent 120 hours and the increase was only 0.20%. I can play some of the easy games from my backlog and get that percentage increase within a day. Oh, and they added another trophy to Killing Floor 2 so got that one and as always, I'll keep playing it for a few more games. I'm happy to see my Trophy rarity is steadily going down and staying under 40% feels better than reaching 70-80% Completion. Overall, great two gaming weeks. Not sure what I'm going to play in July, I'm thinking about Genshin Impact, just to keep hammering my completion down. Popular Post da-Noob123
June Summary @da-Noob123 Original Starting PCG: 93.73% June Earned Trophies: 79 Goal PCG: 98.73% June Earned Platinums: 2 June Starting PCG: 96.23% June Games Started: 1 Current PCG: 96.6% June Games Completed: 3 Month Increase: 0.37% Total Increase: 2.87% Minecraft Trophy Set 2 100% Another year another Minecraft DLC with trophies. ? Joined a trophy world after I couldn't get any trophies to pop with the command block in the world I still have. Kena: Bridge of Spirits 0 > 100% Beautifully animated and a good story of about moving on. Surprisingly challenging and I highly recommend using the Master difficulty glitch. Batman: Arkham City 90 > 100% After 2 years putting the rest of this game off, telling myself the campaigns were too difficult for me and not worth the effort, I have finished it. Honestly, it was not that bad in the end. Certain maps were more frustrating than others and there are a handful of really annoying challenges but once you either create or find an effective strategy online it becomes manageable. I think I only had to redo an entire campaign 1 maybe 2 times. I am considering going for Arkham Origins but that MP grind has me feeling iffy about it. Call of Duty: Ghosts 99 > 100% Finally finished this yesterday with an epic 4 player game with some close calls but we managed to get Timing is Everything and then did a revenge tour for one of the other players who needed 4-man escape trophy on the base game Extinction map. We smashed it out in around 40 minutes and games usually last over an hour, clearly we were firing on all cylinders. I have deleted the game now but I could definitely see myself coming back for a game or two with the friends I made in this game. Knack 34 > 55% After finishing City, I decided to give Knack another go. Unfortunately, I deleted my old save and had to start from scratch. I have beaten it again and probably need another 2-4 playthroughs. The game is still frustrating as hell with lots of 1 hit kill enemies, RNG chests for the multitude of collectibles, and a stupid NG+ where you can't change difficulty on the next run. My focus in it right now is to get all the collectibles in my current save to unlock all Knack skins and gadgets. Then the time attack and collesium battles. Then do Hard and Very Hard with Diamond Knack for the platinum. Trophywise, this might be my slowest month of the year, don't think I broke 100 but we will see once stats are up. I am really happy that I was able to cross off Arkham City and Ghosts, I didn't think I'd ever 100% them. I am now at 15 incomplete games. Onwards and upwards!
