My thoughts on the game have been expressed in other threads, so all I'll say for it here is: If you want to try a Disgaea game, play literally any of the others 😅 Oh, and is the birdy's sword at the bottom enough to count for Death's Door? The controls and aiming were a bit frustrating, but I liked the idea of the game as a whole, lol. I think if the aiming was a bit more precise and less finicky, it'd be an awesome game, but I felt like it really held it back from beingas fun as I was hoping. I always thought the story for these games were cheesy, but interesting at the same time and well... that part didn't disappoint. Haha. Good Ole Rico! (And of course, Spider-Man 2 is in a couple of days!) Paradise Killer | Pink Game Paradise Killer has a wacky premise, but I ended up really loving this game. The game has a vaporwave aesthetic that I've not really seen done in a videogame before, but it really grew on me over time. The 2D character artwork is gorgeous, and the soundtrack is bopping. It's hard because it looks a bit reddish brown and just can't confirm if it's orange at a glance (rust colors in general are going to have a hard time passing the 5 second rule). The Crew 2 is just enough orange with the sunset in the background to pass (as that to me, clearly looks orange without zooming in). So, I'll still give you one! I'm well-aware (more than anyone) that it's difficult to figure out how we are judging these and is very subjective. Personally, lighter, more vibrant colors are easier to pass on the eyes while darker shades are typically harder to pass on the eyes as it gets closer to brown/purple. The reason why we are doing it this way is because couple of years ago we used to throw them into a color generator to be objective as possible. However, Starrk_01 and I probably spent 5 hours a week (at least) judging colors (and probably another 3-5 hrs/week updating) and simply wanted to bypass using this method this year as hosting the event was frankly miserable. We couldn't wait for the event to be over because we were so exhausted from it. This is why we just simplified it. If we can't tell from a glance, we don't count it. We have a very large list in the OP of games that do/don't count and plan on using this list going forward to streamline the process in future years... hopefully, to a point where 95% of everyone's color questions are answered in the OP and that way we can spend less time asking and answering questions and more time gaming. Just a little insight for anyone who's curious on why we are doing this so subjectively and feels a bit arbitrary this year.
