Uuf sadly I will have to do some mentions:

- nope, Jin ain't a main protagonist of the Blazblue fighting game series, Ragna the Bloodedge is. Unless I missed some weird convoluted story point from wiki, I skipped the ingame story too 😂

- Abel is the protagonist of Street Fighter IV series, not Ryu(I know, it's stupid!! Capcom is insane!)

- For the UR section, if the UR is part of the DLC, I think I will allow it even if you play as a different character. Main character of DmC Devil May Cry is still Dante even if the only UR trophy in that list (wow its an UR?) can be achieved as Vergil. You still need to get the actual trophy& the DLC completed for it to count (which you did)

Probably I will add this specific situation as an example in the main post tomorrow.

Heads up the protagonist of Okami is Amaterasu. I had to think about Okami for a minute when I was scrolling through since it had been a while since I'd played it. You should be able to use Oswald from Odin Sphere like I did and Majima from Yakuza for G.

Very Interesting. Nice Idea... And no time limit to boot since I take too long to finish games. Going to start generating my list now.

 

@Copanele Just a suggestion for you for an extra layer of a challenge. There's a lot of names that can be used and moved around multiple options especially since you can use last names as well and I could probably fill up maybe 1 or 2 lists with my 100+ games ( probably not fully though since i think I'm missing a few key letters)

 

But it'll quite interesting to see if how many full lists all of you can come up with using all their games and moving the names around. I definitely can't but id like to see what people can come up with. It'll be a pain in the ass for to look through though 😆

Sadly you can only use me as a reference, but I played and paid attention to the story of that dumpster fire of a game....the main protagonist is Marco, the little crying one, not Urs 😂 

That was kinda like the nail in the coffin, if you play with all the chars all hints point out to Marco.

You can't verify that info though...nobody ever documented this crap 😂😂

The grey areas are the most fun for me 😆

 

Checking Wikipedia, Sackboy indeed is the actual name and not just a title or nickname. Yeah all of the inhabitants of Sackville are sackpeople, but he is Sackboy! Works for S.

 

In cases like LEGO, I will go for the canonical main character from the original series, if the game is 1:1 with the movie from a lore perspective. So if you have the entire saga, I would say it's either Obi Wan Kenobi(ep 1 if I am not wrong), Anakin or Luke Skywalker. Or Rey, if the other 3 are included

 

As for Borderlands idk, if all characters are equally important within the game, sure any of them work, see my Tunche example where I have 5 equally important characters as protagonists. As long as they are all main characters.

A different idea that I had was to put a challenge for " only first names as entries", I wasn't sure if there were enough characters for that though (X letter made me scratch my head abit)

But hey I could add that after all, maybe there's some players who has that!

Your idea sounds neat too, can add a special slot for people with more than 1 list 😂

@Copanele For Q, would Qwark from Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One be a good one? He is one of playable characters, along with Ratchet, Clank and Nefarious. Or is only Ratchet considered the main character?

While normally I'd consider Ratchet as the main guy, from what i see on Wiki:
"Players can each take the role of one of the four main characters of the game, namely Ratchet, Clank, Qwark and Doctor Nefarious."

So I guess in that specific game, Qwark is also a main character.
