Popular Post TheAkittaja123
#72: I Am Bread I Am Bread Obtain all other Trophies 0.24% Ultra Rare Enjoyment: 6/10 Difficulty: 10/10 Finally I obtained this platinum. Probably the hardest platinum that I will ever get. Never again. If there is a game that deserves a 10/10 difficulty rating it's gotta be this (and Super Meat Boy). The game looks simple, but its far from that. This game has one of the worst controls I have ever had in any game. But it's kinda part of the game so I shouldn't complain. There is a level called Garden in the Cheese Hunt mode. It's literally hell. I spent over 30 hours on a three minute level. It's probably more time that I actually used to play every other level. If you're going for this platinum, get ready for getting your patience tested. #127: I am Bread

Popular Post D-Tron
#92 - Lego Marvel's Avengers (PS Vita) Shawarma Time Despite having consoles I've always been playing the Lego games on hendhelds as far back as Lego Indiana Jones on the DS. I can easily say that so far Lego Avengers is my favorite Vita Lego game on as well as the most frustrating one I have earned a platinum for. It's your usual stud collecting, gold brick challenge conquering Lego game that you've probably played before. This one has an interesting twist for the Vita version though, It's still a 3DS port but it now has the full hub world that the console versions do. It was fun and interesting to have the hub world implemented into the various story missions instead of being full out linear levels. Now the frustrating part. If you have played a Lego game before you might know that there has always been a collectible detector red brick in almost all of them. It makes everything a lot less painful for collecting anything. There is one for this game as well but there's also a catch; It only applies to the hub world collectibles and it only marks Loki statues, Ultron statues and Chitauri Chariots. Doesn't say anything about characters, hammer drones, Hawkeye targets, Captain America cards and the spinger boxes; It's absolutely infuriating. I had to wait for someone to finish a collectibles map before I could finally man this one. Whoever invented that red brick must have been drunk off their ass. I'm gonna rage if this is also applied to Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Popular Post playdemos1
#60,61,62 (Sound Shapes 100% in PS4, PS3 & Vita) -> Level 26 ( I was 24 two days ago, this feels really good for 5€ ) Enjoyment: 2/10 Difficulty: 3/10 A game that I found on sale and really saw that I can't miss such trophy hunter deal, so I bought the game and I completed it (100%) in 2 days considering I played a little bit in each day was not that bad. I completed the game on PS4 and than sync on the other 2 consoles, so 3 plats in one day is gold!! The game itself is interesting, not my type for sure since it's a different kind of game, the campaign it's cool, the deathmode not so much... retry, retry, retry... the school mode or something it's easy since you have a trophy guide with everything you need to do. The trophies are just difficult like I said in the deathmode, it's a good challenge!
Popular Post Aranea Highwind
Wanna Go for a Ride? Earn all trophies. I never got to finish Resident Evil 0 on the Gamecube 10+ years ago due to a couple of reasons. English is not my first language and the fact some puzzle are hard to figure all by yourself (especially for a minor whose native language is not English). So yeah i got stuck on this game many years ago and never played it again. Once i saw the news that Resident Evil 0 would be receiving the remaster treatment i knew i had to buy it (i'm a huge Resident Evil fan so i was going to buy the game anyway). Once i completed the puzzle i was stuck on many years ago i was so relive to finally overcome something that seemed impossible for me to accomplish. Being the huge fan of this franchise i decided to hunt for the rest of the trophies even if that means replaying the game a couple of times. In the end i i was able to accomplish all of the tasks to obtain this platinum and to be quite frankly a trophy i'm very proud to have acquire. Popular Post AdventCloud7
#28. Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition Master of Mordor One has walked in Mordor. In summation: "'Twas a long and arduous journey, my friends. Wraith demon Talion spared not a single foe on the bloody trail of vengeance. Perhaps the greatest sufferers to incur the undead Ranger of Gondor's wrath were the Uruks. Their once impregnable fortresses lay in ruin, ravaged by insatiable violence, and littered amongst the rubble, their severed limbs and fallen corpses, from the lush marshes of Udun to the glistening seas of Nurn. Sauron's army grows weak and I grow weary. A long slumber cradled by the velvety quench of a smooth ale is at hand. For Mordor. Popular Post SuffyZorugelion
#164 J-STARS Victory VS+ I was a huge fan of manga and anime when I was a kid, but then everything got super mainstream and I got tired of it. Nowdays I dont watch or read much of either, but I still hold some series close to my heart Anyway, I wasn't expecting much from this game and it was pretty much what I expected. A shallow fighting game with a non existent story. It's a very grindy game that can be pretty much button smashed for the most part. Once I found out the range attacks were so overpowerd I started using them a lot. The game modes are not interesting or different enough to justify the grindy trophy list and I think something like a 10 hour platinum would of been much more suitable for a game like this. I've said a lot of bad things, but I don't exactly think it's a bad game, but it could of been delivered so much better. It's kinda sad when the most fun you have with the game are the quiz and card collecting stuff and not the actual game. Popular Post slash
#59 - Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Hope's Last Reward - Earned every other trophy in the game. what's school life without a field trip? welcome to jabberwock island!....oh yeah, you're stuck here, and the only way to get out is to kill each other. how fun! as the direct sequel to danganrona: trigger happy havoc, goodbye despair continues where the story left off in a very vague way and carries the core mechanics with a few tweaks. like trigger happy havoc, students will start to kill each other and it's your responsibility to investigate, research, and find the culprit. the class trials are still the highlights of the game and as a sequel, goodbye despair adds some more mini games to mix things up. some i enjoyed, such as [logic dive and word duels]*, but [hangman's gambit] is now an absolute mess that's more about luck than skill/logic. also, because of the new additions, goodbye despair feels like it's obligated to cram as much in as possible and that makes some of the trials drag on way too long. most of them will take well over an hour and a half to clear. it messes up the pacing a bit. The murders do become significantly more complex, and the final murder particularly had my jaw on the ground. the creativity really does ramp up here with new characters that i find both lovable and despicable. one character in particular has a very specific agenda and finds extremely ways to go about it. as such, the story overall takes a really bizarre turn as you discover the true secret behind hope's peak that i found rather cliche, but nonetheless disturbing and fascinating. after the main game, island mode unlocks and it's identical to trigger happy havoc's school mode. which means it's equally as redundant and unnecessary. there's also magical miracle girl monomi which i personally found to be some of the worst post game content i have ever played. the road to the plat requires you to go through both of these and it's seriously detrimental to the overall quality of the game. i hate that it's post game because it's such a disgusting aftertaste for a wonderful game. like trigger happy havoc, goodbye despair would be a better game without them. even so, it's hard not to recommend not just goodbye despair, but also trigger happy havoc together. they are part 1 and part 2 of the same story and still some of the best gems you can get for the vita. it's an incredibly unique experience that only japan could come up with it. so please, if you have a vita, buy these 2 games. they're some of the best exclusives sony has to offer across all platforms. *words in [ ] are in white text for make shift spoiler tags. highlight to see them Edited February 4, 2016 by slash

Popular Post themindisacity
#128 NORN9 VAR COMMONS (Vita) Sci-fi otome visual novel; I never quite clicked with this one. It's not bad, but it wasn't my favorite. I don't know if it was the multiple protagonist system, or the fact that DESPITE the multiple protagonist system you couldn't interact with all of the men. There's nine of them, but only story paths for three men for each girl. #129 Code: Realize ~ Guardian of Rebirth (Vita) Fairly standard otome visual novel, but I quite enjoyed it. Of course, steampunk + Victorian literature + me = fairly easy sell. #130 The Testament of Sherlock Holmes (EU Stack) (PS3) I'm a big Sherlock Holmes fan, and I originally got the PC version of this game a few weeks before its initial release as a review copy. I remembered that the story was actually pretty good, but completely forgot just how much the game absolutely shits itself near the end. If you can ignore the last twenty minutes of the game - and the awful framing narrative of small children in modern times reading this lost story of Sherlock Holmes - it's actually a pretty fun ride. Protip: play the game in first person perspective, as it's fairly clunky in third-person. #131 LEGO Marvel's Avengers (Vita) Oh dear god. This one soured my enjoyment of LEGO games for a bit. The game's generally good and enjoyable, and the LEGO humor is still there, but the hub world was a DISASTER. Awful draw-distances meant that you were often flying (or running, or sometimes even just walking) past collectibles before they'd even spawned. And that's a really bad thing, because the collectible brick only tracks about 1/5 of the total collectibles in the game. It was a nightmare trying to find everything - I was literally climbing up every single building and walking down every single road checking for collectibles, and marking them off on a map on my computer. I logged 20 hours on the game and only about 8 of them were the campaign. I wrote up a collectibles guide so no one would ever have to hurt like I did.
Popular Post aquartertothree
#92: Resident Evil 0 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 5-6/10 Finally played through (and completed 100%) this one after owning it back on the Gamecube but never making it past the facility. Really mixed feelings on this even as a hardcore Resident Evil fan. It is a classic style RE game through and through which is a positive as we don't get those anymore but it's like the game goes out of its way to be difficult/annoying at any chance it can get. To start with the inventory system this time around is abysmal. There's been complaints about the inventory system of the RE series before with the limited space and item boxes but I genuinely don't think the solution is to just remove the boxes. The concept of being able to drop items wherever you want so you can go back to them later seems like a logical step but when you factor in things like most weapons taking up two slots and some items having multiple uses across the different locations with little to no warning and it's easy to get screwed over. For example back in the gamecube days I made it up to the church before realizing I needed the hookshot which was back in the train wreckage. I didn't really have the health and/or ammo to fight through any of the monkeys/zombies that respawned so I just dropped the game overall. The enemies are also among the worse in the classic style games from both a design and gameplay standpoint. It's incredibly easy to get stunlocked to death by one or multiple enemies in more than one spot. Looking back I'm not surprised that this was probably the nail in the casket of classic RE style games. It wasn't all bad though, the game looks amazing for something that released so long ago. (I wish the assets for Resident Evil were available so that could have had as much effort because it's a vastly superior game but that's another story.) It's too bad the train section is so short because it's really unique and definitely more interesting than the following locations which feel like retreads of some of the places in earlier games. The atmosphere and soundtrack are great as well. That's not even getting to the decent amount of fun stuff for fans of the series, even if some of it is nonsensical. Leech Hunter is also up there as one of my favorite side games in the series with Mercs in RE6. Overall it isn't bad but it's not even close to REHD or most of the other games in the series for that matter. I wouldn't recommend this as a first game for a newcomer to the series but if you've played/liked other classic style RE games and are curious give it a go maybe. The game is definitely more enjoyable on return playthroughs when you know what you're doing and you have the various unlocks. Popular Post manumatik
Plat #26 - Final Fantasy VII 18 years ago I went to one of my friend's house and saw him playing a weird game where numbers popped in the screen constantly and I thought... "Damn, that's horrible, what is this, a math game?" Soon after I got a Playstation and borrowed aforementioned game, my very first japanese RPG, and I was blown. away. Cried like a baby (you all know where and when and why), bounded with all these incredible travel companions and lived what, at that time, was the most amazing adventure I ever experienced. 18 years later I couldn't resist to get again into this polished polygon(ed) version of the masterpiece, and, maybe as an act of vengeance for the part of my life I spent unsuccessfully battling the Weapons or farming freaking Chocobos, a part of my life I will never get back, but this time... oh man... I used the cheats. Wait, I didn't use the cheats, I ABUSED the cheats and got the best of them cause my purpose was only one: To relive the story and the part of my life associated with that. And let me tell ya, it was wonderful. So there it is, as we wait for the Remake that will most probably crush my heart again and again, I am now one more Gaia's Guardian. Popular Post Xel
#92 Onechanbara Z2: Chaos Congratulations!! This Must Be Your Favorite Game Onechanbara Z2 Chaos is a game that will either be a gem or a dud for players. Personally, I love it. The newest title in the over the top series, Z2 Chaos continues to deliver on the fan service front. Gore? Check. Zombies? Check. Scantily clad protagonists? Check x4. Yes, you will take over four characters in this game. All have unique little quirks that set the apart from one another: Look, weapons, moves, etc. Speaking of moves, the gameplay actually feels fun, slicing and dicing zombies proves to be a great blood-soaked endeavor. My only real gripes with the game would be the area you visit in-game look somewhat at times, and the fact there are still horrid those damned invisible walls. Sadly there is no multiplayer as well, something I feel as though the game initially had in mind. But all in all, if you're wanting something fun and bloody to pass the time, pick this game up. It's the best installment in the Onechanbara series, and an overall excellent little game.
