After two years and four months, I finally got this. I could have done it earlier, but the online was completely dead. I set up a gaming session on here, and found someone pretty fast. It only takes about a half hour or less for two people to boost the online trophies. (Thanks pot1414)

 Cold Steel Conqueror

 

A fairly easy platinum, but very time consuming as you have to make sure you talk to all the NPC's constantly in order not to miss anything. Still, I loved every minute of it and I'm eagerly anticipating the release of Trails of Cold Steel II on September 6th!

#64 Resident Evil Zero HD

 

Couple days ago, marked my #64 Platinum trophy. " Resident Evil Zero (0) HD". It was a long journey, due to a hick up with Wesker Mode erasing Leech Hunter mode. But I pulled through and finished Hard Mode like a boss. If was fun to relive the game from my past experience on the Nintendo GameCube, but the sadly wore off quickly once I realize while it has the old school RE controls. It's lacking in story and layered in characters that are uninteresting. The best part about the stream was I meant so many new people. So Glennyboiiii, thelarsvolta, adamick, MamaMutti, Shogunkieran and Dimples216 It was great to meet all of you!!

Toughest Soul Trophy
All Trophies Obtained

 

 

A masterpiece of a game. I had played through it once earlier this year, then decided to set it down. Finally got back to it and decided to platinum it. I can now say, going for the plat really opened my eyes to this games excellency. The gameplay loop is incredible and absolutely addicting. Very few games recently have manged to grip me the way this game did. I found myself reminded of the nes/snes days, running through the same levels over and over again, yet enjoying it. Remembering item and enemy placements, really appreciating the nuances of the game. I can't praise this game enough and finally realize why From was able to venture on and create a whole subgenre of games, that even Team Ninja and other devs are taking taking from. I'm glad I decided to go for the platinum. Dark Souls was in my top ten games of all time, but this one definitely takes it's spot.

Your Majesty / Medieval Moves

after spent most of my midnight gaming swinging the move controller like a real sword and throwing fictional shurikens on my TV like a paranoid ninja and rub my arms with some vicks before going to bed to ease the pain, i finally got my 3rd ultra rare platinum ( 89 Achievers and 0.99% Ultra Rare ), and speaking of why this game have one of the hardest platinums on ps3 and a lots of people wonder why or is it really that hard? here's your answers....

1- unlike Sorcery which is an action adventure game, Medieval moves is an "On-Rail" game, many people don't enjoy these type of games nowdays unfortunately.

2- it's a move controller exclusive game, you don't have one of those you can't play this game, the dual shock 3 don't even work once you turn this game on

3- speaking of move, you can play and beat the story mode with only one move controller but for the plat, this game need not one, but two Move controllers to net those multiplayer mode trophies down.

yes there's an online or should i say "Multiplayer" trophies in this game, why an on-rail game need an online multiplayer? i don't really know... the problem is that the server is going under maintenance since a long time, god only know since when, a message pop from time to time saying something like the online mode is going under maintenance and you can submit your high scores to the leader board once the server are back up, though, you can still submit your score but you can't play online and even if you do it's a waste land over there.

thankfully you can earn these trophies offline in Home mode and this is where a second move controller should come to $ave your day, i'm glad that i got two Move controller and funny how we got two of them by a coincidence, my brother one day went on a trip and during that time i went to the nearest game store and found a used move controller with the PS eye and i bought them, then when my brother return he also happen to bought a stand alone Move controller brand new, he told me that he was planning to get the camera later on but awe well.

so it's not really a hard platinum, it just force you to spent money on two controller that you might not going to use them again once the game been platted. the game is not terrible or even near to be one, in fact i believe it's among the best on-rail games out there, graphically it's really a good looking game, everything is super detailed, from the games i played on ps3 this is easily one of the best looking ps3 games, playing the story mode with two move controller will gives you this realistic feel like one controller will be your sword and the other one will be your shield or one is your arrow and the other one is your bow, your sword attacks is not linear, as anything you do works, and it was really good and funny that i made my own combo too ( now i know how dante from the DMC series arms feel like after doing all these fast combos ) but still, i found it best to play the story mode with one controller as it a lot easier and you can focus better with one controller, the controls works well in this game i don't know about other people who played this game but i never had any problem with them at all, finally is this game have connection to the playstation classic game series Medievil?

#140. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD

The best kind of platinums are the ones that have been on your profile for years, just waiting there for you to come back and complete. Getting all S ranks was tough at first due to the lack of gear you have and you just feel underpowered at times. Co-op is really a good feature in this game, I preferred the times when I was playing with a friend rather than being by myself. Praise the M47 that just melts everything in the game, the M47 doesn't care who you are, it will owe you. Special thanks to ihadalifeb4this and UrsusPrime for co-ooping mission with me, helping me get better equipment and overall getting better at the game. FUN: 8/10

 

It's the most polished game in the series that I have played so far. The combat system is similar to Mk 2's system and I loved the new characters. The one thing that took a while to do was to get everyone maxed out to level 99 and to get everyone to at least rank 8 affection with everyone which can only be done on the true end route. I played through the game 3 times so I can just plow through each playthrough after the first one.

This time around I beat Crushing mode with ease and I feel great knowing that I've become better at gaming after all this time.

Interesting spin on war shooters. Fubar wasn't much harder than Suicide other than battle buddies being more useless. Some checkpoints are terrible too. Pretty straight forward if you don't get frustrated and just be patient and try until you succeed.
6/10 difficulty and 8/10 enjoyment/satisfaction. Would be higher enjoyment but dying so much takes away from the sense of achievement.

   Skipped through it mostly, only played for the easy platinum. Should've probably played code embryo first i guess. Kinda bad, but not poop like last rebellion or magus or anything.

GoW games are actually fun and not too difficult/long to platinum. I'll probably do a few more (working on ghost of sparta now that i'm done w/ #40)

I skipped through this one too, it seemed somewhat interesting but not my cup of tea. the Norn9 quest minigame thing was a dumb grind though... (got this July 28th lol)

It's probably the best RPG I've ever played, or at least the one I've enjoyed the most. The only things that I remember enjoying nearly as much are Star Ocean 3, Final Fantasy X, maybe Persona 4 and maaaybe Valkyria Chronicles. I feel dumb that i bought the shining pom DLC though >_> .

difficulty: 5/10
enjoyment: 9.5/10 (the grind to 1000 battles kinda sucked)

Nepgear is a good main character, too!

 

"Everyone now agrees that Nepgear is a good main character, too!" They'd better.   OMFG, this game just blew me away. I mean, I enjoyed the first Re;Birth quite a bit. But this one, man.. And it was weird at first. No Noire? No Vert? No Blanc? No Neptune!? But every single one of those little sisters were such great characters, they were quickly forgotten(until they come back, late in the game). And everyone in this game is capable of making me bust a gut, at any given moment. The humor in these games is so damn good. :') And the gameplay, to me, is a lot of fun. 

 

Now, it wasn't all sunshine and daisies. Grinding for materials got old fast, and I ended up taking a break from the game for awhile do to it. And then the RNG fun of Stella.. But the good just so outweighs the bad, that I had to make it my next milestone. Can not wait to start Victory.

This game was a lot of fun. I love stealth games, so I really shouldn't be surprised. But it was much better than I expected. And the music..  just incredible. Interesting story, too. And did I mention, the main character's name is Rob?  Totally has nothing to do with why I enjoyed the game, but I don't think I've ever encountered a game with a "Rob" as the playable character before. And it's said a number of times. Can't say I didn't grin every time. :/

 

#165-Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments

So, this was on clearance at my local Walmart for $15. I did enjoy it. But tedious puzzles and looooong loading screens hurt it.. But if you like Sherlock Holmes/solving crimes, and enjoy adventure games, it's decent.
