Popular Post GoodbyeBread
Plat #55 - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell was the very first stealth game I played. Away from the action packed, guns blazing, Call of dutygames everyone was so used to, Games like Splinter Cell and Hitman were the 'Anti-CoD' of video games. These games teach you how to be patient, utilize the environment, as well as the weapons and gadgets you have in order to get the job done. High Points are game-play, gadgets, difficulty and some coop missions. Throughout the game, I have enjoyed trying to figure out ways to carefully approach each situation to continue along each mission. I often found new paths by mistake that helped me immensely. Gadgets were very handy, although you have very limited inventory of them. Crossbow is one of your best friends when doing everything stealth only. Sleeping gas and Incendiary grenades are also very handy if you find yourself in a bad jam. Difficulty was fair in my opinion. I say this, because when i was going to do a 'Perfectionist' run, it did fill me in on the details of how great my challenge was going to be. It may not be much to some people, but little details like this go a long way. Coop missions were a blessing. I really had fun playing with people online, veterans or newbies. Low Points are dogs, heavys and Grim's missions. Dogs seem to smell you on the other side even when you aren't close to them. it might be a glitch for me. Heavys weren't as much of a problem in the game. However, trying to put them out with sleeping gas is a hassle. Later in the single player, you see them wearing gas masks , but earlier they dont wear any gas masks and sleeping gas doesn't affect them. Maybe its just me, but i think in the future, a mask icon to show enemies they are immune to sleep gas would be appreciated. Grim's missions was the hardest part of the game for me. It's the idea of "get caught = instant failure". Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a good challenge. I just didn't her missions as much as Charlie's, Briggs and Kobin's missions In short, It was a very good stealth game overall. It was a nice plat to start off October and I'm excited for whats to come.

I can move on with my life and forget about those missions. This has to be one of the hardest platinums I got. I don't think I can go near a mission mode in a fighter again without having horrible flashbacks Edited October 2, 2016 by Zangril

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas Platinum Get all other Trophies It's not the size of the rod that matters, but how you use it. Well, it's made by a bunch of (obviously) talented Finnish developers. Of course I was gonna like it (yay, Finland!) There's also Nobuo Uematsu (I'll give you a hint: Final Fantasy) boosting up the music department, so it's pretty much solid gold. As much as Oceanhorn plays a lot like many Zelda games (The Wind Waker mostly), it does it with grace and dignity. The story is as basic as it can get: a young lad following his papas footsteps, out to vanquish evil from the seven Seas. The controls are fluid and uncomplicated. Enemies go down with ease and using equipment is even easier Lots of hidden secrets and puzzles here, none of which are hard to find/figure out. I'd say a well balanced difficulty curve, like Zeldas. And 'cause the game revolves around various islands and the Sea, there's some sailing and....fishing mini games. Fishing mini games...this game would've been a joyous ride all the way if it weren't for fishing. Mainly catching the final fish, Botfish. Took me 4 fucking hours I seriously recommend Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas to every Zelda series fan and adventurer. Two thumbs up (btw: why is it called Monster of the Uncharted Sea here instead of Monster of Uncharted Seas? There is a difference...to someone )

Popular Post ViciousAly
# 29 Bioshock: Infinite Another one bites the dust. Bioshock Infinite was the much awaited, much needed and much better linked story than Bioshock 2. Although in terms of building up villain character, the original Bioshock still remains the true champion (nothing can beat Andrew Ryan, his quotes, VA etc). Only Bioshock 2 left to plat but since I really don't like the game, I will hold off on plat'ing it. Here's something I combined and mostly used when I played Bioshock: Infinite back in 2013: "Would You Kindly Bring Us The Girl And Wipe Away The Debt?"
Popular Post Valkyreth
#95 Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Platinum Trophy Earn all Army of TWO™ The Devil's Cartel Trophies Probably the blandest shooter I've ever played, it's not a bad game by any means but it just doesn't do anything to stand out - The main characters are generic, the gameplay is generic, the story is generic. I swear I can't even remember a single thing that happened in this game and I played it two days ago. At least getting the platinum was pretty easy, so there's that... Popular Post UK-Danny-93
Mount & Blade: Warband Unless someone else has got it and not synced their trophies then I think I'm the first to get this Platinum. Even the rarity on PSN is 0.0% so I might be the only one one with it for the time being: http://imgur.com/il1p3UE Anyway Mount and Blade: Warband is an awesome little sandbox game that casts you in the role of a newly arrived foreigner in a medieval land locked in a perpetual war beween six kingdoms and hundreds of Lord's vying for territory, renown and ultimately control of Calradia. You go on a journey from a lone wanderer to mercenary leader to eventually ruler of all the realm if you can defeat all the Lords in your way and subjugate the rest of the factions. Along the way you can recruit special companions, build an army from simple recruits to veteran warriors, hire yourself out as a mercenary, pledge allegiance to one of the kings, help a claimant usurp the throne that should rightfully be theirs, find a suitor and woo them, compete in grand tournaments and eventually start your own faction and claim the map for your own. All this is cool but Warbands real strength is in it's combat. Never before has a game allowed me to play as a horse archer and feel like such a badass. It's great fun to ride down an enemy on foot or mounted and time the swing of a great sword to sweep them away. Lances, throwing weapons, staves, crossbows, swords, axes, and hammersare all are satisfying to use to kill enemies hundreds of times over whether out in the field or in a a siege, singleplayer or online. It's even a lot of fun just to watch your troops fight the enemy. It's awesome seeing a knght just obliterate someone with a lance or an archer pick off the horseman who was harassing you. What's even more impressive about Warband is that it's built by a small team off of the original M+B which was made by a husband and wife team a few years ago. What's more it's great to see a game like this, that I'd considered so quintessentially pc, make a successful transition PS4 where I very much enjoyed getting the platinum. Check it out if it seems at all interesting to you, I have a feeling the multiplayer will not maintain a strong player base for long. Popular Post Freyja
#36 Atelier Sophie The Alchemist of the Wonder Book My first Atelier game. The simple, homegrown story is a breath of fresh air, and the unique focus on alchemy and item gathering over combat and grinding helps it stand out even more. Most surprising of all, though, is that a game all about picking up items, navigating menus and walking around the same town for hours and hours kept me more engaged. Atelier Sophie was a very kawaii and wonderful game I look forward to Atelier Firis! Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment:9

Popular Post DamagingRob
#175- Zotrix Zotrix Exterminator Earn all other Zotrix trophies. This was only $2, so I can't complain that much. But it was just too easy for almost the entire game. Which made it such a bore to play through.. Arcade Mode was better, as it kept me on my toes, and provided a little bit of a challenge. But most of the game will be played in the other mode, unfortunately. And on top of it, you have to grind 100,000 kills in that mode. Over and over and over again, I had to replay levels, mindlessly shooting aliens, with no challenge whatsoever.. I calculated around ~34k extra was what I had to grind out. I would rather have had the final trophy be for completing Arcade Mode. At least that was funner. But they only ask you to go 3/4ths of the way. Some of the music was good, some of it not. I had planned on using Spotify while grinding, but after turning music and sfx to 0, it was still making noise when I shot, drowning out my music. So, I had to use the Vita and mute my TV. :/ Hard to recommend unless you want an easy Plat. And hey, I'm faster than 143 people. Not many have played this, apparently. I have football to thank for not being in the Top 3. Platinum image: Really amazing graphics. So amazing, my mother had this to say: "What are you, 5? This looks like a NES game." Even old folks can be graphic snobs, I guess. Edited October 3, 2016 by DamagingRob

Popular Post Mokhona
#16 : Assassin's Creed Syndicate Master Assassin My first platinum of an Assassin's Creed game on PS4. An easy and fun platinum. The story is entertaining and Jacob and Evie do a good team of assassins. The DLC of Jack the Ripper is good too but a bit short and with an annoying bug with the carriages... Hopefully main game wasn't affected.
