Popular Post Boomshanks
( 36) Uncharted 3 Platinum Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Just the second month of my 1-platinum-a-month goal and I've already nearly managed to ruin it (got it on February 27th). But I got it!... With one day to spare With this I've finally platinumed the original trilogy . Though this is my least favorite of the Uncharted games, it's still an amazing game. Some of the setpieces were absolutely brilliant, like the cruise ship and the plane. The level design of that cruise ship especially was very impressive after a certain event had played out. Out of all the Uncharted games, I feel like this one would be best to translate to film. Just so many moments that would look epic on the big screen. There are some negatives as well though. To begin, I didn't really like the start of the game, all the way up until reaching the Chateau. The new 'brute' fights were horrendous. Just the same fight copy-and-pasted into different chapters. They all play out exactly the same and are pretty boring at that. Cutter was also a character that just didn't really stand out to me at all, which is a shame since all of the other characters are so amazing. Finally, I wasn't a fan of the halluginogenic substance which led to what felt like a stroll through the city on acid. Not that I would know what that feels like of course... It may feel like I'm shitting on the game, but that's not the intention. Despite the negatives, Uncharted 3 is an amazing game and a great addition to the franchise. The feeling of adventure is there, especially in the later levels and the final location is just stunning. As always, it's the characters and their interactions that steal the show. The gunplay and trophy list are what we expect of an Uncharted game. Since there are no cheats in this game, getting the gun-related trophies took a bit longer than normal, but I had fun collecting the treasures and miscellaneous trophies. When it first came out, I started the game on Normal and almost completed it again on Hard, only to have my PS3 crash and die, losing all progress. This meant I had to do two more full playthroughs, which is why I took a long break inbetween. Crushing is difficult in certain parts, but nothing you can't overcome. The ability to throw back grenades is an absolute life-saver here. Certain sections, such as the Ship Yard were absolutely brutal, though strangely, the final chapters weren't as hard as I expected them to be. Certainly nothing like Uncharted 2's difficulty at the end. Now, let's see if I can get the next platinum with a bit more time to spare.
Popular Post Ruthless720
Number 18: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt The Witcher 3 became one of my favorite games in early 2016 and I finally got the platinum trophy. There were a few annoying trophies but overall, it wasn't too hard. It was very time-consuming though, taking me 156 hours (with the DLC included). I do recommend getting this platinum because the game is amazing and the platinum is not overly difficult. (Oh, the platinum doesn't show on my profile yet because of stupid auto-updates ) Onto Metal Gear Solid 2! Popular Post Ala-Arska
Adam's Venture: Origins Hero of the day You've saved the world from a religious war Wrong, the only one who can make the world go round is Superman. For a PS4 title, this one's almost as ugly as my prom date. Almost. Adam's Venture: Origins pretty much drops the ball on every department. Not far, but juuust out of reach. Graphics, as stated before, are blurry and dark and dated and unattractive and and... Voice acting is delivered with such boredom, I can feel those "actors" just wanting to get the hell out and grab a beer. Or twelve. Adam sounds just like Guybrush Threepwood from the Monkey Island series. Hope that's not him. Guybrush rules, Adam not so much. Does this game try to be a funny adventure like the best one's from Lucas Arts? Or a puzzle game? Or even a stealth one? Or what? AV: O does have some weird, twisted charm around it. I can't pinpoint it exactly, but in a perverse way this could be a guilty pleasure for me Stressful it sure ain't, so those looking for a relaxing option to play, Adam's got you covered. In filth, you perv

LOL I can see the solo going up to 3 though for sure It's a pretty easy shmup imo, I gave it a two because some waves got a little tricky and also some customize battle repeats here and there. It's really easy if you have someone with you that is cooperating with you. There are more enemies in each wave the more players you have but yeah cooperation is just needed. But you got it solo anyway
Popular Post Jak
#101 Top of the Heap You have mastered the game and collected all there is to collect. I think of this platinum as the reincarnation to my first platinum.. what my first platinum should have been. It's also secondarily a nod/reference to the 101 Power Cells - main and story progressive collectibles - found in JaDTPL, which obtaining all is required for platinum, making this nod that much cooler. I didn't post my 90th plat when I earned it. I think it was around the time the site was having issues with blank profiles and I was affected. When I got everything back online I forgot to do it, or I was just too lazy to do it. It was probably the latter.

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Plat # 195 Fun: 7/10 Difficulty: 5/10 (3/10 with DLC) As with the first Neptunia remake, the sequel remake takes the second game and makes it better. While most of the battle system is the same, the game does introduce a new set of characters that was not in the game the first time and they bring a lot of fire power with them. The lily ranks between each character make its return but is a lot less frustrating as just Nepgear needs to have everyone with a high lily rank instead of everyone like most other Neptunia games. Lily ranks are required along with shares to reach certain endings. Getting the Conquest ending first is a must as it can be missable after you reach rank 8 lily rank with every Goddess/little sister. There's nothing too difficult with the game, just follow a guide and you're good for almost all the trophies. There is a new time consuming element of the game called Stella's Dungeon. Basically you send Stella off into dungeons and you have to equip her with gear she finds from dungeon to dungeon. You have to complete every dungeon with her which means before you can get the trophy for completing all dungeons with her, you need to beat the true ending once. Getting the DLC for Stella is a must so when she dies, you don't lose loot and equipment. Edited March 2, 2017 by Qu1ck57r1k3

Popular Post Lars
#92: Duck Dynasty (PS3): Yes, we all now that this is a horrible game and an easy platinum. It wasn't that bad as i expected though, mainly because i expected 10 hours of horror. I wasn't that bored because you have to move your character. But yes, for the rest it was bad, repetitive missions, strange mechanics. invisible walls everywhere. The racing was the worst though. It didn't matter how big my lead was, my opponents would catch me up with ridicoulous rubberbanding. That was just stupid, although i got the trophy for winning without hitting anyone and reverse finish win in the same race. In the upcoming weeks i have made a small plan for the plats that i want to tackle until i reach my 100th, which will be Horizon Zero Dawn. Icey will be 93, then i will get Funk Of Titans, La Cops, Riptide GP2, Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments, Under Defeat HD and Motorstorm Apocalypse. After my 100th i will quickly finish off Gran Turismo 6. Then i will go on and just play games that i really want to play. That's the plan for the upcoming 2 months Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 Edited March 2, 2017 by lars9612
Popular Post SirDave1988
# 69 - Sly 2 : Band Of Thieves (PS Vita) Unlikely Bandit Unlock all Sly Cooper and the Band of Thieves Trophies Much like the previous HD remasters of PS2 games originally re-released on PS3 then ported to the Vita (if that makes sense XD), it holds up well performance wise on the Vita compared to it's PS3 counterpart. Sly 2 is a good game in essence, however, there are a few frustrating aspects about it. Not even being able to find your way to a mission, let alone undertaking it, largely killed some of the fun for me unfortunately. I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as the 1st one, but it is still fun to play. Hopefully the 3rd and 4th ones have a bit more of an upward trend. I'm not sure if I want to make my next plat (my 70th one) befitting of this milestone or just go for another random one .
Popular Post B1rvine
It can't be for nothing from The Last of Us Remastered Platinum & 100% Played this on PS3, and played it again on PS4. I managed to miss one of Ellie's joke locations during my first playthrough, and oddly enough it was the same one I missed on the PS3 version. I started on grounded mode and did only two playthroughs since I had the option, making me wonder how many people have actually played through without using the backwards trick/glitch. And I found my skills on Factions Multiplayer have seriously rusted, but not enough that I couldn't be a team player. Replaying the game has allowed me to discover lots of little easter eggs and appreciate some of the detail in various areas to make the TLoU world ... come alive (pun)
