Let me see - games that are still in the wrapper

Dantes Inferno

Red Faction Guerilla

007 Bloodstone

Assassins Creed Brotherhood

Infamous (strictly speaking not in a wrapper as its from the Welcome Back pack)

Reason they are untouched - well I simply havent had the time to play them. The only one I actually bought myself is AC:B but I only have it about a month

Sorry but this is stupid. Who would buy a game and leave it? Basically you 're asking who builds a collection of ps3 games -_-

Well, I used to think this way as well so I can't really fault you in any way. With that said, there are reasons for why such unthinkable things occur; allow me to enlighten you...

  1. You come across a deal where you can Buy 2 games and get 1 free at GameStop (happens a lot)
  2. You walk into the game store to pick up your pre-order and see a game (or games) - that you've been thinking about buying - have been marked down under $20... gotta pick them up right?
  3. You receive multiple games as gifts for events like your Birthday, Christmas, whatever...
  4. Some other 4th thing and so on...

There are countless reasons where you might acquire more games than you have time to play them. I happen to enjoy my games one-at-a-time (I don't like skipping around between games/platforms) and now have a couple games on the shelf that I have not started yet due to 1, or more, reasons listed above; those games are...

I'm currently hooked on Ghostbusters and just started GameFly back up for some easy

:platinum: game rentals (1st on the list is Megamind, haha).... my kids are going to love the next streak of games I pop in :yay:

sometimes people buy games for the darkest hour of their life, for a moment where they have no games to play.

sometimes people get games as gifts, and theyre not interrested in them

sometimes people get games as gifts (again) and get tons of them since its their birthday or something, and they dont want to play 15 games at once.

It's also possible that there was a sale on a game too good to pass up, so they got the game and they decided to let it sit while they work on other games. :)

At one time I'd wait until I'd finished one game before buying another. The problem I had is that there would be a gap where I had nothing new to play for a few days so I started buying my next game before finishing what I was currently playing. After a while, I just went overboard and started buying whatever caught my attention or was on sale. Add that to birthday and Christmas presents and voila...huge ass backlog.

The only one I can think of is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I was in GameStop some months ago and they had a buy two get one free sale, so I picked two games and noticed they had a brand new Collector's Edition of AC:B for $30 which meant it was free so I went ahead and picked it up. I haven't started it yet because I haven't finished ACII. My save file is on my launch 60gb PS3 and I've been to lazy to copy the save to my new PS3.
