Kongefar Posted July 20, 2017 Share Posted July 20, 2017 Let me Ax you a question (Saw the Ax ending in 999) Oh my, this is soooo good and I am soooo glad I've waited to start Zero Escape before completing this. I am a bit sad that 999 doesn't have it's own trophy list instead of a combined with VLR under this Vita collection, but I don't mind doing VLR all over again, this time with English voices. The puzzles are more simple here in 999 (IMHO), and I find myself using the lazy hours of work to sneak off once in a while and play just a bit more through the story. The beginning of that castle level was a little annoying because some of the enemies were using instant-death moves, but once my Paladin learned the skill to block such things, I never had a problem. Chronicles of Teddy is Zelda II done right, with a sprinkling of Metroid backtracking. I wish the game had been more evenly difficult (for the most part, it is quite easy, but some portions, like the triangle door in the Star World, are just brutal), but all in all, the game managed to bring back both the good and bad of the 8-bit era, which is fine by me. Dudes, Zodiark didn't mess around. It was a tough battle. It was easy the first 80% of the fight but after that, it went downhill so fast. Still it was a fun fight. Hell of a trilogy. I was happy with my choice in ending. One of my favourite series now. I love how choices from previous games mattered in the end to help save the galaxy.
