Guardians of the Galaxy
Complete Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy

 

While I am not much of a marvel fan, Guardians of the Galaxy is a movie I really like, plus I heard the story in this game was great so I gave it a try. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, great soundtrack as expected, serviceable gameplay that looks flashy, and I did prefer that the game was mostly linear. Also I might be too demanding when it comes to a story in a video game since I found this one to be only ok.

Speaking of ashen remains, after I finished the story I decided to try out the Mimic Tear everyone says is OP. I gave it Rivers of Blood and the Hand of Malenia to use, then sat back and watched the carnage, that thing is an absolute destroyer. Might take it on a tour of NG+ and see how many fights it can solo. 

 

One trophy away from the platinum, in fact I'm one collectable away from the platinum but I won't get around to picking it up until Sunday. Gives me time to think about what to go for next...

Finished my first playthrough of Knack. I felt like this was a prime target for taking out of the backlog, because it's been there for four years. Although it wasn't an amazing game or anything, I still had a good time with it. It's a bit shallow, but there were some memorable moments and I enjoyed it overall. A bit flawed for sure, but definitely not bad.

 

I've only scratched the surface of the trophies here, though. I only grabbed 28% of them by the end of my first run. I've got, at minimum, two full playthroughs to do, and I'm not looking forward to grinding those Crystal Relics out.
