And so, I've finished the first game. The final part offered some challenge as it was easy to make a mistake with bomb disposal. The third battle against Neith wasn't a joke, either. I lost a few times before I managed to defeat her. The battle against Anubis, though. Yeah, very disappointing. At least I'll get to face him again in the sequel.

 

Well anyway, that's the first game. It was pretty solid. Next up, the sequel. From what I've understood, it's much better in terms of everything. Can't wait to see how much.

So I started Endless Eclipse mode and I've been grinding it a lot, I found it pretty fun (this coming from a diehard fan of Berserk haha) but I read a lot of people complaining about it, saying is "hard" or "hell" but it's pretty easy/normal to be honest, if you level up your characters you're good to go and having good accessories helps too.

This is more of a sampling of the trophies I earned the last month. I decided to grab a bunch of games I had started to boost the online trophies and get some of the easy stuff out of the way.

None of the single player trophies glitched on me in Doom so I was happy about that and getting the Arcade Mode trophies out of the way went faster than I thought. I really enjoyed Doom and I might go through the single player in Eternal sooner rather than later.
Got a bunch of easy trophies out of the way in DoA5LR and Puyo Puyo Tetris. After chipping away at EDF2 bit by bit, I was finally able to set aside some time to really invest in the game.

Continuing my goal of getting trophies for online games in my backlog, I cleaned up the remaining trophies from this one and got the Platinum. This was a game given for free over 2 years ago, and I got all trophies from the Explorer's playthrough, but none from the Librarian's. Fortunately another user had opened a boosting session and I jumped in to get the plat, and helped him get it as well. It was over in a couple hours.

  Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

I hate the fact that I have the OR (original launcher) stack forever unobtainable in my profile, and I hate that I put this one in my profile too. OR was a free game in PS Plus so I started playing to see what all the fuss was about and quickly dropped it. When I learned about the new launcher, it was too late to go back to the original one. I still started this one to play with friends, but they all dropped it after a few sessions. So I'm stuck with this game, but I'm not letting it stay incomplete again.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's a fun little game. But it gets stale really fast. Now that it's easier than ever to get all the trophies, I'm going for it, but this trophy list is a buggy mess. Some trophies will not pop because I popped them in the OR stack and I need to link a new Epic account to get them. For now, I'm doing the grindy stuff first before starting over.

Boring game mode continued. I found out the game glitched on me in a good way - for some reason, the AI difficulty started to kick in only after I started the Santeau Darknet file, and I had to  beat several levels after Network 1A to get to that point.

Onto the sequel. Now this is more like it! The gameplay is much better in many things, especially in combat. I especially like throwing enemies which feels satisfying to do. Not only that, but there are more variety of different enemies and they're smarter than in the prequel, which has almost led me to lose a few battles because of that. Oh, and to top it off, the game looks great too, which also includes the cutscenes. Many of them are done in anime-style, and I love it.

It didn't take long before the bosses started to get actually challenging, and perhaps a bit annoying. The battle against Viola AI is easily my least favorite boss in the game, considering how fast she moves, and the lock-on always disappears when she moves too far. By the time it locked on again, she usually managed to surprise attack me. At least she's not too hard, just annoying. The battle against Inhert, though. Far more enjoyable. The second phase was rather unique.

 

I'm also not a big fan of that part where you have to fight enemies, while avoiding crushers. I died once because of those, which sent me back to the beginning of that part, and there are at least four floors full of crushers and enemies. At least it's over, and I don't have to worry about that till NG+.

So grinding Endless Eclipse mode really takes a lot of time haha but the more you play the easier and of course faster. Fun fact: I've watched the 97 anime 4 times, saw 6 times each movie, watched 2016&2017 adaptations (greatest sin), read the golden age arc 3 times, I watched the Memorial edition, and of course read all the manga.
