I am already past halfway and as of right now my progression to the game itself is going excellent as always. Traversing through to another island was very captivating and respectable as always and honestly it looks so good. Now I do think and recall that I have got 100% completion DLC for Iki's island both story mode and exploration. I have learnt some new tricks and power-ups and it help me got what I needed. The new outfit's was awesome and shown differential skills when putting on any of them. I can't remember which one was it but by the time I'm finished with the game and I know for sure which one is it. Time for me to continue back to work and get this game done.

It almost slipped my mind that I had to finish this. If you were guessing that I'd saved that trophy for last, you were right. I still remember the moment I popped the same trophy in the PS5 version, except that I did it in a match. This time, though, I did it in the hideout. Back then, I didn't know you can do it that way, but I can't really blame myself. At least I got myself a good trophy clip.

I wanted to make the platinum trophy clip as memorable as possible, so I thought I'd do something different. The only thing I don't like about it is how I messed up falling all the way down, as my character would've said the quote I wanted (I meant to do this!), which would've summed it up perfectly. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with this. I just had to include that thing as well. That laughter is too good. And yes, I planned this all along.

 

I might as well share the ones that glitched on me, like I mentioned earlier. If you want to see the requirements for these two, see here and here.

 

 

 

Bottom line, it's still an awesome game. Never would've thought that something as simple as this could get me hooked. I'm glad it did, as I've spent almost 350 hours playing it in time of writing this and I still find myself enjoying it. Sadly, I have to say goodbye to it in early June, due to a server shutdown. I might stream it a few times once the deadline draws closer, just so I can make some memories from that time. Until then, I'll play to my heart's content, while also working towards platinums. Speaking of which, I think I've decided my next project. It's not finalized, but it's close.

Ah yes, great; another year, another case of me completing yester-year's Madden title. We're into 2023 now, so it's Madden NFL 22 that I'm navigating across both the PS4 and PS5 stack as I found cheap physical copies for both.

 

From what I can tell, everything is pretty much exactly the same as it was in Madden 21. And 20. And 19. And 18. I didn't play 17, but I hear that was the same too. I don't know what kind of deal EA made with the devil, to be able to sell the same game every year for record profits, but if anyone does know, spot me the devil's number because it is a great grift and I'm at the point where I'd be willing to consider a similar agreement.

 

Hyperbole aside, each year does see minor improvements, and '22 is no different. Where Madden NFL 21 had identical Trophy lists across both generations, EA has now decided to limit the introduction of this year's paltry new features to the next-gen version, with a direct impact on Trophies; the PS4 list has only 17 Trophies, the PS5 list has 20. Which is still ridiculous for a full price title, but alas. Two out of the three PS5-only Trophies are relatively trivial, but the third, Momentum Stealer, is not.

 

 

The new Momentum feature is admittedly a well-conceived addition, and it's not even implemented all that badly; each game, there is a bar visible at the top of the screen that will fill in favour of whichever team makes the best plays. At certain thresholds, bonuses are unlocked that give them a further advantage (such as adding a random chance of the opposing team's audible failing due to crowd noise). It's a fun little way of rewarding a player's performance, and adds a further level of strategy to what is still a fairly poor simulation of the sport.

 

This Trophy, however, is a right pain to unlock - and glitched in positive and negative ways to boot. The long and short of it is that one team must max out the bar, then throw a Pick Six in the other team's endzone. In the way of negative glitches, this does not seem to unlock with computer-controlled players making the catch, and will sometimes also just flat-out not register even if you are in control while making the catch. As for the positive part of the glitch, while boosting with @JigglyCans (shout-out to him for being an excellent booster), the Trophy popped for both of us at the same time, despite me being the person to meet the requirements. It took us maybe 90 minutes to get it to successfully unlock, and we were both elated not to have to repeat the process.

 

At least it is achievable now, though. If you look at the list of First Achievers, you'll see that this one was completely unachievable for almost two full months after release. Not sure whether to be thankful or surpised that EA could be bothered to patch it. It's no wonder that the Madden Trophy lists have been mostly the same for half a decade - developers Tiburon seem utterly incapable of adding correctly-functioning gameplay-based Trophies. At least Momentum Stealer has been dropped for Madden NFL 23, which instead has a pointless 100 hour plus grind. Yay!

I'm glad I went back to finish this trilogy - something I've started 8 years ago. Now, it'll be a while before I play Mass Effect: Andromeda, but despite the negative reputation the game has, I'm excited to see what this new take on the franchise offers.

Me and my partner finished the final painting. There's still around 150 Teensies left, scattered across paintings 3-5 and the Back to Origins levels, so I'm almost done with this part of the game.
The challenges are working as expected too, so it's only a matter of doing quick daily sessions to get more cups towards Awesomeness Level 11.

Yes, this is my next project. After seeing the trophy list showing up earlier this year, I decided to revisit this game before I try something different. What it will be remains to be seen. I'll try to decide once I get this done.

 

Anyway, there's not much else to say. It's still a fun rail shooter with good music. However, something I find strange is that I managed to get the score related trophies, without achieving the requirements mentioned in the trophy guide. Maybe the latest patch made achieving them easier or they changed the score? Who knows.

 

Also, I said this once and I'll say it again. I've never seen any other trophy that has two different requirements. I should be grateful, because no matter what, I can't achieve a 100% shot down rate. The best I managed to get was 99% in the first level. With some practice, it might be possible, but I'll pass.

Alright I just gonna formulate a planned to get everything all done at 100% completion and I'll be happy as ever. I might be putting this as my next milestone for it but let's see what happens next.
