Depends on how you count. My PS 4 and Wii are plugged in and ready to go.

But to play PS 3, Xbox or WiiU I only have to take out the HDMI cable for the PS 4 and plug in the HDMI for any of the other consoles.

my ps2 have died on me years ago I believe back in 2006 or so, though it's surprisingly still able to read games that only released on CD format like those made by the low budget Japanese developers called " 3D publisher "

1st one was my fault. It was an NES clone (Micro Genius), and I used a random A/C adapter instead of looking for its proper one…and fried it about 10 minutes in. I was 10 or so and didn’t know any better .

2nd one was my step-daughter's Pikachu Gameboy Colour. She really beat the snot out of that thing, and I'm actually surprised it lasted as long as it did!

Majority of my consoles and games were actually stolen in a robbery, but that's not to say I haven't broken a few.

 

PS2 (Silver) Stolen. Very special gift from my Aunt in the Christmas of '06.

Nintendo 64 Stolen. Another very special Christmas gift from my Mom in '11.

Nintendo Gamecube (Silver) Stolen. My first console ever and a gift from the parents in '05. (These 3 consoles were very special to me as I've clocked in over 1000+ on each. Fucking heartless robbers.)

Wii Stolen. Christmas gift from '09. (Honestly didn't mind too much when it got stolen, only wanted it for Smash and it was a disappointing console anyway.)

PSVIta (White) ​Broken. (Dropped in the toilet when I was washing my hands. The last game I had loaded up was FEZ, so I blame Phil.)  

Nintendo DS Broken. (My Brother, God love 'em, bumped into me while I was walking down the stairs. You know what happened next.)

Nintendo DSI Broken. (Literally tomahawked in half by my friend. No further questions.)

 

So yeah, basically lost half of what I had in 4 years.

1. Atari 2600: my mom threw it away but in her defense I told her to throw it away, I was 8 and stupid, luckly I bough another one, many years later (First ever console and my one of two of Atari 2600)
2. Playstation 2: It worked but the av cable broke and I had no spare at the time, so in the end I sold my PS2 to my friend who got the cable. (this was my first PS2 and one of three PS2, the other two work and I have)

Sounds more like hammerfingers Personally, and despite playing a lot of action games, I've never broken a single controller. Though my Logitech cordless action controller for the PS2 kinda slowly died off. Probably because of all the times my brother dropped it on the floor by accident (though I did also drop it a few times myself ).

I'm guessing PC doesn't count.  I've owned a lot of consoles in my day, but I generally didn't hang on to any of the older ones, and I've recently transitioned back to PC... so the PS3 and all PS3 and PS4 games were sold off.  The remaining PS4 is basically just being used for exclusive titles and as a blu ray player going forward, and maybe the occasional multiplatform game that's fun to play when friends are over (Borderlands, GTA, etc).
