Popular Post DamagingRob
Final Review- Indigo Prophecy I don't have much to add about the story. But it's good, and also a bit weird. It looks as though the entire game is going to alternate between Lucas and the 2 cops trying to find him (Carla and Tyler). Beating the shit out of Tyler with Carla in a boxing match was fun. Gameplay is a bit more of a mixed opinion.. There was a stealth section with Lucas as a kid that was fairly annoying. And Carla had a chapter, where you had to keep alternating and to keep her breath steady, while looking for files in the basement. Then there's these quicktime events that can best be described as being like that Simon Says game. Spoiler You have to move the analog sticks in the direction shown, and do it quickly. I can't imagine what some of this stuff will be like on Hard difficulty; hope I can keep up. But other than those issues, I like the game so far. And am really interested in seeing where the story goes. At this point, I'd probably give it a rating. Time played: 4+ hours. Trophy progress: 7/49 for 10% and an E rank. Did it lower my completion? Yes.

Welcome to the 5th edition of the Kill Your Completion series. Most of you probably have an idea of what goes on here, but if you still have no clue, here's the previous edition of the thread.https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/49866-kill-your-completion-cyoa/ The Premise Participants will each choose a list of 5-15 0% games from their backlog and post them here so everyone can follow along. These games don't have to be pre loaded on your profile, as long as you own them already and haven't earned a trophy they count. Participants will start a new game from that list every couple days for the next month. o.O They WILL then post their thoughts on each game, and write a short review on the final day for each game. This can take any shape or form each person desires. I've tweaked the rules just slightly from the last event. Instead of a hard 10 games, 3 days each rule, or complete freedom, I've come up with something in between. This time you can select 5-15 games to start. I would prefer people do 5/6, 10/3, or 15/2, but if you have a valid reason for only being able to do 8 or 12 games, that would be acceptable. I just felt the last event was a little too chaotic with people starting games on completely random days and times. I'd also like to see people get the minimum 3 hours per game so I feel like more than 15 games would be cutting each one too short, I don't really care if you have no life and can do 5 hours every day. I'll continue to make updates over the next few days as I'm kind of rushed for time now. Of the 8 participants who finished the first event, the biggest completion drop was under 5%, and the average was around 2.5%. In the 2nd run we had a participant drop a staggering 11.5%. It really just depends on how many games you've played and how close to 100% you already are.How do I choose my games? Up to you. RNG, consult an Oracle, ask a friend, post a status update, pick ones you've been looking forward to, or any combination of the above. You could also post games in the 4th KYC thread and ask for help there. What happens if I finish a game in under 3 days? Again, up to you. Start something else, work on one of your previous games, whittle, macrame, etc. This is acceptable and I fully expect this to happen, but it should not be the norm for your games. How long should I play my game? The main component of this event is your perceptions and review. I suggest a minimum of three hours per game, so that you have at least a base grasp of story and concepts. Again, this is the bare minimum suggested time. I realize many of us have jobs and families and yada-yada... That is why we get three days per game. How does this all work? Really? You didn't read any of the above? Here's the TL:DR version, choose a bunch of games, post them here. Start a fresh game November 1st, play that game three or more hours over the next couple days. When it's time, throw that one in the trash and start game 2, 3, etc. Tell us what you thought of game 1, 2, 3, etc. Have fun. Its the first time I see this event and its really nice Im always trying my best to keep my completion up. Popular Post dertswa687o
Alright folks, I'm gonna be joining late. I haven't gotten a trophy since October anyway so let's just pretend I signed up before it started. My list: Odin Sphere Leifthrasir (9th-11th) - I know almost nothing about this game. I think it's 2D? Batman: Arkham Knight (12th-14th) - I got this a year ago but never got around to it. I've played Asylum and City which were great. I'm interested in how the Batmobile affects the game. Guacamelee: STCE (15th-17th) - It's a Metroidvania so it has to be awesome. Final Fantasy X (18th-20th) - The only FF games I've played are half of 6, 13, 13-2, and Type-0. 6 was good but I stopped playing when I got to the World of Ruin. The encounter rate on the PSX version was way too high so it just frustrated me. 13 wasn't as bad as everyone says. 13-2 wasn't great. Type-0 was bad. So who knows how 10 will be. Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time (21st-23rd) - It's Ratchet & Clank so it has to be awesome. I'll need to hook my PS3 up for this. The Last of Us Remastered (24th-27th) - I've heard nothing but praise for this game. Frankly I don't know that much about it and I've barely seen any gameplay. Apparently the story is great. Star Ocean: TLH Remastered (28th-Till The End Of Time) - I got 1000G for this game on Xbox. Also the game releases on the 28th so it's not really part of my backlog. But I want to do it again because I'm crazy and love battle trophies. Stats: Spoiler I have 99.11% completion so I expect a huge drop, but I'll make it back up to 100% eventually.

Popular Post PerryToxteth
Game No. 3 Eventide: A Slavic Fable Final Review Trophies Earned: 9/28 15% E ranking Time Played: 1 hour Overview: Finally flew back into town last night so managed to get only one hour of gaming into this before I got too tired and headed to bed. Yeah, I didn't get the prescribed three hours in, but this game is by Artifex Mundi so I knew what this would be when I selected it for this slot. If you're unfamiliar with Artifex Mundi games, they are point-and-click puzzle games centering around hidden object puzzles. They are a very relaxing kind of game to play, perfect to wind the day down to before bed. The kids day might call it "chillax." Some might label Artifex Mundi titles a trophy grab, and the trophies certainly are easy, but they don't fall within the gratuitous trophy grab obscenity realm, like a My Name is Mayo. This game's story starts with your character named Mary, driving to see Grandma, who owns a Slavic-theme amusement park. Suddenly, poor Grandma gets kidnapped by a giant moth creature. Dang thing just ripped Grandma's roof off from her home and grabbed her. And that's as far as I got. So yes, true to form, it follows the proverbial Artifex Mundi story theme of falling into the campy/ corny spectrum. Different from past games I have played, this game doesn't have a optional side game like Mahjong or Dominoes. In games past, if the hidden object puzzles were too hard (really???), you could opt out and play a side game. Not so in this game, but Eventide does have collectibles that are needed for trophies, so you need to be paying attention to your surroundings. To advance the story in these games, you find objects and tools and have to figure out how to use them in your surroundings to advance the story. These puzzles aren't Mensa-caliber stumpers, but they can be clever and they're definitely entertaining. They're not that complicated and usually if you are stuck, you have overlooked something. Such was my case last night, as I was stuck for 20 minutes and almost did a web search for a walkthrough until I stumbled across something obvious. I'll chalk that up to jet lag. Trophies: Pretty similar to other Artifex Mundi titles. Some story progression, some based on hidden object puzzles (no mistakes, beat it in less than a minute, etc.). There are some missbles though with the collectibles in that once you advance the story, there are points where you can't return to grab any collectibles you missed. They are cumulative though, so if you missed just one, if you played a second playthrough, the trophy would unlock once you found it. Final Thoughts: I like Artifex Mundi games. They are good for "passive" gaming sessions. Easy platinums? Sure. But I've done enough mindless grinding hour after hour for some stupid bronze trophy, so I feel it equals out. Watch for these games on sale, you can usually grab them for a couple of bucks. Next Up: Truck Racer

Popular Post Melanogaster1987
Game #3 of 10: Ratchet & Clank [2002] OK, maybe choosing this game was cheating a bit. R&C is not a new experience for me - I played the original to death on the PlayStation2, and would have gone well beyond the requirements for the platinum had the PS2 included trophy support. But it must have been about 9 years since I last touched this game, so I thought it would be fun to revisit an old favourite and see if it still holds up in 2017. Many of you will know what Ratchet & Clank is all about, but for the uninitiated, here's a quick rundown: R&C is a platformer/third-person shooter, with some puzzling thrown in. You play as Ratchet, a frustrated mechanic who yearns for an epic space adventure, but who can't find a crucial ignition system to get his ship off the ground. Then there's Clank, a defective sentry robot who escapes from the factory where he was built, jets off and crash-lands onto Ratchet's home planet. The two run into each other, and fortunately, Clank's circuitry has just the system that Ratchet's ship needs! Clank tells Ratchet about the plot hatched by the game's main villain, Chairman Drek - building a new home planet for his race by harvesting the choicest parts from every other planet in the galaxy, no matter what the consequences are for those poor planets and their inhabitants. With their newly-operational spaceship, Ratchet and Clank must join forces and blast their way through space in order to foil Drek's plans and save the galaxy. That's the basic story, so how does it play? Well, the platforming is absolutely rock-solid. The controls just work for platforming - simple as that. There was clearly a lot of thought put into the level design - especially the first couple of stages, which introduce the game's basic mechanics extremely well. Some more complex stuff comes later, including a jetpack upgrade for Clank which lets you boost for higher and farther jumps, and a grappling hook which can be used to swing between platforms. It's all done with great care; and as a result, you always feel that the game's difficulty curve is ramping up nicely, rather than you just being tossed in at the deep end. It's the shooting that steals the show, though, and it's all down to the super-creative set of weapons that you can buy. Ratchet of course has his famous wrench for melee attacks, and when it comes to firearms, as well as standard stuff like a sub-machine gun, rocket launcher and flamethrower, the developers came up with some VERY creative ideas here. These include the "Suck Cannon", a gun that vacuums up small enemies and lets you fire them back out as ammo later on, and the "Glove of Doom", which lets you throw a capsule containing small dog-like drones, which then home in on and blow up nearby foes. There are one or two that feel rather useless (the Walloper and the Drone Device don't get much love from me), but for the most part, you'll be switching often and really making use of the diversity of your arsenal. It all comes back to good level design; so many areas are made such that there are certain weapons that are clearly better than others for that particular job, but aren't so suited to one weapon that you feel like you have no other options as for how to blow the baddies away. This means that you rarely feel stuck if you're out of ammo for a certain gun, and no one weapon feels overpowered (well, except for the ultra-destructive R.Y.N.O., but that's more of a reward for grinding massive amounts of currency post-game than a standard weapon). Combat's not all good though; if there one big criticism I have of Ratchet & Clank, it's that some of the shooting sections can feel clunky due to two things: (a) the lack of a strafe function, which sometimes forces you to perform awkward acrobatics to dodge enemy fire, whilst being unable to shoot back, and (b) inability to move after you switch to first-person view mode - you can either remain in the normal third-person view and be nimble but inaccurate (when you can even get shots off), or switch to first-person, and be a sharpshooter but a sitting duck - pick your poison! As a result of these drawbacks, I sometimes preferred to just hang back and use my trusty Glove of Doom to kill enemies from around a corner, which, while effective, wasn't a very satisfying way to play. In addition to shooting and platforming, there are a fair amount of puzzle sections, which breaks the more hectic action up nicely. A few times throughout the game, you'll stumble across gadgets which can help you get past certain obstacles or locked doors, and as with the platforming tools, you're given a nice gentle introduction to how they work before being gradually introduced to harder puzzles. These are great - a nice challenge to get your brain in gear for a few minutes at a time, but not so hard that you'll find yourself tearing your hair out. I particularly liked the sections where you play as just Clank, who is too small and lacks the weapons to be an effective fighter, but can order small robots around to blow up enemies and unlock doors in order to make progress. Now for a few words about the remastering for the PS3. The cartoonish art style means that remastering doesn't provide quite the obvious graphical boost that you might notice in a game that was aiming to look photorealistic, but many of the textures are clearly sharper. The lava textures on Planet Gaspar are showing their age, but nothing else seems to scream "early PS2 game" at you. Also, the sound in some places is a lot richer than I remember, but I'm not sure whether that's down to the remaster or down to me playing on a much more modern TV with better speakers. Finally, there are a couple of very minor criticisms I have - the shortage of checkpoints on certain planets can feel a little bit harsh at first (especially compared to most modern games), but it's nothing that bad once your skills improve. Also, that trophy for getting 1,000,000 bolts is just ridiculous without grinding (you're looking at maybe 4 or 5 playthroughs for this one, whereas everything else can be polished off on your second playthrough at latest). I note that the the trophy image says "100K"; an extra zero somehow crept in there! My rating: Platinum/Gold/Gold Some cumbersome combat stops this from being perfect, but still a whole load of fun a decade and a half on. If you haven't tried R&C yet, what are you waiting for? --- Trophies earned in this game: 20 (2, 5, 13) for 525 points [50% completion] Total trophies earned in this event: 37 (2, 8, 27) for 825 points Current completion rate: 58.42% [Down 1.41% since start of event] Down 0.88% due to Pinball Arcade Down 0.58% due to Thief Down 0.09% due to Ratchet & Clank Up 0.14% due to other games not part of this event
Popular Post Metal Slime King
I played some Y's Origins today for it's 1st day. I've had it sitting on my system for awhile now, I'm not sure Y I didn't start it in the last event. This is a departure from the earlier games (most of which I've played) in a couple of ways. First it's a prequel of sorts so it doesn't feature the main protagonist from all the other games, though I hear he makes some form of cameo. Second, whereas the other games were adventures where you travelled around a large area with different villages, caves, ruins and dungeons and stuff, it seems this game takes place entirely in one tower. It's certainly not unusual to see a tower in a Y's game but it's unusual to only see a tower. In Celceta (the only other Y's games with trophies I've played) there were multiple playable characters that you could switch between on the fly, so there was a bit of novelty there. In Origins there are multiple playable characters but it seems you pick one for each run, which isn't as fun. I picked melee axe girl for my first run. I got up to the first real boss encounter and it was pretty impressive, I'd say probably more interesting than any of the bosses from Celceta. So that's encouraging. One of the trophy descriptions reads; "Kill 10.000 ennemies". Apparently Wiktionary lists an "ennemie" as an "Obsolete spelling of enemy" and this game is supposed to be 800 years in the past so maybe that was on purpose? Popular Post DamagingRob
Day 1- Thief In Thief you play as a thief (surprise, surprise ) named Garrett. The game starts with you robbing a place, when a girl named Erin shows up. I guess your boss thought you needed some help? The two of you seem to have some history, and you're tasked with following her. She then kills a guard, which Garrett doesn't appreciate. He only does so when there's a legitimate reason to. And so he steals her claw (an item she uses to get around with and kill people). The pair come to their destination, and witness a group of men performing some kind of ritual. Garrett thinks they should call off the job, at that point. Erin disagrees. After fighting with Garrett to get her claw back, she falls through the skylight and into the energy being channeled by the ritual. Then Garrett falls through as well, but manages to shoot a rope arrow to keep him from suffering the same fate. But is knocked out right after. Fast forward an entire year, and Garrett wakes up to find the city has been plagued by a disease called "The Gloom." And Erin? Dead maybe? (I have a feeling she'll return, but maybe I'm just being optimistic. And it needs to be said. Garrett, you dumbass...) At this point, we meet up with Basso and take on another thieving job. And that's the story so far. The game does seem to borrow a lot from Dishonored's setting, as @Melanogaster1987 mentioned. I'd say it feels like a stripped down version of that game. Less powers, less types of enemies, etc. But there are a lot of similarities. Each story mission (of only 2-3 I've played) has you tasked with stealing something. There are plenty of items you can buy from vendors in between missions to help with this. And you probably want to avoid getting spotted, as Garrett doesn't come as well-armed as Dishonored's Corvo. Guards can still spot you in the shadows if they get close enough, which has led to me failing a bit already. :/ You can do a quick run to move from point A to point B faster, but makes more noise. And there are a number of side tasks you can try to complete during each mission. Usually involving things like not being spotted/taking damage, or collecting every piece of loot. Loot gives you a bit of money, which can be spent on items in between missions. Food heals you, flowers restore your focus ability (this lets you see important items in blue), rope arrows let you shoot beams so you can reach higher areas, water arrows put out fires, and regular arrows for killing enemies (I guess?). Fire arrows and blunt arrows are also available, but I haven't bought or used them. And you can also buy expensive loot items and upgrades to your abilities. I bought the wrench, which allows me to unscrew and use vents. Besides buying stuff in between story missions, you can undertake side missions from Basso or a couple of other people. These usually involve finding a building in the open-world hub area, breaking in, dealing with a few guards, and finding an item. Simple enough. There was one, though, that was a free DLC mission. I shouldn't have attempted it, as I just ended up wasting a bunch of time.. This mission is called The Bank Heist, and has you breaking into a bank's vault. After knocking out everyone, scouring the place for loot, and entering the vault, I got stuck. After watching a video for the mission, I found I needed an item that's not available for purchase yet (unless different vendors in the city sell different things). So, with no way to disarm the traps in the vault, I exited out of the mission. They shouldn't have let you start the thing, if you couldn't complete it. ...But maybe there was another way to. In any case, I won't be going back to it anytime soon. All in all, it seems like a decent game. I wouldn't say it's all that great, though. I can certainly see why already a lot didn't care for it. The hub area is very confusing, and difficult to navigate. I don't think there's a sprint button. You can do the fast run thing I mentioned earlier. But after a few uses, Garrett gets winded.. And lockpicking is just as fun as it was in Assassin's Creed Unity: not very. So as of now, my opinion is a bit mixed. But I like stealth games, so I'll keep going in hopes I get some enjoyment out of it. Time played: 3 hours. Trophy progress: 6/38 for 8% and a D rank.
Popular Post Kittet3
Game 2: Unravel So I’ve been sick and miserable the last week (now I’m just miserable until I figure out how to complete my take-home programming exam), so I didn’t get to play this game as much as I expected, but here’s my review. No cats and no fellow yarn-ions, unfortunately. You are a small yarn doll with cat ears and no mouth and you start out in the hub: Grandma’s cozy living room. There’s an empty scrapbook on a table, but as you move forward, you find picture frames with pictures in them which serve as the level select. I only played the first level and half of the second level. Each level has beautiful artwork. Now, the human-yarn-cat is still connected to the yarn ball back home, so you have a string of red yarn trailing you. This red yarn helps you transverse the environment: lasso things and climb up them, use it as a vine-swing, tie it to pivot points to make a slingshot, slowly unravel it to climb down a steep cliff, use it to make a ramp to pull things up/down, etc. You also have to replenish your string by finding spools in the levels, otherwise, you won’t be able to continue forward as you’ll be out of yarn. However, these spools aren’t actually hidden, so it serves more as a checkpoint instead of an actual mechanic of gameplay. There’s also no notifying when you're out of string other than your yarn buddy looking a little less full, but this doesn’t affect anything much besides you have to get the spool. After each level, the scrapbook in the hub gets photos in it that you can look at. The environment is beautiful and beautifully crafted. They programmed little animations the yarn person does at certain points (such as looking at the background when there’s a memory happening, or rubbing its head when it crashes to the ground at certain points). The puzzles are integrated really nicely: it doesn't feel like similar games where you solve a puzzle, walk a bit, solve a puzzle, continue, but rather that you are actually trying to transverse this environment. I would say that a few puzzles are a bit unfairly difficult (i.e., you have to tie your string to a series of pivots a certain way to make a functional ramp), but most of them are a nice balance between easy and hard. Dying is heartbreaking. Overall, it’s a beautiful game with a cozy atmosphere and a nice puzzle balance. Highly recommend. Overall score: 8.5/10 Trophies Earned: 1/26 Times Played: 1.5 Hours Completion Rate: 54.80 (Down 1.04 (also due to other games I started to maintain my trophy streak (up to 14 days now ?) Are the playthroughs different enough that I would want to read them all? If not, then I would just do good and skip through the other two.

If you want to avoid a 4th playthrough, I'd recommend not playing it blind (I missed Matchmaker on my blind run, and had to do a 4th). It's not that long, though.
Popular Post Edward_FOX_86
Long time no write eheh sorry guys. This time its not cause I've been busy its cause I've been way too unbusy (ok maybe that's not even a word). This past week has been crazy cause I've been having way too much time to game. Things at work have been slow or rather non existent. I work in tourism and this is the low season so I haven't been getting work. Anyhow about my second Game --> Kingdom Hearts 2 PS4 Basically I'm gonna be pretty straight forward Its not worth buying this if you have the Ps3 version. Graphics are pretty much the same, same gameplay no new add ons and actually this Ps4 version had some bugs that I believed were fixed with a patch. For instance the worse of them all , the game would sometimes crash when attempting to save and your data would get corrupted. OPS there goes Disney and Square Enix Big Co-op Game down the toilet. I mean that's the worst that can happen on a game and even worst on a 30+ hour RPG. Other than that I really Love this franchise It might seem like i did not but I do love it. I had both games 1.5 and 2.5 on the Ps3 and decided to trade them for the Ps4 version. I finished the frst game and I really enjoyed it even being a kinda old game. I've played it for more than one hour and for now I'll let it sit. The fact is I got FFXV and I'm not going to swap games but I do not want to play 2 rpgs at the same time so for now I'm sticking with FFXV which I haven't got that far to form na opinion so Bonus Game Maybe ? Also I got the trophy for winning the FUT draft in FIFA 17 so I'm pretty happy with myself . ts a guareented plat now I think.
Popular Post dertswa687o
Game 1 - Odin Sphere Leifthrasir This game is pretty unique. It's more or less a 2D hack and slash with RPG elements. I guess the gameplay reminds me of Dust: An Elysian Tail a bit. Anyways in the game there are 5 protagonists and you go through each one of their stories which have 7 chapters each. Each chapter has a little story part, then you run through a map fighting enemies and exploring a little to reach a boss at the end. Beat the boss, a little story part again, rinse and repeat. I only got through chapter 4 of the first character in about 2:30, so I reckon it'll take around 25 hours to finish in the end. I enjoyed the hack and slash gameplay. It did feel a bit spammy but it was fun. I do feel like the game wants you to stop and do stuff in the menus quite often though. To use an attacking potion during battle, you have to pause the game and select it. You can map 4 skills to the special attack buttons (very similar to the Tales series) or you can pause it and use a skill through the menu. There should've been a "quick potion" or "quick heal" button to help the gameplay flow better. Some things I didn't care for was the game's alchemy system and skill leveling up. The alchemy is pretty straightforward as you just mix two materials you pick up to make potions, but it feels somewhat unnecessary since you can pick up potion drops all the time or buy them from a shop. Skills are leveled up using this resource you naturally pick up while defeating enemies, but it doesn't feel like you get very much each stage. Also eating food gives you experience which is weird. I am a bit worried that the game is going to get repetitive. I hope I'm not running through the same areas with each character. I mean, the game is functionally the same no matter the map, but I'd like a little more variety than 7 locations at least. I want the stories to cross over more too. Besides the character I'm playing as, I've only seen 1 (maybe 2) of the other protagonists so far. Popular Post Kevvik
Game #4: Way of the Samurai 3 Day 1-2/Initial Impressions Time played: 4.5 hrs This is a 3D action adventure game. You play a samurai who has been on the losing end of a big battle. Your beaten body gets dragged by a couple of sympathetic villagers to their place for you to recover. Going outside you meet a retired samurai who gave it up because real Honor had become a lost commodity among so-called samurai who had basically become bullies. From here you move out to find a story to follow with whatever level of morality you wish to employ. You can kill bad guys/good guys/both at your discretion. You can kill people or just knock them out, using the blunt side of your weapon. You can do jobs (read sidequests) for brokers to earn money. Learn skills to give yourself more attack options with a variety of weapons, though the focus is swords. You can recruit partners (I haven't yet). There are scripted and unscripted encounters. There seems to be a lot to do even though I suck at any but the most basic fighting so far. While led you work towards specific endings in story mode, you can end the game generically anytime you want to be going to the world map and leaving the country. This gives you an ending and a title based on actions, completions, etc. Each completed game awards points which help earn you cosmetic extras. The storyline is interesting, involving competing clans, warlords and varying levels of what defines honor for you and some NPCs. I farmed up a few points and titles early and am learning that I should also have been farming up health and weapons as progress carries over to the next run through. We'll see how everything goes or if I try to power up a bit more. Like I said, I am not the most talented samurai thus far. Death doesn't feel cheap, it's more me. I like how the characters are developing and the idea of looking for multiples endings (there are 20ish to find). I've been looking forward to starting this for a while and we'll be keeping going with it. Trophies earned: 11/51, 17% for C rank Score so far: 7.5/10
Popular Post Myu
Day 12 - Game 2 Dungeon Travelers 2 Time played : 9 hours Completion rate : 86.77% (-0.95% since the beginning of the event) Dungeon Travelers 2 is a dungeon crawler from 2013. You are Fried, a man obsessed with monsterology and your job is to seal monsters into your Grand Sealbook to help reduce their ever increasing population. On your first mission, you get trapped underground and meet Alisia and Melvy, two childhood friends that are here to help you. Alisia is from the Fighter class and Melvy is a mage. The story is very basic : you get a mission, you go seal the monster with your team and you go back to headquarters to report. Being the second game of the franchise, there are a lot of private jokes and references to the first game and I don't understand any of them, the 1st game being in Japanese. Some dialogues are still very funny though. There's this comic duo you encounter in every dungeon and they frequently breach the 4th wall.7 There's also a lot of references to other games and anime. It makes the tutorials less boring So far, I got a new member to join my team in every chapter. I now have a Spieler, a Maid (yes, that's a class in this game...) and a Scout. When they reach lvl15, you have the possibility to upgrade their class. For example, the Maid can become a Bard that will help with buffs or a Dancer with debuff skills. They also change costume which is pretty nice. The dungeons are very short and there's nothing to do in them, except opening treasure chests and finding the boss. Fried has the ability to transform mobs and bosses into Seal Books that have different effects. Since the beginning of the game, the only book I've equipped is a book that ups the enemy encounters. There are not that many enemies in the dungeons and I often have to wander aimlessly for a while to grind a couple of levels or to find better equipment. I wish they did it just like in Demon Gaze and Operaton Abyss/Babel, where you get an enemy encounter every time you go through a door. You can only get new equipment from treasure chests and monster drops (and also from a wandering seller, but those are so expensive that it's really not worth it) and it takes a while to find something useful. When I got the game, I noticed the 16+ PEGI rating and it was kinda intrigued because the game's cover is pretty innocent. Well I think male players will be very happy with this title because there is a ton of CGs with very-lightly dressed ladies of all kinds because guess what, the so-called « monsters » are in fact human-shaped and apparently, nobody told them you're supposed to wear clothes. 10 minutes into the game 'Monsters' This game is full of fan service. When you defeat a boss, you get a CG, there also are scenes and dialogues between two expeditions and of course, you get a CG. And let's not even talk about the class costumes. Funny things is, the MC is not really disturbed by all that nudity. I think Dungeon Travelers is not bad but it's not a good dungeon crawler either. I prefer Operation Babel/Abyss for the lengthy dungeons, the interesting story and the great chara-design. Dungeon Travelers is lacking on many points and I just hope it won't take too long to plat it.
