Episode 1-12: Asuta Jimon, a runaway, is wandering the streets at night when he has a chance encounter with a young girl collapsed beside her tricycle. In need of a place to stay, Asuta decides to play along and accepts her offer, adopting the nickname "Dva."

Little does Dva know, this cute girl is Kate Hoshimiya, the leader of Zvezda, a secret organization bent on world conquest. A Anime from my never ending backlog(I wonder which of my backlogs is bigger between Anime and Games), It was unplanned to watch it but since it was one of the anime leaving crunchyroll next Friday, I ended up watching 2 or 3/4 episodes a day.

 

The unaired episode was not on crunchyroll(to no surprise) so I had to watch it on a anime website and it reminded me why I rarely watch anime on anime websites. Bad quality, only one language option (like Eng Dub only for older anime that has one) etc.

Though going from the title, you may find something a lot different. Its actually mostly an anime about the light novel industry in Japan

 

Was actually really good, funny in places and was interesting regarding the industry which is one I do enjoy.

 

The only issue I have is it dropped a lot of plot in the last episode and a large plot point 2/3's in but never dealt with it, not sure if its because its getting another season or what.

First time I get to watch a Anime Movie(that's not a Ghibli) in a Cinema in Norway but of course I had go to Haugesund to watch it(the closeset Cinema to where I live don't show it)

It was a bit unusual for me to watch with Norwegian Subs instead of the usual English Subs.

Naruto (episodes 56-85)

 

 

So, I finished the 2nd and 3rd arcs, which were pretty epic. The conclusion of the 3rd one was especially powerful. In some way, it splits the series into "before" and "after". I also felt like the pacing has become a little better, the "Shonen episode recap syndrome" was not as strong ?. I watched until somewhere in the middle of the 4th arc, and then kinda stopped. I'll probably come back to Naruto soon and finish that arc at least, we'll see.

 

Jiraiya has become my favourite character. Sorry, Kakashi.

One episode in, I'm already hooked. I wouldn't have expected this girl and this show to plant themselves into my soul so fast. I was like "Why is everyone talking about this show, and why is this girl's face everywhere?". After 1 episode, some clips and a few manga scans, I know why, and I want more. 

 

The show is about a girl who started bullying (or messing with, if you don't think this word fits here) a quiet guy she meets at school, and how their relationship develops after that. Even though it starts with her literally making him cry, somehow the show becomes super cute and adorable as you learn more about the characters. I like the animation style. The reactions and faces Nagatoro makes are very expressive, the original mangaka drew some interesting ones, for sure.

Anyway, this is probably not the most unique show ever, but I can't wait to watch more.

I saw the trailer on an old vhs tape I was testing on a VCR player, and I thought "that looks really studio ghibli" 

Though It's not from studio Ghibli 

Even though it looks it and the theme is not for kids imo. 

 

But in search, Hayao Miyazaki may have helped a little, which may explain why it looks studio ghibli and is darker than it appears.

Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town (complete, enjoyment 8/10)

It was fairly good, there are some likable characters in it (like Riho & Selen), but I did find the MC's personality kinda annoying... basically he's like a Lv99 character from an RPG, but acts like a Lv1 the entire series. ?

 

Cells at Work! Code Black (complete, enjoyment: 6.5/10)

This was basically a health documentary in an anthropomorphic/anime format. ? Honestly I found most of it kinda boring, I think it's a spin-off of another series though? So maybe I would've enjoyed it better if I watched that first... Either way though, I don't have much more interest in this series. ?

I'm not sure if i like it or not. The adaption of a stage play into an anime is unique, and it has an insane quality when it comes to how it's shot, how it looks, the details in the scenes, animations etc. but i've found it quite boring so far, can't really tell why tho.

A cyberpunk movie i never heard about. 

There's a manga, and the film shares the universe and some characters with it, but the actual film has a completely different storyline.

Basically, World War lll happens, now we're in a futuristic utopia, where humans and cyborgs live together, and there's some creatures called bioroids, that are slaves genetically created to serve humans within the city, and the plot is about war, mechas, and a mystery surrounding those bioroids.

Emilico is a cheerful, newly created Doll who serves a rather soft-spoken master named Kate. Despite their difference in personalities, Emilico does what she can to carry out the needs of her master. As she learns more about her role and duty, Emilico begins to meet her fellow Dolls and their respective masters and comes to know more about the purpose of her existence.

"Do not fret over trivial matters," says one of the rules to which all Dolls must abide. But how could the ever-curious Emilico do so in the face of the deep secrets that the Shadows House holds?

Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san (Episodes 2-12)

 

 

Finished Nagatoro. With each episode this anime got cuter and more wholesome. Didn't expect a real conclusion in the end of the season because it's an adaptation of slice-of-life romance manga that's still going, but the last two episodes were sweet and satisfying. You see how these two characters have developed since the beginning, especially Naoto. Not the most original story, except the "bulliyng" aspect, but it works well is as a "comfort food" show. A well made rom-com.

 

I've seen some weird comments online about this show from people who clearly stopped watching after the first episode or didn't even watch it at all. They got the wrong idea which is kinda sad. Just give it 2-3 episodes before you form an opinion and post it somewhere. Same goes for any other show.
