dmland12
I'll have to sit this one out as my backlog is still in good shape after clearing in out in the last one. It's nice to see this still going strong though, and if there's anyone reading this that's on the fence, you should take the plunge! It's a great event with a lot of activity. Take care, I'll probably see you in some future KYC.

Sounds fine to me. Quote I've been gaming/reading in the train and such too, I'm very happy with my Switch and my e-reader I would never take out something as expensive and well known as the switch in public transit. I feel like playing on a switch would make you a prime target for pickpockets, while a Vita would barely even get recognized. But then again, there's people running around with their 1000$ iPhone X, so maybe it's not that bad. 1 hour ago, Caju_94 said: I played the first original on PS2 and Vita. Still have play 2 & 3 though. Also played Deadlocked/Gladiator for the PS2. I liked it. It seems the PS4 one is very similar to the first one, so I will be able to compare both the original and the new version. I played about an hour or so of it when a friend of mine was showing me some PS4 games. Mechanics wise it should actually feel pretty different from the original and closer to more modern titles like Deadlocked. The story is also a bit different but many of the locations are close to the same as in the first game. The gameplay also feels a lot more modern from what I've seen, although if you've only played R&C 1 as well as Deadlocked, you'll find that it's closer to the first one in that regard than to Deadlocked. If you liked the first one I'm pretty sure you should enjoy this game as well.
PerryToxteth
VooDoo, On second thought, I'll just add MLB:The Show 18 as a bonus game. I didn't realize we already had issues with partial games on lists and it's not fair of me to put you in a kind of predicament. So 11 games it is for me! I'll make my list shortly. Cheers man, I appreciate it. I believe Hemiak toyed once or twice with the idea to allow like 1% games, but it never ended up happening in the end (unless my memory is failing me). I want to try and avoid having a precedent where I allow it once, and then not again. While most of the regulars probably would be cool with it, others might not be. As such I'd rather avoid the whole potential of "but so and so could do so". 23 minutes ago, MarkusT1992 said: I'm in again. I'll post my list sometime next week probably. Those of us who followed the previous threads, would be up to date with the upcoming event. Newcomers could have a tougher time to find out about it though, if it was only a few days before it starts. This way everyone has enough time to think about whether or not they want to join Edited October 19, 2018 by voodoo_eyes
Popular Post DamagingRob
KYC: Has Rob Lost His F-ing Mind Edition? Lumo Rayman Legends Rogue Legacy Blue Estate Persona 4 Ultimax Rive LocoRoco Remastered Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom Homefront: The Revolution Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World Yes.. yes he has. The first 3 are Plus games, as that will expire on the 10th. Then I'll be playing games I own, for some reason. If the rumors are true and we get Bulletstorm next month, though, I might swap that for Rogue Legacy.

Popular Post Oobedoob S Benubi
Decided to do like some others did last event and do a bit of a preview of the games that I've chosen. However, since I can't foresee how my schedule will be as to how much time I'll have for writing stuff, I'll just do all of them in advance now that I have a bit of tine in which I can't game anyway. Hitman 2 Planned release date is early November HowLongToBeat story time of the previous Hitman game: 10.5 hours I liked the previous Hitman game, and it's the first Hitman game I've played to conclusion (not counting the GO game, and I've played the tutorials of about three other Hitman games). Really looking forward to this one, I've pre-ordered the collector's edition, which includes the season pass. I've taken the day off for its release day, so that should be a fun weekend, even though I'm not really excellent at this type of stealth game. Or any stealth game really, usually in any stealth game I mess up halfway through a mission and I end up fighting and shooting my way out. I like how the last Hitman game gave me the option to either follow an 'opportunity' kill, or think up my own kill, or just snipe from afar, or follow the target until they're alone and garotte them to death. 2064: Read Only Memories PS+ October 2018 HowLongToBeat story time: 9.5 hours I first hear of this game when it came on PS+. I've also heard that it just released on the Switch, as a "definitive" version with some added content (that won't find its way to the older versions), so I'll be using the PS4 version to see if I'll want to buy the Switch version at some point - I imagine, with its pixel graphics, that I'll enjoy it much more in handheld mode. Broforce PS+ March 2016 HowLongToBeat story time: 6.5 hours When Broforce released on PS+, initially I dismissed it as being a loud, ugly pixel game. However, it was recently said to me that I could play as Ash Williams (or Ash Bro-liams) in it, so what the hell. Valley Bought less than half a year ago (just over half a year ago when the event starts) HowLongToBeat story time: 3.5 hours I like platformers, Valley was supposed to be a fairly decent 3D one, and it was on a good sale. Sometimes, there's no big story, I just looked at a few reviews and some gameplay and figured it could be fun for €5. SOMA Bought less than half a year ago (just over half a year ago when the event starts) HowLongToBeat story time: 9 hours SOMA is a bit of a leap I took. I liked Alien Isolation, but I don't usually play scary games for the sake of playing scary games. SOMA had great rrviews though, looked interesting and was on a good sale, so I took the leap. Wayward Sky (PSVR) Bought less than half a year ago HowLongToBeat story time: 3 hours I've played the demo of this two years ago, and for the low low price that I've bought it I have little doubt that I'll enjoy it, even if it ends up being on the easy side like the reviews claim. Robinson: The Journey (PSVR) Bought between half a year ago and a year ago HowLongToBeat story time: 4 hours I bought this together with a few other VR games, and in the end put focus on the other VR games. I like dinosaurs so I wanted to give this a go, but it's supposed to be very hard on the stomach, VR-sickness wise, so I've been a bit scared to start it. Esper (PSVR) Bought less than half a year ago HowLongToBeat story time: 3 hours @Beyondthegrave07 wants to know what I'll think of this one, and, well... I'm a bit embarrassed, really. I bought this a couple of months ago together with the SUPERHOT bundle. I downloaded it abd put it in the PSVR map on my PS4 dashboard, and thanks to other games coming out and me not putting focus on VR, I forgot all about it. When I glanced at the VR map recently to continue on How We Soar, I spotted Esper's icon, and though it was one of those mainly-multiplayer VR games that we got as a PS+ extra, and I actually came close to deleting it. As it is, I think Esper is one of those sit-down puzzle games, a VR genre I love (I especially recommend Statik), so I don't know why I felt the need to buy Esper but I'll probably enjoy it. SUPERHOT VR (SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER) Bought less than half a year ago HowLongToBeat story time: 2 hours I don't know how SUPERHOT VR compares to SUPERHOT, but SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years. I recommend it to all my friends. SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER Tethered (PSVR) Bought less than half a year ago HowLongToBeat story time: 7.5 hours There's a demo available which I did download, but in the end I just bought the game when it was on a great sale. As far as I know, it's some kind of sim game akin to Populous, Black & White and such, and it's got great reviews. I can enjoy relaxi-games if they are well done (see How We Soar in KYC7), so we'll see how this one goes for me.

Popular Post XX_FTW
Oooh! I haven’t been apart of this event in a looong time. Nice to see the rules switch up to allow for less than 10 games at a time, but also a little sad. I want in! I fully expect to be neckerchief deep in RDR2 during November so I’ll be doing this round portable. DragonQuest238
Since you don't have to finish your games, I might try this again but I'll have to see how many games I have in my backlog I haven't started already.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
I ended up deciding on 7 games this time around, as most of my list will consist of some sort of RPG. So that'll be 4 days per game for me. Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2 (PS3) Drive Girls (PS Vita) Dungeon Punks (PS4) or Tomb Raider Legend (PS3) Valkyria Revolution (PS4) Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star (PS4) Uncharted: Lost Legacy (PS4) Megadimension Neptunia VII (PS4) Getting my completion back from that, will probably take me a while. To be honest, I'm not familiar with the franchise either. I think Revolution is more of a spin-off though and not directly linked to the Chronicles series. The former is an Action-RPG while the traditional series is more of the tactical variety, if I'm not mistaken. Also from what I know, Valkyria Revolution got utterly destroyed by critics while the "main series" is generally praised. I enjoyed the original trilogy quite a bit, still haven't played the fourth one though. Lost Legacy is probably the game I'm most looking forward to out of the bunch I picked. Beyondthegrave07
@Kassandra If you end up liking Superhot on the VR, you would probably like Raw Data as well. It's pretty much a game of protect the base from waves of enemies or survival, but you get the same satisfaction of throwing your sword or headshotting someone with a bow as you do getting an epic kill on Superhot. I've been having a blast with it... Especially using the katana. Lol

I would advise to not play the game on the Vita but on the PS3 instead. Starting from the halfway point (the last few sections of level 4) the game introduces some vials you have to use to influence your surroundings. To give you a visual indication of how you influenced the surroundings the devs places various lamps in the levels which try to help you. And it seems like the Vita-version is lacking some of those lamps in a few levels which gives you a way harder time to figure out what to do. My personal guess is that the devs decided to remove some of those lamps as they are rather tiny on the Vita-screen and overall it seems like they reduced the FoV when comparing the Vita-screen to solutions based on the X360/PC-version.
