Popular Post gladiatorrrrrrr
My Monday update Thief 4 Hurray! Finished the game and got my first of the year. with only a 3,84% platinum rate it is also a pretty rare one. Strange, as the game is not super difficult. I loved the setting, the game play (stealth!) but disliked the collectibles. So happy when the Finders Keepers Discover all secret areas popped. Games doesn't keep track on this collectible and there are 70+ so many chances that you miss one. Star Wars Battlefront II (PS4) Just enjoying the game Shinobodi 2 (PSVita) It is a repetitive game but fun to play it in small bursts of 45 - 60 minutes. But in this pace it will take me while to finish this (needs four runs as difficulty is not stack-able ) Current Status: Plans for next week: - play some SW BF - Make some more progress on Shinobodi 2 In the coming weeks I will be playing some games that don't qualify for this event. SO probably less updates from me but I keep reading all of yours! Keep it up!

Had to do a ton of grinding and even then I beat the post game final boss more out of luck than skill. Pretty much what happened was that there's a one time item you get as a reward for a previous boss and I saved it for the last of the four post game bosses. The item gives a random advantage effect ranging from a full heal, increased stats, etc. I lucked out and got a really awesome shield that stopped me from getting clobbered with powerful attacks. With that, all I had to do was make sure the boss couldn't remove my buffs and shields and I kept up the protection from instant death (which of course this boss loved to spam and the protection only lasts two rounds). And of course still chipping away at Sengoku Basara, but no trophies to show for that. Up to over 40 playthroughs completed now and only have to recruit allies with 6 more of the characters. Only have 10 more accessories to farm materials for, but still have a lot of level grinding and weapon farming left along with still needing to wrap up playthorughs. Still steadily making progress but may have to take a break from this one for a bit since the game I planned for my 200th plat comes out early next month and I'm still a bit away from 200. Definitely want to knock out some easier stuff so I'm a bit closer when Ys IX comes out.
Popular Post Draps-1337
Soooo it has been a while. I feel like I haven't made much progress on my list over the last month. I've been reading everyone's updates and you're all doing so well. DMC1 really destroyed my momentum. I also got distracted by a bunch of other games that I felt like playing and lately have been absorbed into a random pick up group online for RAID: WW2 which has been an absolute slog, but hopefully a pristine UR platinum for the collection. Actually looking at my progress since my last update, I have actually finished some games. So that makes me feel better. My Dualsense controller died on the weekend so I have to go out and get a replacement while I wait for sony to fix/replace my original. I need to buckle up and work on at least beating DMC, as I know the games get better. Nice! looking forward to it! I already have a few ideas on what titles to throw in, but looking at what I have jotted down, it's almost entirely RPG's. Maybe i've been bitten by the role-playing bug again without realising it.
Popular Post SpacebarPlays
Well, its been..... *checks notes* 3 months, jesus christ almighty since i posted an update. Nothing much to talk about, was ill, then back to work, then got lockdown again and caught Covid at the end of November and was bed ridden for almost 2 weeks. Been slowly plodding along trying to complete some of my list where and when possible, just a lot of things happening right now. Have loved reading everyones updates though and thanks for the enjoyment Spyro 2 - 10% Spyro 3 - 0% The Order 1886 - 0% Sherlock Holmes: The Devils Daughter - 0% -> 34% Final Fantasy IX - 0% Marvels Avengers - 59% Fallout Shelter - 100% Complete. Witcher 3 - 0% Control - 0% -> 16% Fifa 21 - 44% -> 63% AC: Odyssey - 21% -> 56% Horizon Zero Dawn - 0% Watch Dogs 2 - 0% -> 2% Tomb Raider (PS4) - 0% Yakuza Kiwami - 0% Detroit: Become Human - 0% ES: Skyrim - 0% Minecraft - 0% Diablo 3 - 85% -> 100% Complete Blood Bowl 2 - 53% Killing Floor 2 - 5% So ive been playing bits and bobs of a lot of games off my list which has slowed down progress a lot but when i get an itch, it has to be scratched. Ive finally fully completed Diablo 3, that was a grind but i love that game and it was a lot of fun. AC: Odyssey, once again, another game that ive platinumed before but never played the DLCs. Ive completed the main story and have completed a lot of the collectible stuff, just have some misc quests to finish up for the platinum before i move onto having fun with the DLCs. Sherlock Holmes has been enjoyable but its really honestly, too slow for my liking. Everything takes too long, about 20 different menus to go through to get from place to place. Im really enjoying the storylines and the minigames but i just wish it would speed up just a tad. Fifa 21 im still really enjoying, i know EA bad and they just reskin previous games but Fifa21 has been the most fun ive had on a football game for a longgggggg while. Got a bit of the grindy trophies still to complete but the time is flying as im enjoying the game too much. Watch Dogs 2, not much to say, i started playing it but just wasnt in the mood, i'll get back to it at 'some' point, if i cant finish it this challenge, it'll be the first game on the spring challenge. Control, finally started playing this game, had it for a while and heard really good things about it. So far, im not seeing that. It IS enjoyable, to an extent. The combat is half decent but traversing the map is just dull, slow and tedious. I absolutely adore the storyline so far and am honestly probably going to just switch on the new Invulnerability mode to just enjoy the game for the story and breeze through it. Hope everyone stays safe and happy gaming! (Also, as an edit: I use dark mode and just realised i was writing in Yellow text thats REALLYYYYYYY hard to view :/ Sorry about that) Edited January 15, 2021 by SpacebarPIays

Popular Post Xenoblast91
UPDATE 8.0.: Hello guys, me here once again to share with you my progression in this almost finishing challenge! The last two weeks were wonderful, since I managed to finish three games in a row. I think it was real progress over there since I couldn't play before but aside from that, I feel ready to finish few more and see if I manage to complete the challenge once at least, LOL. Anyway, the games were easy overall, so that helped a lot too. However, I can't decide which I must hit next since the backlog is huge so I think using a swap here should be wise. Surprises me too that just very few of us are posting right now, but not sure if is due you already finished it or simply haven't got any progress and that's OK, however I always miss when someone hasn't posted in several days as I like their list. Alright, enough for the introduction and let's dive in! Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered – 100% Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - GOTY Edition – 100% Psychonauts – 34%100% Cuphead – 0%100% Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer: Comrades – 0%100% Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – 83% GTA V – 48% Final Fantasy VII [OG] – 0% Doom Eternal – 0% Star Wars Battlefront II – 0% (This is going to be swapped; once I decide which replace it, it'll be edited) Swaps used - 2/5: Assassin's Creed OriginsGTA V Lego Marvel’s Super Heroes 2Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - GOTY Edition Despite finishing 2020 with Psychonauts and being my "first" platinum of the year I don't consider it to be so. The game as a whole is entertaining, but personally it didn't stick to me as much I wished. Firstly, is a platform game (which I'm a master on those) but the mechanics and physics of the game don't seem to match the current state of gameplay posed over the years. I know, comparing apples with oranges never works, but in this case the game felt clumsy, bad in the collision detection and few other details that left me unsatisfied. Secondly, there were unnecessary hard parts for few trophies. Instead of making an organic, natural progression of the game you must backtrack to grab everything in every world. There was a figment (a type of collectible needed for the 101%) that took me around 2 hours to grab. Why? For the after mentioned issues! The game didn't read correctly the jumps over a trampoline and until I literally pressed all the buttons furiously, Raz managed to somehow make a jump high enough in order to allow that thing to be grabbed. Was frustrating ugh. But aside from that, I like the approach of the game. The last world consisting of severed people in an asylum, where you see really psychedelic and some disturbing situations where a touch for a game about psyche in general. I like it, honestly; it certainly deserves its position along many other games considered amazing. From there, I jumped into one of my favorites. Cuphead poses a challenge to whoever tries it for first time. But, all in all... IS. ONE. OF. THE. BEST. GAMES. EVER. Nobody can't argue that. I played it a lot when it came out for PC and in fact, this game was one of the reasons titles to jump into the next gen around 2017. I instantly loved it. It was challenging, but I needed that. Wanted something so immersive that make me forget about everything and just try my best to have a confidence boost in that year. And man, I wasn't disappointed at all. From the vegetable bosses to the devil itself, the game tested me with an array of abilities, since parrying at the perfect moment, to move quickly between a screen full of projectiles that manage to follow you independently of your position and randomly moves in unpredictable ways! A complete mess and pure cancer in few instance of course. But this time around, I choose to play it differently. I wished to be in the world leaderboard of the top 50, but I couldn't. And I feel great even though. I beat the game again in just 4 days (I hate how this site rates timestamps, because it leans to trophy acquisition rather than in-game progression, smh; couldn't play the day after starting it), instead of 2 and half years. For me that was a complete success! I knew some bosses and of course, my previous run helped me a lot, but the challenge was still there. A definitive blast that everybody should try of course! And also, I finished byt the time when One Piece reached chapter #1000! I hope this year be so epic! Following the spree, FFXV Multiplayer: Comrades makes its debut! I wanted to do this way back when finished the base game. But for time constraint reasons I couldn't until now. However, in the way as meet few people who are considered big weights in this site. I befriended the 4th place leaderboard from my country, and have a really nice talk about trophy hunting and gaming overall. Also, two other guys who are fantastic at this type of games helped me with the final battle against Kenny Crow. That battle is ridiculous. The character is a mockery of one of the franchise mascot, it has god-tier attacks that can K.O. you in a matter of seconds, can regain health over the fact that he's over 2 million HP. I was so under level due to guide states that being at that is beneficial as having a buff for your character can deal more damage to him, but in the end it makes things harder. I haven't had time to gain more level and craft weapons which actually gives you the increase on stats needed to defeat him. However, this team was gentle enough to just carry me in the battle despite I had to run and just make few hits (which were 9,999 in damage) because he killed me so quick and easy. Was an interesting experience and opens me the opportunity to try new MMO games in the future as I would like to jump into them too. Alright folks! I guess this was a good update and wish all of you have an amazing time as only 3 more for me and the challenge will be finished. Good luck adn vibes to all of you! Cheers and happy hunitng!

Popular Post StilRh
Hi guys and gals, hope the week has been kind to you all. This week I wanted to finish Medievil but I am one glitchy broze trophy short and it irritated me to the point of an unistall. I've since re-installed thinking I could overcome the glitch on a fresh save, but now reading guides I am advised to meet a unique set of conditions in a level quite late into the game. It won't be hard getting back to that point just tedious. I might try a fresh save again, else I'll come back to this game towards the end of the challenge and fresh eyes to hopefully make it a bit more fun. Really not sure what I'll be playing next. Popular Post Liioni
Got a few trophies in both Bayonetta and Horizon, and in a bunch of other games! I have done a little bit of game jumping the past few weeks, been insane few weeks at Uni so I haven't really had the right mindset for playing games where I actually want/need to focus, hah. I'm really enjoying Horizon, but I am not sure I will enjoy replaying it in NG+, so we'll see how that goes, haha. Hopefully I can speed run it. Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hey everyone, Its been a month since my last update, but here it is! I’ve completed Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. I really liked the game and the game play. Completing it was a bit of a hassle, especially because the map is really difficult to read. But all in all a lot of fun to complete. I had made quite some progress on Planet Coaster until my save file got corrupted and I couldn’t load it back in. Unfortunately I have to start over and I’m getting some Two Point Hospital flash back where this happened multiple times ?. I’ve completed the main story in Sackboys Big Adventure. It’s a really fun game and I will keep on working on completing it in the coming days. Good luck everyone, hope everyone is doing well! 1. Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition - 100% 2. Did all the trophies except Be gentle with her - Elika saves you less than 100 times. I was a bit careless during my collectible run and I think I missed the trophy by a few deaths, but oh well. Had to take a little break from the game, it gets quite tedious near the end. I will finish it soon. #173 - Enslaved: Oddysey to the West Going into the game I knew pretty much nothing about it other than the fact it was a "hidden gem" and worth playing. Well yes but actually no. I wouldn't call this game a hidden gem, it has its moments, and it's definitely worth playing but nothing about this game is great on its own. The story is... nonexistent? I mean, near the start of the game you get a pretext for your "journey to the west", but after that nothing is happening besides some interactions between the main characters. Even that is poorly written, as you only ever see them talk like human beings during like 45-second cutscenes, which is nowhere near enough for what this game is trying to do. A little background on the world would have been nice, in the end, you get pretty much nothing and you're just left with your own presumptions. The combat gets repetitive and the entire game can be summed up like this - even a few setpieces that are meant to bring something new to the table are so close to each other that they achieve nothing IMO. The soundtrack is meh, I finished this game today and I don't remember a single tune that'd be stuck in my head. The game looks nice so that's something. If you want to give this game a shot, I'd sum it up like this - poor man's The Last Of Us, Uncharted, and The Last of Us hybrid. The DLC was fun though, not very often you have more fun with the DLC than the actual game itself. Overall I regret nothing, I rate this game 6/10, easy and quite fast platinum. Took me nearly 5 days playing a couple of hours per day.
Popular Post Static_Rook
Update 20 - 1/17/2021 Batman Arkham Knight 2% 6% Resident Evil 2 Remake 12% / 97% 1/17/2021 I started the long journey to 100% with Arkham Knight. If I do a few missions / challenges a day I should be able to finish it right before the deadline. Still not crazy about the Batmobile, but I'm getting better with it. I got 3 stars on the early racing / combat AR Challenges involving it without too much trouble. Also got the plat in RE2 Remake. Of course, I'm stuck on the No Way Out DLC so I'm at 97% complete and not 100%. Had a few runs where I got into the 80s in good shape only for everything to hilariously fall apart in the final horde. I was already feeling burned out on the game after playing it all week, but now I'm really ready to move on. I think I'll throw in the towel for now and come back to this in a week or two. After playing RE1 and 2 back-to-back, I really need a break from shooting zombies. That 97% is going to annoy me though. Not sure what I'll tackle next from my list. None of the games left are really calling to me. I'll keep plugging away at Batman AK and see what happens as the week goes on. Dragon Lapis 14. Beast Quest 460 out of 518 trophies earned. 11 out of 14 games completed 4/5 swaps used No new trophies, just doing a couple of swaps for the games I know I'm not going to get to before this ends. Adding Ys IX since I have that preordered and will probably get it on the 1st (it comes out on the 2nd, but NISA store preorders usually arrive the day before release) and also adding Pic-A-Pix Classic 2 as one of the games I'm trying to play and wrap up before Ys IX comes out so I can make Ys IX my 200th plat. Removing Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny and Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk since I won't be getting to playing those in time. Both are on my list to play soon, but won't get to them until after I have my 200th plat and have wrapped up Sengoku Basara as well. Like with CSIV I'm estimating Ys IX's trophy count with the assumption that like always it will have the same trophies as the JP version.

I personally found the hardest difficulty playthrough a joke, especially since everything carried over. Just stick to the main story missions and you'll be done in a few hours at most. Ok that's good to know, thanks! Would you recommend trying to do it all in one go just to keep the momentum going?

Popular Post freddie1989
Finished up Deponia Doomsday, what a horrible game!! Whoever came up with that Jackalope trophy should be sent to the naughty corner!!! Hoping to make a bit of progress before the end but not too worried. On a side note has anyone finished Borderlands 2? I ask because I need help with a few bits to save hours of unnecessary grinding. I am level 50 now but stuck on Terramorphous and the Tier 3 Torgue missions as they are 50 as well and I can't drive for my life for Death Race!! Just one more to go and only a bit over a week until Ys IX comes out. Shouldn't have a problem finishing up plat #199 because it's another Pic-A-Pix game. Probably will have a bit of time to chip away at Sengoku Basara before Ys IX comes out, but not really counting on that. Still am hoping to have the list finished before this is over, if I don't wrap it up though I should be pretty close to the plat on Sengoku Basara though since I'm nearly to the end of that massive grind.
