Popular Post Varhur
Another game completed, this time it's Mortal Kombat! I have very little experience with fighting games and the only one that I ever recall playing was Tekken 5 on PS2 (so technically by extension that's also T1, T2 and T3, cuz they were sorta included). And even then, my strategy was to just spam moves that are spammable. While now it's less mindless, I'm still nowhere as good to even think of attempting games you've put, but MK9 was sorta doable? I did online in time (thank fuck that WB dudes were incompetent enough to announce immediate shutdown and actually commit to it almost two weeks later), managed to get all time mastery objectives in last year summer vacation, then game went into the backlog. I already said my thoughts about the tower (hardest part of the game, though more than doable), so I just has the My Kung Fu is Stronger to do. And it went rather smoothly, I could watch videos on YT and input commands on my PS3 without looking and had a mechanical tally counter to make sure that I'm not overdoing on the objectives. And voilla, rarest plat from my tier done. My next goal should probably be The Evil Within, should motivate me to buy it's DLC's 1. Dante's Inferno (0.82% full completion, rarest trophy 4.44%) - 100% 2. Worms Battlegrounds (1.17% platinum, 0.43% full completion) - 100% 3. Mortal Kombat (0.61% platinum) - 100% 4. Popular Post Aecesaje_
Well with the PS3 store shutting down I will put this challenge aside for sometime while I work on my PS3 backlog. With that I want to switch Thief with Fall Guys, since I already got Infallible it should be easier from now on and it's a nice game to jump on between other games. Also, not really related to the challenge but since I'm gonna do surgery in the future and I'm working on the PS3 backlog I don't think I will start working on Tier 2 anytime soon, I might pick some fast games that ended up with an Ultra Rare but I can't see any, if anyone knows of some please tell, PS Now games are accepted too. For now I know Tier 2 will have Days Gone, Nova 111 and probably Worms: Battlegrounds Updated List 1 - Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends (0.73%) - 100% 2 - Thief (3.83%) - 0% ➡️ Fall Guys (1.33%) - 65% 3 - Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (4.50%) - 100% 4 - Extreme Exorcism (1.28%) - 100% 5 - Not a Hero (2.47%) - 100% Edited April 4, 2021 by maiathewinners

Popular Post Mesopithecus
Update I actually finished something! Real life has been running away with me just lately so I haven't had too much time to sit down and play, but I finished Torment: Tides of Numenera which was a relatively chill experience AND infinitely better than Wasteland 2 which I played earlier this year (and was made by the same devs) There is a great walkthrough on True Achievements for it which means you only need one playthrough for the game and it's around 30 hours long - the only disadvantage is it's pretty rigid and you can't really deviate from the guide. Aiming to hopefully finish up Lumo next as I'm 51% done with it. I also started up a bunch of games recently to try them out and I enjoyed the time I spent with Flame and the Flood so hopefully will work on that soon too! I've been enjoying reading all the amazing progress everyone has been making! 1. Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion (1.92%) 2. Torment: Tides of Numenera (1.59%) 04/04/2021 3. Popular Post Floriiss
DMC4:SE Unfortunately this game was a pretty big disappointment to me. I've played the DMC trilogy in the past and considering those games are pretty old I could always look past their flaws. As for DMC4:SE I could simply not. I was expecting improvements. Better graphics, smoother gameplay, less obnoxious requirements. Simply a better experience. But as soon as I started playing this game I realised it was nowhere near as good as I was hoping for. There's a lot of things I dislike about this game. The level design was terrible. Constantly wandering aimlessly and backtracking throughout the same dull environments. Similar to the previous DMC games the annoying camera angles were still present. The lock-on mechanic on this game was really bad. Switching to a different opponent was such a hassle. The story was mediocre at best. They randomly decide to add some new characters to the series, but they don't even explain what the corrolation is between those new characters and the original ones. All together there were so just so many flaws and disappointments. Trophy-wise it's a very long and obnoxious grind. For this platinum you have to play through the game a minimum of seven times, but you probably end up doing more than that. This is because the trophies related to difficulty don't stack. Why they still didn't include stackable trophies is beyond me. If you can do something on the hardest difficulty you've pretty much proven that you have mastered the game, so why not unlock the trophies related to lower difficulties? Do the developers want you to spend more time with the game? Is it just a mere form of padding? Well if that's the case it sure is counterproductive, as doing that many playthroughs surely made the experience much worse and dreading than it could've been. Regarding the difficulty of this game I'd say it was not that hard. Pretty much all the "S" rank related trophies on this game can be cheesed. This can be done by using a character named Lady. She has a rocket launcher which pretty much insta kills everything in sight and rewards you with a "SSS" rank style points boost in the process. Beating the hardest difficulties with this character became a joke. Additionally there's a mode called Bloody Palace. This is a survival mode where you have to beat 101 stages without dying. This certainly was a nice change of pace after doing so many playthroughs, but even this mode wasn't as daunting as you'd expect from a survival mode. Surely the runs could take quite some time. About two hours on average. However, the same broken characters could be used during this run and you could also use super costumes with unlimited devil trigger which made you even more powerful. Whether or not I will play Devil May Cry 5 in the future is still up to discussion. I've seen the gameplay and honestly it does look really good. But then I look at the trophy list and see the same shenanigans again. No stackable trophies for difficulty and just playthroughs upon playthroughs. Though I did hear that DMC5 is more challenging and I think there's also less cheese stratts involved. So it does sound tempting. I will have to think that one through I suppose. EDIT Well I forgot to mention about my tier list progress. Still feel like I'm slacking a lot in this event, but oh well. At least there's some progress every now and then. After finishing DMC4:SE this brings me to my 3rd game being completed on my tier 1 list. Currently the only games I have left to play are Jamestown+ and Splasher. Really excited to play those games! However, I think it's a good idea to focus on them later this year. With the recent announcement of the PSN store shutdown I'd like to put all my attention to PS3 games from now on. So I'd like to make use of two more swaps @Copanele @Arcesius. I would like to swap both Jamestown+ and Splasher for two PS3 games. What these games are I have yet to decide. I will probably just start working on a few PS3 games and will decide later which I will complete first ? Tier 1 1. Street Fighter V (1.17%) - 100% 2. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (1.43% ; 0.27%) - 100% 3. Devil May Cry 4 (2.73%) - 100% 4. PS3 game 5. DMC4 is the worst in the series to platinum by far, just because of the obnoxious design and so much backtracking (and enemies that you can't hit, like Blitz). DMC5 however improves everything 10 times over. The only massive headache there is indeed S ranking every single difficulty except Heaven or Hell, but it's nowhere as annoying as in DMC4. I'd say 5 is the best in the series by far.

In fact before it released i wished for a trophy list to do everything with all characters I mean Dmc5 have basically identical. 6 playthroughs, S rank on all difficulties. And BP with all characters. So not so much different from 4 . And Dmc2 is the worst in series!

Popular Post Together_Comic
Hyper Light Drifter Enjoyment 8/10 Difficulty 5/10 Update from Me. I finished my first game of the event in Hyper Light Drifter. It's definitely an enjoyable indi title with satisfying combat, a neat chain dash, and really good boss fights. Not sure what I want to do next as platinum 50 is coming up for me. I think I want it to either Tetris Effect or Super Meat Boy. I've been putting off super meat boy (mostly because I got hooked into a JRPG for another event) and I'd like to get back to it, but I've also been wanting to play some tetris and I'm only missing the one trophy there. Hmm.. Either way here's an updated list of what's left. Super Meat Boy (PS4) (14/24 - 45%) Hyper Light Drifter (23/23 - 100%) Super Beat Xonic (PSP) (28/33 - 64%) Tetris Effect (41/43 - 91%) Trackmania Turbo (29/49 - 51%) ~TC

Popular Post Joe Dubz
Just a quick update for me, I finished NOT A HERO over the weekend! It was very enjoyable, albeit kind of short. I was tipped off to this one from others playing it in here, so thank you for the indirect suggestion ? It's a pretty simple and straightforward game; you are able to slide tackle enemies, then you have a short window to execute them. Otherwise you have a gun and need to slide in between cover to avoid getting hit. A very simple yet interesting mechanic that evolves as you face different enemy types. As for the meat of the game, you are given 1 primary objective (usually pretty easy), however there are 3 additional optional objectives, and this is one of those games where you need to do all 3 in one go for the full completion. They range from beating the level in so much time, to not getting punched or only firing so many shots, with a few more in between. There are only 21 levels tho, which felt kind of short given the $13 price tag. I recommend it, but I would suggest waiting for it to go on sale! Now, moving forward: I decided that I may have too hastily decided to pick Bless Unleashed for this Tier. The game is decent, however the giant world you are in feels kind of hollow. It takes NPCs forever to load; in many instances you end up just talking to a blob! This is me making a mental note to put more forethought into what I choose for the next tier! @Copanele, I would like to make my first swap and do Curse of the Dead Gods in place of of Bless Unleashed. It is an extremely addicting roguelite dungeon crawler and it is absolutely incredible so far! I spent quite a few hours with it over the weekend and would like to do that one instead. Tier 2: 10 Second Ninja X (0.66%) 0% Bless Unleashed (0.34%) 1% Curse of the Dead Gods (2.28 %) 18% NOT A HERO (2.24%) 100% Rive (2.80%) 78% Surgeon Simulator (0.58%) 0% Cheers and happy trophy hunting peeps!
Berendsapje
Not really a progress update, instead I'm going to use a swap. Wheelman can go crash somewhere as Nascar Heat 3 takes its place. 1. Fuel (Rarest obtainable trophy: 2.71%) 95% (All other trophies are online) (Sort of ) 2. F1 2012 (2.78%) 71% 3. F1 2011 (3.18%) 100% 4. Project Cars 2 (4.29%) 100% 5. Nascar Heat 3 (4.12%) 64% Mostly because Wheelman is horrible and I don't want to play it. Good thing is that I finally have another PS4 game on my list though.
