Popular Post Evil_Joker88
Yay i finished my 5th game for this event I had to play Anodyne three times because i didn't understand the avoid trophies from glitching strategy mentioned in the trophy guide. Luckily it took me just 4 hours to complete the 3rd playthrough for the last trophies. Fun little game but man those glitches really make the game look bad. I'll think about games to put on the list for Tier 2 Edited June 29, 2021 by Evil_Joker88
Floriiss
I would like to swap Dariusburst for Syndicate. I was making good progress on Dariusburst, but the mission mode is tedious and time consuming, so I'd rather take a bit more time for that. I will return to the game soon enough though. Will finish it in my next tier for sure.

Popular Post Grotz99
It's been slow going for me on these games, but I finally knocked out The Banner Saga after 3 playthroughs. This game wasn't too hard, even on hard mode...until you get to the final 2 battles. It probably took me around 50 attempts and some amount of luck on hard difficulty to finally beat them. Apparently the best strategy is to use long range characters, whom I didn't use throughout the story so they weren't really leveled up. The Banner Saga 2 and 3 are not ultra rare platinums, but I look forward to playing them soon to continue from my saves of the first one. I don't know if I'll be in the mood to play the other 2 on my list so I might use a swap, but we'll see. I aimed to complete one tier this year and I seem to at least be on track for that. Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten DX 2.28% rarity Ultra Completionist Ironclad Tactics 3.30% rarity Phantom Doctrine (0%) 0.69% rarity Torment: Tides of Numenera (83%) 1.58% rarity The Banner Saga 4.05% rarity The Banner Saga Master

Am I correct in thinking that I don't need to post games prior to completion for Tier 5 and can just post when they're finished? Congrats. I have seen people not post their full list for their next tier until they feel ready to commit to them. If that is the case, instead of just committing to 5 games and eventually wasting swaps anyway, might as well just compose a few of the games in the next tier and post the rest as you complete them. I will add, if this ok to do then I think this renders the tier system a bit redundant then. So normally if you want to decide for a new tier, you can write the ideas that you have in a post, but your completion will count once you have the tier list registered. If I set some games as completed in an incomplete tier list that was a slip up on my part, sorry. I will re-check the lists. However once you reach Tier5, you can earn the platinum and then post it here if you wish so (congrats @zajac9999 btw ). Popular Post xZoneHunter
Finished my first tier: 1. Trackmania turbo (0.61%) 2. Greedfall (4.42%) This recently got DLC, does it still count actually or do i need to complete the DLC as well now that its released? 3. Mortal blitz (2.93%) 4. No Man's sky (UR DLC trophy = 1.15%) 5. Fall Guys (2.35%) Also while going through my list of finished games this year i noticed i finished two games that would have counted as well but didn't list them here beforehand ? In any case i'm not sure i'll do a tier 2, we'll see. Edited July 1, 2021 by xZoneHunter

Popular Post Floriiss
Syndicate Honestly I didn’t like this game at first, because the aiming felt clunky. Also the game runs like crap. But despite that I gave it a chance and I actually ended up liking it quite a bit. The game felt like a mix of Mirror’s Edge and Battlefield, two games I really enjoyed on the PS3. The co-op part was pretty fun. You have to beat nine missions on expert which seemed challenging at first when solo’ing it, but with more players and improved abilities it gets immensely easier. Other than that you had to complete a long list of challenges and misc stuff, but at least this could be done against NPC’s. So farming this during missions wasn’t an issue. The only issue I had was the freezing stuff, though. As I mentioned before the game runs like crap. So it often happened that the screen would freeze for 5-10 seconds and then continue. Or sometimes it would totally freeze my console. I had a total of 4 freezes where I had to restart my console. I often times joked that this game would kill my PS3, but to be fair there was quite a big chance of that actually happening. As for the campaign it was pretty good and I didn’t encounter a single freeze during it, so that was a big relief. Glad I got around to playing this game. Not looking at the flaws and freezes it was a decent experience, especially for a game that is nearly a decade old. Fear 3 This game was pretty bad lol. Me and my friend started of playing the survival mode, but there was this immensely cheap mechanic in the game. Basically there was this little girl running around and if you were to look at her or shoot at her she’d just insta kill you. Felt really cheap and RNG based, but fortunately it didn’t take us many attempts to beat this mode. Can’t say that I cared for the story of this game. I just skip the cutscenes and play through it hard. The story and score runs were easy, but there were quite a bit of challenges you had to complete. Took a bit of time to get through those, but at least the game had an excellent tracking system so you could easily spot which challenges were left. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Decent game I suppose. Couldn’t care much for the story either, but the gameplay was alright. The DLC is probably the best part about this game. Had a lot of fun playing through survival mode with friends. The multiplayer was quite a grind though and is probably the reason why this platinum is ultra rare, lol. Tier 2 1. Ninja Gaiden 3 (1.49% ; 0.61%)2. Call of Duty: Black ops 4 (0.71% ; 0.35%)3. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (1.25% ; 0.48%) 4. Syndicate (2.35%) 5. Fear 3 (2.54%) This brings me to my 2nd tier completed. Even though I don't have any swaps remaining, I will list my third tier regardeless. If I end up play and/or finish some UR games in the meantime so be it. I'm actually not sure how much I can work towards this tier or be much more active in this event, as I'm also planning on starting The Elder Scrolls Online soon enough. So I will probably play that for quite some time. Tier 3 1. Mortal Kombat X (1.71% ; 0.97%) 2. Dariusburst (0.49%) 3. GTA IV (0.93% ; 0.47%) 4. Lost Planet 3 (1.72%) 5. WET (3.64%) On 29-6-2021 at 0:31 AM, AJ_Radio said: I got to hand it to you dude. You have insane skills and unlimited perseverance. Dariusburst just looks brutal. You definitely have the skills and time for it. Thank you Spaz, you are too kind. But Dariusburst is not as brutal as it seems. It's just a lengthy platinum and there's one challenging no hit run, but it doesn't look overly difficult. I have a feeling that the other shmups on the most wanted list are harder. Though I haven't done the run myself so I shouldn't really judge about it so quickly. I guess I will find out soon enough

Popular Post FreshFromThaDeli
Tier 2 Update 4 1. Battlefield 3 (2.92% / 0.91%) 100% 2. OutRun Online Arcade ( 2.56%) 100% 3. Overwatch (1.87% / 0.17% ) 100% 4. RAGE (4.10% / 0.71%) 100% 5. The King of Fighters XII - Unobtainable (1.86%) 70% After swapping it out in Tier 1 and almost doing the same thing in Tier 2, I powered through RAGE and completed it. This was a bit of a hard one for me to go back to as I had lost my save of me almost reaching the end of the game back in 2014. I left it untouched for years until last year I completed all the online/co-op stuff which was fairly easy and straightforward. This is an above average game that I think would have been better if id Software scrapped the open world style buggy driving in the Wasteland and the settlements. I would have liked a more linear corridor shooter like Doom or Wolfenstein, something that id is known for rather than tacked on driving in a boring Wasteland with nothing interesting to do. The story is not told well, I had no idea what was going and it wasn't until I watched a summary of the story on YouTube that I actually found it pretty interesting to learn more. What does make this game worth playing however, is the presentation and the shooting gameplay. This looks stunning on PS3 and that id Tech engine is working wonders, sometimes I see texture pop in but it's forgiven for the fact how great this game looks on PS3. The loading times are a byproduct of the visuals as they really suck you out of the experience especially when there are no checkpoints in the dungeons and having to open up the pause menu to save and load gets really tedious and breaks the flow of combat. The enemy AI is the best I've seen on any PS3 game, the way each enemy ducks and weaves every shot truly makes every shot count especially on the Ultra Nightmare difficulty which is required for the 100%. Also, the shotgun is in true id fashion: a blast! A few missable collectibles mean following a guide is a must if you want to do everything in one play through which is annoying. Thankfully, all the difficulty trophies (including the dlc difficulty) all stack when completing the game.

Popular Post Copanele
Finished the nastily swapped game: Blazblue Continuum Shift (sorry Faith, will attempt Mirror's Edge in Tier 5) Yakuza Kiwami - achieved Catherine (PS3) Blazblue Continuum Shift(PS3) - + ? achieved Persona 4 Arena(PS3) Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3(PS4) This was the perfect relaxing game after the madness that was Yakuza. Quite a challenging game (them trials), but also the very first Blazblue that actually made me pay attention to the story. Or rather, to the gag reels and "Help me Professor Kokonoe" stuff (still don't care much about the main story except Taokaka). Score attack was pleasantly fun, especially after learning how to use Lord and Savior Tager. He's one mad grappler. Anyway, only 3 left. Catherine ain't going anywhere (I am hellbent on platinum that ...thing), but I am not feeling that comfortable regarding P4A and UMvC3 will see if I will swap them with my 2 remaining swaps.
Popular Post BrandedBerserk
Wasteland 3 (2.44%/0.28%) Score: 6/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Fourth game of my first tier completed. This is a genuinely great game that me and my co op partner really enjoyed but can't rate it any higher due to the amount of technical issues that got in the way and are still somewhat present almost a year later. This wouldn't of been a true rpg if there wasn't some sort of game breaking bug that resets your progress so that's exactly what we got and had to wait nearly 3 weeks just to finish our first playthrough. We then realized that the platinum was unobtainable because of trophies tied to collectibles that didn't actually exist in game which got patched 6 months after release but it doesn't end there, every co op session would result in a frustrating amount of crashes or lobby disconnects made even worst by frequent and long loading screens (we fuck off with the plat at this point). Fast forward a couple months later and to our surprise the game is almost just as annoying to play as it was before but thankfully this time we got it done. I'd recommend this game only after it's been fixed. As for difficulty, a playthrough on the hardest mode is required but it's not hard at all since you have so much at your disposal on top of many skill, duplication and money glitches. The only reason this is ultra rare is because there's a lot of missable collectibles and trophies plus the fact that it was unobtainable for like 7 months. Nothing ur worthy really. Just a little update since I've been loafing but I actually started wuppo and I'm very close to finishing. Had a close run on boss rush impossible which is the hardest trophy but with my typical shitty luck, I died on the final boss just a couple seconds before completing it. Popular Post Joe Dubz
I was able to push through and finish The Escapists +DLC last night, marking my first victory for Tier 3! This was quite the unique and fantastic game! Your whole goal is to escape 1 of 6 prisons by any means necessary. This will see you rummaging through fellow-inmates desks for crafting supplies, beating up guards and borrowing their keys to make copies, gaining the trust of your fellow inmates by gifting things to them and completing their requests... The last one is quite the effective way to get out for the first level, as if they help you beat up enough guards you can just waltz on out of there! But things certainly get more complex as you progress and you will need to be more sneaky and think of clever ways to bust the hell outta there. There was a bit of grinding involved, which was a little annoying. Mainly because 2 of these trophies, one for having 100 visitors, the other for clogging 50 toilets, have absolutely no purpose to the game other than for the trophies. That coupled with the fact that whether toilets clog or not is totally random! I tried to play it smart and chip away at these while going for the rest of the "story-related" stuff. I really only needed to spend 1 hour once all was said and done just to finish these off, so it wasn't terrible or anything. As for the 3 DLCs, each one is another unique prison with special requirements to get out. The first is a tricky and high security spy prison, next up is a small group of 4 at a military base, then lastly you will find yourself in Santa's Sweatshop, the hardest prison of all to escape IMO! That was the only one that took me more than a 2nd try to escape. All in all, I got the game and all DLC for <$10, couple that with the enjoyment I got from this game and I call that a steal! This one gets very high recommendations from me anyway. In fact, I loved the game so much that I've decided to add The Escapists 2 into Tier 3! I will formally add that and Wuppo to my list. So far I have completed at least 1 sub-1% plat in each Tier, so Wuppo is my plan to keep that streak going! I just need to git gud and practice that damn Boss Run (it's just their name for Boss Rush). Anyway, here we are so far: Tier 3: The Escapists (3.59%/1.36%) 100% The Escapists 2 (2.92%/0.92%) 0% Mercenary Kings (1.39%) 0% Neon Abyss (3.31%) 46% Wuppo (0.72%) 68% That will be it for me for a bit, as I am going on holiday for all of next week! Cheers guys and gals, and happy UR hunting!

Evil_Joker88
I made up my mind which games i'm putting upfront for Tier 2. Yu-Gi-Oh Millennium Duels 11/12 (71%) The Last Guardian 14/24 (43%) Vikings. Wolves of Midgard 33/39 (78%) TBA TBA After grinding cards in YuGiOh over the last week i decided to buy 4 dlc packs which give really good cards and i created a new deck with many of those new cards included. I'm in high hopes to clear Expert Mode eventually. Within half a year ? Vikings: i've played it with a friend together and it's amazing. We fight together against other Vikings, goblins and other monsters. One thing that i like is that we have to keep an eye on our elemental resistance as heat or cold damages you after a while until death. We have completed the game 4 times already as it doesn't count game completed for both so we have to go through easy, easy NG+, Hard + Permadeath for both him and me but we made good progress for both Hard+Permadesth playthroughs As for The Last Guardian: i'm halfway through the 2nd playthrough to get all collectibles. After that i'll go again for the collectibles (you need all 48 you can get twice so 96 in total) and after that i'll try a speedrun and hope i make it through within 5 hours...
