They said consoles...though I'm not sure why Switch is its own thing. It still is a console. I'm assuming they'll confirm it officially closer to time. I'll have a Switch, so I can play, but would like to earn trophies for it!

ChiefMichigan
The delay doesn't surprise me, since we'd heard almost nothing about the game since its announcement. This will probably be a day one purchase for me. Hope it's really good.

Xenoblast91
Man, if the graphics are like that, I'll have a huge nostalgia trip. Graphics look exactly as games way back on early 90s... Definitely give it a try!

Popular Post ChiefMichigan
I want this game, for sure. All I gotta say to everyone is pick it up ASAP if you're interested. Every TMNT game ever made has been delisted. Mutants in Manhattan was delisted in about 7 months. Even if Shredder's Revenge sells well, I don't expect it to be on PSN for more than 3 years.

StewartBros
This looks so damn good. As a childhood fan of the Turtles, and a fan of pixel art as well, I will definitely be checking this out as soon as possible.

Ever since the first TMNT from Konami in 1989, almost all of them.

Popular Post ziggypossum
TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Gets Release Window, New Gameplay Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu have announced that TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, the upcoming spiritual successor to the classic late-'80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game and NES port, will be released this Summer for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch. They have also confirmed that the voices actors who played the Turtles in the classic 1987 animated TV series will return for this game. Furthermore, Dotemu has confirmed that a physical release will be made available alongside the usual digital marketplaces and that a digital soundtrack will be on offer too. And to top it all off, we have 10 minutes of new gameplay to show off, consisting of the first two stages. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge was announced just over a year ago. It isn't a direct sequel to the legendary four-player co-op arcade game (nor its beloved NES port), but it's being made as if it would've come out then, complete with its pixel-art graphics. And when it releases this Summer, you'll hear the familiar voices of Cam Clarke (Leonardo), Townsend Coleman (Michelangelo), Barry Gordon (Donatello), and Rob Paulsen (Raphael). https://www.ign.com/articles/tmnt-shredders-revenge-release-window-new-gameplay-pc-ps4-ps5-xbox-one-series-x-s-pc-nintendo-switch

Popular Post NMErickson
Great that this will have a physical release. Will also give some security if it were ever delisted. Crazy that this has been day 1 for me since March of LAST YEAR and now there’s a just a few months left to wait. Between this and the Cowabunga Collection it’s an exciting time for Ninja Turtle and retro fans.

Between this and the Cowabunga Collection it’s an exciting time for Ninja Turtle and retro fans. It's a TMNT game, so delisting is pretty much guaranteed. Mutants in Manhattan was delisted in less than eight months. Out of the Shadows was pulled in early 2017 as well and was only out for about 3 and a half years. Turtles in Time Re-Shelled was delisted in about a year and a half. Basically, if you want a new TMNT game, pick it up pretty quickly. Because the physical copies when they are an option will also go up in price. I'm planning on getting Shredder's Revenge and the Cowabunga Collection as physical releases.
Pumpkin Head Cthulhu
I already pre-oredered a copy of Cowabunga Collection (for the Switch) and I will get a copy of this too. I grabbed Mutants in Manhattan on PS4, a disc copy for 19.99 recently. I also got the PS3 game Danger of the Ooze on a Black Friday sale when it was released as well.
