Next year I plan on adjusting it to exclude certain very common genres like Action, Adventure, Drama and a few others to 1) Make One Trick Pony harder to get and 2) Make its impact on Minesweeper less of a pain. But for now it is what it is.

I finished the challenge I was able to finish Trackmania Turbo and Stadium was really easy in comparison to Valley and Lagoon. By far my hardest platinum so far. There were several tracks I needed 5-8 hours to finish. The hardest part is to nearly drive perfectly because one error can cost you the gold medal. I guess through all no damage trophies in other games I was already used to retry the tracks more often without loosing my sanity. I can only say good luck to everyone who try to do the platinum. I am by far no racing god and far below average I would say, so you can finish this game with enough patient!

 

I will put up a new list for the year next week. I already have finished some other games and I wanted to do a bit of a crazy Monster Hunter serie badge list with three games. I think this will take me some time to finish

Platinum #266: Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

I absolutely love souls games. They are just so deep and rich, so meaty. You can really lose yourself in them. This was a hard and long one. Took me almost 80hrs and I died a bajillion times, but it was genuinely fun. So fun in fact that Ima do Dark Souls 2 vanilla back to back with it, just got it on PS3. This is my 7/10, but if I'm unable to muster the strength to do Gran Turismo 7 I might use an alternate guide to bump this one up to an 8/10 and use vanilla as my 7/10. We'll see.

Give me a shout if you need any tips, but there really should only be a couple of licenses that give you any trouble. Basic completion of the circuit experiences without getting gold is super easy. There is always an OP car (and lowered difficulty settings) for the menu books, and finishing 50 sport races just takes time, you don't need to win any (unlike GT Sport).

Thanks man! I've done the whole menu and a lot of miscellaneous trophies. It's the license tests I'm worried about. Everyone said 6's were super easy, but I couldn't do them for the life of me...so I'm stressed about 7's license tests. Ima put in some work though!

It is unbelievable how hard I slept on Darkest Dungeon, since it is now probably one of my favorite roguelikes/-lites if not my favorite! Took me almost three years, but the game somehow managed to scratch that Dark Souls itch and it did it without any dodge rolling or beautiful landscapes to sit down and admire to stress down after a grueling battle. And like Dark Souls, the barrier to entry was very high with all the elements this game has, but once I got in the zone, two months just suddenly disappeared.

A big thing in your favour is that one of the updates changed the physics, which made driving much easier without lowering the times on the license tests.

Street Fighter X Tekken (1.45%): This game is a grindfest, more than half of the trophies is stuff like "do this 300 times, do that 500 times, and while you are it, how about finishing 500 of these too?". I think someone at Capcom added an additional zero in these requirements and never bothered to patch it, this makes even more sense when you look at the vita trophy set. Anyways, if were just for that the difficulty would be a 1/10, however we also have mission mode and this alone increases the difficulty to a 5 (mission 19 still give me nightmares). Thankfully the game has an easy mode called Zangief. That aside, you're looking at one of the most easier fighting game plats out there, especially compared to other Capcom titles like SSF4.

Edit: Also, good fricking luck getting that Arcade request to work.

I've heard the sequel is fundamentally different than the first game, like you only have one party and the campaign technically can be over in a good 3 hours or so.

I wanted to make this my VR / Monster Hunter list. Depending on which number Sunbreak will be i have filled it as 5 or 7 and will switch after it is official. I guess i will need a lot of time to finish those games but if i can this will be a nice series badge i can be proud of this year haha

Job Simulator:
With the New VR2 in place i wanted to test some possibilities with the New technology since i never tried VR1. It was a short expierience (like most VR games at the moment) but i had some fun with the jobs and dialogue of the game. I wouldnt recommend it for everyone but if you are a bit open minded it can be fun!

 

Moss:
I played the game with my wife on the weekend and it was a fantastic game for VR. The jump and run passages and the different views if you stand up from sitting was a great expierience. You can look around corners and you need to activate some Blocks as watcher for Quill for him to pass some obstacles. It was a sweet change  of pace after those harder games

 

Pistol Whip:
In my opinion so far one of the best expierience i had woth the VR. It isnt too bad that the graphics are a bit minimalistic but it is so much fun to shoot the enemies and it feels real good with the handling. The first game i really was exhausted playing after 1-2 hours since you need to dodge the enemy bullets all the time. If you never tried it i can highly recommend the game!

 

Furi:
A game i wanted to play a long time already. Due to the trophies i Was a bit unsure if i can manage the game. It is kind of a fighting bullet hell Boss rush game. After you getting used to the gameplay and know the pattern of the enemies it is an addictive gameplay.

The Trilogy Pack itself doesn't have an official guide on here, however each individual game in the pack does, with China - the one linked - being given as a 6/10. The trilogy pack combines the same trophies from each individual episode, so I figure it qualifies. PlatPrices does has the pack as a 6 as well, but I prefer using the ratings on this site for this challenge - I find some of the PlatPrices difficulty ratings slightly questionable to put it mildly.

 

Anyway, I found the difficulty reasonable enough - helped by a slightly generous checkpoint reload system. I actually found the India trophy list to be the hardest one of the three, despite it being the lowest ranked difficulty-wise, the no-kill run was fairly difficult and the speed run target for the last level was also a tough challenge to hit, took a fair few goes. Guess it's all relative really. Enjoyed all three of the games, a bit light on story but entertaining enough.

 

That should net me the Series Conquerer badge as well. Good job, I think I'm assassined out now.
