@Wurstmann69 Technically according to the rules Resident Evil 7 wouldn't count...but...I don't think I had games like this in mind when I wrote this. Looking at it now I think we can/should count Resident Evil 7/8 as VR games since their VR support is so extensive ?

Glad you got it done without too much issue. Funny how different people excel at different games... I put it in the 'a bit of a challenge' category, but there are dozens of plats on your profile that would be straight up impossible for me.

I finished the platinum for Persona 3 Portable today and I also got P3 dancing in moonlight as well (I was playing the game in parallel of P3P grind). I didn't know dancing was a 2/10 so I will replace my 2/10 with it.

Only 4 to go! My 8/9/10 are games I already beat but never got 100% so it should not be too hard.

I I wanna thank everyone for their 5/10 advice.  However, and I'm very excited to say this, I went with Uncharted 3 Remastered for 5/10!  I love this one, and beating it on crushing was soooooo gratifying!  Next up on my pursuit for OCD is 6/10, which I believe will be the PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus!  But who knows!

Got a little update for my list. I've completed one more game that can fill out a spot - Superliminal. I think it's probably the speed run trophy that makes most sites count it higher than I would personally. Also some of the blueprints and hidden chess pieces are practically impossible to find without a guide - also some of them can be pretty hard to reach without understanding the mechanics really well. 

 

I think maybe I had an edge on the speed run part, due to having the platinum in The Witness, with the hard speed run segment. So this felt less frustrating compared

Another game done for my minesweeper list, death squared was a short puzzle game that gets pretty complicated by the end. It also comes with a mostly straightforward trophy list where you pretty much just have to beat both modes of the game and find a few secrets that aren't super obvious but the game is good about hinting something might be hiding in their levels. Overall a fun simple game to finish before I moved on to Sifu.

Platinum #270: Nier Automata

Another platinum down for my second list. I'll be working on this list much more slowly since I'm currently discovering the awesomeness of "retro trophies" but I was already halfway through this one and decided to finish it up. Good game, though not the mind blowingly excellent experience I expected going into it from all the good stuff I'd heard. I liked it though, very unique and definitely stands out and above the average game. Next platinum I do will most likely be Resident Evil 4 which is for my third list so it'll be a while before I update this one again.

Another update from me after chugging away some of the games on my list, including a swap in my 4/10 category:

 

2/10: The Liar and the Blind Prince 

4/10: Dead or Alive 6 

8/10: Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 

 

After playing Yomawari: Midnight Shadows quite awhile back and enjoyed it as a result, I’ve been wanting to try some of the other games from the publisher, NIS America, and finally got to playing and finishing another one, The Liar and the Blind Prince. This game has a unique charm to it and I think much of it is due to the adorable handwritten art and its “nighttime storytelling” style. This game’s story moved me more than I had expected and enjoyed every second of it. The game’s platinum is not hard at all and is a relaxing one with very basic platforming and simple puzzles, with the exception of probably one where you actually had to put your thinking cap on.

 

I decided to swap out Void Terrarium (another game from NIS America) with Dead or Alive 6, and will most likely move VT into tier 2 if I get that far. Had to take advantage of the sale recently going for DOA6 and was actually in the mood for a simple fighter and this game fit the bill. Another game that wasn’t hard at all and actually finished almost all of the trophies in a single day. Like all the other DOA’s before it…hot characters in exotic costumes, kick-ass martial arts moves, cheesy victory lines…what’s not to like? 

 

And finally Call of Duty BO3…the single player wasn’t too bad except for a few parts in certain missions towards the end when playing Realistic difficulty solo. Even the Veteran no death run wasn’t too bad and I did this one solo as well. The multiplayer on the other hand though…god damn lmao. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry due to the ridiculousness of seeing some of the most racist shit being represented from some players in that mode. Each player has an emblem and a calling card that you can customize where it seems like you can write or draw anything (or probably modded) to your heart’s content…and without any supervision on what is allowed or not…and both the emblem and calling cards are shown at the top 3 players screen after a match has ended. There was one instance where someone had a drawn swastika (Nazi symbol) on their emblem. Another instance where a player had the “N” word written in its entirety on their calling card. And another where a player had a statement on their calling card that said “put Jews in …” Not sure what this last one meant but I know it can’t be anything good lol. All this along with the arguing between players, random activity going on in the background, music playing that no one wants to hear, etc, but at least there was an option to mute if I wasn’t being entertained by what was being put on blast through their mics lmao. Unfortunately, I had to experience all this for over half my journey towards the grind to lvl 55 before I found a glitch that could work via self boosting. The video on the xp boost glitch method that was posted in one of the BO3 threads seems to only work if you have a 2nd controller AND a boosting buddy, as opposed to another method where all you need is your main account and a second console (and a dummy account). Other than that multiplayer can be fun I guess…when you’re winning or playing well lol, but tbh it felt more of a drag because of the long grind, at least until I discovered the latter glitch that shortened the time required. The zombies trophies wasn’t too bad either since completing the Easter Egg in Shadows of Evil isn’t a requirement for the platinum, however having it complete may help you and whatever group you’re in when going for some of the other DLC trophies. Zombies is a much more fun mode than Mulitiplayer, but then again I’m more of PVE person than a PVP one.

I was able to finish Crash Bandicoot 4 and it was a great game in my opinion. A bit much of collectables in this game (finish all levels deathless with all boxes, time trials, n.verted levels) but i did find a Routine which fits me best. After the first playthrough i did start completing all levels starting from the last level and moving forward to the first level. There were some real challenging ones and some levels took me some hours to complete. Not sure how the time is counting for the save file, but in the end i had an end time of 44 hours. My PS5 says 57 hours so not sure if i was really letting the game running for 13 hours without doing anything.

 

In addition i am working with @BlackReka on MH Iceborn to clear as much as possible before Sunbreak is releasing. 16 crowns to go and we hope that we can continue with Sunbreak a month or so After the Release ? Depending on the difficulty rating i need to adjust my list then as well.
