Popular Post Han_the_Dragon
It's been "again" ages since my last update, but this time I got quite a few things done! Along with a BINGO line! On the other hand, with Gran Turismo Sport server closure announcement, I'm unsure if I will be able to complete everything.. Either way, I'm also using this post to request some suggestions for the "Suggested by a PSNP member slot"... last year I was suggested Ara Fell and it was quite a fun game that I would normally not look twice at because of the pixel (retro..) art style.. So, I will try to keep an open mind on what I get suggested as long as it's not sports games, FPS or shovelware.. The update: Games List: Spoiler B1 - Banned/Censured in a Country - Fairy Tail B2 - Spawned an Extended Universe - Final Fantasy XVI B3 - One Word Title - Datura B4 - Adventure - Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 B5 - In a Series New to You - Eventide: Slavic Fable I1 - Racing or Sports - Toybox Turbos I2 - That You Meant to Play last Year - I3 - Recommend by a PSNProfiles Member - I4 - DLC Pack or Standalone DLC - Street Fighter VI •PS5 •World Tour DLC I5 - Cult Favorite - N1 - That You Can Beat in One Sitting - Eventide 2: Sorcerer's Mirror N2 - Frightening/Horror - N3 - Player's Choice - N4 - Sci-Fi or Fantasy themes - Legasista N5 - For Another PSNP Event - Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion •PS5 G1 - Free to Play - Paraiso Island •EU G2 - In-game Weather Effects - Persona 4 Golden •EU •PS4 G3 - Has No Humans - G4 - With an Isometric View - TOEM: A Photo Adventure G5 - With Online Features - Granblue Versus: Fantasy O1 - With Player Operated Vehicles - Wild Arms •PS5 O2 - Crafting Mechanics - Lost Sphear O3 - Released in Your Birth Month - Eventide 3: Legacy of Legends O4 - That You Started but didn't Finished - Dragon Ball Xenoverse •PS4 O5 - That Gives You the Feels - Persona 3 Portable •EU Edited September 30, 2023 by Han_the_Dragon

Thanks for the suggestions! While I knew most of those (and I have been thinking for a while about purchasing Disco Elysium), I don't remember noticing Creaks, but from what I looked up, it's something that I will enjoy and it's quick, making it perfect for my current situation with GT Sport! And since you suggested it, how scary is Call of Cthulhu? I'm not really a fan of horror games (be it Deadspace or Until Dawn style), I even took forever to finish Thief because of a part where we are in a haunted asylum because of all the scare stuff. lol

Well worth the playthroughs.
AgentPenguin08
Hey everyone, one of my Bingo Card Squares is “Recommended by a PSNP user”. Looking for a good recommendation! Preferably something that won’t take months to finish and something on PS Plus Catalogue as buying new games isn’t in the budget right now haha

Popular Post AgentPenguin08
Arcade, Rhythm, or Puzzle - Human Fall Flat PSNP classifies this as a puzzle game so I guess it counts! Again killing 2 birds with 1 stone by clearing backlog games for this. Once I got used to the controls is was fun figuring out ways to break the game and bypass certain parts. Playing all the DLCs got repetitive but glad it's conquered!
Popular Post MAUSZX
First update in months AND BINGO. E So this are the updates: With # or punctuation. Forma.8.- Even better, why not both? Lol, this one I played on the Vita since I was moving I couldn't play my consoles, so I did end up playing this one, it is very good, very zen type of game, beatiful in so many levels, great colors even tho most of it is dark, when it shows colors they really shine. Half metrovania, half exploration game. Non-human Sidekick. NEXOMON.- If you don't know this is a Pokemon clone, in a good way, this was the first entry, but it came after the sequel on consoles, so it is weird that this game looks better than the sequel, but that is the reason. So many things were better in the other game and others were better in this one, they are working on the third entry, hope they keep the good stuff of both. Recommended by another PSNP member: Child of light, shout-out to @Flitterbloom since recommended this one: Surprisingly a short game, not surprising at all that the game is beautiful looking, I heard rumors of a sequel, I don't know if that is real, but the game is a good one, it turns suprisingly hard at some points. Meant to play last year: God of War Ragnarok.- Well, considering I have a big backlog, I actually did wanted to play this one last year, since it came out and I want to avoid spoilers as fast as possible, I know I stopped listening to some podcast for this same reason, I failed and didn't play this game until this year. Awesome game, not a lot to say, good looking, new weapon which end up my favourite and the ending, considering how last game ends, you are always thinking on that while playing the game, I really like this 2 games of the series, considering I wasn't a big fan of the young always mad Kratos, this 2 games made me want to play them again, maybe see another perspective. Sci-fi Theme: Deathpool.- I was excited for this game, also on my backlog, fan of Dishonored, fan of Edge of Tomorrow and Groundhog day movies, so this was really something I was hype when announced, then I saw that there was going to be online multiplayer and stuff like that and it turn me down a little bit, happy to say the online nonsense doesn't really get in the way of the game , super unnnecesary but ok, this game had so much potential, and while is good it felt short, I feel like the cut corners and put it out sooner than anticipated, because it really seems like they wanted to add some Hitman stuff, but didn't have the time or experience for that. For another event: ERICA.- This game I end up doing because of the I Know What You Did Last 13 Plats of Halloween event, also because I really need to clear up some space on my external HDD, since it seems that if I fill it up, the ps5 has a hard time to read it, and this game was +40GB, so it fits. Also I like those interactive movie games, and this one was actually very good, you need to beat at least 5 times for the plat, but really it made me question, was the main character crazy or the conspiracy real? I leave it like that, because I do not want spoilers to people that haven't play it, but at this point I don't really know, but I liked this, I watched like 5 different routes and I don't know I think the story really leaves it a little to interpretation I guess. With Minigames on it: Saints Row Gat out of Hell.- This game is basically all minigames, since the story is basically 4 missions. My take on Saints Row (considering volition just died) is that the best game was Saints Row 2, and Saints Row the Third was the turn around, remember the first 2 Saints Row games were like GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, they were in some ways serious but they also were a big sandbox games so they went kinda goofy in some missions and specially on the mini games, they always went crazy, GTA evolved to a more serious game I guess realistic, with some crazy nonsense here and there. And Saints row the Third went the other way. VIDEO GAMEEES GUYS, they went full nonsense, and it was fun, they still had some "serious stuff here and there", then they went even crazier with Saints Row 4, and I remember thinking, "the comedy is great, but there were some sections were they showed that they could do more stuff, but they were hidden with all the crazy nonsense". So Gat out of hell was the way to keep milking the Saints Row the Third, crazy nonsense before it gets old, game ended up being buggier than any of the other games, humor was super mild, and I guess people catch up, because there were no Saints Row game after this one and then they had to reboot the game, the rest is history, if you liked Saints row 4, is basically the same with no good jokes and super mid humor. I still have some games done, I just don't know where to lock it in, I will after october for sure. Edited October 2, 2023 by MAUSZX
Popular Post JayDeLosDioses
Another Bingus and the second to last square of my board marked. My plan was to get the Project Cars 1 platinum for this square, but I had the urge to play a Saints Row game, tried out the free one on my second account - had 3 bugs and 2 crashes in the first hour - stopped playing it and just finished off Saints Row Gat out of Hell - in just 7 years and a bit, speedrunner in the making. Two months time to get my PSVR2 back out and finish Horizon. The only game I've played so far in VR, not really my most used purchase this year.
Popular Post AgentPenguin08
Recommended by a PSNP member - Inscryption Strategy, Simulation, or Management - Madden 23 2 more games added! Big thanks to @DrBloodmoney for recommending me Inscryption, what a game! I was a little nervous going in because card games are a genre I've never played before, but I really enjoyed my time with it. Super unique experience that made me wanting to keep playing to find out what happens next. Gameplay was addicting too. Also I realized I beat the story (franchise) mode of Madden 23 a while ago this year but for whatever reason never put it together that I could use it for the simulation box!

Popular Post pelagia14
Alright, four more games added to the card - and I'm just one away from a full blackout card now!!! That puts me at 10/12 Bingos! B1 Serial Cleaner - A quirky, silly game where you mop up after mafia hits. The kind of game you can knock out in a weekend or randomly play a level here and there, which is a nice change of pace. In terms of the Bingo square for "Online Features", there is a challenge mode with an online leaderboard for comparing your top scores. If you allow the game to collect your location data, it supposedly will then use the daytime or nighttime version of each level depending on the time of day in your location. Challenge mode lets you manually pick which time of day, so it's not a big deal. B5 The Quarry - The story was really fun to play through because it is your classic campy (literally!) horror movie trope. However, the "chapter select" system is just awfully implemented (writes over the completed game file when you pick a chapter). Combined with the game auto-saving after every choice you make, it is not difficult to end up needing to do one or a few additional playthroughs beyond the minimum 3 in order to get everything. G2 Paradise Killer - A wacky game that is a mix between adventure and visual novel, with a distinct vaporwave aesthetic. At the beginning I was a bit unsure about the game, but I really grew to love it. Also has a fantastic soundtrack! O5 Man of Medan - While the story was somewhat interesting for an interactive horror Supermassive Games creation, the road to the Platinum trophy was extremely aggravating. While the game allows you to play solo, couch co-op, or online co-op, you have to do at least one online co-op playthrough to get certain collectibles. I ended up needing something like 6 full playthroughs and some partial playthroughs for trophies, so I would literally sometimes be playing around on my phone as I listened to a cutscene for the umpteenth time. --- Now I just need to figure out if I can complete an UR Plat game in my backlog before the end of the year and while doing other PSNP events! 🤞 NEW in Green: [B1] With Online Features: Serial Cleaner [B2] That You Can Beat in One Sitting: Tempus [B3] Featuring a Romance Story/Romance Options: Life is Strange [B4] Strategy, Simulation, or Management: PowerWash Simulator [B5] Frightening/Horror: The Quarry [I1] With Gorgeous Vistas: Lost Ember [I2] Based on a Non-Gaming IP: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order [I3] For Another PSNP Event: AER: Memories of Old [I4] In-Game Weather Effects: Hogwarts Legacy [I5] Last Game You Acquired: Aspire: Ina's Tale [N1] No Jump Button: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - Reunion [N2] Has No Humans: Seasons After Fall [N3] Player's Choice: Mass Effect 2 - Legendary Edition [N4] Cult Favorite: Inscryption [N5] That Takes 'Forever' to Beat: Hades [G1] Spawned an Extended Universe: Ratchet & Clank [G2] Starts With the First Letter of Your PSNID (P): Paradise Killer [G3] Has Snacks: Donut County [G4] Developed in a Foreign Country: Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line [G5] Retro Re-release (Originally Without Trophies): Spyro the Dragon [O1] With an Isometric View: Toem [O3] That You Meant to Play Last Year: Mass Effect 1 - Legendary Edition [O4] That "Everyone" But You Has Played: Marvel's Spider-Man [O5] With Mystery or Detective Themes: Man of Medan
Popular Post AgentPenguin08
That you've been meaning to get to - Bioshock Remastered Played this game 4 years ago for about a couple hours, got distracted with other stuff, and seriously been wanting to get back to it since! This square finally gave me the encouragement I needed to finish this amazing game. Also, one line complete!!
Popular Post Platinum_Vice
Four more! Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart can be beaten in one sitting, although I recommend spacing it out a bit more to savour all of those colourful setpieces and arenas. Picking a foreign game is almost like an additional 'player's choice box' considering how few games get pumped out of Australia. I went with Outer Wilds, and recommend that you do, too! Pursuit Force starts with the letter P, and ends with cold serve of JUSTICE. This game is like Time Crisis without the gun calibrations. Otherwise, the tone, plot, gameplay, voice acting and graphics are exactly the same. For a game that I meant to play in 2022, I went with Solar Ash, as I've been waiting to play it for... well... for a year! I enjoyed it for the most part. The control system is really fluid. Feels like I'm playing Shadow of the Colossus while tripping acid and if Wander gracefully ice-skated across the Forbidden Lands, instead of being held captive by a brain-damaged horse.
Flitterbloom
Here's my little update, it seems like I can't be bothered to complete one line yet again. Blasphemous - Side-scrolling (or Bullet hell). This one has been on my radar for quite some time now. For some reason games (or books, movies) about "religion" kinda appeal to me, I had to try this one. I enjoyed it, platinumed it... and will play the sequel at some point. Sea of Stars - Originally released in 2023. I'm not really into turn-based games but I felt like "why not" when this game was added to the PS+ Extra catalogue. The game is beautiful, graphics, sounds... but I must admit the part I enjoyed the most is the game of Wheels. I don't know why it just grew on me. It was fun! Inside - That you meant to play last year. And each year since its release, probably. Finally did it. Enjoyed it, it seemed easier than Limbo but I liked its atmosphere... even went for the second and "secret" ending. We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip - Last game you acquired. Which was the last game that I added in my library at this moment. I'm not into multiplayer games (I'm not competitive at all) but this one reconciled me with co-op games. I had an amazing time. Shout-out to my Perfect Partner on this one! He's been amazingly patient with me for the last puzzle/room. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two - Has no humans. I just love Disney and have been wanting to try out an Epic Mickey game since I saw one on the Wii. I may have started with the sequel but I'll probably play the first one too, now. I liked it, a lot! It was fun, I enjoyed the story and one more point for I just love musicals, so there's that. I have one small question. I'm about to go back to a game I tried last year BUT I got no trophy on it yet. Is it still ok to use it to check "That you started but didn't finish" (since you'll have to take my word for it)? I could also check "with a punctuation" with this one, so it won't go to waste anyway 😄. Keep having fun everyone! 3

Popular Post gamer_darkly
Update No. 4 BINGO!! Last 3 boxes done. Featuring a Romance or Romance Options - Root Letter - I liked this a lot. Tempted to visit Shimane. Reboot or Spiritual Successor - Spyro the Dragon Reignited - This was the 3rd game I bought for my PS1 so it's been a while since I played it. Easier than I remember. That Takes "Forever" to Beat - Nioh 2 - Ok, I've done all but one DLC mission and I'm a little tired after 130 hours, but damn this game is good. The story was probably my favourite part. The way it weaves Japanese history and mythology together is so well done. It's been a fun event as always. I may come back next year but for now I must rest.
Popular Post Hurricane_Tanya
Four more games today, because I’ve been slacking with updating this event. Astro’s Playroom for ‘Everyone has played but you’. I feel like every PS5 owner should play this game first, it’s so charming and hearing the ps1 and ps2 sounds definitely made me feel nostalgic. I finally got a PS5 last month so I could play this too. Hitman for ‘Reboot or Spiritual Sequel’. I was going to get more of the dlc finished first, but I keep getting distracted by other games. I really love the new Hitman games though, they allow you to be so creative with getting rid of your targets. I just find them to be a very fun way to relax. Powerwash Simulator for ‘Takes forever to beat’. I know it’s not a 150 hour rpg, but it still took me about 70 hours to finish up the story (I did get distracted by dlc and the Tomb Raider levels). It’s a shame there’s no background music for this game, just the white noise of the power washer, but it was still a game that hit my need to clean up areas in games perfectly. Finally, Haven for ‘Sci-Fi or Fantasy’. You play as a couple on a strange planet and the aim of the game is to explore the planet and make a new home for yourself. I thought it was very cute, although the dialogue at times had me worrying for the future of this couple, as they seem to not really know each other as well as they think. The oldest game in my backlog is Fallout 4, let’s see if I can finally finish the story after almost 8 years. Popular Post stuthesheep
While I remember I suppose I'd better officially announce a FULL HOUSE - it's only taken me about three weeks to get around to it. First off is I4 and the 2023 release of Jedi: Survivor. A much improved sequel to the original with slightly more to do outside the main story and a much more user-friendly map interface than the casserole of the first one. It'll be great when it's finished - still plenty of irritating little bugs, but nothing that could be classed as completely gamebreaking. Apparently it was a complete shambles when it released in March but it wasn't too bad an experience for me overall though. Might be worth waiting for a few more updates before giving it a shot though. Next is its neighbour B4 marked off with The Quarry. Enjoyed my first playthrough, however with three playthroughs needed for the plat the numerous plot holes became more and more obvious the longer I played it and the last go-around was an absolute chore, the unskippable cinematics really didn't help. Still worth a playthrough for the experience though, maybe not for the trophies. Followed that with N5 for a cult favourite. I took cult to mean a game with not a whole lot of players but seems to have glowing reviews, so went with Chorus. Had a great time with this, it's basically Starfox-style space combat. Really really fun and really should have a lot more than 8k players. And my final box of the year is I3 with Rocket League, the daddy of free-to-play games and one I finally got around to platting after having it languishing at 2% near the bottom of my profile for almost six years (so long ago I may have actually paid for it, but whatevs). Spoiler B1 (Player Choices) Oxenfree 10/8 I1 (No Jump Button) Life is Strange: True Colors 14/6 N1 (Meaning to Play) Firewatch 13/7 G1 (Mystery) The Suicide of Rachel Foster 27/4 O1 (DLC) Marvel's Spider-Man: The Heist 13/1 B2 (Fantasy) Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Trilogy 17/3 I2 (Crafting) Assassin's Creed: Rogue 18/2 N2 (Puzzle) True Fear: Forsaken Souls 1 21/8 G2 (Hype) Horizon Forbidden West 18/4 O2 (PS Plus) Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order 31/8 B3 (Simulator) Jurassic World Evolution 2 4/8 I3 (Free to Play) Rocket League 19/10 N3 (Player's Choice) Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales 22/6 G3 (Vehices) Uncharted: The Lost Legacy 29/6 O3 (Vistas) Far Cry Primal 24/5 B4 (Horror) The Quarry 3/10 I4 (2023) Star Wars: Jedi Survivor 27/9 N4 (Banned) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 26/4 G4 (No Humans) Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart 17/6 O4 (Exclusive) Astro's Playroom 17/3 B5 (Snacks) Maneater 26/5 I5 (Underplayed) True Fear: Forsaken Souls 2 22/8 (652 players at time of completion) N5 (Cult) Chorvs 19/10 G5 (Racing) F1: 2016 11/6 O5 (Reboot) God of War 4/3 That's it then. See you next year!!
Yen-Pop
One last square, one last square! And while it is Yakuza 0, which is a huge undertaking, I know that for this event I just need to finish the story - which is great! But I just needed a break with a little horror element indie game. Call of the Sea for G3 Frightening/Horror is a little unconventional, but it definitely has all of the horror elements without any of the jump scares, with a heaping helping of Lovecraftian/Eldritch horror on top. And if you're also someone who lives with a chronic illness with seemingly no cure, it's a fucking terrifying allegory about the difference between who you are with it and without it. It was a great, quick game that's free for PS Plus Extra, so if you're needing to fill in some last minute boxes I definitely recommend it. Except for that fucking constellation puzzle that thing sucks. BrickwallBill
It's a bit late in the year, but I'd like to join this challenge! I will figure out a game list to see what squares still need to be fulfilled and post it hopefully later today. Edit: Is there a good way on the site to search by Release Date?
