Popular Post PotrikBerger
Finally just completed the last game I needed for my first card - Lake (PS5) Green - Need for Speed Unbound Brown - Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me Light Green - Lake Pink - Chicory: A Colourful Tale Yellow - Like a dragon: Ishin! Blue - Resident Evil 4 Maroon - Horror Tales: The Wine White - Cricket 22 Purple - Darq Tan - Forspoken Orange - Weird West Red - Inscryption Black - Dark Souls: Remastered Light Blue - Hogwarts Legacy Deep Purple - Football Manager 2023 Grey - PGA Tour 2k23 But.....I have been playing and platting a few other games in between completing this first card so I do have a few entries to declare for the 2nd card. Obviously I'm keen to get as many of them onto the 2nd card as I can, but may be pushing some of the boundaries close, just hopefully not too close. But I'm sure @DrBloodmoney can be relied on for calling me out on any I'm royally taking the piss the with :) Black - Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin Green - Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One Brown - Dredge Yellow - Tchia! Maroon - Killer Frequency White - Dead island 2 Purple - Humanity Tan - Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Red - Tales of Iron Light Blue - Final Fantasy XV Grey - Atomic Heart It will be tough to update regularly moving forwards as it seems Cloudflare has finally prevented me, on what now seems like a permanent basis, from using the forum side of the site on the only device I have at home that I can use. I now have to use someone else's Laptop to get into the forum side of the site, which isn't ideal. But great to see so many people engaged and involved with this challenge since my last update. Keep up the good work all!

Otherwise, everything on Card 2 looks good!

Popular Post Duke_Ryle
Finished another two games for my kaleidoscope. I am Setsuna for light green and Watchdogs for black. I wish I had the time to write about my experiences with them. So long story short: I am Setsuna = Good JRPG with some things that can be improved upon. Watchdogs = Gameplay is OK. Boring after a while, lots of filler, lots of repeating mission types with little variation, drab characters and open world.

Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Hello Everyone! It has been a while hasn't it?! (Over 2 months) I have completed a couple of games/DLCs since so let's do an update on things... Let me know if something is not the right fit. New Additions: Orange: Mafia - Damn what a great game, loved every second of it. The title of the game should give a hint what it's about ... set in the 1930s. It is kind of weird in a way that it is open world but it's just a linear story with nothing else to do in the city other than collectibles. I loved it so much that I'm going to play the rest of the games. Already started on Mafia II, it's a little rough going back to that PS3 game but so far it's more of the same. Green: Sacred 3 Orcland Story (DLC) - So I switched this with Tales of Symphonia (put that for light green). I think the green is darker on this one but faded so I'm a little conflicted on this one. I went back to the the DLCs for Sacred 3 recently, a top down hack n' slash game. The DLCs add extra characters and story. A bit grindy to be honest but not too bad overall. The funny thing is the Orcland Story DLC uses the same image as the main game but all the others have unique ones. Brown: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (PS3) The Legend of Dead Kel (DLC) - I think I saw Beyondthegrave07 do KOA for brown but I thought the DLC image would be a better look. I did play the entire game in the past 2 months tho. The main campaign was kind of meh. The game is just too big for its own good. The story takes a backseat to all the other (side-)quests I came across and completed. I really prefered the DLCs since they were there own separate, isolated little stories (accessed from the main game). That's another reason why I prefer to use the DLC image. Overall the game was just ok (I kind of got bored of it about 3/4 into it and just rushed the story to the end) and while I got the remaster on PS4 from PS+ I don't think I will play it. Also I've been told the extra DLC isn't good. Gray: Tiny Troopers: Joint Ops - Top down twin-stick shooter. 2 short campaigns and one even shorter DLC. It was quite fun and great little game when KOA was getting stale.
Popular Post lady-reze
For red, I played Signalis. I'm a huge Silent Hill fan, and you can definitely see the inspiration it took from the franchise. The graphics and third-person shooter element felt very reminiscent to the Silent Hill gameplay, and the EULE enemies reminded me a lot of the Nurse monsters in Silent Hill. There is also save rooms which, as many know, are a callback to any Resident Evil game. I really admire the aesthetics and references to classic survival horror games. The soundtrack choice (especially Chopin's Raindrop Prelude for the title sequence) was gorgeous. However, the game can be a bit tedious. I know it's very much trying to be like older survival horror games, but the lack of inventory space and need to constantly backtrack to a save room to unload your inventory was tiring at times. It was especially annoying when these save rooms were located in a tight hallway filled with 2-3 monsters (who can respawn at any time unless you have an item to permanently kill them) that could get easy damage on you. But.. it's just a minor complaint. This was overall a great experience. Survival difficulty is required for the platinum and it was a bit scary for me at first as I tend to enjoy my games on normal-easy mode. I managed, however lol.

Just thought I'd mention, given what you said about Powerwash Simulator, (and given that we definitely seem to have a lot of crossover in the games we like!) - you might want to have a look into a game called Hardspace Shipbreaker! It's an awesome game, and one that I think taps into a lot of the same satisfaction-loop of things like Powerwash Simulator, and looks great, is super well designed, and has a really good narrative that goes along with it too. ☺️ (my review HERE if you fancy - bottom one in that batch)
Popular Post Kefka1986
Here I am with another update: This time I played Nights of Azure. If you are a fan of ARPGs, well written stories and characters, and you are looking for a great game to play, RUN AWAY FROM THIS GAME AS FAR AS YOU CAN. This isn't a Gollum level disaster but it was a pain to play and an even bigger nightmare to platinum, with boring and grindy trophies (one asks you to complete 300 quests and the normal amount of quests done after you complete everything else in the game is 100...). I won't be playing Nights of Azure 2, ever! For my next game I though of playing Biomutant, but as it's also a not so well made game, I think I'm going to play Yooka Laylee first. And then Final Fantasy Type 0! Edited June 24, 2023 by Kefka1986
Taruta13
I'd put down my update, but Warhaven's ad is covering the screen and making it impossible to click any buttons without getting shunted to their website.

After reading your review, I am now *super* excited to play the game! I've just wishlisted the game in the PS store so that I get an alert for when it next goes on sale. Thanks so much, DrB! (Also? The fact that you have to learn how to dismantle tertiary systems by trial and error sounds incredible!)
Popular Post BlackSquirrell1
Well, Imgur isn't too receptive today about sharing images, so I'll just have to post old school: For White, I'm offering Valliant Hearts: The Great War. A story about WW1 told from the perspective of 4 different individuals, and a dog. Excellent game! For Gray, I'm submitting Wytchwood. Really nice game, enjoyed it right to the end. Hopefully, my next update will be the traditional way with an actual gamecard.

Popular Post D4T-V4UL7_HUN7R_
Ahoy, I have a singular update to my kaleidoscope gaming chart with Gri(n)d Legends up there in the WHITE rectangle. Grid legends is a pretty fun racing game but also a pretty not so fun platinum/100%. Custom race creator: fun. Ability to use cool cars you don't own yet via the car loan feature: noice. Demolition derby: sign me up. Drive 99 miles in an ice cream truck (slowest car in the dlc) for a measly bronze trophy: In conclusion Grid Legends was fun until is wasn't because of those unnecessary grindy trophies but also a perfect game for this rainbow event because I would not have finished it without the motivation
