The only one that definitely doesn't work is God of War: Ragnarok, as there is no Black in that one (the background is transparent) - I think it would be best to stick Galaga from Red into Black, as there is much more Black on that one than Red, save God of War: Ragnarok for a blue or Grey on a second card, and try to find a new Red one I'll stick you in for 15/16 for the moment, based on that! Thank you! I've changed it to this: I will move God of War to a second card and I will need to complete a red game to complete the card. I was actually meaning to play the PS5 version before the new one comes out, so that would be a perfect fit!

Popular Post Finch_III
Another couple of games added to my Rainbow: West of Dead (deep purple) was a fun little rogue-like twin-stick shooter that quickly became very grindy for the platinum. The base game can be done in about 15 hours, but then you need to collect "lost souls", which essentially means running through the first level of the game over and over and over for approximately 10 hours. A shame really, as it would have been a really enjoyable platinum if they'd either put some more interesting trophies in for replay value, or simply cut the number of souls you needed to collect in half. I completed the (very short) DLC in order to use the DLC image – the normal image is red, and I've already got Red covered. The Longest Road on Earth (Grey) feels like more of an art project than a game. It's a pixel-art walking sim that shows a day in the life of various anthropomorphised animals. The standout feature for me was the music, which really is great (I've added one or two songs to my Spotify playlist). Otherwise, there's not much to say about it. A very quick platinum with some interesting stories, but not massively memorable for me.
Popular Post lady-reze
For purple, I played Celeste I've been wanting to play this game for a long time. My ex used to practice speed-running this game a few years ago and I always thought the graphics and general story was cute from what I saw. I put it off for a long time because I have no experience with platformers and as I expected, I was god awful at this game. There is an assist mode and I'm not gonna lie I did use it sometimes when I was just... not able to get through some of the chapters lol. The C-Side chapters were very short, so I tried to challenge myself and do those legit but still struggled a lot. Platformers just aren't my thing haha. There is a trophy called Real Gamer where you have to beat Celeste for PICO-8 and there is no assist mode. It took me 3 hours and I had over 1000 deaths by the end of it. At times I thought it was impossible and that I wouldn't get the platinum trophy because of it. I've seen a lot of people in the forums say that if it weren't for assist mode, the platinum rarity would be a lot higher and I definitely agree! I don't think I would be here talking about the game and my experience getting its platinum if not for assist mode lmao. Aside from the gameplay though, I really enjoyed the story of the game. I knew Celeste touched on some mental health issues, but I didn't expect to relate to Madeline and her struggle with anxiety and depression so much. Madeline having to learn to accept Badeline (the embodiment of her negative traits) was really touching, and it's something I related to a lot. The music was also super sweet too, I recognized some of the artists who did the music for certain levels which was really cool! A very enjoyable game for my purple slot ? I'm not too proud to admit I used assist mode to get the trophies. 8-PICO has to be done legit but it's not too hard to get through, and the frustration limit is high so you don't hate your life for trying to get through the 8-bit stages.
Doodlebawp
Hello friends! I'm nearing completion of my first card and I'd like to start chipping away at my second. I'm looking for guidance on possible color options for the below: Atelier's card has a lot going on. I'm open to options. Her jacket could work for yellow and the text color might work for maroon. Maybe tan given the buildings behind her? For FF16 I'd like to avoid defaulting to black. There are so many games that already fit that color. I'm thinking orange for that one or deep purple. Similar story defaulting to blue for DMC5. I think red would be a decent option and it'd help check off a color I've had a difficult time crossing off. If I'm going to bash my head against the wall platting a 10/10 difficulty game I'd like options ?
Popular Post cstanci
Update time! Finished Soul Hackers 2 for Deep Purple! Loved the game - right up my alley with design, characters, music, gameplay, and story. My absolute favorite kind of game. Spent longer on it than most people did for the Platinum but I wanted to 100% everything in the game and I am glad I did! Finished Lydia for Black. The game was meh. I like the art style but that's about all I can say about it.
Popular Post BlackSquirrell1
Getting close to completing the card! Maroon: The Gardens Between. Good afternoon puzzle game. Had me going in circles for a while but wrapped this one up. I recommend it for something different Deep Purple: Life is Strange: True Colors. Didn't think I would like this game, but it was good. Really nice graphics and a good storyline. Recommend it for a good VN.

If I'm going to bash my head against the wall platting a 10/10 difficulty game I'd like options A trick I use for more complicated images is I squint at it to see which colors stand out most to me. Thus for Atelier Ryza 2, I personally think Tan is a fantastic choice, since various shades of tan take up a lot of "surface area" on the card, and that tends to be what my eye is drawn to with this event. For FF16, the gold/orange part really stands out to me against a mostly-dark card, so I agree that Orange would be a great fit (and I might use it for Orange myself once I purchase and beat the game). To me, while there is a lot of dark purple it has low contrast with the rest of the dark (black) background, but it might be another valid option. With DMC5 the tri-color palette does allow the red to pop out pretty strong, but the silver letters also pop out a lot so I'm torn on whether the red could be considered dominant. I'm curious to see what other people think.
Taruta13
I think I'm gonna make FFXIV my last entry on my second card. I know the PS5 trophy icon has a white background so it'll fit into White unless it's a transparent. ? That means I need to work quickly to find out what the last few spots will be. I just have Red, Blue, Yellow and White.

Popular Post D4T-V4UL7_HUN7R_
Since I have a bit of free time I thought I would post an update to my 2nd card. Rime Rime felt like a mixture of a team ICO game (which I love) and Journey (Which I didn't really care too much for). It is a pretty nice puzzle game with an alright "story". The art style is really pretty and I had fun with my 1.5 playthroughs of it Far Cry 6 After playing Far Cry 4 not too long ago, this entry felt a bit more fun. I'm not sure why because its just more of the same formula, but I enjoyed all of it, even the collectibles. Maybe because this one has more fun vehicles like actual helicopters and even tanks. The pets are a nice touch as well. TBH I skipped most of the cutscenes because I've played enough Just Cause to be over the whole revolution theme. Come to think of it this game does have a similar vibe to Just Cause but in first person with less explosions. Still need to go back and do the DLC, so I still have several more hours to look forward to. Infamous First Light I have only ever played the DEMO for one of the infamous games a long time ago which didn't really inspire me to pick up the actual game, but I decided to give this one a try because it was relatively short. I liked all the neon stuff and the supernova ability was super cool. Story was forgettable, and the Arenas were actually the most fun part of the game for me once I figured out what I was doing. It's an okay game but nothing to rave about. Edited July 29, 2023 by D4T-V4UL7_HUN7R_
Popular Post zizimonster
The Great Perhaps for light green. It's a short-but-sweet point-and-clicker I bought for around a buck. In this game, by using the power of a certain lantern, you're able to travel back in time...for 20 seconds - after that, you'll be back in the present. There'll be puzzles involving this gameplay mechanic throughout. In the present, there'll be evil creatures, but in the past, you'll face other obstacles. You can 100% it in a hour or so.

Grey is, in my opinion, one of the most well-spread colours in this event - the sheer number of super-awesome games I’ve seen used for that box is pretty incredible… …and makes it probably the best represented colour in the whole event! Remember for Green - you can pretty much find anything green at all, because if you find one you want to play that is darker than your current “green” one, you can just swap that one to Light Green ?
Popular Post JungleCat20
I'm adding Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood (PS5) for Black. The story was nothing special and the collectibles were overdone. The game had a PS3 feel to it and I did like the stealth, combat, and the ability to interchange between human to wolf to werewolf. Anyway, only two games left. ?

Popular Post lady-reze
For green, I played Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories I found this game randomly while scrolling through the PSN store and the whole aesthetic of the game is green so it's perfect lol. It's a very short and cute game with some funny moments here and there. The music was pretty sweet, too. The best way I'd describe this game is like Animal Crossing mixed with your average RPG Maker game. The entire game is only about two hours long, but I spent about four hours in this game because there is a lot of missable trophies and there's no real guides for this game out there. I had to use Youtube playthroughs and the Steam community page for when I got stuck on some of the trophies. No platinum unfortunately, but that doesn't bother me. Overall I had a good time with this one.

This event is pretty chill with colours that are a stretch, so I'm guessing grey would be okay too, given the writing. (The car looks white to my eyes though).

Popular Post Duke_Ryle
First card is complete! I finished The Legend of Mana for yellow. I really enjoyed this game. It's beautiful to look at with wonderful hand drawn backgrounds. Music is great and what you would expect from a classic JRPG. It has a decentralized narrative consisting of 67 events and you can decide which story events you want to take on and when. It was something I could easily pick up and put down at anytime and feel satisfied. My only problem with this game is that it was too easy. There were many boss battles where I took no damage and I was able to beat the final boss in about 15 seconds taking only one hit. The game has a "No Future" difficulty mode, which I would have loved to play, but like a lot of Square-Enix games the harder difficulty mode is locked until you beat the game once. Ranking games is hard. My ranking of these games is below but numbers 6-13 feel like they could be interchangeable depending on my mood and if I ranked this list again. 1) Fallout New Vegas 2) Skyrim 3) Oxenfree 4) Legend of Mana 5) Little Hope 6) Axiom Verge 2 7) Resident Evil 2 8) I Am Setsuna 9) Afterparty 10) House of Ashes 11) Guardians of the Galaxy 12) Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origins Wanderer of the Rift DLC 13) Gone Home 14) The Medium 15) The Devil in Me 16) Watch Dogs I'm about halfway done with a second card but I highly doubt I'm going to be able to finish it. If I do I'll post. Otherwise, thank you for the great event @DrBloodmoney. Keep up the great work everybody! I've really enjoyed looking at your cards!
Popular Post MarkusT1992
I finaly have a new update with three new games completed. Red: Tails of Iron: This is a 2D souls-like game where you play as a rat and fight against the evil frogs. I started this game for the KYC event and finished it afterwards. It's not really long, only about 5-6 hours for the plat. Not sure if I'm going for the DLC at some point as that requires a second playthrough on the highest difficulty and some boss fights weren't that easy on normal. Pink: Doki Doki Literature Club Plus: A very interesting VN with some serious themes and a game I don't want to spoil. I would recommend to play this VN blind without caring for the trophies first to experience it without spoilers. Black: Stray: Since this game was removed from PS+ last month and it being one of the reasons I got PS+ premium I decided to finally play it before it was gone. It is a mostly linear game with some more open areas to explore. You play as a cat in an apocalyptic world. My first blind playthrough took around 6-7 hours plus a second speedrun with 1:45h. I'm planning to use I am Dead for purple and move Last day of June to deep purple. I thinks that should work. Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Finishing my Second card, courtesy of the various DLC packs for Far Cry 6! Far Cry 6 is a pretty dull latest entry in the franchise - one I had a lot of affection for, but has really devolved to the point that it seems to be treading water... and completely acknowledge that fact in its own writing, since it is absolutely filled with self-referential dialogue where the main character actively tells the player that even she is bored of what she is doing! ? The DLCs are generally a bit more interesting than the game itself... ...but the devs are so excited to have made some interesting game in them, that they all do the same core problem that the main game has - they make you repeat them so many times that they lose whatever fun they accidentally stumbled into! The Vaas DLC is a good Red, the Pagan one works for Pink well, and the Lost Between Worlds DLC (the worst of the bunch) fits for Purple well, and that completes Rainbow 2! I've not actually finished the main game list (due to one rather irritation time-based trophy,) so I'll save the main game image for my 3rd card!
