Popular Post GT__Jedi
It is done!! The last color is Green, which I am submitting Lost Words Beyond the Page. Another somewhat sad game, dealing with the loss of a beloved grandmother. No problems or glitches with the game, but the cut scenes and some dialogue took FOREVER to get through, I mean it was damn slow. So, you may ask, now what are you planning on doing? Well, with the permission of our esteemed leader, @DrBloodmoney, I think I'll start fine-tuning some of those colors with new games. I mean, this is such a fun event, why stop now?
Popular Post Beyondthegrave07
I did a bit of rearranging to fit Persona 4 Golden for #10. Essentially moved 13 Sentinels to black (better fit anyways), Kingdom of Alamur to gray (still works pretty well), Tales of Arise from orange to brown (I think it's a rust sort of background and still fits?), Like A Dragon from yellow to orange (better fit) and finally, made room for P4G at yellow! Hopefully, the gymnastics made sense. Now, let's address the game. I'm going to be the frank, hot take artist and just say it... P4G is better than P5. Before anyone hits respond though, let me explain... 1. P4 has a better cast of characters and their moments together are much more memorable. P4G's cast is just fantastic! From Yosuke always trying to look cool to Chie's in-your-face, tomboy attitude to Kanji's tough exterior and soft interior, the whole cast is great. I felt like a lot of P5's cast were very one dimensional and not very interesting imo. 2. P4G didn't overstay its welcome. All of the dungeons were relatively short, didn't require multiple trips, and didn't feel like it dragged on like P5. I can confirm this as I did a second pt in like 15 hours (mostly folding envelopes) and 107 hours total. One pt of P5 took 91 hours WITHOUT a guide and playing casually. That's just way too long for me... 3. P4G's tone is very poppish and upbeat and comical which is perfect for an RPG like this where you are making friends and relationships. I enjoyed this tone over the rebellious tone of P5. The choices for your character was also more bold and funny than in P5 which created some hilarious dialogue (draw a fortune and think impure thoughts or You're a little prick, aren't you?). This sort of more comical tone made for much more enjoyable dialogue and conversations. This isn't saying that P5 is bad. I just prefer something with more humor and pop in it where every single time I sit down and play it, it puts a smile on my face. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's my favorite plat this year. I really enjoyed it, and if you didn't get nerfed to death in cash and exp, I would've done my second pt on hard mode. I could definitely see myself coming back to this one day and play it for fun (or as a Remake or something). I definitely would put this in my S-tier of favorite plats (which would include maybe 5-10 of my 159 plats).

Another thing that I loved in P4G was the mistery of who is the killer, each story felt more connected to the others, and the reveal was amazing!!

Another thing that I loved in P4G was the mistery of who is the killer, each story felt more connected to the others, and the reveal was amazing!! Yeah, the big twist and how it pulls it all together at the end was great. And that's a good point about the mystery! All the dungeons tie together really well and are very cohesive to the mystery plot while P5 felt like each palace or dungeon was isolated from each other and didn't really connect other than the Phantom Thieves gaining fame. I watched the original P4 the animation back in like 2013 so I already knew most of the story (kind of around the time P4A became free for PS+), but 100% enjoyed actually playing it more than watching it. On a side note, I thought that Margaret's fight was super cool, and I kept getting tripped up by the fact she'd change personas. Both her fight and the one from the hollow forest (intentionally vague to avoid spoilers) were both really interesting fights.
Popular Post Kefka1986
100% with you, the first time I stepped on the hollow forest and the music started... it was soooo awesomeeee. And now that I'm here.... Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair is completed! I liked this game a lot more than the first one. If the first game was a 3D platform game based on Banjo-Kazooie, this one is a 2D game based on the Donkey Kong Country saga. There are 20 books that give access to the worlds, and the twist is that you can manipulate those books to open an alternative stage for each level. You can let the water drown the book and now the stage is full of water; you can set a fan on the book and now the stage is windy... The final level (the Impossible Lair) is available from the beginning. Each level completed grants you a bee, who acts like a shield in that final stage, so the more bees you have, the more shields you will have, and therefore the Impossible Lair will be more possible. It's a cheap game, and I had fun with it; probably there are other better options for a 2D platformer on the PS4, but give it a try if you can! So... only three games left, and 5 months to do it. I think I'm going to play some other games (specially Baldur's gate 3 in a few days), and I'll come back with Okami or FF Type 0 after August. Or maybe I can find time to play everything I want, we'll see!! Edited July 22, 2023 by Kefka1986

Popular Post woggly4
Fourth game done: inked for deep purple! What a game! Absolutely beautiful puzzle game with a rather sad backstory but deep message at the end. This puzzler has a very unique art style because everything is painted and you need to solve puzzles by "re-painting" certain objects, in fact it's more "replacing objects" but for the sake of the story let's call it re-painting. It does not have very complex gameplay and is rather short but absolutely beautiful to play! The world is nicely drawn and the soundtrack is also gorgeous. You will need to play it a second time for one trophy so I highly recommend to play this blind on your first playthrough and grab every collectible you see and wrap things up on the second playthrough. Chapter select is available if you plan on not using a guide and getting all collectibles by yourself. But please, do yourself a favor and play this cute little game without a guide on your first run. If you like lightweight puzzle games with relaxing music, this should be on your list.

Popular Post DrBloodmoney
Another entry for my Second card, courtesy of Viewfinder! An awesome first-person Puzzle game! Easily the most original and well executed concept for a FPP games I've played since Superliminal - the thing works so well, that it feels like magic, and virtually every possible thing you decide to try, the game has accounted for, and lets you do! A great trophy list too - full of smart, silly little incidental things to do, and even uses the trophies themselves as clues to some of the puzzle solutions - all of which are super smart, varied, interesting and fun to play. Really can't say enough good things about this one! Since it's a dark shade of Green, I'm swapping A Monster's Expedition Through Puzzling Exhibitions into the "Light Green" slot, and using Viewfinder in it's old "green" spot! Popular Post DizzyDavidson
Hiya! I guess it's time for me to post again. Black: Mafia II. Another great entry in the series, tho I liked the remake of the first one better in most areas but I loved the music in this one. The game is set in the era when rock n' roll was born and as a headbanger I really dig it. The cops in this are bit more annoying, especially in the DLCs. Yup, I went for the 100%. The DLCs weren't great, one of them includes a big and dumb grind. Anyway, I'm ready to play Mafia III soon. White: Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout. I don't think I have to introduce Fall Guys to anyone. I've played the game on and off with my siblings on an alt acc so I was somewhat seasoned but never really took it that seriously until recently when the infamous Infallible trophy became easy as pie then I added it to my main acc. Yeah I'm that guy. I will probably still play it from time to time when my siblings want to play it with me. Pease out!
Popular Post HailHale81
I have been slacking as this is my first post. Was going to do it every 4 games but got busy. I really need to look through everyone's games again to see what I own that I can play for Green.

Stray can only work for Black, I'm afraid, as it's a black and white only image, and the background is black.... ...however, luckily, Call of Duty Ghosts can only work for White, since there's actually no black at all on the image - that background is transparent! ? As such, I've kept you at 12 complete entries - just swap those two over next time you update!
Popular Post ShinigamiSensei-
Update! First card finally completed!!! AFTERPARTY (Purple): This is a well-known game for this event since it fills perfectly the spot for purple and is a pretty good and short game with an easy platinum. Loved the story and the relationship between the main protagonists. 10/10 SOUL HACKERS 2 (Deep Purple): I am a Megaten fan so i was so hyped to play this one. This game is the perfect mix between Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Persona, so if you like those games go for this one too. The only thing i didn't like was the Soul Matrix, this dungeon is a chore. So... i'm gonna start my second card with 4 games that i already complete this year (i don't really know if i'm going to complete this one before the deadline but i'll try) Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy (Yellow) Stray (Orange) Horizon Forbidden West (Light Blue) Hollow Knight (Grey) @DrBloodmoney can i use this one to fill the red spot? or maybe yellow so i can change Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon to white and...how about this one? ...could this work for Maroon?

I'd say Dragon Quest maybe for red, though blue seems more the obvious choice... and I could see Inside as Red before Maroon, though Grey seems more the obvious pick...

Popular Post Yen-Pop
Man oh man what a couple weeks will do for ya'! For an update I'm adding: -Sam & Max Save the World for Light Green -Sam & Max: Beyond Space & Time for Red It's hard to think of these two as two different games instead of one long game, but what an absolute delight these both were. Honestly I would love to see more modern games of this ilk (I know these are Telltale remakes but I'd be shocked as hell if they went back to this formula). But I'm also a huge sucker for point & clicks. I can only hope that with this remaster and the remaster of the Humongous Collection that we might see more games like this in the near future. -Stray for Orange I mean for goodness sake, what can I say about this absolute classic that hasn't already been said. The fact that this got taken from the Essential Collection can only hopefully mean that BlueTweleve gets more money to make more incredible games. I mean, I couldn't even play the game at my house the cat physics were so good - my own cat kept trying to jump in my TV to save the little baby trapped in the post apocalyptic undercity. -The Gardens Between for Green I mean c'mon an emotional tale that's bolstered by a smart and interesting puzzle system? Sign me the fuck up friends. This is my jam - to the point I've been eyeing this game for an age and finally found the time to download and play it. And what a joy to go back through again for all the little things you'll miss trophy wise-wise; it's absolutely one of those games I'd recommend going through blind once first before trophy hunting. I'm a horrible sucker for point and clicks and puzzle games, so I've been in hog heaven obviously. I'm only a couple colors from finishing my first board and hopefully I should be staring on my next one! Spoiler White: Chicory: A Colorful Tale Yellow: Yaga: Roots of Evil Tan: Twelve Minutes Orange: Stray Red: Sam & Max: Beyond Space & Time Pink: Paper Beasts Maroon: LEGO Movie: The Videogame Purple: Afterparty Deep Purple: Steven Universe: Unleash the Light, Trophy Updates DLC 3 Blue: Endling Light Blue: Horizon: Forbidden West Green: The Garden Beyond Light Green: Sam & Max Save the World Brown: Assassin's Creed Valhalla Grey: Chicken Police Black: Going Under Edited July 25, 2023 by Yen-Pop

Mostly fine - I'd swap over Sonic Frontiers and Lake, as Sonic has a lot of Blue, but Lake seems much more green to me... ...and I think it would work better with Cook Serve Delicious 2 swapped with Yakuza: Like a Dragon, as Like a Dragon is closer to Yellow, I think. The only one that definitely doesn't work is God of War: Ragnarok, as there is no Black in that one (the background is transparent) - I think it would be best to stick Galaga from Red into Black, as there is much more Black on that one than Red, save God of War: Ragnarok for a blue or Grey on a second card, and try to find a new Red one ? I'll stick you in for 15/16 for the moment, based on that!
