Popular Post Vanqishd
Time for an update now that we're making progress: Sifu (PS5) - 7% Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) - 16% Outriders (PS4) - 24% > 82% Hogwarts Legacy (PS5) - 8% -> Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS5) - 68% (Swap 1/3) The Last of Us Part II (PS4) - 11% Anthem (PS4) - 40% Outriders has been vanquished. Not a great game, to be honest, but still decent. The story was okayish, the abilities were fun, but enemy variety was poor and the combat encounters were more and more of the same. By the end of it, it got way too repetitive. Still, it was in the backlog and I'm glad to be done with it. Time to move on to Sackboy and try wrap it up this week, while figuring out what else I'll play out of the list. Good luck to you all as well!

Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Here's an update from me. No completions unfortunately, mainly because I went on vacation to Lithuania for a week. I will switch Block a Pix Deluxe for Aerial Knight's Never Yield. There's no way I can complete Block a Pix this challenge and I will keep it for another challenge. I saw Aerial Knight's being recommended as a fun platinum, but I didn't really enjoy it. I thought it was pretty boring actually. It is an easy platinum, and I only have one dlc trophy left for 100%. I finished the story for A Plague Tale: Requiem. I enjoyed it, but didn't love it. I thought it took too much time and it's a very dramatic story. I think the first one was better. I don't have a lot to say about Hogwarts Legacy. Not sure if I'll be able to finish it this challenge. If not I will keep it for the summer challenge. 1. The Artful Escape 100% 2. God of War Ragnarök - 100% 3. Toem - 100% 4. PowerWash Simulator - 100% 5. Dead Cells - 49% 6. Block-a-Pix Deluxe • EU - 50% Aerial Knight's Never Yield - 0% --> 98% 7. Hogwarts Legacy - 21% --> 31% 8. A Plague Tale: Requiem - 18% --> 90% 9. Popular Post Charizarzar
Update #4 Time for a final update - I know Spring isn't over just yet but I'm unlikely to finish anything else. Dredge - 0% > 100% Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments - 0% > 100% The Complex - 0% > 68% > 100% A Plague Tale: Innocence - 0% > 100% Hitchhiker - 0% > 100% The Town of Light - 0% > 100% Road 96: Mile 0 - 0% > 100% ---------------------------------------------------------- Swaps Used (2/4) Mafia II was swapped with Sherlock in my last update because I love what I've played of the Mafia series (started with 3, then 1) and didn't want to rush through 2. It's been a while since I've played a detective game so I really enjoyed Sherlock, apart from an annoying arm wrestling minigame that didn't work properly, but probably did end up giving me arm muscles from all the retries. Death Stranding was swapped for Dredge. I really wanted to finish this one before the end of the event and am on the final leg, but unfortunately it's turning out to be a very long leg. I started this event at 24% and currently am at 81% after over 100 hours of playtime, so I'm happy with my progress either way! The only thing I have left to do is 5-star all of my relationships with the people I have to deliver to and grind out various delivery types. I've just finished building up a zipline network in the Eastern area (which took the better part of a day) which helps me with S-Ranking the timed ones, and then need to do the same in the Western region, which unfortunately is much bigger and I expect will be more complicated to build on since you have a limited number of ziplines to work with. Not sure how much longer this game will take me, but hopefully not too long if I just keep at it. On a more positive note, Dredge was excellent! Decided to buy it after hearing a lot of buzz, despite thinking a horror fishing game wasn't really my sort of thing, but I had a lot of fun. Wishing everyone good luck with their final games for this challenge! Don't think I'll sign up for the Summer challenge as I'm going away again soon and aren't sure how much time I'll have, but I'll definitely be there for future events. Goodbye from Sam and BB!

MidnightDragon
I won’t be doing my 100th plat as part of the spring challenge. The post office screwed up AGAIN. Another copy has been sent and not by the stupid post office. Hopefully I’ll have it sometime this weekend, but it’s a holiday weekend, so it may be iffy. I could change the game, but not going to for now. I might if it takes much longer. Edited May 27, 2023 by MidnightDragon
Popular Post Fanatixa1
Hi everyone, Hope you're having a great weekend I'm making 2 last swaps, so that I can complete the challenge in the last few days. I will swap out Dead Cells and Hogwarts Legacy. Both these games, I will move to the summer challenge. I will swap them for Cat Quest II and Narita Boy. I've been wanting to play Cat Quest II for a while, since I really liked the first one. I did not enjoy Narita Boy when I played it 6 months ago, but I want to get it out of my backlog. I restarted it and will use a guide to hopefully complete it quickly. Good luck everyone for the last days of the challenge! 1. The Artful Escape 100% 2. God of War Ragnarök - 100% 3. Toem - 100% 4. PowerWash Simulator - 100% 5. Bugsnax - 100% 6. A Plague Tale: Requiem - 90% --> 100% 7. Aerial Knight's Never Yield - 98% 8. Dead Cells - 49% Cat Quest II - 0% --> 21% 9. Popular Post Vanqishd
We've done it. Second game down: Sifu (PS5) - 7% Horizon Forbidden West (PS5) - 16% > 21% Outriders (PS4) - 82% Hogwarts Legacy (PS5) - 8% -> Sackboy: A Big Adventure (PS5) - 68% > 100% (Swap 1/3) The Last of Us Part II (PS4) - 11% -> God of War (PSVita) - 11% (Swap 2/3) Anthem (PS4) - 40% Sackboy is finally done! I don't know whether it was harder to finish the last time trial or do the Wonderplane levels on co-op with my GF, but it's done. I've also convinced her to keep playing some co-op games and we'll go for the Cat Quest games soon enough. Also made some tiny progress in HFW, so this list is looking a lot better. We'll see how far I can go with the time that remains, but hey, at least it's looking a lot better than two weeks ago! Good luck y'all on this last sprint as well. EDIT: Will be using a second swap for God of War PSVita, see how that goes. Edited May 27, 2023 by Vanqishd

I messed up a collectible in chapter 8 which makes me mad because I have actually platinumed this game three times on other accounts and this is the first time I've ever messed that up, and I was even trying to pay attention to the collectibles. I had my guide up and everything. Smdh. I am not sure if the Demon Lords DLC is still available where I could collect what I missed. If it's not, I will have to do a NG+. Which is fine I suppose because I love the game but I was hoping I could just play through once, get the platinum again, and then jump straight into Hacker's Memory. Oh well, that's what I get for my bad habit of only utilizing one save slot. Lesson learned? Probably not. Since last update and with a couple of days to go I’ve finished Kona just before it left PS plus. I got the impression it was more of a twin peaks or deadly premonition style mystery but the game it really reminded me of was firewatch, just with more snow. I’m not averse to a good walking sim, but for some reason it didn’t grab me like I thought it would. At least it was a fairly short completion though. I’ve also managed one of my proudest platinums and that is Kingdom Come. DLC is absolutely killing me in this challenge though and I’m certain I do not have time to take on a hardcore mode playthrough so will have to leave that one as is. As I’m off for the next week I’m hoping to get a bit closer to the finish in Immortals and Wasteland 3. While it might not look like it I’m actually in the cleanup phase with both of them. Most of the story is done and I’m doing mostly optional things before the point of no return. Doubt I’ll finish either in the time left but will give it a good go.

Popular Post grumpaluffagus_1
Update 5 (And likely the final one) The Witcher 3 (12%) Stray (100%) Spyro the Dragon (100%) Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (15-->100%) Mass Effect (100%) Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga (40-->100%) Managed to complete 5/6 games with only a few days left to go.Guardians of the Galaxy was good fun, I just wish I had followed a collectible guide in my first playthrough since replaying only select chapters was not much fun. And then there was the combat trophy that required me to remap buttons to pull off with any consistency, making me wish that they had put a little more work into combat. Or just added the option to customize controls in game. I don't think there is any way I could complete the Witcher 3 in the remaining time and will just be moving it to the summer challenge. Good luck to everyone trying to finish their list in the next few days!
Popular Post StilRh
Hey loves, This week I've not played much due to my shoulder killing me. Not being able to play games and being in pain has bummed me out a bit so my motivation has flagged a bit as well. Having said that I do want to do a final push for platinums before the challenge ends. I've swapped Elden Ring for Deliver Us the Moon and hoping to cruise through it for an easy (but not too cheap) 100%. So far I like the premise (I love sci-fi especially 'low/hard' sci-fi) and some of the set peices are incredible... But I am not finding it fun like I hoped (this may be the pain talking). I've made a few gains in Humanity without any trophies to show for it. The online stuff has been very amusing and distracted me from the main game. I didn't really want to play anything off list this week but one day working with a stream going (the days you can work from home with a chill vidja stream is awesome) and saw Miasma Chronicles. I was aware of this before it's release, but from the marketing I didn't think I'd like it and was going to skip it and keep my money and gaming time in reserve for the flurry of June releases. What I saw on stream made me re-evaluate that however and I'm really enjoying it so far - I plan to carry this into the next challenge. Before the challenge ends I would like to do an all nighter or two and knock out Deliver us and Humanity, my shoulder allowing. Good luck everyone. It's been really nice to read about your progress. Popular Post Heather342
Final update Hey everyone, time for my final update of the challenge. It's been an extremely productive week for me ? First things first though, it turns out that I'm a bit of a dumb dumb ?. I managed to figure out the cause of my VR eye strain was because.....the headset settings were too bright ??♀️. Turned the brightness right down and all my issues were resolved! ? So with that, I was able to crack on with the story missions in Horizon Call of the Mountain during the week. Finished the main trophies by Saturday night, went on a clean up collectables run yesterday and this morning, and then this afternoon was all about the challenge hub. My god, between the assault course and the archery challenge I'm absolutely knackered now! My Fitbit went nuts and apparently I smashed my step goal today even though I barely left the living room! ? As soon as that was done I went straight to SMT 3, quickly played through my last 2 save files, got the plat and hit my milestone of 5000 trophies! ?. And that's all my games this challenge complete. Congrats to everyone who hit their goals, and good luck to everyone who is still working on it! ? I won't be taking part in the summer challenge, but I'll be cheering from the sidelines. I had set myself a profile goal to have 100% completion by plat 100. I have 4 games left, and between Red Dead 2 and Persona 4 Arena I think it's gonna take me a while. I might be back in time for fall, we'll see what the progress looks like in 3 months time. Completed games: - Spiderman Remastered - Legend of Dragoon - Shadow of the Colossus - Horizon Call of the Mountain - Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne Swaps used (1/4) Red Dead Redemption 2 -> Shadow of the Colossus Edited May 30, 2023 by Heather342

Popular Post rjkclarke
Final Update Observation (PS4) 0% > 100% Type:Rider (PS4) 0% > 100% Ape Academy 2 (PS4) 0% > 100% Yooka-Laylee (PS4) 0% >100% Firewatch (PS4) 0% Silence (PS4) 0%> 100% Kona (PS4) 0% > 100% Games Completed 6/7 Swaps Used 4/4 I guess I'd better shoot one more update before the challenge ends tomorrow! I'm going to call 6 out of 7 pretty good considering I'm not getting too much time for gaming by myself these days... Which I must add, is very much not something I'm not complaining about - as co-op gaming has been even more fun, so I'm looking forward to doing more of that in the future with the always awesome @Redblaziken8 - my co-op partner in both gaming and life ..... And..... the entire thread collectively reaches for their sick bags.... ? My final completion for the event ended up being Ape Academy 2.... and you know what? I was honestly really surprised by how much fun I actually had with the game, I wasn't quite sure what to expect from it, and I'm still not even quite sure what I got, but I definitely enjoyed it. I knew I just wanted something fairly light and simple to play for a little bit and this really does hit that spot... I can definitely see why it was released on the PSP too, as the game by its very nature lends itself really well to being able to just pick it up and put it down at any moment without too much interruption. As you'd expect from the Ape Escape franchise it is absolutely brimming with quirky and unusual humour, that has some borrowed story beats and enemies from Ape Escape 2, a game I've not played for quite a while.... and probably ought to change that.... So yeah that's me done for this challenge I think..... I could of course be a massive cockwomble and an unattentive boyfriend and just play Firewatch whilst Red is sat next to me.... but something tells me she wouldn't really like that, and who could blame her..... So instead I think we'll be firing up some Lego Indiana Jones 2 for some good old fashioned couch co-op again A massive congratulations to all of you who finished your lists.... and everyone who didn't, because let's be real, it's just nice to be cutting a bit of a path through the jungle-like backlogs that we all seem to have! I'll see you all in the next one!

It's been really nice to get into the Borderlands series finally and we're going to be playing the rest of the Borderlands games along with the Tiny Tina Wonderlands game in future. The DLC for this game was also really good, my favourite being the Tiny Tina DLC, which was awesome. Having an adventure set in a D&D world with Tiny Tina as the DM was a lot of fun, and really had a lot of amusing moments. The worst one was the Lilith DLC, just seemed a way to get people to play Borderlands 3 rather than providing some worthwhile content to the rest of Borderlands 2. The rest of the DLC more than makes up for it though, and I couldn't recommend this one enough if you haven't played it and you're looking for something you can play either online or offline co-op, or on your own if looter shooters are something you enjoy a lot! Hue > 100% ☑️ I loved this puzzle game, it's really inventive with how it does its puzzles. The addition of each colour brings new additional puzzles that increase the difficulty slightly, but it never feels too much. Then the last area has the hardest puzzles of the whole game as expected. I loved the soundtrack in this game as well, and it's a really pretty game. I'd recommend it easily if puzzle games are your thing, it's available on PS Extra/Premium and it's a short game to complete. The clean up was a little bit annoying, so I'd recommend going out of your way to get as many of the collectibles as possible on your first playthrough. It does have fast travel to certain areas but you need to redo puzzles you've already done before to get to the collectible you need, and sometimes it can take like 20 mins or more just to get to the collectible you need. Pretty happy with my progress on the challenge, and didn't expect to get 6/7 done really - certainly didn't expect Borderlands 2 to get done! But after a bad back for a week and having to take some time off, managed to finish the rest of the game with Rob. Because I didn't get to Dr Dekker, I'm going to start that one in the Summer Challenge instead, since I'm playing some co-op with Rob at his place for a while. Nice job on all the progress everyone, see you in the Summer Challenge! Edited May 30, 2023 by Redblaziken8
Popular Post beerwego
Final Update Pushed through to finish Stray which definitely improved once I got into it although the Territory trophy didn't want to unlock and made it frustrating. Ghost of Tsishima has only 2 trophies left , the new game completion I'm half way through and Legends raid which I've done the 1st one .
