It's currently on sale so I figured why not. I was expecting the trophies to be more painful from what I seen online. For example the Sneaky Notai trophy: you cannot reload checkpoint if you get caught by a guard (it's a pure stealth section that lasts about 20-30 mins). I also tested: you cannot quit to main menu. The game remembers you messed up. All you can do is restart the whole chapter from the main menu (chapter select becomes available after you finish the game). There was also one sledding section that was quite aggravating and took several tries; you cannot get hit in any sledding section for a trophy and sometimes you would just go out of control for no reason and have to restart. For those at least you can restart from the last checkpoint. Overall though it's a fantastic game. I'm glad I picked it up on a whim. I also don't know anything about League of Legends but I still very much enjoyed it. I'm sure there's a bunch of references that went over my head but I don't think it really matters much. Popular Post ProfSeajay7
(6) Secret of Mana (1%) (7) Trials of Mana (0%) (8) Legend of Mana (0%) (9) Dragon Quest Builders 2 (11% => 15%) (10) Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS5) (0%) So I will probably not update much as my main focus is on Dragon Quest Builders 2 as I want it to be my hundredth platinum. Once I get close, I'll probably start plugging in Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. As I said, the Mana games aren't getting touched until April as they are part of the RPG Mania event. Anyways, just entered Island 2, Khrumbul-Dun. I got the Beloved Builder trophy by accident as I made a restaurant and the residents were just going over the moon for it and I had to get their gratitude so I got 3000 points easily. Popular Post viech54
Update #02 Final Fantasy IX Made a bit more progress in the story and also got the most time consuming trophy out of the way: Bloodlust, i. e. defeat 10,000 enemies. This is normally one of the last trophies before the platinum, given that you can do everything in the game, including leveling a character to level 99 (another trophy), and not even be close to 10k kills. But there's a benefit to doing it early. Namely, there is one section in the game where the game spawns an infinite number of enemies that keep running towards the player. With the help of a turbo controller (or PS remote play) and the ingame boosts (max damage, free heals at the start of every battle, auto battle), it can be fully automated. But it's scary having to keep the console running for more than 24 hours with no way of saving the game. If anything goes wrong (power outage, game crash, console freeze, ...), all progress is lost. It worked out for me on first try and I didn't have to sit through manually killing helpless enemies near the end, so it's all good. Also made some progress on It's All in the Cards III, winning 100 Tetra Master matches against unique opponents. I'm at 35 wins right now. While there are still enough NPCs right at the end of the game, I don't want to do it all in one go, so I spend some time playing Tetra Master every now and then to space it out a little. Now that Bloodlust is out of the way, the rest should be much faster. _____________ Anyway, take care, good luck with your lists! This means that I am ready to start AC Brotherhood asap, maybe even right after writing this. In challenge progress, I progressed a bit further in the main campaign for Powerwash Simulator and started the Spongebob DLC. Additionally, I now have two of the five gold medals needed for a trophy and knocking out the remaining three will be my focus for the week. Disney Speedstorm continues to be my favorite chill game and I made good overall progress. I got the trophies for being a very aggressive driver and winning with a level 25 racer. I should be good to finish this so long as I get the maximum possible amount of medals this season, since certain ones will always be locked behind having specific racers at specific levels, and then clean up once the new season starts next month.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness 6% I continued playing Shantae Half Genie Hero UE, got the 3 miscelaneous trophies that are tied to the costume pack DLC and finished the officer costume playthroughs to get all 4 win screens in that mode, that I need as part of another trophy. They changed the gameplay in that mode, so that it plays like a Mighty Switch Force game (another series from Wayforward). It wasn`t as hard as the Friends to the End DLC or the no upgrade Pirate Queen`s Quest DLC but I had to to a second playthrough since it was not possible (for me) to get the any % speedrun and the 100% speedrun in the same playthrough. I have only the Ninja and the Bikinini playthroughs to do before I get the platinum. I also continued playing Shantae and finished the first two dungeons. The game hasn`t aged particular well, but it is fascinating to see, how much of the gameplay and characters they already introduced in this first game in the series. And I played One Piece Unlimited World Red and got a trophy for finishing episode 3 of the story mode. Fun game so far but the artstyle takes a bit to get used to (not the One Piece artstyle, that is as good as ever, but the graphic engine they used for this game). Here`s a comparsion of Unlimited World Red (left) and Pirate Warriors 3 (right) to show what I mean. The Unlimited World Red characters simply look a bit strange in my opinion.

Popular Post Buff_Cupcake
Update 3: Hey all, not a huge amount to report for this one. I made a small jump in progress for both FF7 Rebirth and Iceborne. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth It was a small jump in trophy progress, but it accounted for about 30 hours of gametime 💀. If you intend to play this game from a completionist or platinum standpoint, know that you are in for an absolutely massive game. I'm trying to 100% each zone as I go, making sure I have as much as possible done to minimize backtracking and the breadth of available content is significant. It's a weird contradiction because the amount of content is a big plus but it can also be a negative at times. There are just so, so many mini-games dotted throughout this game. After getting through the majority of the zones now I can't help but feel like they could have trimmed out 50% of the mini-game content and it wouldn't have reduced the overall experience. It feels pretty relentless on that front at times. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne The grind continues! I nabbed a single trophy for capturing 50 monsters in Master Rank hunts. But the real progress was in the gold crown collection - managing to grab a decent amount of gold crowns towards the trophies. Next up: Dragon's Dogma 2 is a few days away. So my aim for the rest of the week is to keep pushing to the end of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth as much as possible with a few Monster Hunter hunts in between. Then this weekend i'll be playing DD2 in earnest. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - 41% > 47% > 51% Pacific Drive - 0% Dragon's Dogma 2 - 0% Monster Hunter World: Iceborne - 37% > 38% > 40% Dying Light 2 - 0% Dead Rising - 0%

Hopefully I will have that wrapped up this week and can get back to playing my Spring games. I did get the platinum in Overcooked 2 and am now working through the dlc trophies as time allows. I haven't given Tunic the time it deserves yet really as I have only really been jumping in for a bit here and there as a break from bigger grindy games. It's just a really enjoyable trophy hunting experience and it's the best of the PS3 Harry Potter games that have trophies for sure. The quidditch 5*s are satisfying, potion making is fun and the duelling is OK! With the duelling it's just spam Expelliarmus and then Stupify multiple times to get the 5*s really easily. This game had some bits of humour thrown in there not in the films as well which I liked a lot. I'd say it's the perfect length too. If you fancy another HP game give it a go. Or you could play Hogwarts Legacy maybe... which I still haven't but will do this year I think. Haven > 100% Had a lot of fun with Haven as well. The game just grew on me the more I played it. Character interactions are really authentic, the couple are really likeable and the gameplay loop is just pretty relaxing and definitely a perfect cosy game to just wind down with. Would recommend it and I'm glad I played it before it left the service. The good ending is nice, but damn that bad ending is super depressing, was kinda gutted it was the one that popped the platinum for me 😂. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker > 11% Started this one at the weekend with Rob and I'm really enjoying it so far. The artwork from Yoji Shinkawa in this game is so well done. It's done in a comic book format instead of a regular cutscene, so it's nice to see more of his artwork since there was less of it in 2 and 3. MGS1 just has great artwork with those codec calls, absolutely love those. Looking forward to playing some more of this with @rjkclarke, it's a long platinum so it'll be a while before I finish it, but I doubt it's gunna feel long with how fun it is. Grand Theft Auto V > 61% More exciting developments with me collecting all of the spaceship parts and delivering a bounty victim alive. Wooooo. This 100% is tedious 😅. Call of Duty: Black Ops II > 46% Me and the COD zombies group got the EE on Buried done last night, would have done it last week if not for my internet cutting out at the end of it! Had a lot of fun with this map, it's really well designed. Also popped the last DLC trophy for pack a punching a weapon in round 1 which wasn't too bad, so that's the 3rd DLC done for BO2 and just 1 more to go! I should get back to the campaign of this one soon, I've just been enjoying playing new games instead of mostly just backlog like I did last year. Need to decide what I'm going to play next, but I'm probably going to head back to MGS3 so I can leave an easy trophy left to pop the 125 milestone, maybe get to BioShock and Prince of Persia I reckon? ProfSeajay7
(6) Secret of Mana (1%) (7) Trials of Mana (0%) (8) Legend of Mana (0%) (9) Dragon Quest Builders 2 (35% => 61%) (10) Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS5) (0%) Welp, I just burned the midnight oil because I wanted to get through Island 3(no spoilers, so I will just call it the Cloud Strife Island for various reasons ), and running through Cloud Strife until 11 AM is a big mistake - this chapter is the longest and most dangerous so far, I nearly died several times because the enemies are brutally hard and you go through the gauntlet of boss fights at the end. I also starved the first time because I didn't do the smart thing and harvest the potatoes in the castle before I got the quest too, and baked potatoes only restore 20% of your hunger. Yes, this game has a hunger meter and if you hit 0%, you only get to swipe your sword once before the Builder puts a finger down his throat to try to vomit up his last lunch so he can eat it again, sort of like how mother birds chew food and spit it into their chicks' mouths to feed them. 🤪 This is VERY bad as you get attacked by enemy waves every ten seconds in Cloud Strifle Island until you beat the final boss and the first waves hit like TRUCKS, even with the best in slot you came in with from Beefcake Miner City, which was the Dragonblade and Dragon Mail. You need to attack rapidly and if you are starving, you do not attack at all, meaning the skeleton soldiers can chop off your head and you die and have to restart. I don't like dying, I died in Beefcake Mines because I wasn't watching my health and got gang-banged by something I don't remember. Well, just got back to the Isle of Awakening and gonna diss off the six royal residents who came back with me as well as Lulu, she can wait for frickin' ever to get her fairy-tale palace, I need to get some sleep before I drop dead of exhaustion. I've been janked on Zero Sugar Pepsi just to fight the giant cyclops dude and I'm coming up to the final chapter of the game. Last trophy I got was clearing 30 tablet targets, even though there are twice that many - I don't think I'll be able to get 200 items sold on my island before the platinum pops because item selling on this game is jank A.F. I'll get some egg in my gullet and then go to sleep to make up for lost time, meaning only one walk today. *sigh* I blame the f''king Harlot guy who was playing Psycho Mantis to Malroth for costing me my sleep. They never fixed that annoying 30 second text lag on boxless text. Edited March 20 by ProfSeajay7

Popular Post Heather342
Update #3 Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well 😊. Another week of steady progress. I've finished up my first run through of world 5 on Rayman Origins, and managed to pick up more trophies. Some of the levels and platforming sections can be a bit difficult, especially the Tricky Treasure levels where you have to chase a chest through a collapsing level. Some of these are pretty frustrating, doesn't bode well for the speed runs that I'll need to come back to 😅 I also made a start on Strayed Lights. This was an indie game that caught my eye a little while ago. It's got a really nice art style and atmospheric story telling, and an interesting parry mechanic, where to successfully parry an enemy attack you need to match the colour of the enemy (you are a fire sprite creature and can switch between red or blue flame). Parrying builds up your energy meter while depleting the enemy energy meter, once your bar is full and the enemy is empty you emit a blast to cure the corruption. I'm about 2/3rds through on my first playthrough, but the game is pretty short so not too worried if I missed some collectables (which I think I have 😅). Overall it's a nice chill game, a few framerate dips in places but nothing game breaking. Should be able to finish this one before the end of the month. That's all from me, keep up the great work everyone! 😁 Trophy progress: - Rayman Origins -> 20-38% - Strayed Lights -> 0-37% Pending games: - Solar Ash 0% - Tunic 0% - Sea of Stars 0% - Eternights 0%
