Isn't it their policy though? The dev teams can find ways round it but it is Sony's policy. That's why MW3 didn't get a platinum. It isn't a policy limitation as such, it seems to be a technical limitation from where Sony effectively implemented a new trophy system revision for the PS5 and - for whatever reason - they didn't implement the ability to attach multiple trophy lists to a single game. Why Sony haven't gone and corrected this limitation in the almost 4 years this system has been available now is anyone's guess. I think it is 100% on Sony when you consider that even PS3 remasters of PS2 games had the same single-launcher set-up in many cases (Hitman, Splinter Cell, Sly...) and still had platinums for every game. Meanwhile PS5 we've seen a similarly awful setup with a Sony release (Legacy of Thieves). I would only accept that it is Aspyr's decision if the PS4 stacks had no platinum as well. People were in an uproar because all 3 x versions, PS3, PS4, VITA had no platinum's. It was a 100% completion only. But that didn't stop me playing through them all, and thoroughly enjoying them. Good series, fun, and worth it. With TR 1-3 remastered, pretend it's the PS1 era and you have no trophies to earn. Oh well, I'll probably end up playing 1 version now and then the other version a few years down the road. The sheer number of trophies it has does make up for it though.
