Popular Post Zach
#80 Spec Ops: The Line Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 7/10 Time: 15-16hrs Holy shit. This game is so underrated. I love the theme of this game.. Anti-war shooter game (but also about war!). Without going into too much detail, your character goes slowly insane and you must make choices throughout the game. The ending is so crazy. It's a really good game. Be prepared for a hard time with the hardest difficulty, FUBAR, though. It's not a walk in the park like some of the call of duty games. You will be tested, but it feels oh so good finishing it. Have fun.
Popular Post ShonenCat
Platinum #25 - Gal*Gun 2 Difficulty Rating 2/10 Enjoyment Rating 9/10 Rare - 15.09% First Achievers - #2 (NA) Fastest Achievers - #2 (NA) Back when I played Gal*Gun Double Peace, I said it could potentially be the greatest game ever conceived. But I held back on confirming that mainly because Gal*Gun 2 wasn't released yet. Now that I've played both, is Gal*Gun 2 better than it's predecessor? Hmm, I would say yes and no. It's just as enjoyable, however it feels like it takes a few steps back and some forward too. For those looking for an easy Platinum, this one is much easier and less time consuming than Double Peace. But is it objectively the better game? Gal*Gun is a rail shooter with a very arcade like style of gameplay mixed with some visual novel aspects. Here in the sequel, the scoring system has changed dramatically. Points are earned by how many mini Kurona demons you shoot and vacuum up. No longer are you judged on time, damage taken and accuracy. This takes away a lot in how a rail shooter functions. Even the visual novel aspects feel watered down, for choosing what you say to other characters doesn't change the outcome in the story nor does it affect how a character feels about you. In Gal*Gun 2 you play as some no name protagonist which may or may not be portrayed as yourself (assuming you're male). In Double Peace, we had Houdai and he usually had dialogue that would help push the story and add humor depending on the situation. There isn't much of that here so I don't feel very involved if this is me taking action, nor are we on a journey with an already established main character. Following routes is much easier though, it's all in the missions you complete rather than the dialogue choices you make. It's hard to say for sure but I feel like Inti Creates wanted to make this a VR game. The way you look around, the goggles that the no-name protagonist wears, the clicking from place to place, the up close moments.. there are many design choices here that show it may of been once in development with VR in mind. I know what you are thinking right now. But ShonenCat, what about the waifus and fanservice? No worries, for Gal*Gun 2 holds a lot more lewd and pantsu viewing fun than Double Peace. As for the waifus, there is only one that most gamers will relate to in this game. We do get to see Maya and Shinobu in some side missions again and that's pretty nice. Both sisters get their butts stuck in windows like Shinobu did in Double Peace. Unfortunately we don't get to play a drum solo on her glorious bottom this time around ? In fact, there is very little mini game interaction at all. The touch pad levels are gone and most people weren't very fond of them but I always thought they added to the fun I'll say now, the three girls you can get endings for.. Chiru is the absolute best girl! She's a shut in gamer with loads of personality and even refers to you as Nii-sama, so I actually feel like I have an identity when going through her story routes. Chiru has the best conversations, set pieces and she even upgrades your gear! Risu the angel is pretty plain and straight forward, not too shabby. But Nanako on the other hand is soooo boring, her character and story practically put me to sleep. Chiru has set pieces that are 200% better than anything Nanako has to offer. I want to give so many examples but I don't dare spoil the game here for others that wish to experience it. You will all agree that Chiru is the best girl once you've experienced Gal*Gun 2 for yourselves. Inti Creates deserves lots of money for making us this unique adventure and PQUBE deserves lots of praise for localizing it for us. If you agree that social justice and political correctness needs to go away and stay the heck out of our video games, you owe it to yourself to pick up this game today! It's fun, raunchy and filled with many heartwarming feel good moments. I highly recommend it from one otaku to another! Popular Post jacks
Platinum #100 MLB The Show 18 G.O.A.T Earn all of The Show 18 Trophies. Enjoyment: love the game itself (9/10), the trophy list is somewhat irritating (6/10) Difficulty: 1.5/10 Really not a whole lot to say about platinum #100. It's been a long road to finally getting a MLB The Show platinum, as they have always had one or two trophies that were just more trouble than they were worth, or they had entire lists that were so hard that the developer gave away free DLC to all those who dared try for the much sought after platinum trophy (and even went on mass banning sprees for those who tried to cheat the system in their online modes by boosting). There's rarely been a real in between with this franchise, but as much as baseball means to me in my life, I've always wanted to put forth the effort for a Show platinum, but always came up a couple of trophies short. This year's is probably the easiest to date, with no online trophies, no trophies even tied to their online card based game, and some situational trophies that are easily left up to natural play or just simply putting yourself in the right spot to get them, and that was that. It's a trophy list for even non-baseball fans, as there really isn't much to it outside of maybe knowing a little how the game works, but it's really just very easy. While disappointed I couldn't make Persona 5 or Witcher 3 (which I'm currently working on) my 100th platinum milestone, I do like the funny trophy name, trophy image, and it'll go nicely with all my other trophies from this series, even if it isn't ultra rare like the rest of them and also stands as my only platinum for The Show to date in the entire span that I've played these games since PS3. It might not look too impressive to anyone just looking over this and saying "yawn, easy sports game platinum, next", but to me it largely symbolizes an almost decade long journey that has finally reached a not-so-climatic-but-still-fitting end. Platinum #101 Job Simulator Platinum Proprietor Earn every trophy in Job Simulator Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Difficulty: 1/10 So, I was having trouble adjusting to VR at first. I bought the Skyrim bundle on a whim, thinking "pffft at these people with their motion sickness, let me show them how real men play in VR", and proceeded to play the opening dragon encounter shortly after you create your character... to put a long story short, that ended with the most powerful sense of dry heaving that the history of mankind has ever seen, as I sat anticipating that my internal organs were going to come flying out of my mouth at any given moment given how dizzying the experience was. Yeah, it wasn't pretty, and i was out for the count for a good 30 minutes while I tried to suppress my wonderful new found sense of motion induced illness. Some of these games don't affect me much, but they are the obvious ones (Arkham VR for example, with very little actual free movement that isn't on rails), but I still wanted one that both showcased the tech and didn't make me feel like I was going to vom in my headset on a moments notice. Job Simulator is both the quintessential VR game for newcomers to the tech that are probably not experienced with something being wrapped around their face at all times, it's also a fun illustration on what kind of quirky experience you can get that you could never probably properly replicate nearly as well on a 2D plane than you would in an environment that is crafted seemingly with you in the center of it. It's charming, it's adorable, and it's very fun especially given how stupid the actual concept is. Even not being all that big on games that pretty much force you to stand up and move around, it was an interesting experience to say the least and one that I'm glad I got to try. I would rate it a 9/10 based on just the novelty alone, but somethings were a little bothersome, and it's more to do with the tech than anything else. I know by now that people have sung the woes about their either concerns with VR and everything it entails, but some of it was on display here. For one, this game requires a pretty steep amount of space to get the most out of it; I had a couple interruptions in the initial outset with having to completely remove my VR headset, and either move furniture out of harms way, move the camera so that I could capitalize on the remaining space I did have after doing that, reposition myself to try and get the most out of the available space and give me enough room to actually work my job. And that brings me to the next issue -- some of the jobs (namely the store clerk) WERE REAL SPACE HOGS, and constantly put me in a spot where I would lose tracking of my hands, causing them to fidget and ghost in and out of the screen like a bat out of hell, and there was one par that I literally had to slowly get on my knees (in real life, mind you) to try and force the move to not lose connection with the camera and kind of labor my way to my "objective" which was just a simple task of pulling something out of a freezer by my feet, and it was a lot more painful trying to force my hands to register than it needed to be. Then again, I don't know, maybe I was doing something wrong. I read people playing this game sitting down, so meh. Overall, though, and aside from that lengthy frustrating rant, it's an awesome game and an awesome experience. Perfectly worthy of one's first VR experience, both in terms of showing some of the quirkier sides of what the tech can offer that simply might seem a tad more mundane when played with a controller, but also is just a very fun and endearing experience. Not to mention, pretty much a free platinum, and that isn't always bad, either. Edited May 15, 2018 by iamjax
Popular Post DamagingRob
#315- Beyond: Two Souls BEYOND: TWO SOULS™ MASTER Collected all trophies! I love this game, despite any flaws it may or may not have. Was overjoyed to get to play it again, and on my beautiful HDTV this time (something I didn't have in 2014). Was as fantastic as I remembered it. Some things related to trophies could be a turnoff, though. First there's Duo Mode. Unless you have a friend/family member/significant other to join you for the ride, this means juggling two devices. Not terribly hard to do, but can get annoying. You will need another controller, Vita, or compatible phone for this also. Tricking the system into letting you play with one controller is no longer an option in the remaster. Then there's getting all the endings, which can be kind of a slog. But there is a trick to speed these up, that either wasn't an option on the PS3, or no one figured it out. But if you back up your save just before the point of no return, you can cut out playing the final chapter Five. Whole. Times.. Even though there's only an autosave, the game seems to save you seeing an ending. Possibly to an online database, as it shows percentages of people that made the same decisions as you at the end of a chapter. So yeah, if you haven't played this gem, definitely give it a shot. With it being free on Plus, what have you got to lose? Spoiler Such lame trophy screenshots. DX Edited May 15, 2018 by Fidel

And although i still don't understand what the fuck is going on with the story (time travel made it even worse), who is that guy's Heartless or Nobody, the χ-blade and blah blah blah, at least they made clear what is the goal.I hope KH3 will put an end.I need some closure. And please no more masterminds behind masterminds Edited May 17, 2018 by sephiroth4424
Popular Post DamagingRob
#316- PaRappa The Rapper Remastered Hip Hop Hero Unlock all other trophies. You've gotta believe! I never played this on the PS1, but enjoy rap music above all other genres. So, I figured I'd get it. I did enjoy the music, and most of the game. But I didn't know it'd be so frickin' short. Glad I bought it in a sale. And Stage 4 is the stuff of nightmares. I was stuck on it for nearly 2 hours. If you can get past that, the Platinum should be yours. Cool ratings were a joke to obtain. I'd get into the mode, and just alternate double-tapping R1, then press L1 once, and repeat over and over till the song was over. It's simply beating Stage 4 that's the only real challenge. Popular Post snakebit10
#245 Uncharted The Lost Legacy Don't Ruin the Moment First of I am a big Uncharted fan. One of my favorite exclusives. I really like this entry into the series. I liked it more than 4. 4 dragged on to long to me. This was the right length. It offers pretty much the same Uncharted formula except for a the new lock pick technique. I liked playing as Chloe. She was one of my favorite NPC's from 2 and was disappointed she didn't get much time in 3. Took a bit to get use to Nadine, In the end I think they worked well together. I like the plat image and the trophy in there. Next up I think is going to be Gravity Rush Remaster. Never played it. Getting close to #250.

Payday requires luck, skill, patience having a good team and good communication with them... most trophies are easy enough and can be done in solo or with AI or even in public lobbies with randoms.. but some will require having boosters, mainly Don`t lose face and Noob Herder. had no troubles on Overkill difficulties, except for Green Bridge heist. I.HATE. IT.. a couple of trophies will require moving quickly as you are given 45 seconds and 60 seconds to do them, and thankfully, we got Easy Street without any issues thanks to a great strategy from a random guy, Radikali . most trophies were mainly done with my mates , harrisonr1 and DeathByDespair .. so huge shout out to them. Popular Post Caju_94
#23 - Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment:9/10 I love Digimon and will always love Digimon over Pokémon! That said, I had to platinum this game, no matter how grindy it could turn out to be. Even though the guides say it takes 90+ hours, I managed to do it in little less than 70 hours and could have managed less. But I liked the game and Digimon so much that I did not bore myself (even though I stopped playing this game for awhile). Getting all the digivolutions and medals was a bit grindy but I was always doing something else while doing auto battles, so, it was okay. Of course Digimon World 1 will always be my personal favourite Digimon agem but I was quite impressed with this game, and looking forward to see Hacker's Memory, even though it seems too much similar to this one. The soundtrack is really catchy and the battle system is quite simple and intuitive. The hard mode in this game is quite challenging, and it feels you have many things to do at the same time. Solving cases, evolving and taking care of your creatures, collecting medals, participate in battle tournaments, farming... Now I have an OP team ready to take on any Digimon who wants to face me... BRING IT! Edited May 16, 2018 by Caju_94
Popular Post Kristycism
#43 - Mighty No. 9 Trophy Master This is one of the few plats I have that I'm actually proud of. When I first started playing this game, I thought I'd never manage to do it. I was dying non-stop, and took forever to get through each level. Then to do it on higher difficulties, and a no-deaths-at-all run (for the Challenges, not the trophy for no restarts), I thought "no chance, I'll never do it!" But after a lot of practice it became easier and easier to beat each level, and somehow I managed to complete the entire game (though thankfully there's no trophies for manic (OHKOs) mode, that would never ever have happened... So yeah, turns out it's not that hard in the end, but needs practice at every level, then it becomes perfectly doable for anyone, even me! Must say though, I'm glad I can put the game down, it was frustrating me constantly every time I played. Really had me questioning my need for a 100% profile... Growing up on this, I felt like I should take another trip down memory lane for a more fun platinum trophy. This will probably be my fastest platinum as well, being done in 5 hours and 44 minutes. I'd recommend this series to anyone whether you're doing it for the super simple trophies or playing it for the story. #2: Minecraft Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 Honestly, not a big fan of this game, especially with how easy it is to get all the trophies thanks to the Tutorial World regenerating all chests every time you leave its specific section.
