Popular Post NostalgicMinion
Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. Never got the Platinum on PS3, though still a possibility (but god damn that triad XP grind). Really enjoyed playing this game again. Did a fresh playthrough sometime early last year but went back recently to finally finish up the trophies. Shame we never saw a sequel, or spirtual successor. Not the best cast of characters (Wei Shen... what side are you on man?), but a solid alternate to megagames like GTA. The Platinum is relatively simple to get, you just need to be up to replay missions again and repeat side activities. The Triad XP was still a pain to max out, but doable. Fortunately I didn't have to grind out 50 disarms in the stats, as there are two extra stat categories you can use instead (I did the statues for the island DLC instead of the disarms). Maybe Ill go for the PS3 version platinum when I get the urge to play this game again.
Popular Post Taruta13
#132: LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey This Vita title was a hot mess. It didn't reward you for getting 100% so there is no point in collecting characters other than the three Nomads you need for a trophy and one of each clan, and you only need to buy a Raven and Bear since the others are covered by major characters as well as the fox and peacock because there are two trophies tied to them. This game was also sort of boring. I honestly wished they had commissioned a PS4 version of LEGO Chima which covered the second season for another five levels. This was mediocre as best. 1 hour ago, percy547389126yv said: PS4 Japanese version of The Jumping Coffee Wow seriously, they're stilling shoveling out those games despite threats of bankruptcy by Sony for putting out shovelware.

Popular Post Evrenosi
#86 - FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Supposedly this remake is basically the first 5 hours of the original FF7, but stretched out to 30 hours or so. Still a fun game, but I guess I'll have to play the original version. ?
Popular Post PotrikBerger
Darq (PS5) Anticipation - 2/5 Had read about this small puzzler getting a limited hard copy release a while back and came across a brand new copy really cheap, so thought why not. Enjoyment - 2/5 The puzzles are fun while they lasted, but they weren’t kidding about it being a ‘small’ game. Aesthetically it’s a treat if you are into that sort of thing. Retrospect - 1/5 The speedrun trophies leave little room for error. The six minute run one can’t leave you much more than 15 seconds to play with and the 12 minute level doesn’t leave you much more....and pausing doesn’t stop the timer for these trophies. This means learning every inch of the level, every button press for the puzzles so you know them off by heart and don’t waste one input or one second. Which in essence boils down to lots of repetitive runs to make sure you’ve learnt everything. Personally I don’t like replaying anything, even something as small as 1 small level, so this didn’t really do anything for me other than put off getting the plat as I just didn’t feel like learning by repetition. In the end the thought of it was probably worse than the actual doing, but still, I didn’t enjoy the two speedrun trophies.

Popular Post sk_lp_him
#162 - The Quarry What Doesn't Kill You… Achieved all Trophies! I liked it but compared to the Dark Pictures anthology it's missing a lot of QoL improvements. The chapter select sucks the most. Why not giving me the option to make a separate save like in their other series was baffling to me. Having to sit through chapter 7 more than enough times is just shit game design.

Popular Post RedRodriguez87
PS3 #443:Congratulations! I have been eyeing Angry Birds for quite some time now. Not only have I actually not sat down and played a game despite it being out all these years, I also started wondering how hard it would to be to get a platinum. Is this an extreme test of skill, or is it all a matter of knowing where to aim? I am pleased to say it is just that. There are various resources online as well as video guides that made this process a lot smoother than I thought it would be, and here I am my first angry birds game with a platinum. Now granted to those interested, there is a bit of patience and persistence needed, as knowing where to aim can definitely help you take out the pigs, but there is a bit of luck to how the physics work and whether or not they will help or hurt your overall score. How much is needed? Well, this is a 2% Platinum...... TL:DR If you want to know if it's hard or not, I'll put it like this; The ultra rarity is justified, and yet here it is, despite it being my very first angry birds game completed. Popular Post Bratinov
Plat 96: LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII Difficulty: 6 Fun: 6 Grind: 6 I finally finished the XIII trilogy. XIII was fine, I find the hate for it overblown. I like XIII-2 a lot better than XIII, even though I don’t think that story needed a sequel. It has great music and characters. LIGHTNING RETURNS has a time limit. That kept me away for long time, but I had to see how it all ends. I stressed over nothing, the time limit is very generous. I finished 90% of quests by Day 7 and had nothing to do for the other 7 days. I can’t help but think this game was made to sell strategy guides. It doesn’t give you nearly enough information for the quests you have to do. It’s also a bit lite on content (especially the main quest) and cutscenes, if you know what to do you can be very efficient in doing things and that’s very satisfying. Its gameplay is the best of the trilogy, but not having a companion 80% of the time gets lonely. Edited March 16, 2023 by Bratinov Typo
Popular Post mega-tallica
Hogwarts Legacy Enjoyment: 4.5/5 - Easily the most enjoyable game I played in a long time. They absolutely nailed the aesthetics and the lore of the world to perfection, it's like you're walking around in the movies. From the castle layout to Hogsmeade to the Highlands, it's beautifully done. The story was pretty good but I mostly enjoyed just the exploration aspect and post-story stuff. There's just enough variety in the side content that it doesn't get too redundant except at the very tail-end of your platinum run where you're hunting down those last few collectibles you need and the 3 extra partial playthrough's you need to do too, then it becomes a drag but at that point you've already been fulfilled enough with the game so it's not that bad. I could've done with about 50 less Merlin Trial's though. Those are this games trivial, busywork puzzles that every open-world game has and there's just too many of them and they're not that fun but at least they're quick to complete. Overall: 4.5/5 - The game to beat for Game of the Year going forward for the rest of 2023 for me and I don't think it will be beaten. The only thing this game doesn't have is Quidditch, that's the only thing that's missing that would've put it at a perfect 5/5 for me. I understand why they didn't add it because I'd imagine it would take quite some time to program and program well to live up to the standards of the rest of the game but it still made it feel like something was missing. Trophy list is easy albeit time consuming, if you're efficient with everything you can get it platinum'ed in around 45-50 hours on normal difficulty and switching to story difficulty for the side content. My final playtime was 47 hours. Ends right when it needs to, when it starts to become boring.
Popular Post Ala-Arska
LEGO Worlds Master of Master Builders! Collect all the trophies Sometimes it's better to just LEGO. LEGO games in general are awesome. They are fun to play solo or coop, they have bazillion characters to choose from. They are funny (with or without real voice acting) and mostly stress free (some dumb shit do exist). I have played the majority of LEGO games and I wanted to add Worlds to my collection too. Rookie mistake Well, it's pretty far from your main LEGO experience. It's a Creator game (if that's even a thing), and a boring one. There's just no point to it. Visit infinite amount of Worlds, collect shit, end of story. This is like doing the "create for 24 hours" trophy in Little Big Planet 1 or 2, or both. It feels like eternity. Plus side of things: you can play as million different characters. They all pretty much do the same thing, but still. You can build stuff and pretend it's just as good as Minecraft. Spoiler alert: It isn't. Bad side of the moon: camera is awful, to put it nicely. Trying to create anything is borderline madness because the zoom is in your face Controls are fine by the most part. Except when trying to climb (or not to climb) anything. Then it's Crazy Camera Man Time! Who's probably there to shoot a porno, because that brick bastard gets stuck more often than a step sister in a washing machine Collecting 1,000,000,000 (yes, one BILLION) studs is laughable, since there IS NO MULTIPLIERS this time. Prepare to press X for 9-10 hours for that one. And again, I managed to watch some "quality" films during that. Stuff like Child's Play 1,2 and 3. Collecting every Brick element is even more horrid. Opening hundreds of chests and praying to RNG Gods is not, dare I say, child's play At least it's done now. Even for fans, this brick should get blocked "Don't be fooled by the rocks that I got. I'm still, I'm still Jenny from the block."

Popular Post NetoStyle
JETT: The Far Shore (PS5) #174 The Far Shore Obtain all trophies. 10.15% | Rare 6 days, 23 hours. I'll be honest, I didn't think I was capable of completing this game... Wow. It was a very different experience for me, the prologue and the first hours were so boring, everything felt slow. The highlight of this game on my opinion is the gameplay, roaming around with a Jet plane it was very fun discovering islands and stuff. But getting collectibles was not very easy because of the "map" section on the pause menu. You are not able to pin places or even zoom in the map to move more accurately between places. And the main con was the amount of dialogues in the game, damn it was extremely boring. I played 80% of this game while listening music on the background and watching Youtube videos. I'll be comitting to the DLC to get the 100% but I won't do it right away haha, I wanna take a break of this game.
Popular Post NostalgicMinion
Saints Row Got this game done in January, but took me til now to get Platinum because of the online prankster trophy. It literally took me 2 min to get that trophy. I tried joining a bunch of games via matchmaking, but either the server wasn't responding or I was declined by the other user (which is totally fine). So this will be a trophy you'd likely have to boost no matter, at least that's my experience. Obviously not as polished or content rich as other Saints Row games, but it wasn't all too bad. I started this back in December right after the devs released a patch that supposedly had 200+ fixes. Thing is, there are a ton of little technical issues with this game. What the hell was this game like prior to that patch? Nothing gamebreaking fortunately, just a lot of issues you'd think would've been fixed during QA. My main gripe of the game is that the world is dull and boring. It's likely fortunate this game didn't attempt to mimic GTA Online, because this world would not have stood the test of time that Los Santos has. Some minigame favs from past games appear here (like Insurance Fraud), but honestly they just felt routine in this one. Still, you could do worse than Saints Row. No regrets going for the platinum.
