Popular Post insaneeeRob
Congratulations Saw 2 Finally! I reached my goal of this year... 50th platinum! I wanted to play something new for me and nothing better than a shitty horror game for ps3. Ok, It wasn't that bad but only the first playthrough it's fun. Thank god for the flashback option that helped me to replay the mini-games (the puzzle box was the only shitty game that I had to replay a bunch of time just trying to beat the time on both normal/ insane.) I had bad luck for two things... Two power outages and I Had to replay the game again because of a stupid choice on chapter 1... Finally this game is over and now it's time to go back to PS5!
Popular Post Swotam
#199 - Lake (PS5) Delivery Status: Complete 58% Common Of the recent additions to PS+ Extra, this is one that stood out to me. Set in the late 1980's, Lake is a relaxing and enjoyable story-driven game that offers a no stress experience through a core gameplay loop of driving a postal mail truck performing deliveries in the small town in Oregon where the main character grew up. Returning 22 years later, taking a break from her hectic city life, you fill in on your father's mail route while establishing (or reestablishing) relationships with characters you encounter during the course of two weeks. Each day involves making deliveries and interacting with local characters, while being given opportunities to assist some community members along the way or participate in social activities after your work day comes to an end. A straightforward Platinum where the missable trophies are quite hard to miss (unless you're going out of your way to be antisocial), so as long as you progress the game while offering to help when asked, and by generally being social with those you interact with, then you're good to go. The game only takes a few hours to complete, and is broken up into 14 days so it's easy to jump in, do a day or two, and then jump out without feeling that the game is asking too much of your time. This one is definitely worth experiencing while it's available on PS+ Extra. It's another a solid indie effort that's fun to play while allowing you to essentially zone out and enjoy the ride.

Popular Post reaperveteran86
Platinum #341 Sea of Solitude (EU) All Done - 47,23% Played it for the Trophies for Mental Health 3 event. It`s an adventure/puzzle game with a story that focused on family/relationship problems and creatures, that looked like a mixture of the ones that Studio Ico designs and the ones from Where the Wild Things Are. I liked it, but some of the trophies are counterintuitive to the themes and goal of the story/game. Platinum #342 Blackwind (PS4, EU) Perfectionist - 41,51% A twin stick shooter/hack `n slash, that feels like a lesser Wolverine Origins at times. The story is your typical mecha anime (boy lands in the cockpit of a mech suite and fights against enemies), but the tone is a bit off. The character design and main character have strong saturday morning cartoon vibes, but the game has a lot of gore, excecution moves and death in it. Gameplay wise it was fine, but the controls where not the best and I glitched through the map 2 times and had to reload the last checkpoint. Platinum #343 Succubus Succubus queen - 9,76% When a enemy calls your character a cum gurgling bitch and she responds with "Yes, that sounds like me" you know, you`re in for something special. This game feels like a playable live action western version of a JAV based of a guro hentai (down to the pixelated censorship). The game is strongly censored in the nudity aspect (not so much in the gore aspect) but it didn`t bothered me that much,as this kind of pixel/blur filter is a better option than something like rays of light or blacked out parts (you can at least see some things this way) and after a while I was so in the gameplay, that I didn`t even noticed the censor filter anymore and sometimes the filter doesn`t work properly which leads to happy little accidents (in the ending sequence, the breasts of my succubus bursted clearly visible through the blur) or forgot to censor some "details" (all doors made of sinners fave their penises intact and the save point statue is very detailed). In it`s core it is a hack `n slash in the ego perspective that reminded me of games like Hexen 64 or Doom. There are a lot of different weapons (all with a second attack move and different excecution moves) and spells that are bound to different armors (I use the term lightly because most of them are more like a few shreds of cloths, the often meme`d bikini armor looks like a plate male in comparsion to some of the armors in this). The environments are very good looking and detailed (some eventually even too much, looking at you Mountain and Forrest of Flesh) and you can customize the succubus with a ton of (unlockable) horns, hairstyles and bodypaintings (there is even a switch to make certain aspects of her bigger and firmer). The game was easy (even on hard with the right weapons/armors) except some of the level challenges, which where annoying (finding and killing X amount of babies, tentacle kills) to slightly frustrating (avoid X amount of damage). All in all, for a game that I had no positive expectations for (censorship, from the developers of Agony) I had a lot of fun with it and even thinking to giving Agony a chance (have it in my backlog, but never played it).
Popular Post Juudaime
Platinum Skyfrom Granblue Fantasy: Versus Honestly had the game since release (2020) and even beat the story/RPG mode on release, but didn't feel like doing the trophies. They weren't even that grindy (5h maybe??), but I never had the motivation. I still need to go back and finish the additional story they added (without trophies), so I can be done once for all. Not my favorite anime fighter, I do love Granblue Fantasy though. Edited May 25, 2023 by Juudaime
Popular Post Trancexistence
#61 - Tekken 7 So from my favourite Tekken game straight onto my second favourite. This one for me also had the most enjoyable storyline of the series, which is enhanced by a dedicated story mode focused on the Mishima bloodline. It was great to see Nina play a big role in it too. There are also dedicated character episodes for the fighters who are less important to the story but these consist of one battle followed by an ending cutscene. I would have liked a bit more from them to be honest. Only 10 of them needed to be completed for one of the trophies but I played through them all anyway as I enjoy the story. In terms of difficulty, it's the easiest Tekken platinum of all time and that along with how quickly the all the trophies can be achieved were the only disappointments for me. I'm hoping for a more time consuming list for Tekken 8. I usually alternate between Kazuya, Lee Chaolan and the two King's as my mains but it only felt right to stick with Kazuya this time with the story being so heavily focused on him and Heihachi. I gave all of the new characters a go and Josie was definitely my favourite. Was happy to see Zafina return after debuting in Tekken 6 and the long overdue return of Kunimitsu for the first time since Tekken 2 in the mainline series. Next for me is going to be one from my PS3 backlog - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 Total Game Time: 9 hours
Popular Post LOG-FX
#76 STRAFE Time: 61h "COMPLETIONIST"- Get all trophies (First time posting here!) Strafe was a game that got me more and more involved as I got used to its mechanics. Its oldschool-fps + roguelite style is a bit "selective", but living up to its title, learning to strafe-jumping creates a very interesting dynamic throughout the gameplay. The trophies are a little hard, but in the most current version there are modifiers and checkpoints that make the platinum infinitely easier than it should be when it was released. Also, one characteristic of the game is the amount of eastereggs and references scattered throughout the map, which I particularly found quite interesting and fun too. I still have the feeling that the game carries a lot of things not yet discovered by the players. Unfortunately, there are not few bugs found in the game, and the peformance on PS4 doesn't seem very good (I played on PS5, and had certain moments of framerate drop). But for sure it's a game that deserves more attention than it has.
Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Platinum 290 and 291 Fun: varies based on game but it goes something like this: MMBN: 8/10 but 6/10 for post game MMBN 2: 9/10 and 8/10 for the bit of post game you have to go through MMBN 3: 10/10 and 8/10 for bit of post game clean up you have to do MMBN 4: OH GOD NO, NO!!!!!!!/10 MMBN 5: 9/10 (no post game needed) MMBN 6: 11/10 but 8/10 for the bit of post game you need to do Difficulty: 5/10 but can be a 1/10 if you use bustermax to x100 your buster damage I honestly thought that the Mega Man Battle Network series was long forgotten by Capcom but to my surprise it was revealed to my excitement! I loved playing through the series as a kid and always wanted a modern port of the series that included 5 and 6 since I never got the chance to play them due to losing interest in the series thanks to the 4th game. The game series has you playing as Lan Hikari and with the help of his Net Navi Megaman, you end up saving the day and the world in each game. While playing as Lan, you go to school, hang out with friends and have fun till something bad happens that you need to plug Mega Man into to fight the villain or virus causing the issue. The main gameplay has you playing as Mega Man in a 6x3 grid with Mega Man on one side and the enemy on the other, you can use different attack chips with different damage numbers, effects, etc that's long and complicate and is best to learn in game. I'll give my short thoughts (mostly) on each game: Vol 1: Battle Network 1 Battle Network 1 does have issues but I still love it. The biggest issue comes with exploring the net. The entire thing is the same path way, and same background and as you go deeper it becomes a complicated maze you have to navigate. You do encounter copies of bosses you defeat throughout the game which you need to do to complete it. It's the only game you have to get a 100% completion in which is the easiest one to get a completion in. Just get all the chip data and beat the super boss. Battle Network 2 The issues with the 1st game are gone! The battle system got a few tweaks to make it smoother and the same background and pathway the net had in the 1st game is gone. Now you have unique looking areas that are easier to navigate through. You do get a chance to get unique custom styles based on how you play and you'll need to use each one once between two and three. Getting them is a pain but buster max will make things easier. You don't have to go too deep into the post game and you just need to do all the side quests to complete 2. Battle Network 3 Even more improvements are implemented! You now have a custom navi screen to install programs onto Megaman to give different effects such as higher buster damage, more HP, and more health. The story is top notch in the series! You have to delve someone deep into the post game to achieve a few trophies but bustermax will help with any tricky situations if needed. Vol 2 Battle Network 4 I have a long rant I'll post here but just know, there is so much wrong here I'm going to just say, this is the worst in the series Hide contents So the graphics for the over world got a huge downgrade from the 1st three games, the main story actually takes place in the back seat while Lan and Megaman participates in three tournament that each have three rounds and you have to do a side quest before you can actually fight your opponent. It copies a problem of the week style story telling similar to a weekly anime show which doesn't work for video games. There's a few new mechanics introduced which range from helpful if you're good to okay it's good but the drawback is really bad. The good mechanics come with the cross soul mechanic and emotion gauge. Cross Soul has you sacrificing a chip to copy a form of specific enemy bosses you've defeated in tournaments and each has a unique ability and changes how you deal with enemies. The emotion gauge has several statuses but the most important one is full synchro which happens when you delete an enemy in the middle of their attack. That lets your next battlechip deal double damage. The other mechanic is dark chips, they're powerful chips that allow you to dominate your enemy but using one permanently lowers your HP by 1, which isn't much but if you use them a lot, you can eventually make your max HP 1, Now Battle Network 4 is both the shortest and longest game to play. If you just play it once through, it's short and you'll be done with it in a day or two. Now if you want to 100% it (you mad lad), you'll have to playthrough the game three times. Yes THREE TIMES! While making sure you get every chip you can each playthrough because once you get to new game plus, most of the enemies upgrade to their 2nd form and it'll be hard to find 1st forms of the same enemies. Every tournament has you facing of against a basic navi, a named boss navi you don't have a cross soul with, and a named boss navi you do cross soul with. your first time through you get three cross souls, 2nd time through you only get two souls from the 1st two tournaments and fight the same one you already fought in the 1st playthrough for the 3rd tournament, then finally on your 3rd playthrough you get the final soul that lets you get access to a door deep in the undernet that won't open unless you have all 6 souls. The 1st tournament qualifications aren't bad, just complete a few requests from three people, the 2nd tournament has you finding 50 points hidden throughout the world and the net (have a guide up), then you auto qualify for the 3rd tournament and just have to find a few things before it starts properly. You will likely playthrough the same scenarios multiple times across each playthrough. Now there a few points outside of the tournaments that a story plot happens but not the main story that you literally get air dropped into after the 3rd tournament. Both of them involve stopping the same bad guy from harming your friends and others around you. After beating each tournament you see whats happening with the main story that has a meteor on course to crash into Earth and the scientists are working on finding out a way to stop it. After an attempt to stop it fails after the 2nd tournament, they decide to send a navi to the meteor to stop it after discovering it's artificial and there's a computer controlling it. Which lead to the 3rd tournament being created to just find the best net battler on Earth (spoiler it's our main character Lan [seriously after saving the world 3 times why aren't we just sending him in right off the bat?]) I will say the gameplay is still solid and the music for the most part is still great with a few exceptions that are just....awful But, battle network 4 has the worst story of all time and terrible plot progression that happens in the background and you get thrown into it last second. I will say it was neat going to different countries but that wasn't fleshed out that much if you don't get the right scenario that features those countries in it. I feel that the game could've been better if they just dropped some of the ridiculous scenarios, made a better story that features the boss navis fought in the story to better incorporate Nebula (the main bad guys that aren't actually behind the meteor but are literally demoted the a B plot villain from the main meteor problem) into it somehow. So it introduced a new crime syndicate called Nebula that are spreading Dark Chips that corrupt the users and even that takes a back seat to the Asteroid crashing into the Earth plot and rarely is mentioned until the 5th game where they're the main bad guys. Sure when you're doing the tournaments they aren't a problem outside of one or two scenarios and outside of the tournaments it's like 3 times they're a problem. They literally could've cut out the asteroid plot, and all the bosses you fought in the tournaments could've had a better story that incorporated Nebula corrupting them. instead of tournaments back to back! and on top of all of that, the absolute worst thing about Battle Network 4 is that for a long while, it was the best selling Mega Man game in the entire franchise at around 1.3 million units sold until Mega Man 11 topped it at about 1.5 million sales. At I can guarantee that due to people experiencing this dumpster fire turned them off from playing any future Battle Network games which lead to a decline in sales with Battle Network 5 and Capcom decided to make Battle Network 6 the last one in the series. So there's a handful of chips you get late in the post game called evil chips that can only be used if you've been abusing the dark chips enough to where MegaMan is in Dark Karma, something never mentioned in the game or referenced at all. So you have to corrupt Mega Man enough to where he's considered evil to use said chips which, while powerful, aren't as useful as other things you can do with the cross souls you can use. There's even a program advance that you can only use in dark karma mode. Also, dark karma mode locks you out of full synchro which cuts out double damage for chips, cross souls that transforms megaman into cool and fun forms, and you won't be able to use the gunsol chips or any Navi chips which are more useful than anything provided by Dark Karma's evil chips. On top of that, there is a set up to use the evil chips without being in Dark Karma mode, you need a dark hole on the field which allows you to use them, making Dark Karma mode not even needed at all! before I forget, the translation was awful. In numerous spots in the game there are translation errors including grammar errors, spelling errors, and using the wrong portrait on who should be talking. Basically, Battle Network 4 killed the franchise. And the previous game was infinitely better and due to hype of it being so good probably lead to Battle Network 4 being the best selling game due to word of mouth saying how good the series is. Battle Network 4 stands amidst Battle Network 3's achievements and fumbled it hard. Battle Network 5 It introduced a new type of fighting mechanic similar to fire emblem called liberation missions where you control a small group of navis to fight off the main enemies from the net. Everything got a massive upgrade from 4 (which isn't hard to do) and is a much more enjoyable game. The faster you complete the liberation missions, the better the rewards are. Battle Network 6 The pinnacle of the series improving the already improved mechanics found in 5. Gone are the liberation missions but you can control other people's navis for short missions and upon completing them gives Mega Man a new upgrade to use which gives you an advantage in battle. The story again is better and serves as a beautiful ending to the series. Edited May 27, 2023 by Rick_Sanchez

However, I am glad that I got to play the PS4 version of the game. The game is a fun with elements of platforming mixed into it, which I imagine most old school PS1 games were back in the day. I didn't have any issues with the game and was able to get it done in roughly 16 hours with very little frustration.

Pretty glad that I managed to do everything without looking up any solutions, I usually give up once or twice with puzzle games. But the mechanics here were solid and fun to experiment with, so I was always motivated to get to the solution myself. Veeery satisfying to clear some of these levels. I loved Bastion and Hades, so I wanted to play this other gem from Supergiant Games, and I wasn't dissapointed! It's a short game with a fast paced combat system, the music was 10/10 as expected. Popular Post disaster500
#72 The Escapists - 3.60% Personal Difficulty - 4/10 This was with guides and the wiki. If you don't use guides for help with escaping the prisons, it becomes a lot harder. Time Played - ~20 hours The Escapists is a prison-escaping game. A month ago I got the plat for The Escapists 2, and I wanted to plat the first one too. The general gameplay loop is still there, you need to loot, steal and buy stuff to craft powerful items to help you escape. This can range from shovels/pickaxes to dig/chip through walls, powerful weapons/armour, to stuff like plastic keys to get into new areas. As you progress through the game's 6 prisons, the prisons get tighter security and trickier layouts. The first prison, Centre Perks, has basically no security at all, officers are weak etc. The last prison, HMP Iron Gate, has a camera in every cell (severely limiting how much you can search inmates' desks), contraband detectors at basically every door way, and is surrounded by sniper towers and electric fences. It's also on an island in the middle of the sea, so you'll also need to bring a raft with you. The trophy list is pretty simple. Besides escaping the 6 prisons, you'll also have to do expected stuff like beat up inmates/guards, get into vents, buy items etc. There are some grindy trophies though. You need to craft every item in the game, do every job in the game (this wasn't as bad as the same trophy in The Escapists 2 though), plus some especially tedious ones like flood 50 toilets and talk to 100 visitors. I prefer the second game, but this was still fun to return to and get the platinum. It's also a pretty easy UR if you care about that. I recommend it if the premise interests you. Popular Post Phoenixofadranon
Crash bandicoot 4! I’m very happy for this one cause I hardly play platform and this one is tough. I have actually 2 tips for anyone want to try this. 1) change spin attack in your button settings from square to R1. In this way you will have all the buttons you need in a straight line: R1 attack, triangle mask, circle slide and x jump. This helped me a lot during time trials. 2) buy a new controller. Chances you will destroy it in time trials or throw it out the window during all boxed no death runs are pretty high ?
